Verona 19:45 Inter Milan

Verona 1 - 0 Inter Milan

It's unbelievable that inter is currently losing, although I still believe they can reverse that result and in the end win the game, but without Lukaku and without Antonio Conte it's clear that they're not as strong as last season
It is half time now and Inter is behind with 1 goal and Inter odds jumped to 3.5 but BTTS odd is still low @1.35 ... I think Inter could score in the second half but not sure how this game will end.

Edit: Martinez scored a goal, Verona 1 - 1 Inter!

it is a shame that the number of followers of both Real Madrid and Barcelona has dropped enormously. It is likely that all the emotions of football are heading towards France and England.
It is noticeable, EPL has almost most stars to follow with solid teams, Unpredictable results and competitive games. PSG has Messi and Ramos among a couple of players to watch too, otherwise games there aren't top while what left for La Liga? Real Madrid without its historic defense and CR7, Barca without its legend Messi..obviously the number of followers of La Liga will drop for these reasons..
For today's game, 20 minutes left before the end and Mallorca is leading with 1 goal vs Espanyol

Today, the new match week start with the Nantes - Lyon game. As we know, Lyon couldn't have a good start so far. They got 2 draws and 1 loss. They were really close to getting their first win against Clermont but Clermont made an insane comeback from 3-1 to 3-3 and it ended like that. Nantes might be a worse team than Lyon in general but Lyon should still be careful in this game. Nantes made Monaco have big difficulties in their first game. I still believe that Lyon will be victorious here.
I wouldnt be surprised if Lyon dosent win as well today, they are playing really bad at the start of this season plus they are playing an away against Nantes that arent playing really good but are always a hard opponent to beat
Lyon is in awkward situation with only 2 points after 3 games. Nantes is relatively weaker than Lyon regarding its performance last season but with the actual performance of Lyon no one could be sure about the outcome of this game.
The match just begins and the odds are @1.8 for Lyon and @4 for Nantes.

I don't think so, but fans are happy because the legend who once left and is now back, this is something we have to see how after Ronaldo officially became Man United's squad this season.
With a 2 season contract I want to know if he will also present a trophy again at Manchester United, because of course the past and now will definitely feel different.

Only in the current transfer season is it surprising.
Messi left the house
Ronaldo is back home after a long time. Wink Grin
ManU consolidated a lot its position and is very powerful right now imo but not sure about the title since Chelsea is very dangerous with the actual squad. Of course City is also threatening even if they didn't invest in making the team better..
Now as you just said, this transfer window is incredible! Messi movement sparked a surprise after almost few hours from renewal of his contract and CR7 made another surprise going to ManU after few hours from making one with City!
4525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 27, 2021, 05:44:26 PM
It's official! Ronaldo will return to Man United!
-snip-
It is Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the Premier League, more than a decade after leaving the 'red devils' in 2009.
Lmao! Everyone was waiting for City to announce CR7 signing to find ManU officially welcoming him back lol!
Now that what I called a SURPRISE, there was basically no single news or rumors about that after Varane signing. Now City is in awkward situation for real, ManU and Chelsea are building a hell of teams and Guardiola has to look forward for a solution to save the title for real..
4526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 27, 2021, 05:37:02 PM
I think Dortmund will win this match and there will be lots of goals. But this is still the Bundesliga and things can go the other way just like that. Also if Halland plays like he does it will be an easy win for Dortmund.
Dortmund odds are @1.4 vs Hoffenheim @6.4
Dortmund is better of course but we all know their fluctuations and how Hoffenheim could make surprises. Their previous face-off generally ended with Dortmund dropping points especially at home. Hopefully they will win to compete Bayern seriously later.
I find personally the best game to be Wolfsburg vs Leipzig this weekend.

Clearly Group A was the joy to hold, we will watch great games there. Club Brugge must be devastated after this draw. Group E was also pretty good, Bayern and Barca is on the same group. I think the weakest groups were F and G, they are more like Europe League level teams. The last of all Group C will be the most competitive group and we will watch the toughest games there. All teams have similar level and everything can happen. Borussia Dortmund is the favorite but their place is not secure. Sporting became champion in Portugal after 18 years, Ajax is like a factory, they have promising young talents. Beşiktaş is the best and only Turkish side and can beat all odds here. I'm patiently waiting for first matchday.
Indeed Group A games will be very tight ones and those 3 teams should not lose a single point against unlucky Brugge.
Group B is also interesting since teams level are pretty close: ATM, LFC, Milan +/- Porto.
Group C matches will be very Unpredictable except maybe for Dortmund but we all know how laggy they are.
Group D, E and H winners shouldn't be hard to tell tho.
Group F and G teams are close enough to know precisely the favorite teams to pass.

