4541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin current situation on: April 10, 2020, 12:46:46 PM
I have seen the story of a man who invested his loan in Bitcoin and then the money grew to a huge amount and he withdrew and paid back the loan and still had more than twice of the amount left. So, bitcoin has helped many people and in current situation who are able to withstand may enjoy more fruitful returns just for holding bitcoin in harder times as well.

For me, I would say that it was just luck that was on his side, this might not be the same story as everyone , there are people who might try it, which I know there are, and they will end up losing their money, so it’s by luck. I wouldn’t take such a risk, I would prefer to go from little to something than to be rushing things, because if should lose a huge amount it’s going to frustrate me so much.
4542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what way can the crypto world help fight against Covid 19? on: April 09, 2020, 07:22:16 PM
Recently, TokenPocket has hosted a WeWearMask event to call on the community's joint effort in the fight against the Corona virus.
https://twitter.com/TokenPocket_TP/status/1246791435103293441
The participants will be prized with a  total of $2,300 and more. I think this is a good move to set up an example of how the crypto world can help to stop the virus. More projects should be doing this as well.
They do have a good idea with their campaign. With this campaign they will be able to create more and more awareness for people to start wearing masks and stay safe. Apart from this kind of campaign, the cryptocurrency community can as well be making donations to support the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak.

There are some charity organizations like red cross that are legit that are accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, would be a good idea if a lot of people donates to these charity organizations using bitcoin, and that way they will get to know that the cryptocurrency community are out to help, and such will help to even get cryptocurrency to be more recognized.
4543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving from erc20 tokens to Bitcoin on: April 09, 2020, 05:03:44 PM
If you guys really want to move from the tokens to bitcoin directly, the best case is always using CMC to check which exchanges they are listed or the website of that token to see where they are listed, that will show it, plus you should also find the place with the highest volume plus liquidity so that you would not ruin the entire market and can sell decently without dropping the price.

However do not forget that this token was given to you for a reason, if you purchased it or bought it that is another topic, but if you "earned" it somehow, that was given to you for no money at all, whatever you end up selling even if you get 10 bucks in return that is almost free money (of course you spend your time for it) which means it may really not worth as much as you expect because there are many people like you which will sell as well.
4544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto currency ready for next season??? on: April 07, 2020, 08:36:06 PM
Well ALL the world is in verge of economic crisis, so there is not really that much we can do to trigger the bull run immediately. I don't know about how long world economical crisis situation may last, but I know that the whole world is living the same thing as each other, look at USA there is over 300k people infected right now, that is seriously a lot, even at the rate it is going right now we are going to see half the population infected one way or another, probably will have a cure and human immune system will be ready for it by that time but it is scary to think how fast it is going right now.

Wherever you are living right now, doesn't even matter if you have corona or not in your nation, you WILL be affected in economy, it may take longer or it could be quicker but you will see the consequences.
4545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 07, 2020, 07:25:20 PM
USDT is not really a "coin" the idea that they have is its basically a "tether" as in it is representing something and not really a thing itself. Bitcoin is a coin and ethereum is a coin all because they are something of their own without really being relying into anything else, USDT is not because it is basically a representation of US dollar, which is why it is widely accepted as 1 USDT equals to 1 USD itself.

I don't understand how they managed to make sure that people actually accept that, I mean there were plenty of other business with that mind that didn't worked, but for some reason this actually worked out quite fine without a trouble. I really hope that people would finally see USDT for what it is and the company behind it because I do not trust them, why would I trust someone saying 1 usdt equals 1 usd when in reality we know that it is not backed 1to1 ratio? I don't.
4546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 07, 2020, 06:13:47 PM
Well, they do have some sort of advantage honestly because they are literally the bridge between crypto world and fiat world. Think about any seller, they are working for fiat usually, they have a shop or a cafe or a grocery store whatever you can think of, if they accept bitcoin they may get richer due to volatility or they may get poorer, they can't risk their whole income on it so many of them do not start accepting bitcoin right away, however if you offer them an option to use USDT instead, and accept bitcoin which can be turned into USDT automatically and can than be withdrawn to fiat whenever they want, they may start to see it as an option to get more and more customers from the crypto world as well. It is definitely going to be a huge part of crypto world for sure.
4547  Economy / Speculation / Re: With Effect On global economy, will Covid 19 affect expected Bitcoin Halving? on: April 07, 2020, 05:01:37 PM
It is not really that much shocking to think bitcoin halving may not be affected because lets face it by the time bitcoin halving happens this corona virus thing will be basically getting smaller and smaller and also the financial world is getting better and better even right now, by the time halving happens financial world basically be not only recover but look ahead like nothing happened.

