4521  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Attention! Bitcoin casino Scam Sportsbet.io /Bitcasino.io on: April 10, 2019, 09:59:37 PM
Hello everybody I'm happy to be here. I signed up for a reason and although I wanted to protect my Bitcoin friends from fraudsters since I have been playing with Bitcoin for years in casinos, I have the certain experience. A very good Bitcoin casino which is only recommendable Fortune Jack. What I can not recommend to you is Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io these are both scammer casinos that just rip you off with certain programs that just let you win in the beginning. Overall I've lost more than 30 BTC at Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io and perhaps won 1 BTC with sports betting. The casino is shelling the support too. The casino has no license and many of my friends had the same problems. I even think about taking legal action against this casino but I want to hear your opinion for now maybe we can file a class action ... I will still provide screenshots of evidence and would advise against playing there. Who can recommend a good casino?
So, what kind of proof do you have?  Care to share those screenshot evidence so that people can actually trust what you are saying? And stop advertising other casino when trying to make users aware of scammy sites. Doing this just makes you look bad and most people get a feeling that you are just trying to promote other casino while defaming all your competitors.
Sportsbe.io does seem to have a bad reputation over here. I have seen people complaining about them before.
4522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: April 09, 2019, 09:44:32 PM
I have been able to resist it. I don't know how but yeah, i have never been an addict despite being online in the casino that I moderate. Probably that is happening all naturally. All people do not react the same way. Some people get addicted and some people don't. It's like smoking. I have seen a lot of people who smoke just to socialize but never became an addicted to smoking. That's the same in case of gambling. There are people who gambles once and then get stuck with it forever. Again, there are people who gambles just for fun and isn't addicted to it. It's like they can quit whenever they want.

4524  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is “sportsbet.io” a fraudulent website? on: April 09, 2019, 09:28:45 PM
When I extracted my BTC, my account was frozen.Does anyone have an experience like me?
I think I was Sad cheated. Is there a way to get back my BTC?
Try contacting support and see what they have to say. The person few post above seems to represent sportsbet.io. His account is already tagged with negative feedback. Should have read that before depositing over there. The feedback seems to based on this thread. Go through the whole thread and you will get their explanation of blocking his account. Did you by any chance break any of their Terms of Service?
4525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: April 06, 2019, 03:38:00 PM
-snip-
Most of Gambling users history :
TOTAL BET > TOTAL WIN
-snip-
I guess you mean't Total Lost > Total Won for most users (i am assuming based on your title). Isn't that obvious. You have to be lucky when gambling to make profit. If everyone was lucky and had Total Won > Total Loss statistics, then there would be no casinos at all. The casino makes profit from users loss and this is how it operates. And yeah, in the long run, the house always wins due to its house edge.
4526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Promoting Gambling on: April 06, 2019, 03:25:44 PM
You are so wrong in many ways. It kind of a feels like you are forcefully promoting gambling even though you know that you are wrong  Undecided.

1. It gives you easy money or easy cash whenever you hit jackpot. You can earn month earned worth money within minutes if youre that lucky.
Do you really think hitting jackpot is very easy? And how many people actually manages to hit it? Its like out of 1000 people only 1 guy gets lucky while the others suffers from huge loss when try to hunt the jack pot. It's easy money, but also an easy way to lose everything you have.
2. It is pure 100% entertaining. The chills it gives you whenever you pray to win in every games makes you forget time that even you go home late at night.
Its is entertaining when you are on a winning streak. It is no longer entertaining once you start losing. You start stressing out yourself.
3. You can forget all your problems for a while. It also a way of relieving stress because you are more focused on the game than your problems even for a short period of time.
And here is the problem, once you forget problems, you are so indulged into gambling that you start creating more financial problems for yourself.

