4521  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My F****** Story With KRYPTONO Exchange on: April 26, 2020, 05:28:19 PM
It's surely a disappointing experience and sorry about that but I have a question how much was TUSD when you have bought them? This is a stable coin and usually, the price of it ranges from $1.01 - $0.97 only.

I've seen on https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/kryptono/ that their bitcoin's price is even cheaper than the recent that we have.

Currently BTC
Binance = $7,661
Kryptono = $6,661

If they keep the price low it's a big red flag because they have to be making money somehow. They cannot do it by selling this low so this has to be a way of attracting victims.
The scam part is probably somewhere in their fees or in lack of liquidity caused by them doing something with customer's money like trading or gambling, which makes them unable to process payouts in time. They don't add coins to your balance for a week because they are using it somehow.
After a few hours, the price pumped a bit for them yet it's still lower than the regular pricing of most exchanges. I also think that they're attracting people to deposit and once they've got someone deposited.

They'll just rinse and repeat the process just like the experience of Alpacino.
4522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any DEX to exchange USDT/DAI/USDC/TUSD to BTC? on: April 26, 2020, 05:03:06 PM
~snip~

As far as I know, there have been lot scam reports about changelly on this forum. So I think it's not anymore an option.
Binance DEX seems to be a good option. But I haven't seen yet any feedback about binance dex. Anyone who used already Binance DEX here? Some feedback?
Ok then, as I've said there's a lot of complaints about them because I can't think of any other option but anyway, cross them out.

I guess that's the final choice you have, the Binance DEX. I have zero experience with them but knowing it's from Binance, they can be good as the other Binance.

4523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: *Whales Alert* 240 million worth Ethereum moved and only $200 paid in fees. on: April 26, 2020, 02:45:59 PM
It might be a matter of transfer for safekeeping purposes. But yes, we should to the perspective about the fees with this transfer. $200 isn't that much for a $240-M transfer.

I remember the huge transfer for bitcoin last time and the fee was much cheaper than this one.

Bitcoin Fees: $300 million worth Bitcoin transferred for 4 cents as fees

4525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: RED BOX TRADING FOREX EXCHANGE scam or real?? on: April 25, 2020, 04:25:19 PM
Is that the channel where their forex exchange happens?

Honestly, when I see those x marks with colors and exclamation points, I don't find it professional. I have no idea with that group but these days, most of these channels are conducting these trades through talks and gathering of investment with their members. But, you can't be sure if they do really trade your money until one day you will realize that the founder just run away with the funds.

It's best for you to avoid this kind of group.
4526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cuba opens its own exchange on: April 25, 2020, 03:30:36 PM
It is a good news indeed for Cuban people but OP, I have something to tell you that you forgot to include the original source of this news.

4527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any DEX to exchange USDT/DAI/USDC/TUSD to BTC? on: April 25, 2020, 02:57:18 PM
DEX currently can only offer coin exchange on their networks, such as Forkdelta, IDEX, etc. Only accept tokens with the ethereum network, and Binance DEX only accept tokens with the Binance Chain network, but if I'm not mistaken in Binance DEX there are BTC pairs but not the original BTC but BTC created by the binance network.
Binance DEX for BTC trading pairs is very limited. If you go to their platform: https://www.binance.org/en/trade you can only see 4 pairs for BTC.

OP, what irman said about DEXs is true. Most of them are only into token pairs that's why you rarely see them pair with BTC. The solution for that problem is to transfer it to another exchange and trade it to bitcoin.

Yes Binance DEX is very limited.
As we see the fiat pairs here
~image~
You would need to have BUSD (which isn't really the best in term decentralization / can be freezed anytime with the backdoor added by PAX Team) and you won#t get btc either.
There is even a lack of solution to move easily between the two largest crypto ecosystems trustlessly (BTC and ETH). Of course, its pretty easy to swap coins within ERC20 ecosystem, but once you want to leave that, problems are starting.

The option to finally go another exchange to trade it to bitcoin makes the complete DEX solution useless.

