Staying firm to the decision you have taken should do the trick, sure you might alter your trades at times and come out successfully some times but that's not a guarantee you can carry-out such alterations simultaneously and be profitable all the times. Doing so also means you didn't carry-out your TA perfectly and would start making you loss confidence in yourself. The market is under the influence of manipulators, the whales know their games can trick gullible traders to falling victims to their games so they do this occasionally. You just have to stick to you plans and if they don't play out as you have expected you work on yourself in improving your chart reading skills/interpretation. |

Many people lost their portfolio because of lack of market structure. Not every dip or rally you jump into. These is my view why many lost during this Bitcoin decline.
Fear is the major reason, the amount of fud circulating the market is too much for some investors to handle especially those that are new to the game either because they fomoed into investing in bitcoin or they're not mentally capable of handling the pressure the market presents. They simply want to take the easy way out the very moment they faced such challenges and that's done by letting go of the coins the currently hold. Bitcoin volatility is also very high, you can see the amount of billions the market losses within minutes of a crash. Those billions are combination of investors funds and some have their in thousands of dollars. That's huge loss to handle and only those with experience can handle such loss without doing something out of panic. |

It depends on what your investment strategy is and holding timeframe, if you're investing for the future, that's you don't have any intentions to sell anytime soon then it doesn't really matter what price you buy provided you'll be holding all through the years to come. There's every possiblity bitcoin would be trading far above the trading price for today in 5-10 years time. Therefore if I'm planning to be a long term investors I won't mind buying even though the price has increase by some percentage. Where the challenge will be is avoiding the media with all their manipulative fuds as it can influence your decision. That can be done by avoiding articles or discuss that involve the price of bitcoin and just hold unto your coins. |

It's up to you whatever you see fit as long as you wouldn't regret on your decision, honestly you should not be seeking advice to the forum many people might give you bad advice you should really think first before following other's advice.
Exactly and not just because the idea would be bad but some idea aren't meant for everyone. Like they can be saying the right thing but for that particular user it meant not be the best decision for him at that very moment. A perfect example is in a scenario when you advice someone to hold but that users isn't high on cash and meant get tempted to sell when he needs cash but by then the price would be trading below his target sell price. Everything boils down to what the users needs cash for at th very moment he weeks for the advice, if you are selling because you need asome cash then your decision can be understandable but if you're selling because you want to outsmart the market and buy low, it's better you just hold as the bull market is very unpredictable. It's a shame to see so many people buying Ethereum for 1300$ this year, its crazy you know, where are you guys when Ethereum was 150$ in 2020? Oh, you probably still doubting about what if, isn't it? Where were you when bitcoin was 3600$  Some people have already make 30x from different altcoins that you are now looking for because they understand how crypto works, buy low and sell high, that's the rules of the real crypto hunters. Now I'm just fearful because others are been greedy. Don't be too harsh on the new comers don't forget if there aren't any new comer to buy your coins off you then they become worthless and starts decreasing in value. Don't misinterpret my statement in a ponzi scheme view but that's just the fact and isn't just for crypto alone. All assets needs news comers to keep it's value high although this isn't the only factor like in cases of ponzi scheme and that's what differentiate both investment. With your statement, it seems you bought at those value you highlighted, well if that's the case then congrats and not rub it on others faces. Don't forget their are users that bought well early than you did. Now imagine those investors rubbing it at your face. |

Bitcoin (BTC) continues to be stagnant at $32k giving time for some alts to recover at a certain level where they can compete like Polkadot (DOT) and Chainlink (LINK). Ethereum (ETH) still on its streak of going up maybe going after an all new ATH. But the real competition starts with top 4 to 10 giving them more chance to gain resistance at this stagnant market. What are you guys trading today? Not trading any of your highlighted coins at the moment, I got some Ethereum but that's strictly in my holding wallet. Ethereum is currently been undervalued, it should be worth more than wihat it's currently trading at. Ethereum should be valued above $4k to $5k by now. It has all the fundamentals and backings to be worth that much. The previous bull run saw Ethereum trading a $1.4+k and bitcoin at $20k but this season the difference is quite much. Ethereum still has room for growth so don't be surprised if it ends this bullrun trading close to those value I listed above or even more. The market so far has been very promising and expectant but the coin that surprised me the most was $dot coin, I didn't expect it to spike as it has done. It's still very risky though, we all know how they all ended (I'm speaking about the so called ethereum killers). |

Quite true but do realize this other method has very high risk associated with them. With trading, you risk losing your coins when you want to outsmart the market and yours gains when you sell too early, missing out on future profits. Mining has high cost associated with it. Not every can afford the mining equipment but I'm sure most users can afford the minimum amount needed in most project to partake in her staking activity. I'll prefer staking over mining although I think as enthusiast we should embrace both. While the bullish market isn't favorable to staking per se, you can still take advantage of the bearish season to accumulate as many coins as possible then stake them. Staking are for bearish season, it helps scare off the pressure of selling your coins if they're dumping. |

By now we all should know this youtubers care only about their traffic, they will do anything possible just to get as many viewers they can reach. The bullrun is one of their most favorable season to get this viewers. Investors are all over the web searching for possible method to profit in the less risky way possible so they make use of clickbit to attract them.
There's no way you make a sell without selling your bitcoin in the market. Be very careful of whatever project they shiilntg to you as they're getting paid to promote most of the content they display on their channel. If you're confused best you hold until your investment instead of selling and regret that decision later.
I bet the youtuber will require you guys to pay before he let the secret out and if he finally does you'll realize it wasn't what the price you paid. Abstract from such channel and focus on developing yourself in the industry.