4527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling sites needs to be a mobile friendly or not? on: April 06, 2019, 03:17:47 PM
Hello guys, I know that some of the gambling sites is not mobile friendly or doesn't have a mobile version of the platform and you won't be able to play their games on your mobile phone which is kind of sad in my opinion but is it really recommendable to make the site mobile friendly or not?. Some gambling site is mobile friendly and you can gamble anytime/anywhere you like with just using your mobile phone. What do you guys think about a gambling site that is non-mobile friendly or mobile friendly?. I'd love to know your opinion about the gambling site that is mobile friendly or non-mobile friendly and if it is helpful to gamblers or not.
Making it mobile friendly has its own huge advantage. People can gamble from their phone anywhere anytime and quite easily whenever they want. It actually depends. At least for now, it is optional, since high percentage of people does online gambling through their personal computers rather than using phone. But, i don't think its going to hurt to have a mobile friendly version of the casino. Instead, you will just be able to increase your player base be it through a small percentage.
4528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: April 06, 2019, 03:13:48 PM
You didn't loose anything. Back then, lets say in 2017, you had 10 bitcoin and now you still have those 10 bitcoin assuming you didn't sell anything. You see, you haven't lost a single dime unless you sell it. Stop looking at the fiat values and just look at the amount of coins you have. It might help you a bit to stay mentally stable. Keep on holding it until the desired price level has been reached back. Then sell it if you want to.
Anyways, you knew about the risks when investing on crypto currencies. There is nothing to regret about. What you have lost investing is lost forever. Just start from the beginning and try not to repeat the same mistakes again.
4529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we close that chapter now and move on? on: April 06, 2019, 03:00:01 PM
Oh we never really cared about those naysayers  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes. They were already ignored by most of the people who understands crypto currencies and the technology behind them. And also, most of the naysayers or whiners aka cry babies were the ones who got scammed and fooled. Let's not forget about those people who didn't join the market when they were affordable for them and is not crying because its too late for them. All they are now trying to do is spread negativity hoping people will fall for it and eventually crash the price (big dream!).
4530  Other / Off-topic / Re: One thing I am Glad for in 2018 on: April 06, 2019, 02:55:02 PM
Not sure who you are talking about, but yeah. The burst and price was badly needed. The way the price was rising at the end of 2017 was totally unhealthy and a clear sign that the market was being manipulated. Late investors would have suffered more if the price went up higher. all we need is just a steady increase of price rather than sudden burst. At least due to this event, people will remain more cautious when investing.
In my daily prayer, I always pray never to see a year like 2018. It was so terrible for me both in cryptosphere and offline.
Lol  Cheesy.
I joined cryptocurrency last year and borrowed money from a cooperative to buy wepower..
My friend was talking  about how cryptocurrency investment is the best .
She prompted me to buy wepower.
I bought ,only for the price to sink very low and I lost a good percentage of my money.
You invested on the wrong stuffs. Don't listen to your "friends" when you are about to invest and risk your own money.
4531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has the market completely recovered on: April 06, 2019, 02:27:20 PM
The price just made a small jump from $3,900 to $5,050 USD. This does not mean the market has recovered. In fact, i don't think there is any specific point of the value where we can say that the market has recovered. According to me, the price of bitcoin is still undervalued. We still yet to see the real price of the bitcoin.
This small sudden rise might be due to manipulation of the price. I have read somewhere it was due to a huge buy up from a single trader that caused the price to roar. If that's the case, then we might see the price getting dumped soon.
4532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A true crypto enthusiast must be courageous on: April 06, 2019, 12:01:19 PM
You can't just remove "fear" from your life. Becoming fearless is not always a good thing. Being fearless about everything will make you take wrong decisions and you might end up suffering more due to those reckless decision. It is fear that helps you think twice before doing anything. Fear indeed does stop/restricts you from gaining profit, but remember, it also helps saving you from potential losses.
4533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the God of crypto........ on: April 05, 2019, 11:26:21 PM
And who made bitcoin the "God" of crypto currencies? It is what you think. You think that bitcoin is the god of all other crypto currencies,  but that's your opinion. There are people out there who does not like bitcoin and prefer other alt coins over bitcoin. All crypto currencies are not the same. Different crypto currencies have different features and you can not compare them with each other. Let's not call a single coin the God of all other coins. Let's look at all those legitimate coins as equal!
4534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency investment on: April 05, 2019, 11:00:30 PM
Better not take financial suggestions from random people on the internet. Trust me, you won't get a single proper answer and most of the answers by the users will tend to be biased towards the coin they have invested on. No matter how shit those coins are, they will always tell you that its the best coin to invest on.
Better do your own research and follow your own gut feelings. This way you will learn a lot while deciding what to invest on.
4535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for lots of negative articles on bitcoin on: April 05, 2019, 10:57:17 PM
Oh we have seen this happening for a very long time. Every time we see the price rising, the media starts going crazy. They, for some unknown reason starts to find faults and flaws on crypto currency. Negativity about bitcoin starts to spread like cancer through the media. Lets not forget about those so called "specialist" who you never heard of pop up and start screaming "scam". At least, there are people who are aware of such acts and remain unaffected by those FUDs spread by the media.
4536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best place to sell a little bitcoin on: April 05, 2019, 10:51:05 PM
I have been away for awhile and was wondering where the best place to sell some bitcoin would be?