It was almost a disaster for Galatasaray but in second half they did a good comeback. If they couldn't win this game we would see a big crisis in Galatasaray. They reached group stage and contribute country coefficient point, which Türkiye desperately needed. Fenerbahçe also won comfortably as expected. I didn't see much light from Helsinki, only Riski brothers were good and they both scored. Helsinki defense line and goalkeeper were pretty bad.
At least they managed to pass after their pretty bad failure in the first leg.. The other Turkish team, Fenerbahce, crashed HJK with 5 goals, pretty unexpected but good result for them.
Antwerp was the second team to recover from its defeat in the first leg and passed this stage with penalty kicks.
Today is the group stage draw, wonder know if it will be interesting as CL one Wink

Trabzonspor did not start the game badly. But they could not show a game as they wanted and unfortunately could not find a score. If there weren't any injuries, maybe they'd have a chance.
After Rome scored the second goal, the match was already over, the control of the game passed completely to Rome. If Trabzonspor had scored an early goal, they could have won the match Smiley
Roma is in better condition right now and with a slight advantage, Trabzonspor has few chances to pass it.
Almost all the clubs I know passed, Copenhagen, Rennes, Gent, Lask, Union, Spurs, Partizan. BTW Hammarby did a nice comeback but lost at the end with penalty kicks vs Basel

So things are getting intense these days with CR7 imminent move to City and PSG accepting to discuss Mbappe €180m offer from Real Madrid after a long time of rejecting any deal or to the idea to let him go this summer.
Juve was looking for a swap with GJ from City at the beginning but there is rumors now that they are looking for Aubameyang to replace CR7. I find him an interesting substitute but will Arsenal let him go? €25m value but we all gunners will ask for more especially that his contracts expire in 2023.
4531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 25, 2021, 08:24:59 PM
These are very hot hours for Juventus regarding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo. After his debut on the bench on the occasion of Udinese-Juventus, CR7 wants to leave Juve IMO. As reported by Fantacalcio.it, Bianconeri ask at least 25 million euros to let the player leave, a figure that would interest Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
Another reason for that is That if the Kane deal does not complete, the last minute Ronaldo opportunity could arise for the citizens: Gabriel Jesus could also be included to accelerate the operation.
https://twitter.com/HKane/status/1430496495225262084?s=20

Harry Kane is staying. He tweeted this.

So, I wonder whether Manchester City would be able to sign Cristiano Ronaldo on the last week of the transfer window. But €25m is a really bad offer I think. I don't wait for Juventus to sell him for that amount. His market value is €45m now. Let's see whether City will manage to end the deal.
Yeah I read that and find it logic. Spurs won vs City and Wolves, they are trying to compete for the first places, his team isn't willing to let him go that easily, so yeah he will try his shot this year.
For CR7, Juve want to get ride of his salary and he wants to leave although in public it is said that he want to continue there and Juve want him to stay. Now it is his opportunity to try his luck in City which seems trying to get him for free, but honestly €25m is cheap for City and is satisfying Juve which wouldn't let him go for free like that after spending a fortune on him.

That moment when you open a video game and decide to play a match training mode without referee nor fouls nor offside and the final score looks just like that Tongue

Oh boy, that's humiliating, more than half of the players scored in that game...
4533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- now at: 21/22 Playoffs on: August 25, 2021, 08:08:46 PM
Failing to win vs 10 players for almost 60 minutes in your home is so frustrating for Eindhoven fans.. Malmo passed thanks to the goal scored in this match and it is funny to see Young Boys results the same as in the home game with an inverted red card, mirror force Tongue
For Wednesday games, Salzburg and Dinamo should pass too, but I think the most interesting match will be between Shakhtar and Monaco.
Dinamo has a really difficult task today, I personally feel their chances are slim. They are a better team on paper but they lost the 1st game 3-0, and more importantly they played really bad. I'm not sure how much they can improve in such a short period of time, Sheriff defended them without much problems a week ago.

