4521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: May 11, 2017, 01:10:30 PM
Bitcoin is like money, some say it is money. Either of the two is correct because bitcoin can be earned and spent. It can also be exchanged to other currency.

Money is considered by the government, they must be stamped  either paper or coin. But it can be used as a payment, either services or debt, so if I will have to choose, I still don't know what to choose.
4522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: May 11, 2017, 10:51:01 AM
I will buy a high end pc gaming for my own room if i won big amount of money on gambling. The problem is it's hard to won much money on gambling, rofl. But if someday i won big amount of money, i will buy it for sure and give it some to my parents and my brothers.
Sounds like a good plan.  But be careful because sometimes a big win ends up costing more in future gambling losses.  Most people  think you will do it again.

More like, people are assuming that they can achieve again another big win and make big profits from gambling. Experiencing a big win is a really good feeling that you might want to feel again, but the thing is it will just make you feel like winning and then just get it all in the future. It is better if you can control yourself especially if you are experiencing streak of losses and wins. It might take years before you win in gambling, but it just takes seconds to lose all of your winnings
4523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: May 11, 2017, 10:16:24 AM
Needless to say it's money for me too like it's so to others too but it's kind of valuables to me which I can keep and depend on it for my future.

We srill don't know the future of these digital currencies, so we can't still say that we can depend or rely in these digital currencies, all we know is that it works so well nowadays, having high price and giving us good earnings for a long run. I think we just need to trust and take risks to earn from bitcoin, the last time I did, it never let me down.

4525  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Health and Religion on: May 11, 2017, 02:26:16 AM
Health and religion are closely connected. If someone are capable of following religious principle then health would be Hazard less, every religion offer a pleasant routine for human being.
Religion principle suggest us to live in a happy life. early rise, prayer, seeking work for surviving and come back to family after completing work. All these things suggested by religion.
Mental health is the key of leading healthy life. So religious principle should be followed.

I think they are not connected at any point. Religion is something that we believed in, something we don't know to be true but we know that it is there and we believe it. Religion makes us positive in a natural way making our health affected, but even without religion, we can be positive in our own ways.
4526  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: May 11, 2017, 01:36:32 AM
Looking at how its value has evolved over the years,it won't be used by everyone but I believe its exchange rate will be much higher.

It won't be used? Look how the price are swollen, you think people especially investors will let this slip away. And when people knew about these they will be willingly make some investments in these digital currency too. And in 2022, I think many countries accepted bitcoin but still secondary payment, some problems solved but new problems emerged.
4527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: May 10, 2017, 10:33:21 PM
If we want to quit gambling for good we must control ourselves on out betting amount, and we should be more responsible enough with our acts. Quitting for a better purpose will bring profitable savings for your pocket which you could value money to be the most important wealth that you have specially you are in need for a budget, unlike lossing it through betting games. Think for your self and most importantly your family, how could you attend their needs if gambling will be your priority in most of your time in your life; so be renewed and change for better future.

Not just controlling ourselves on our betting amount but controlling ourselves totally. Some gamblers are still addicted to gambling even if they are betting small, they do it so they can enjoy and make their gambling activity longer. Unless it is giving you some profit, you do not need to stop it, you just need to control yourself.
4528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 10, 2017, 10:04:03 PM
This is an interesting question, and I am finding myself stunned, often, by the size that my deposits have shrunken too.  I got very comfortable quickly converting the BTC to USD by seeing each .001 as roughly a dollar.  Well, that is stuck in my head for some reason so when I deposit $50 worth of BTC I got used to seeing somewhere around .045 give or take a few.   So now the deposits just look so tiny, and on top of this, I find myself betting as if it is still the lower value as well!  So when I used to bet a very comfortable dollar worth of BTC it is suddenly closer to two dollars each time I roll the dice!  Almost double to play and only half of the actual BTC to play on makes for a short ride!   I need to adjust the conversions - TODAY-  so I can pace myself, definitely.  Yes, it is expensive for me because of my little routine but as a few people mentioned, we can just scale it proportionately and perhaps we won't be staring at the zero, bewildered.  Or at least not so quickly.  I really need to accept it.  Bitcoin is ever on the rise.  Good luck with the adjustments everyone! Cheesy

If you are a Bitcoin holder and also a gambler, you might want to consider managing your deposits by taking the future price of Bitcoin. For example, you can assume that Bitcoin will cost $3000 in a few years, so to deposit $100 you send 0.033 BTC instead of todays actual 0.058. If you lose all your deposit it will cost you less in the future, since you used exchange rates from the future. But your profits will also be reduced, so if you win, you might start regretting that you haven't deposited more.

