4521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: August 21, 2016, 08:38:45 PM
... we are tempted to divest and gamble the money in the end.

yeah, tell me about it... I got burnt few times by divesting and gambling just to get my investment back to the nice, round amount.

The most dangerous thing you can do when loosing: investing more. I recomment you to never go with more than you can afford on you, because even if you say 'oh well I won't risk it anyways', the time will come when you will. And you'll be sorry forever..
4522  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: August 21, 2016, 07:54:35 PM
All I want to be able to spend my btc for is Gas and being able to pay for beers and dinner, If i can be able to do that with a simple app I would be set.

But waiting for a confirmation would be such a pain .... I hope they will find out a way to get past the confirmations and to pay everywhere you go. That would be awesome for both us and Bitcoin, opening new doors for those that never heard of it.
4523  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 21, 2016, 07:48:33 PM
This puts a lt of newbies and other lay people off bitcoin because they feel vulnerable that their funds can be easily stolen, especially those who are not very tech savvy. This is such a shame really and this hacking was responsible for the latest price drop in bitcoin.

Or the owner ran away with the money. Maybe he will restore the website for a second phase of the 'hack' like HashOcean did. It's easy to get rich through this, while making most of the users poor in a split second.
4524  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 21, 2016, 07:46:40 PM
op's stratgy is good but i think we can make the percent of saving into lower of higher depending on the situaltion because its life and we have to face many difficultys in it
Yeah right planning how to save and how much you want to save.. so that you can make a profit in the future and you can also use bitcoin in your financial.. that so double benefits..
It must be very sure that in the future will be profitable bitcoin, and that cases such as this summer bitfinex, too, should not be.

These are cases we can't help or stop. We don't even know if these 'hacks' are real or not. It's going to be profitable because it's going to become even harder to get.
4525  Economy / Speculation / Re: This price (~$575) is normal and good, and here's why... on: August 21, 2016, 07:39:15 PM
People who expected to get rich over night are idiots. I'm sorry, but that's true. Nothing is guaranteed. Sure, it could happen, but you can't count on it.

Bitcoin will chew you up and spit you out if you don't know what you're doing. That's why I always buy to hold long term (spend money you won't need for years) or be a damn good day trader.

People thinking getting rich overnight is possible are those who also think gambling can make them rich using strategies. That's totally false, and it's a lie being told by some casinos or people who got rich from them.
4526  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 21, 2016, 07:33:25 PM
I am using it as an investment at a moment as the place where I live is not that tech developed and people are not aware about it so it makes difficult for me to use it as a currency.

It is still good. If you can't spend bitcoins, you can just hold all of them and wait til a very high price. It is actually better because you will not be tempted to spend your bitcoins on useless things.

Yeah. But if really needed you might want to withdrew it. Notjing wrong with it. Bitcoin is not really made just to be stucked in your wallet.
Withdrawing your coins actually help in the bitcoin network since your coins gets into the active circulation.
Holding coins are not actually helping the bitcoin network since there is a lowering possible supply of coins because many are becoming inactive coins.

I think the price would rather rise when holding them than when withdrawing them. It would put it in circulation, but would mean selling it (which would mean we are not interested in it anymore), so it would lower the price.
4527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: August 21, 2016, 07:28:00 PM
Martingale works. That's a fact. But it has problems. Also, you need to deposit an averagely good amount of money to have any opportunity of earnings.

Just make sure to follow the system and you'll make money Smiley

Or you can go and play by your own rules and make money through that too. No need for these useless strategies. They can't even be called strategies.. they're just methods through which someone was lucky enough to get rich. That doesn't mean we will too.
4528  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: August 21, 2016, 07:17:28 PM
100bitcoins and a well settled busness will be more than enough to get retired after 20years but i think 100bitcoin is little bit harder to achive in this time but you can try

It may be more than enough, but it depends on how the currency will rise in value over the years.
Depend on his need to wag money.so you can not say 100 bitcoin will be enough .if you looking to retire after 20 year than why not to invest 1 btc in trustable mining service which give you good profit.

Things and foremost theres no a trustable  mining service even they exist  for how many months now but  the  assurance that it would last forever isnt there.  100 bitcoin is a good  amount if you looking to retire after 20 years. You could build a physical business with that amount and   you can secure your  future i guess.
I think now, even many people who have 100 BTC and they still have to work hard to be able to live comfortably in real life. I think especially in the future will be more expensive cost of living you need more than 100 BTC
100 bitcoins not a lot at the moment though i think that in the future it will be worth holding it

I now think the future means war, lol. We're approaching it, at least this is how it looks like.. 100BTC is not enough to live off maybe even for ten years. You never know when you need to spend thousands of dollars for an emergency. You need much more than that.
4529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin" is the hottest topic for me.. on: August 21, 2016, 07:13:02 PM
Nah, it's not the hottest one. We've got hotter topics, I think BTC would be among the first hundreds in top though.

