To determine the prices, you can't do that with just your brain alone. You need some fud, hype and emotion and the reason is the market is not regulated. Unregulated market needs hype and big buyers to move the market either for bull or bear at this is exactly what is going on. Elon musk has alot of twitter followers and that is easily changing the face of the market at any point he makes a tweet. We can't hate that alot but to be careful.

It's rise and fall. I studied the chart to realise that this dispensasion is different in performance for both rise and fall, bottom and top. The halving is shooting progress for bitcoin because it performance is better compared to last halving and because it also introduced institutional investors who are hodling despite fud.

Looking at this two columns, I believe that the entering of institutional traders have helped the last two years to high adoption rate and I don't expect a fall as the rate it happened anyways in 2018.

And that will become one important way to becoming rich as @ OP is regretting.

Getting to understand the blockchain is giving direction on line of investment so that when a project is out, you can easily know the purpose it is coming to fulfill because every project is out to do a purpose. Therefore the people who have made riches from cryptocurrency or any other aspect of live may not have done that with a stroke of luck but by hard work and hard work is not by procrastination but by getting into active action to back up the desire to be rich.

So referring to OP you don't need to express regret because you need to understand the system and follow the rules to every aspect of life. If you understand blockchain, then you can also make a good choice of coins to invest because it will mostly grow faster.

Scarcity is not an issue created in vacuum but it is created by humans and especially those in government. The government has all it takes to create a well developed supply chain but because they lack proper planning (especially less developed countries), then scarcity will be created. For example, when talking about demand and supply, you need good roads, proper communication levels or good internet connection. All these are important to get supplies down to final consumer. As to the cryptocurrency, it has taken the advantage of modern life. The digital is creating a good value chain through the blockchain and it makes life easier.

This is also a reason that it can just be at the control of one person or family which is known as oligarchy that is going to be government by few. Fiat that is controlled is highly corrupting the system of the world. Regulation of fiat is the evil that is bedevil the whole of the place. Most people in government put this money back in their houses and not use it judiciously to help the needy.
Comparing this with cryptocurrency, you see that people are making more money and riches in this time unlike the past when fiat was only known to be the source of income. Young people get rich because they are investing widely, wisely and allowing their money invested in cryptocurrency to work for them.

Many coins have risen high and youths who have taken advantage because of good vision are all doing good and reinvesting more in cryptocurrency.

But whether anybody follows his announcement or not, you can see what he says happening, so how does that happen  You have to understand that he is influencial with alot of money to buy hugely or sell hugely and that most affect the unregulated market. Crypto market isn't regulated and that is why any influencial personality with lots of followers on twitter can change the market direct. For fiat that is highly monitored, you can't move even your deposit anyhow hugely without the government tracing to see the legality of the money. You see, the difference.... Elon is enjoying his time and I have read he may be hyping dogecoin harder. So you may as well hodl your doge if you have. Lol

Elon musk seem to be enjoying his life and catching fun with it. What is he up to again after tweeting Tesla won't accept bitcoin as payment.

Musk seem to be riding the market the way he likes. I'm sure he knows that would create panic and push price down.

Will musk always have a big influence to the direction of price in cryptocurrency.

He has been responding for dogecoin hype and growth , now he is trying to cause panic in price of bitcoin and that has bleeding the market since 24hours.

I consider it as pump and dump project. You have to invest in risk and don't care whatever the outcome will be. Sure it will pump but when to dump you can't tell. Investors take their opportunity and they maybe faster than you know while dumping.

You can expect more drop for IOTA in the future because the hype for it has settled down and investors are moving towards coins that creates more volume. The price selling around $1.80 from ATH of $5+ , that shows some loss of interest there. I would invest in coins like polkadot, BnB .

I checked the price of bitcoin yesterday and it was trading at $56k and waking up today to check the price has dropped to $50k and with that you see the speed of change in bitcoin, although such change is both for increase and for decrease, it is then depends on you about the kind of risk you desire to take. Bitcoin is decentralised and not controlled, many investors like it as that but gold isn't that volatile and you could either have some information about it before a major slide.

This point is valid, many have made profit since last year when bitcoin started rising. Coins that are newly listed have pumped and lucky hodlers have cashed out and some still hodling. This is a new way that most investors are gaining quick profit while hodling longtime for valuable coins like bitcoin and ethereum.

I think if you are able to open your wallet with your phrase and password to recover it, it means you still have access to the wallet and your coins should be found there but except you have already compromised your phrase maybe unknowingly and someone had access to it, then that is the issue if the person has moved your coins.

Dogecoin has risen not only because people buy it to hodl but it is also traded that is why it has grown in volume of trade and value in price. Apart from Elon musk tweets , I think the community is beginning to build interest with doge and such interest is meaning buying, exchanging or trading it against other coins. Certainly it should be traded, used for transactions of buying and selling which will cause volume and price to rise.

This time has been predicted to be different from the 2017 market season because the system has changed from a mono investing market to a more open market that big buyers are also playing on. So you won't expect that kind of slump where bitcoin came down from $20,000 to below $4,000. Don't be surprised that many pending buys are just below the current price maybe at $50,000 or within the range. I would hodl more valuable project.

Don't you think dogecoin is now here to stay

After about 9 years that it was developed it has eventually turned many lucky or enthusiastic hodlers into millionaires and billionaires, you can check the internet on that. After it was taunted by many with different names.

The coin has raisen with over 1,000% since the beginning of the year and after the man who called himself Dogefather (Elon musk) appeared on the SNL, it dropped from its ATH of around  $0.72 to $0.51, $0.50 and that is because bitcoin also has dropped which signifies that as the number 4 position, it is now flowing with the tides of the market because it is highly traded also.


This is a good sign that it has started adding up in the crypto scheme of things because unlike in the past, it doesn't follow the line of altcoins drop or rise but now at the number 4 position, it has been queued in the rise and fall of bitcoin which is a good sign.

Some reasons for more dogecoin bull

1. It is now flowing with the rise and fall of bitcoin or volatility. This unlike in the past, when dogecoin was far below in the cadre, the crypto scheme of things never included it. Movement of bitcoin or ethereum were not really showing on dogecoin as such.

2. It is in the number 4 position and this means it is now in the eyes of hitherto investors who don't see it before now because it was far down in position.

3. It is listed in almost all the exchanges that popular coins like bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, litecoin and more are listed. So it is easy to be included in portfolios.

4. The high transaction fees of bitcoin and ethereum that has made coins like bnb, bsc, usdt popular will also increase the bull of dogecoin because it is cheap and fast.

I haven't bought anything tangible yet except for altcoins. Reinvesting bitcoin into other altcoins maybe the best futuristic experience we may have. The reason is when the worth of bitcoin we spend in buying the commodity or goods increase in the next few years, the feeling of regret may show up like the pizza story now at a worth of $600 million lol. I think buying altcoins is what I can go for now.