I know it sounds crazy to think like that and I would have said the same thing if I didn't checked the stock markets and the companies profits and also crypto prices as well, everything looks like nothing has happened so far and that is shocking to me but if that situation is like that then it shouldn't matter to halving as well. At least that is what I am assuming but maybe I am wrong I don't know.
4548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall on: April 07, 2020, 08:28:51 AM
This looks like just the start of a big bull run. I mean $7k was a psychological war for us and we managed to break over it, which means there will be even more people who will see bitcoin as a good investment from now on and that is why there will be more people buying and more price increases.

Of course this may not happen if the sellers starts pressuring again, when you have a lot of buyers and a lot of people wants to see it high, only one thing stops it, people who have bitcoin that normally do not sell under $7k but willing to sell over $7k, those people who sell will be the decisive factor in this time, if they are not big in numbers we will continue to surge, if there are tons of them then we will see bitcoin trying to go up but fail and fall because of it.
4549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering on: April 07, 2020, 07:57:00 AM
Do not forget that economical crisis haven't happened just yet, it just started but everything recovered like bitcoin, so we are still going to see a big drop in price for everything. Or maybe we won't but it feels like it is impossible for the whole world to stay at home and somehow all prices stay the same, there must be some sort of crisis due to people staying at home and not spending any money at all.

Hopefully nothing too severe or too bad but think about it, millions of people, probably hundreds of millions of people are all staying at home and we have to believe that market wasn't really affected by it? No matter what you do for stimulus, no easing, nothing should recover it this quickly, we SHOULD see some trouble eventually. I don't know when but I am still a bit scared of this good results.
4550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin last forever? on: April 06, 2020, 08:30:32 PM
If we are talking about bitcoin having some sort of trouble and not really doing what we imagine it would do and eventually die, that will not happen. I mean surely bitcoin could face some troubles and has already faced some troubles but we also had amazing moments as well like the 20k time for example, so we had our downs but we had our ups as well and in general that is all that should matter when we are talking about "forever".

As long as bitcoin stands it will always recover from even the worst of things. However like beerlover said if we are talking about a competition, there could be a competition in the future that we don't know right now, 50 years ago nobody could imagine we could have bitcoin, so many different technologies came together to build it, 50 years in future maybe we will have stuff we can't even begin to imagine right now.
4551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: April 06, 2020, 04:16:33 PM
I suggest not to trade bot because this is something that I think is ridiculous and only detrimental. Usually, new traders will be interested in this way because they think they will get profits easily but the reality is reversed. Trading bot will also adversely affect the market.
There are online bots and there are offline bots, if you are scared of using online bots, you can certainly use offline bots as well and they are quite safe, usually too safe.

Offline bots are the ones you download to your own computer, cut of all online connection if you want while setting it up because you can check the inside of it and it is notifying absolutely nobody, it is just a software on your computer, you can give every single information about you in there and nobody could reach it because nobody gets any info out of it. Then you can write your api information into it and connect to the exchange, no middleman, no extra layers, just you and exchange, which afterwards bot starts to work. Not saying you will make money or lose money, just explaining the benefits of an offline bot.
4552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Portfolio Stop Loss on: April 06, 2020, 10:24:08 AM
What do you guys think? Is this a strategy that people should be using for their portfolios? Does anyone have experience using this strategy?
Honestly I'm not following any specific strategy for my stoploss levels but my technical analysis itself providing me stoploss signals so that I am ensuring that I am always into safer hands regardless of any kind of market volatile scenarios. Stoploss is definitely needed for all the traders when they are into trading based on short term and mid term strategies. Yes, for long term traders stoploss is NOT needed with respect to highly recognized crypto assets trading.