But now my question, as these DEX would mostly offer kind of wrapped bitcoin to etherum network, is there any solution to swap these coins to BTC trustless? No, I m not talking about flyp.me which tends to keep coins of people and ask them to provide their KYC.
I guess this is a good problem to address to these DEX developers that they should add BTC so that they might gain traction. I'm flying in air thinking about this suggestion but maybe it will work so that they can also be noticed by other traders and investors.

For your question, do you think that changelly can do what you are looking for? There's plenty of complains about them but they don't implement KYC unlike the others before of the same service, shifted to KYC needed compliance.

Even the known DEX before, IDEX, implemented it.

Following this post, I think a suitable way to swap these stablecoins would be to swap your assets to BNB and from BNB to BTC with Binance DEX. Better suggestion?
I can't think of any other strategy but this is what I'm telling you as the solution but you don't have to get out of Binance DEX. Since it's the Binance DEX, pair all trades with BNB then in the end trade it all for BTC.
4528  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your thought during ECQ on: April 25, 2020, 02:07:43 PM
It's a global issue thus it's called pandemic. I think you are confused about the virus itself and the micro chip implanted in our bodies, this is my opinion.

We don't know if the virus is man-made or not, there will be certain agencies that will deal on this matter once the world is totally covid-19 free. And for the chip thing, that's about the identification that's been on the news even before this pandemic. The RFID was already being used by some countries specifically for cars and licenses, etc.

Implanting a chip in a person's body is not the vaccine.

Don't be confused with that.

I don't think a nanochip (this is possible from my point of view) will be integrated to this vaccine. Also, not only one pharma company is developing this vaccine, there are a lot actually. And all of them are in the race who will finally develop an effective vaccine. After this research and testing, I don't think only one company will produce the vaccine that will cater the global population. So including nanochip I think is not their goal here. It is for the humanity and not any conspiracy theory about it.
Yes.

It's like a competition for the developers of the potential vaccine because the first one will get recognition and praises all around the globe. Thus, they'll also get a sure market that will be bought by most affected countries by this virus.

I've heard of this chip thing as a conspiracy but let's remove the confusion that it's not really part of the vaccine. Unless, we see it with our naked eyes.
4529  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are this kind of satoshi surveys legit? on: April 25, 2020, 01:29:13 PM
And according to surveys, they usually ask about your personal information... like how old are you, what's your gender, what's your status, how much your salaries every month etc. I don't know why, when I completing the survey in this site...
This is already a KYC style of requirement for them. Asking the survey participant with those personal information means that they are mining the data of their users. But this means that you have answered those questions?

Anyway, if these sites ask for KYC in order to get paid, don't submit any info for your own safety. Your identity is obviously not worth a few sats. If they ask you to install something on your device, use a virtual machine and uninstall the app immediately after the reward is claimed.
Take this suggestion guys if you will use such sites.

Bitcoin predictions and speculations.

Speculation

The famous thread of Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion is also a good thread to follow.

Whilst for Altcoins.

We have the Speculation (Altcoins).

This wall observer thread is the longest yet updated thread in bitcointalk but those who forecast still posts here.  This must be what OP is looking for.

Even after learning myself some indicators I still check the thread if there is someone who also sees how I see the data. You'd thread the thread like a guide or like a second opinion.
Yes, whenever there's a movement of the price. I look there quickly and read the posts there although it's quickly being covered by new posts but it's worth it to follow and read information there.

For sure the others are silently reading and following the known thread.
4532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Masterbating 2.0 Emails, don’t fall for the trap. on: April 24, 2020, 03:32:14 AM
If anyone is wondering how much money these cyber criminals are making? You will be surprised: Porn scammers making $100,000 a month from sextortion emails and
Following the money in a massive “sextortion” spam scheme
.
It's just a matter of time and these criminals will be earning nothing soon. When the knowledge about this scam gets broader and those past victims will know how these scammers do it, they won't be a victim anymore.

Thanks so much for the tip, right now, it's true, believe me, my uncle call me on phone and ask me what to do because he received some e-mail asking for BTC and shows the right password that he uses
He was desperate, but I remembered this thread and translated to him, so it was very useful information my friend
You helped a person from Brazil  Wink
You should also give your uncle a tip that don't sign his email up in websites that he don't know or unnecessary.