Many people aren't interested in Bitcoin, because they either constantly hear about it being used 'just for crimes' or do not hear at all about it.
4530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gamble small amount i win and when i gamble big i loose. on: August 21, 2016, 07:10:09 PM
Just keep on gambling small amounts and you will be a winning player ...as simple as that.
Yeah you're right, betting small amount is the only way to minimize big loss. but when you're on long losing streak( like 12+) you'll mostly try to bet big amount to cover the previous losses.(i do that - sometimes i get lucky and recover all lol)

Sometimes. But you are not going to stop after the first small win, so you will go further. Gambling will never be able to stop us whether we are capable of thinking that it's a bad thing to do it or not.
4531  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Earn Bitcoin Just For Being Active on: August 21, 2016, 07:07:52 PM
Define "earn some Bitcoin". Paying per post or what?

I dont see he will pay per post either maybe that is hes point for that but he also state that only good for newbies so it will also tell that he would pay low amount per post in his furom but i think this thing will not be accepted by those experience people here since the payment is so low and boring.

"the payment is so low and boring" you don't even know what you have to do to get paid, nor do you know how much will you receive. You're speaking like you've been here before and you know what's going on. If you don't know what to post to earn some cash with your signature campaign, you can look for anything else but trying to destroy a website's reputation with predictions.

Just wait. Be patient, the rules and the instructions will be coming soon. Stay tuned with the forum, and you'll find out. The Admin didn't say that it's JUST for Newbies, he didn't say he's going to pay low amounts for posting. Wait.

Also, the website was released on the 12th. One day later, everyone is going crazy about the categories being empty. If all of you, would have joined the forum and posted, of course others would have found more topics. You're expecting something impossible from a new forum.

Do you even read the OP's post before commenting here? He clearly says there that this is for newbie and do you expect that he will pay high enough for a newbie statement?

I started a forum about bitcoin and thought I will pay for activity. so if you be active and write post on my forum you will also earn some bitcoin.
forum:  skybitcoin.com
This is for newbie.

I read it. I also have good news for everybody.

I started using this forum for six days already (entering my second week!). I started off as a total newbie, knowing nothing about what I could expect from the forum. Two days later, the Admin offered me a Moderator job on the forum. I am very happy and proud to be the Moderator of a forum, and I wanted to see what it is about.

After my first suspicions, everything cleared up in my mind: the Admin only wants to create a great community for everyone to join and have fun in. The design of the forum is great amd user-friendly. Also, yesterday I have received the first payment on the forum as a surprise. I didn't know the Admin before, I spoke to him since the second day since I joined the forum and everything has been going great since then.

The Admin also stated here that this is 'for Newbies'. I asked him what is with that sentence and he explained the fact that he thought higher ranks members will not really be interested in his forum, and he wanted to give the Newbies a chance as they don't really have many to earn some BTC over here. He was talking about the Newbies from THIS (BTCTalk) forum, not about HIS.

I'm now willing to create a great community out of SkyBitcoin, and I recommend you all to join us too. Who knows.. one day we might be a community as big as BTCTalk is. I'm also very happy to be a Mod there and will continue to support the great website.

The proof of the first payment has been posted on the forum, Off-Topic section. If you guys have any question regarding the website, you can ask me anytime.

I hope now everything got cleared up in your mind, and I hope you aren't going to suspect this website again. Join us, and we will see!

EDIT: Just to clear up one more thing: you WILL be paid, whether you are a Newbie or not. You just need to be active there, and you will be.
4532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: August 21, 2016, 08:17:37 AM
I hope someday I will win some jackpot and gambling is only way for me to become rich. I know it is hard to find someone rich from gambling as winners keep playing and loose all money even if win big. I will surely run and will never look back at gambling once I hit some big amount. I know how to control myself and will remain rich by that money.
Yeah its too good to be true, i think all of us are hoping to get rich in gambling like hitting the jackpot even once. i will also lie low in playing and use that amount to build a business so in that way i will become rich.
Majority of the gamblers like to be rich in a slowly way as that would prove that they can win in gambling consistently, for me that is my ambition to be a successful sports handicapper and to win consistently in gambling and would not rely on my luck anymore.

Yes really all depends on our luck, respectively. I'm sure people who have won in gambling must have also suffered defeat and lost a lot of bitcoin. Which can be rich in my opinion is the owner of a gambling site.

I agree, bitcoin casino owners are rich now because many gamblers are wasting their bitcoin or money to play having a desire to win and get rich someday. I think those who get rich from gambling are people who play opponent vs opponent games ike poker. I think it is impossible to win big amounts in online gambling sites where your opponent is the house and you will never win against it.

Not really. You can win big in online casinos and dice games too. It's as impossible as it is to win opponent vs opponent: 50/50 odds. You either win or loose, no matter what payout and win chance 'you choose'.
4533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Earning Gambling Site? on: August 21, 2016, 08:11:24 AM
Hello there! Well.. you see, there aren't websites on which you earn and on which you aren't earning (except the scams). Most of the popular online casinos are trustworthy. The winnings, however are totally depending on your luck. If casinos would have let us win or loose, there wouldn't have been any online casinos around us right now.
4534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: August 21, 2016, 07:01:11 AM
Not discouraging, but the only smart way I find it better than any of the existing strategies and methods in gambling is stop gambling.