Was selling some on coinbase but now they want a copy of my ID and I don't feel comfortable with that.

Is CEX.IO a good place to sell?

Thanks
If its a really small amount, then its not worth going through those KYCs and ID submission. Always hated Coinbase because of all these bullshits. What you can do is, find someone on this forum who is willing to buy bitcoin in exchange of the coin/currency you want (you will be saving fees too). If its a reputable buyer, then there is less risk of getting  scammed. If its a new random buy get an escrow!
4537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is simply too difficult to buy to gain acceptance on: April 05, 2019, 10:47:19 PM
Why would you want to buy bitcoins from a service that asks for your photo identity and all other information (which they can sell for a sweet hefty profit!) while there are other ways available? You could have done a peer to peer aka face to face transaction from any local guy near you. LBC can help you in this case. Sad that we have to go through these stupid KYCs when trying to buy bitcoin online. We actually do need an easy and better solution to buy bitcoins online.
4538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler = Future's Failure on: April 05, 2019, 09:33:38 PM
Someone told me that, if I keep on playing on the casinos I will become a failure in the future.

It's strange to me since I don't know that guy personally and I'm just playing on the casinos that time but I think he has something to say about this.
I might be doing a wrong thing while playing the roulette or he is just depress because he's so serious that time.

But one thing I've realize about what he say is that, gambling doesn't make good people it creates greedy people, addict people and broken people so I think this is the one that strange guy talking about. Do you agree on this one or this is just a coincidence?
That is just his/her opinion and his/her way of thinking. You shouldn't keep on overthinking about what the user said to you. After all he is just a random user whose words mean actually nothing to you. You know the best about yourself. If you think gambling is going to harm you or is harming you, then simply stop gambling. Try taking help from others to get rid of this addiction. But, if you think you are enjoying and is not harming you in any way, then go ahead and continue gambling responsibly.
4539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trust in new crypto-trading apps? on: April 04, 2019, 11:30:48 PM
Can we trust some new crypto-trading apps or it's better to trade with good known Binance, Poloniex, Bittrex.. ets?
Unless the application has been developed by someone very well known and is open source, then people would actually try using the new crypto trading application. But, I would recommend people not to use it or at least if they do, then store only small amount of coins. The new application might have a loot of bugs and vulnerability issue. Give it some time and let the application be more developed before you use it.
If the application is made by some random person, then no way I would be using it.
4540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did today bullish trend affect gambling! on: April 04, 2019, 11:21:03 PM
I think due to todays growth, gambling sites will decrease the maximum amount win in games. For example stake.com has limit in 10 btc in dice game (if I’m not mistaken). It is 41k$ or 47k$ for the maximum win. Huge gap between this two.
As far as I know, the maximum winning limit are set based on a percentage of the total bankroll so that users can not empty out the whole bankroll with just one bet. This also helps the bankroll to stay in game and recover the losses by forcing people to play more.
The limit as nothing to do with the price of bitcoin since the prices are extremely volatile and this might cause the casino to keep on changing the limits.