I think it is better if while you're using bitcoin in gambling sites and casinos, why not invest at it? Mostly, gamblers that use bitcoin is not that interested in investing their money to bitcoin because it is for their gambling activities, for them that is just a tool to gamble with. But I think if they are using bitcoin to gamble and investing at it at the same time, I think it may help them not only in gambling but also financially.
4529  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: May 10, 2017, 02:27:11 PM
Addiction means too much and we know that too much with everything is going to be bad for us, emotionally and physically. And if you don't want to get into the poverty line because of gambling, you should be aware that it is possible to happen for you. So if you will not do something for stopping your addiction, you are near to it.

I am so confused from what you have said. You said that if you will not do something to stop your addiction, you are near to it, but the thing is, you are addicted that is why you need to stop, so why will you say we are close or near if we are really addicted. I think these is the mistake most addicted gamblers think, they are thinking that they are not addicted to it, but the truth is, they are already addicted to it.

Addiction is also not a negative trait so don't worry too much about it because all skills and comfort techniques start from controlled addiction, I help addicts who often experience high emotions not by telling them to retire, but need to set the time and learn from defeat every day, any defeat will be a power to rise smartly and addiction in this case is needed.

Then why will it be called addiction if it is not a negative trait? Addiction, the word itself is a negative word. If it is not an addiction then it must be another word that is more positive than the word addiction. Words like habit or interest is good and more better than addiction, and also has a good meaning and result than addiction.
4530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: May 10, 2017, 02:10:02 PM
I always have a small hope that I am lucky to win today and this hope does not leave until the money runs out Grin

This is not a good example especially to beginners. You must think or plan your gambling activities thoroughly because it will really ruin your life. And the best part is, we don't know when qwe will be lucky, so that small hope will be like a black hole sipping all of your hopes into nothing.
4531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 10, 2017, 01:24:24 PM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?
Only profits can make people happy that is why they choosing gambling than risking there money into investment without guaranteed that htye can really earn from there. You can play smart with gambling by playing with small amount then playing safe is much better when you are not sure with the round then not bet but if you are sure enough make your bets bigger.

It is a smart way if you are going to play small amount. And also take the time to relax first before gambling so that you will have a good mood before gambling. Because if you are not in mood and you started to gamble, your whole day gambling will be affected too. You will be acting always in rage which is not really good.

I don't think that it is a smart way, but it is like tip toe steps to addiction. If you are going to gamble, whether it is a small amount or a big amount, it will really make more addicted to gambling especially when you can experience winning. When you are in a good mood and you gamble, you are being over confident, making yourself and your money good as lost.
4532  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: May 10, 2017, 12:45:53 PM
No I am not at all addicted to gambling as I gamble only for fun and that also once in a blue moon and to be honest I really don't remember when I last gambled as to go for gambling you need to invest your lot of time and you need have constant watch on the game so you can decide when to put your bets.

If you are a gambler that are just gambling for fun. That is going to be the best thing about being a gambler, as long as you don't think about profit, your bets will not be that important. And in that way, you will not become addicted but once you realized your loss, that can lead you to addiction when you started to hope for return.

Gambling addiction is not giving any good to our lives. It can even damage our lives and financial condition. Too many people fall into poverty by gambling, and only a handful of people enjoy life from gambling. Unless you are the owner or investor in casino.

Addiction means too much and we know that too much with everything is going to be bad for us, emotionally and physically. And if you don't want to get into the poverty line because of gambling, you should be aware that it is possible to happen for you. So if you will not do something for stopping your addiction, you are near to it.

4533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you lost / win on Bitcoin dice ? on: May 10, 2017, 12:24:14 PM
I don't know exactly how much I have won or loss in total till now but i still remember once i have lost around 100$ worth of bitcoin on dice within 1 hour.  Roll Eyes
After that i haven't lost significant amount at once in dice and i have never made any good win till now.

Wow, that is a lot, I never lost that big in my entire life. I also lose and win in a gambling activity, but I lose more than I had won. But what I am losing was given to me by them, I just use faucet to gamble and never use my own money. I am not losing money, but I am losing a lot of my precious time.
4534  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: May 09, 2017, 11:45:59 PM
This is applicable to the casino owners, you should not be dealing with those people that you are not familiar with when it comes to the involvement of your gambling site. They are prone to getting attacked but if you will be able to have higher security and you are willing to invest bigger amount on it, that's better.

well lets face it, even the cia is prone to hacking so for really good hackers, gambling sites won't be much of a problem even if they have good security. that's the reason why  the emergence of anonymous gambling through btc is a lot more preferable these days.

