Today, I was really delighted to watch the Austrian GP. Max Verstappen was incredibly good from the start to the end.

Starting was very important for both Verstappen and Hamilton. It was a long straight and I was wondering whether Hamilton would overtake Verstappen there. But Verstappen defended very well and didn't give any space to him. After that, Hamilton was never able to get even near him. At the end, the team realized that he wasn't going to be able to catch Verstappen and they went for the fastest lap. And Hamilton had the fastest lap at the end. That is very valuable extra one point for him. It is crucial for the title competition.

It is still early to say but Belgium are getting closer to a win by one goal just as I expected.    But I would expect a score like 2-1 or 3-2 in a game like this. Belgium have only one shot on goal and it ended up with a goal. Now, Portugal are trying whatever they can to equalize the score. Belgium are just focusing on defending them well and trying to make use of quick counter-attacks.

I don't see Portugal as eager to win as in the game against France. Maybe they can bring the score to 1-1. But still, Belgium can defeat them.

I also was very surprised to see Lyon letting him go on a free transfer. Depay was one of their most valuable and important players. Maybe there was some kind of an in-team problem and he didn't want to extend his contract. Or maybe he wanted to go to a better team than Lyon. In the end, he can achieve better things at Barcelona rather than Lyon.

When it comes to Griezmann, I think that he was much better while he was playing at Atletico Madrid. I'd like to see him there again playing beside Luis Suarez. They'd be much more powerful.

In one hour, Clippers - Suns game is going to start. The series is 2-1 now. At Clippers, Marc. Morris may not play due to a knee injury. He couldn't play much good in the series so far. So I think that it won't affect the perfomance of the team much also. I think it is time for Clippers to equalize the series. But I feel like their job won't be easy this time. I expect a solid performance from Suns too. But at the end, I believe that Clippers will win the game by less than 10 points.

Clippers finally won a game in the series and it is 2-1 now. People were saying like C. Paul's return in this game would help Suns incredibly good. It turns out that it wasn't the case last night. Ayton - Booker - Paul trio all didn't have an impressive statistics. They missed a lot of shots. P. George was in fine feather and made a double-double (27 PTS, 15 REB). It was nearly a triple-double if he had 2 more assists. This was Paul's first game after he got rid of coronavirus. So I think that he will show a much better performance in the next game. Clippers should be ready for him.

It is time to have some action tomorrow. We have two games: Wales - Denmark and Italy - Austria.

Wales - Denmark: I can't say that Wales were really good in the group stages. Turkey's poor performance against them helped really much to qualify for this round. Otherwise, Wales don't play that good I think. But Denmark really impressed me in their group games. Eriksen's heart problem has been a big motivation for them to play better against their opponents. They were incredible against Russia the last time. I think that they have a so big chance against Wales also. I expect Denmark to be the winner of this round by one goal at least.

Italy - Austria: I'm not going to talk about this draw too much. Because it is very clear that Austria have near zero chance against Italy. Because they are one of the biggest favorites to win the title as well. Italy have a really good football discipline. I think that they won't have much problem on eliminating their opponent.

Actually, Manchester City are thinking of making an offer for Haaland this summer also. They will most probably be in a big competition against some other big clubs. For example, it is said that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also after him. On the other hand, Dortmund are not very willing to let him go also.

If Manchester City sign Kane this summer, Tottenham will most probably get G. Jesus in return. If this doesn't happen they will keep their hopes up about Haaland. If it doesn't happen also, then I wonder if Manchester City will still make a top striker transfer this summer.

Now Barcelona have Memphis Depay on a free transfer and he will arrive on July 1. He had a really decent season at Lyon in the last season. His main position is centre-forward. But he can also play on the left wing and as an attacking midfielder. He scored 12 goals and made 12 assists in the games he played as CF (28 games). He scored 6 goals in 9 games as left-winger. And he scored 4 goals in 3 games as attacking midfielder. So, this means that he is very productive on all of these positions. If Koeman still wants to play with the same formation, then I guess he won't change Griezmann - Messi duo. Then, I guess that Depay would play as left winger or attacking midfielder mostly. When Griezmann is out of form, I've no doubt that he will get a chance as CF also.