This depends on what you're trying to do. For example, for me it's profitable because I'm playing just with faucets, so I have nothing to loose. If you can and want to risk loosing money, it's your decision.
4535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 21, 2016, 06:44:36 AM
I'm not a pro gambler. I gave up every site after playing a few times and ended up in losses. For me, gambling won't fix my life. If you other suggestion, let me know I'm interested.

I do have a suggestion. The biggest mistake everyone is doing when beginnimg on different websites is depositing and risking all. First of all, think about how much you CAN loose. Deposit as much as (or less) you can loose, and play with it. Don't go martingale or any other 'strategies', it's not going to work. The only strategy is your luck. And the self-control. You can win big from it, but do never play with more than you can afford because you feel lucky.
4536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: August 21, 2016, 06:41:54 AM
I'm always looking for it to happen in my life. But still, I see in dictionaries and from other people. I didn't meet the word in reality.

You don't have to look after it. It comes exactly when you expect it the least. Everytime I was looking for luck, I never found it. Exactly when I didn't expect it, it came and I won! Be sure not to play with more than you can afford. A small mistake and it could go worse than you can imagine.
4537  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 20, 2016, 03:14:19 PM
Go watch the movie Project Almanac and come back here and comment on if you still think changing the past will make a difference in the future. I personally do not think being rich makes any difference. There are a lot of unhappy and lonely rich people in this world. The most positive thing you might get from a time machine, would be the time itself.
I think being healthy and able to do the things we do are one of the biggest treasures we have. Ask anyone dying from Cancer, what they would want the most, and they would say <Give me more time to be healthy>
Being rich is over-rated. ^Happy^

Getting rich isn't even that easy. Most of the rich personalities became wealthy from their parents or families help. The others.. have been either lucky in gambling, had an excellent and successful idea or just scammed and got rich from it.

Being rich does change something. You have what to live off a whole life. However, having a family and being healthy is the key to happiness like you said.
4538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two things are certain: Bitcoin and Taxes on: August 20, 2016, 12:26:53 PM
We all know about the Governments of this world never accepting the idea of anonymity. Through Bitcoin, we can finally be free but it won't take long. I am surprised they didn't take Bitcoin over iet, but I guess they will A.S.A.P.
4539  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: August 20, 2016, 12:24:12 PM
The climate change idea is another great way of marketing. We're now being afraid because 'soon, everything will become hot' yeah, but it's not because of us.

We're accused of pollution because of smoking and driving but they are testing NUCLEAR weapons, they are testing ROCKETS and stuff that we can't pollute as much as them even in a lifetime.

It's changing because they want it to. HAARP - this is not a conspiracy theory anymore. I dom't consider it, because we can see the exact things taking place on our sky every single day of our lives.
4540  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: August 20, 2016, 12:20:23 PM
Does someone has any suggestions how to make 17 BTC with 7 BTC starting capital in short period of time?

No investment is guaranteed to generate you profits in a short time. The only way is gambling, or trading in BTC or in another currency (but it's basically gambling as well).

Trading is absolutely not gambling, it surely has risk as well but not as much as gambling has, and it is proven that trading needs knowledge and experience which gambling has nothing to do with.
Can you find gamblers who can proudly say that they use their experience of knowledge to make profits with it? You cannot.
But you can find a lot of traders who are earning a living with it and that they can proudly say they are traders.

I completely agree. Gambling requires no knowledge and skill in traditional sense, trading does. But the two things that gambling and trading have in common is that for both you need a bit luck and both caries certain amount of risk.
Also, gambling doesn't give us a chance to withdraw the remaining bet amount while in trading, we can cancel our trades if they are in loss and withdraw the remaining amount.

There are higher chances to win while trading as many experts predict the prices correctly and let us know which currency pair to invest on and even it's the case with bitcoin trading where we can get an idea to buy/sell bitcoins which is not possible with gambling. However, many have managed to double or triple their income with gambling.

There are many people who are earning a living with gambling, but its not possible for all as everyone don't have that high level of courage to invest all their money in gambling.

There are many people who are earning a living with gambling, but the proportion of these people are just small number of all the gamblers.

Those people are in general the owners of casinos, that doesnt take any risk and collect their fees, real players able to gamble and live from it at bitcoin are small, maybe 1 person in 100 the ratio.
Doing trading should be safer as well sport bets, but each one has a risk associated to them, to double such ammount without risk its impossible.

Trading is still better in compare to gambling as in trading you hold power to multiply your coins with your knowledge but in gambling it is totally based on luck.

You can make really good profit out of trading. Through gambling, you won't do anything but risk your money. Trading can be done smartly too, although it involves a risk too.