Dinamo is lucky that they scrapped the away goal rule, with that active I'd say they have no chance of progressing. In an open game like this I expect Sheriff to score so I'll be going for both BTTS and over 3,5 goals bets.
Meh, I was waiting to see Dinamo scoring 2 goals in the first half and reduce that ridiculous gap, they are dominating but failed to score until now, second half started and their chances are dropping... It is unfortunate for them to leave like that Undecided
Salzburg is now 3 goals difference in aggregate so theoretically are safe.
Monaco in the other hand made a surprise turn and they are now leading with 1 goal difference (aggregate)

OK I'm Guessing Mbappè will stay in Paris this year.

https://i.imgur.com/wO6rTAS.png

What is the point of spending this amount if in 12 months will be for free?

Source: https://twitter.com/theMadridZone/status/1430599461907148806
I'm really surprised by the size of the amount claimed. If it's true Real Madrid will never want, neither being able, to pay such a large amount while Mbappe doesn't want to stay at PSG. Then at the end, PSG will keep a frustrated player and won't get a single penny when he will leave next year.
PSG is trying to milk as much as possible Real Madrid as I said before. Few days left for the transfer window and although PSG appears to trying to hold him, they might end with selling him for around €200m. We will see how it will end this story.

Atletico Madrid are preparing for their next match which is going to be against Villarreal this Sunday. Atletico Madrid are overwhelming them here of course. And they started with two victories to the season. As Luis Suarez also started playing, they should be able to defeat their opponent in this match. But it might not be an easy victory as Villarreal are a strong team on defense.
Villarreal is a hard opponent and could make surprises even vs bigger teams. Until now they have 2 goalless draws without forgetting their tight match vs Chelsea in Super Cup 2 weeks earlier. ATM has to score more than 1 goal difference if they would to compete for the title this season too!
4536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 24, 2021, 11:30:57 PM
New rumors are circulating that Mbappe is not interested in staying with PSG. He has played in 2 matches. Thought he might be staying with PSG for one more season. Will perform with Messi and Neymar. But he is probably interested in going to Real Madrid now. PSG's management should sell him and look for new players.
We are talking about this in the transfer topic too and nothing clear as usual. What is obvious is Mbappe wants to leave, PSG wants him to stay and renew his contract to avoid losing him for free next season.
Now with the transfer window is shrinking, PSG will try to milk Real Madrid as much as possible and imo they will end with letting him go before few days from the closure of the window.

Benfica played an hour with one less, after Lucas Veríssimo expulsion. It was a game of great suffering, thanks to Benfica goalkeeper - Vlachodimos (considered the best on the field), keeping the score zero. With this result, Benfica managed to enter the group stage of the Champions League, which already includes two other Portuguese teams, Sporting and FC Porto.

Real Madrid is going for Mbappè  Cool
-snip-
Spoiler, PSG will say no thankyou we don't need money.
PSG money is infinite, who cares about it. The only equation Nasser is looking for it is whether to let Mbappe in the team for the CL and let him go for free next season OR try his luck without him and get a nice deal from Real Madrid and let them struggle financially for a while.
I think he will let him go since he will count on Messi, among the others, from now on.
4539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 24, 2021, 07:40:13 PM
Europa favorites Sevilla would bring you loads and loads of money though!
Sevilla are favorites due to the history they have in the competition over the last few years. But this year, I believe it will be more difficult for them to win the competition, as they have many clubs around and they will certainly want to have a good season in the competition.
I think it soo. There are many good teams this time. Sevilla is a team strong enough and stable. Their performance is stable enough. But there are some more stable teams as their opponents, winning the title will not be easy. However, if you bet on Sevilla, you can stay in the safe zone.
Whether I didn't understand you well boys or you aren't aware that Sevilla will play in Champions League this season and not in Europa League? Of course in CL Sevilla won't have a chance against Chelsea, City, Bayern and PSG for sure.
2 days 2 go for the 2nd leg games Wink

Mikel Arteta is under pressure again after having bad results in the first two matches of this season. But the team are still supporting him to stay. And there are some rumours like Antonio Conte would replace him if he continues to get bad results. Some people still think that the main problem is who their manager is. But it isn't actually. They don't have a really qualified squad. That's why nothing changes for them every season.
Well, Arsenal isn't competitive lately and of course it is not Arteta faults only but you can't sack most players or buy several new ones at once thus the easiest option is to try another driver in a broken car.
The most infuriating thing for Arsenal fans is to see their team losing badly vs Brentford. Losing vs Chelsea shouldn't be a thing and even vs City next round most likely. I suppose his fate will be decided after West Brom match in EFL Cup or by Spurs games at the end of the next month if negative results continue.