If were in Sterling or Mahrez's place, I would definitely not even think of going to Arsenal. Maybe they can offer better a contract for both of these players. But Arsenal have been a loser team for a long time. Either Sterling or Mahrez, wouldn't like to leave a winner team like Manchester City, in my opinion. Let's see what they will choose. Will they choose money or power?

I heard some news like Manchester City would be willing to wait for Kane for even one more year if necessary. Because Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy still wants a great deal of money for him. It is around £150m. And Kane doesn't seem like he will be interested in his probable transfer to a team before Euro 2020 ends for him. I hope that Kane doesn't get stuck at Tottenham in the next season again. He should already have left the team already in one of the previous seasons. He also doesn't see his future here anymore.

According to this source, Bayern are planning to extend Niklas Süle's contract to cut Chelsea's interest in him. The 25-year-old centre-back, has been playing at Bayern Munich for 4 seasons. In the last season he played in 20 games in the Bundesliga and scored 1 goal. His market value is actually not that high, €35m. But Bayern don't seem like they are willing to let him go. And I assume that Süle is comfortable about playing at Bayern. But Chelsea may have drawn his attention after the Champions League title. 

Honestly, I really like Georginio Wijnaldum. He is absolutely a talented midfielder. But he has started to get old from now on. He is 30 now. I'm not sure that he can contribute to the team nicely for a few years. There are players like Verratti (28), Rafinha (28) and Herrera (31) who can play on the same position with Wijnaldum. I guess that there will be a tough rivalry between them for the starting eleven. If I were PSG's manager, I would prefer Verratti - Rafinha - Wijnaldum trio if we think their tactic will be 4-3-3.

We saw a great game between Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks last night. The result was really surprising to me. I was expecting Bucks to crush Hawks in the first leg. Giannis and J. Holiday were actually very good. Both of them made a double-double and Giannis was the most scorer of the team as usual.    But there was a really big threat against them: Trae Young. This guy's performance was just insane! He scored 48 points which was very crucial for the win. Hawks got what they wanted for sure. Now, Bucks will be even more under pressure. They should win at least one game before losing the court advantage.

By the way, some people were saying long time ago that Trae Young was overrated. Look what level he is at right now. 

In the last 16 round, the most exciting draws will be Belgium - Portugal and England - Germany, I think.

Belgium have promoted as the leader and they won all of their games in their group. I really liked their big effort. Kevin De Bruyne is really a game changer. In the Denmark - Belgium game, he entered the game in the early second half. He scored 1 goal and made 1 assist. He is their most important player in this draw too. I can't also overlook Lukaku's great performance. He has been just a beast. Defenders have really hard time preventing him. His contribution also has been quite big so far. Portugal were nearly being eliminated in the group stage already. Thanks to Germany, they have managed to promote. Ronaldo was really good against France by not missing any of the penalties. In this draw, I see Belgium as one step ahead. It won't be easy though but they can beat Portugal by one goal.

I can't say that England were so awesome. They had 2 wins and 1 draw in the group stage, yeah. But they didn't win those games easily. And they had a hard time against Scotland. They seemed like they didn't care too much. But in this round, I expect them to play way more serious. Germany had really interesting games. France didn't make them play properly. But in the second game, there were a totally different Germany. They just destroyed Portugal 4-2. But in the last game, they were having serious problems again. They were so close to losing to Hungary and say goodbye to the tournament. In this draw, my favourite team are England. I think they can win against the unstable Germany.

I don't call it as "big summer signing" if he really returns to Real Madrid. Because I think that he is not that good anymore. Real Madrid should go for better midfielders in my opinion.

You may be right. Maybe Jadon Sancho won't ever reach Messi or Ronaldo's level like the examples you've given. But still he is a very talented player as you also said. Manchester Utd wouldn't like to miss this chance while there is a possibility to sign him. On the other hand, if they sign Sancho for an incredible amount of money, I wonder whether they would have the adequate financial power to make an offer for Haaland also.

By having all of the important players as fit, I also think that they will have a much better season than before and make people forget about the last season. Liverpool have one of the best lineups in the EPL normally. They just struggled with injuries too much and it affected the players mentally too.

I don't know what's happened to Turkey really. They were incredibly good in the Euro 2020 Qualifiers. But suddenly, they started playing like they didn't even care. If they put a much greater effort than this, I was sure that they were going to promote to the playoffs as the 2nd in the worst case.
