What are bitcoin credit ratings (and who are you again)?

I wish the government would just leave this system alone.
Bitcoin will be either shut-down or it will be overtaken and used as long ago announced one world currency. There's no other outcome, IMO. Bitcoin already is the only world currency. "Overtaken" hmm, depends what you mean. If you mean the rich, influential and important will oust the 12yos with delusions of grandeur, then absolutely. Guruvan: Posting these comments on the blog could actually get you a reply. I'm not qualified to discuss the matter. Founding Partner Mircea Popescu began practicing law yesterday when he wrote a blog post about the internet and has been specializing in internet law ever since! Absolutely confidence inspiring. I see the beginnings of a remake... A plucky, middle aged man of indeterminable foreign origin opens a fictional stock exchange. Follow him on this raucous adventure as he gets busted by the State's Attorney. He can't afford the $50,000 for his own attorney so he decides to go at it "Pro Se." Will his hail mary "It's all just a MMO" specious defense keep him out of the slammer or will he be doing hard time? Find out in My Cousin MirceaRead more, opine less. You can start with the actual link (for instance, it includes a picture).

Why should mpex be trusted? GLBSE just closed down.
Why should you be heard? There was once a retard on a forum.

Hi YouAreRichard. Options trading exists since about August 2011. Also, you need to join IRC so you don't need to confront the ridicule of offering to launch new products that are some of the oldest things in BTC.

Well, I wasn't sure if it had been tried. Since it was not written explicitly. At least, I thought. "the owner of the contact address does not respond", almost explicit...
I've learned not to think too much for other people. Especially when free coins are involved.
In translation, Hi, here's something perfectly useless and banal I've spent fifty seconds on (only because I am retarded, normally it would take five). I refuse to put any thought into this (or anything else), but please consider me for a large windfall (at least comparatively to my meager means). Fucking Obama voters, where do they keep coming from? On topic: owner is Satoshi himself. You will never get this domain.

They both used Bootstrap, like almost every other failed BTC venture website that the retarded forum population wasn't slamming for "bad design"?
FIFY.

Don't post off-topic replies. This thread is about GLBSE history and not child porn, spam, how better other exchanges are than the now dead GLBSE.
He successfully baited me, I'm sorry. On topic: Hear, hear!

Can you for once shut the fuck up with the advertisement for MPEx? It's like listening to skipping record and it's getting old. I understand that all this is making you feel fuzzy and warm inside and that kicking GLOBSE when it is down has inflated your ego, but it also makes you look like a baby that took candy from another baby and now wants everyone to know how good it tastes.
What exactly is your problem? Are we now on v2.0 of being an idiot, after "MPEx is bad mkay child porn mkay", are we now doing "MPOE is mean mkay, stating the obvious I don't like to confront mkay"? Go hustle the open transactions guy.

I have a brilliant business plan and here it is:
I'd like to buy 10,000 BTC worth of ASIC hardware and mine on it like everyone else.
I'm really good at mining, like f'in tits out awesome at it.
I have a 5970 that generates bitcoin like all day.
I also am probably like the best video game player I know.
Once I start mining bitcoins like a mf'in boss I'm going to start the new GLBSE, except it's going to be called...wait for it...wait for it...
G to the L to the B to the S to the mofo down home bustin' EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
That's right yo, fat stacks and back cracks.
I know I'm going to rule at running an exchange for a few reasons:
1. I'm the best miner in the world 2. I read some shit about picking stocks and it's easy.
So I wanted to make this fair to my bitcoin bros and brought this here first before it blows up.
This offer expires in 72 hours.
After that I feel sorry for you guys because I'm going to mine every coin out there before you.
Peace.
Diablo stop making alts.

This is the complete trading and dividend history for GLBSE since the initiation of 2.0. Trading HistoryDividend HistoryThe only problem is it does not include IPO sales as the twitter feed never seemed to record these trades. I also estimated the revenue generated by GLBSE from this data assuming 0.5% trading fee since inception and 8 BTC listing fee for each security. It is not completely accurate as some of the listings rolled over from GLBSE 1.0 and the fees associated with transferring assets between individuals and the IPO sales is not included. From 4/2/2012 to 10/4/2012: 187 contract listings 66519 total trades 6006474 total contract volume 35911.75164 BTC total volume 2823.6 BTC total revenue from trading fees 1496 BTC total revenue from listing fees. 4319.7 BTC total revenue. Nice work. So, 6 month GLBSE volume, 35k. 30 day MPEx volume currently, 80k. Was as high as 170k last month. Where's the smartypants going oh, GLBSE has more volume all during August? Hm?

Nefario never goes in MPEX threads and calls them criminals or scammers for example in response to the same words from MPOE-PR.
Now why exactly do you think that is?

Gox fulfilled the tiny orders I made correctly, they were placed higher than the current lowest ask at that time (and so were never intended to be sold immediately). It was shortly after having completed these orders that I noticed the missing 8.08 BTC. I brought up the history on my account, and saw that the 8.08 had been sold into the bid wall. I looked back to the browser tab where I had been placing my tiny trades. Those who are familiar with the mtgox.com web platform will know; if you haven't refreshed the page or browsed away, then the values in the fields corresponding to the most recent trade you made will still be in those fields (except the "Amount of BTC to BUY" field, which usually, but not always, becomes blanked). The evidence of my most recent trade was still there, being as it was that I hadn't refreshed or browsed away. And it was one of the tiny 0.0205 BTC values that was represented, nothing remotely corresponding to 8.08 BTC.
I am beyond mad with these people. I am genuinely not sure how to handle this, because they continually deny that this phenomenon is taking place at all, and yet offer no reasonable explanation for what is actually happening.
I'd be very concerned about an account compromise on your end. At least if no other people confirm your experience.

mtgox makes much more than satoshidice, basically gox makes 1% of the monthly volume, the volume is usually at least 1M BTC per month, some times more than that, I've seen several 2M months. so gox makes at least 10k BTC per month. satoshidice makes about 2k-3k BTC per month and they depend on luck, they almost went bankrupt at the start, and had to raise house edge significantly. mtgox has two employee though, also they pay for pretty good hosting.
1% of 1mn monthly volume is like 10k. Discounting their discounts, their expenses and so forth, MtGox is roughly in the ballpark of S.DICE.

This is disappointing especially as they were represented at the Bitcoin2012 London conference and all seemed to be going well for the director of the company... hope people get their BTC back.... time to switch to PPC i think They (and their Bitcoinica scammer friends) were the conference.