I don't know much with this Minereum but it seems that the people who are answering you know what they are saying, like this guy below.

Guy just move on, that Minereum is ponzi, you have to upgrade your address to level 3 that making a deposit of 0.3eth to be able to sell that 32000 tokens and the fact is I'm not so sure you will get anything in return after you send out the 0.3eth

Seems that amount is just a false hope for you op.
4535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Staking? on: April 23, 2020, 03:04:21 PM
Upcoming ETH 2.0 is a DpoS consensus as well.
The test network is already rolling. I'm more interested in this progress than the EOS because I don't EOS. As for the test network, it's said that there's already 20k validators. Just think of it, how many of it are supporting the consensus as it starts.

If this will continue and it starts rolling and changed permanently, are you ready to stake with the minimum ETH required? It's really a good passive income if you're part of it.

4537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most profitable masternode coin to invest right now? on: April 22, 2020, 05:53:50 AM
I'll avoid those low volume and showing high return coins.

Zcoin and Phore could be your next choice but the investment needed is also that much but unlike Dash, it's not going 5 digits.

Yeah. There are so many high-risk, high-reward masternode coins out there on the market. Most of them are inactive in development and innovation. Only a few are active in development, with a low-reward mechanism. I'd prefer to deal with coins of this type because they tend to survive on the market for a very long time. Zcoin and Phore are very interesting, although relatively expensive to get the collateral for a masternode. Still, they're not as expensive as DASH is today. Zcoin tends to be very undervalued nowadays, considering that it's been the pioneer of Zero-Knowledge Proofs (Zerocoin came first than Zerocash). I believe that it's better than its rival Zcash, with all of the features it provides. But I guess that people are focused on market cap rankings and hype than anything else.

All in all, I hope that investing in these masternode coins will be worth doing so for the long term. As long as they're adopted by the mainstream world, there should be nothing to worry about. Cheesy
Getting a Dash masternode is one of my dream but it's already accepted that I'll never have it. That's why the other that you can dive in have the potential but still depends on your goal and how you see them but at least, they are not like those inactive MNs.

There's still risk with those coins but as long as they maintain themselves having a community and support, I think they can maintain.
4538  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HighBi Exchange on: April 22, 2020, 05:04:13 AM
Thanks for that I am very careful with my cash but are interested in Cryptocurrency. So will only invest in reputable exchanges and currencies. Just wanna warn my friend this site could be a scam. It looks very sophisticated however and professional, but this must be the lengths some of these scams can go to to gain money off people
Yes, do it and warn them immediately.

If you land to an exchange make sure that you will commit minutes of your time searching for the reviews. It's easy to distinguish them these days because information is just a click away and you can easily determine them.

Few examples of good exchanges.

  • Binance
  • Kucoin
  • Kraken

There's more of them but I've just listed few and those who came to my mind quickly.
4539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Find best rates in your country on: April 22, 2020, 04:20:44 AM
not bad, it seems that the translate function is still a bit of a problem because when I try to translate to English, the language on the website is still brazil, maybe if it's fixed it looks good enough.
I've waited for a few seconds until it was translated completely.

There's also one website that I know but they gather more monitoring for different websites. I think you have to work a lot for it because your website has a few exchanges to monitor for the price.

4540  Economy / Economics / Re: Stimulus package drop in coinbase on: April 22, 2020, 03:46:03 AM
Whether there's a ton of stimulus coming into Coinbase, look at the prices.

There's no actual boost that happened and in fact, a dip appeared. That really can't tell that the bull run has started, what if we've seen the actual bull run last year and we are on the cycle of bear market again? I don't know..

But the deposits shown to the graph has dropped already. There a small impact but it didn't last.

We may not see immediate bull for now because the fear is still on but with time, the stimulus relief will later reflect with time. Surely investment will start growing since the 1,200 has being released to the citizen's account or coinbase.
Bull run comes gradually but there were times that it has surprisingly buffed bitcoin. I agree with you that it may not reflect this time but there will be the time that we will see the effect of it.

That stimulus package from the US government will contribute to the market but there's more to it. CMIIW, there will be the other batches coming soon because the expected amount for beneficiaries is higher than that.