Hackers have their very own expertise, I don't know if they where able to hack some site if they have background about it but I admit that there are few very good hackers that are doing this. But I know most of those great hackers are using their skills for making a website's security higher. And of course, professional casino's are ready for it.

Casinos will not let any hackers goes in, they might already did some precautions on not being hacked by hackers who really wants to attack them especially if websites involves lot of money or been so competitive.

That is right, before they even do some casinos or gambling sites, they first ensure the security of the site, they examine the site very well, not leaving any vulnerabilities in the site that can be seen by the hackers. Hackers will do anything to hack a site especially these kind of sites.
4535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: May 09, 2017, 11:19:32 PM
Because our minds have been filled with dream of winning. The losing gamblers will gamble again, in hope that he can take back what he has lost on gambling table. He will continue to do so until he has nothing. A lucky gambler if he is aware before losing it all.

Personally. I'm not gambling to recover my lose.I just gamble because I love playing slot especially when it have a cool effects when i spin. It really relieve my stress from work whenever I hit the bonus round which give a chance to win such huge amount. So gambling is my stress reliever no matter what will be the result. My focus is just for entertainment.

I also do gamble to have fun, to entertain myself or have my time to spare. But even I am gamblingfor fun or entertainment, I do not use my own money, I just gamble in some gambling sites with faucets, I can't afford to lose my money in a gambling site and I don't also want to be addicted to it. The reason we always lose is because we are not learning from our mistakes.
4536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: May 09, 2017, 10:38:08 PM
Any game of chance consists of risks, and despite the fact that these are betting on sports games or betting in a casino. What can be lost there or there.

Not just any, all games and gambling games consist risks, even a sports betting or a bet in a casino. But betting in a casino is more risky than betting on a sports game, analysis and experience can help you win your bet, in casino bets, there may be some games that requires skill, but mostly it requires luck.
lol did you think sportsbetting not requires luck mostly? even a lot of people has been made a claim about how experience and skill analysis could bring you bigger chance to win , i don't think it would beat on how luck take bigger role to determine the outcome in gambling. it would always about luck in the end.

That last line is talking about the two, the casino bet and the sports betting. I am not just talking about casino bets but also sports betting. They are all gambling games that is why they requires luck. And you are right, the game will be determined by your luck, unless someone is cheating.

How does one Put down Gambling for good?
If you are not addicted to gambling then quiting is easy just find something else do to to entertain yourself and that is it, but if you are addicted then quiting is a lot harder, you will probably need psychological help and admit that you are addicted, it is not going to be easy but it must be done.

We can't just assume someone to be addicted and who is not addicted. The real problem here is how you treat gambling. There are gamblers that are not addicted to gambling, but they lose a lot, and there are also gamblers that are addicted to gambling, but they can control themselves. Most addiction cases really needs a psychological help, proving that addiction is really hard to overcome.
4539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: May 09, 2017, 01:59:40 PM
Somehow to be ashamed of being a gambler. They never feed you, and you gamble with your money. There is no good reason to be embarrassed unless we beg for someone to gamble.
You have a point, as long as you dont bother anyone else or you are not begging money to anyone i think there is nothing to be ashamed of. but if you ruin your life and your relationship towards your family because of it then thats the time you should be ashame. that means you give gambling importance more than the people that is dear to you.

If you are a gambling, everyone will be bothered especially you're family, you can't say that they won't be bothered because you don't ask them for yor gambling money, but because you might be addicted to gambling and may ruin your life, spend all your money, ashamed of what you have done, but you will not be the only one ashamed of gambling, it will also affect your mother or wife, but also your childs.
4540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 09, 2017, 01:28:34 PM
It depends if you are gambing in poker or in dice, slots,or other games which are not skill games like poker. It is more matter in poker than dice and other games but in sites like dice, slots it depends on luck ,skills cant help you.
No, eperience matter in all games of gambling because by have experience will make you have feeling to know when is the right time for gambling sometimes expert gambler only open their account and watching the games play for what they wait for something that i call with feeling.

TechnoMusic has a point, on gambling games like dice, experience may not be needed because it just really requires a huge chunk of luck, without it, even with experience, you can lose. But experienced gamblers knows when to stop, dice may require luckiness, but if you are a experienced gambler, you can stop any time you want to avoid losing and secure a good peofit from it.