The reason why DeFi are benefiting mainly from the altcoins pumps is because they were the just hyped trends before bitcoin dominance crashed everything. For months now, the focus has just beenon bitcoin and it seems the heat of bitcoin is beginning to slow down. So obviously it's idea the DeFi alternative coins has to begin from where they stopped.
If you're to shift you attention to alts to ride the wave coming (altseason) then defi has to be your target technology because they'll be having more attention. You can see from the highest gainers that DeFi projects are topping the charts. Coins like Sushi and Uni are doing quite well for themselves and soon other defi project will follow.
The trend won't last long though so our investment should be very strategic, seize the opportunity and take/secure profits when the opportunity presents itself.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.
Firstly you don't need this sites to determine when you're to sell or buy an assets you picked interest in investing in. What you need is discipline, you have to program your mind to stop listening to what the media have to say, they'll always follow the trend inorder to stay relevant. If the Market is showing bearish signs then they're bearish and start publicising article that spread fud. Selling of your bitcoin should be your own decisions and not because anyone says you should sell. Also for starters if you're having second thoughts when you intend selling then don't sell. Are you in need of the cash of urgent, if no then keep to your coins as they should be considered investment vehicle. The market currently might be showing some bearish trend but that doesn't change the fact that this year is going to be bullish for bitcoin and you'll regret getting rid of your bitcoin if that was to be your final decision. |

It's peer2peer currency when been used right, the idea behind bitcoin decentralized had nothing to do with 3rd party service providers like the banks. They're forcing their ways into the industry. When mr A buys bitcoin from mr B and the transaction is been executed without any other party knowing what the transaction was for, that's decentralization. In transactions like this they're no middle man, don't confuse the banks you used as a payment service to be middle man instead they're only involves as a means of payment. If the transaction were excuted face to face then you'll understand why the banks in the scenario aren't middle man. They only have the power when they serve as escrow to the transaction. With this they'll be aware what the funds passing through then are been used for. |

Don't be surprised if they had all this planned out. They reported the news exactly how they wanted but their intentions weren't successful since it didn't have any impact on the market. It's no news the big news firms are taking advantage of their wide range of audiences to try manipulating the market. This isn't the first attempt from this particular news media and surely won't be the last. The reaction from the market proven the market is steadily coming off age, it's maturity is becoming stronger as the days goes by and soon the small fuds affecting the price movement of the market won't have much impact anymore. |

This seems to be the thread these days...regrets, lost passwords and keys. Funny how people who thought bitcoin was trash have realized how wrong they were. I personally regret selling at $20k.
It's a common trend of regrets coming out when an assest is doing quite well for itself. Most are manipulated and aren't actually event that happens but just attention seekers although that doesn't mean there aren't legit regret out there. If the market is to dumped too you'll still see regret of users not selling at the peak. You selling at $20k wasn't not that bad if you bought at lesser price, the ideas of trades is to profit so the moment you see profits you should secured it. I understand the price is currently trading above your sell price but don't be too harsh on yourself probably the market will present opportunity for you to re-enter the market below $20k. |

It's just a risk worth taking. There's a flaw in the current banking system and only the elite are able to profit of the masses. Probably bitcoin meant not be the global currency but it's worth giving a try. It offer alternative that are privacy friendly unlike what we have with the banking system. Nobody will intentions want to close the doors to where they profit from and that's exactly what the bankers are doing. You don't expect them to advice investing in a technology that's take them out of business. The decentralized mode of operation is what the bankers are afraid off since they'll lose control over the finance of the masses. The suggestions isn't deferent from what the enthusiast before me has stated. Invest with only what you'll be comfortable losing so you won't get depressed if that's to be the outcome of trend bit that's very unlikely to happen. |

I honestly don't think it gave out a negative impact, it's a cryptocurrency after all and because of Bitcoin being accessed virtually is a strong factor that COVID cannot touch Bitcoin and the activities, as a matter of fact, the ATH of Bitcoin reached $40k during the pandemic, which means if the vaccine becomes possible, more activities and more opportunities for people to start investing and make a move, which only means that Bitcoin could possible become stronger, although the price may seem to have a drop, I am positive that the next run is near.
There's another school of thought, bitcoin only profited because the whole economy was in an unstable state and investors where looking for alternative source of income which bitcoin has to be the best or only option available which is why it was receiving the level of attention it was getting. Let imagine a 2020 without Covid19, there's every possible the market won't have growned this much. That bitcoin was successful in the pandemic doesn't automatically means it'll do well in a stable economy per se. Investors will go back to their traditional means of investing that's more safe to them. Precious metals, stocks, bond and the forex market will start booming again. This will then have a short term negative effects on the market, although on a long term scales the market is always bullish and none of the short term fuds should distract you from investing for the future. |