Could you please explain here about what kind of mechanism you are trying to emphasize to this crypto community with your article? I hate to click clicks from this forum. So, it would be much better if you time time to elaborate your strategy within this forum like without needing to visit other web pages.
4553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Restoring crypto back to normal is possible on: April 05, 2020, 08:40:49 PM
Honestly I rather see this all burn to hell and never have any crypto if I can't have decentralization. The whole reason why I am here is decentralization because banks and FEDs of the world and governments all work together to make rich people richer and poor people poorer in order to keep themselves in power, they bribe each other and make each other more and more powerful by working together even more.

Even CZ himself worked with Justin Sun to take over all of steem, so we all know what he thinks about centralization and decentralization, if he had the right he would take over all of bitcoin for more profits. This is why I rather see all of crypto to burn to ground than see someone like CZ or any human for that matter to be in charge and have zero decentralization.
4554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your advice is needed if you know about mining on: April 05, 2020, 07:46:37 PM
I think it can stay here as there are miners who like to mine altcoins (mainly ethereum miners for example) and it does involve some discussion so it is sort of altcoin discussion.

Electricty is the most important thing when it comes to mining, do not forget that you will spend most of your money paying back that bill instead of anything else, however there is also other stuff like maybe your card breaking down and you needing to buy another one, or maybe you use it so much that eventually it doesn't work, no card really works over 5 years so always arrange like you will make a profit in less than 3 years or you will face some bad news. All that in mind, if you can build solar panels and make it work, you can also sell that power as well, so you have to compare which one brings in more profits.
4555  Economy / Speculation / Re: we all were waiting for bitcoin halving, we got bitcoin price halving on: April 05, 2020, 05:41:44 PM
Unfortunately bitcoin doesn't really look like a safe heaven these days, it is still a great one and all but not that much, people are shifting towards something more old school and more reliable as well, bitcoin showed its hand during this pandemic and it is not really all that great unfortunately.

Don't get me wrong in the long term as an investment bitcoin is still better, much better than anything else, however when we are talking about panic days bitcoin drops as much as anyone else and the fact that it can go even lower it really hurts us all because we lack liquidity and have only few billions at most trading whereas stock markets have hundreds at a time. Hopefully this will change one day but I have my doubts and surely some other people do as well.
4556  Economy / Exchanges / Re: "False crypto exchange traffic volume?" on: April 05, 2020, 10:48:19 AM
Well, we will not get a proper answer to what the real volume is because they are doing it behind secret doors and nobody really has the answer to it, or any data that can back it up. First of all, not even exchanges knows how much of the volume they have is fake all the time, they do the fake volume themselves for some coins but at the same time they are not doing all of it, they let the coins do it themselves.

Binance and some of the other huge ones have specific auto trading bots that basically trade inside the spread so it looks like there is a trade going but in reality someone is buying and selling from themselves and losing some money by doing so to the exchange but it keeps them from getting delisted. Exchanges do not have numbers of those ones and that is why no real one person knows all of the fake ones in any exchange.
4557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade and make a profit in a Volatile market on: April 05, 2020, 09:36:55 AM
That is why the person who does this has to be a veteran trader and knows everything about trading inside out without having any doubts about what they are doing. If you are uncertain about even a single part of this, you will lose a lot of money and very quickly as well because this is an unforgiving market.

We are talking about a system where you can use a lot smaller amount to gain a lot more profits and that is something awesome and that option allows you to make enough money to retire one day with just couple months salary at most. This is the good part about the option, however think about the bad part, you can also try that and lose all of your money very very quickly, like right away type of quickly, in an hour all of it could be gone forever as well.
4558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: whats next? on: April 05, 2020, 08:11:08 AM
You do realize that we only need to push above 7k and stay there right? Sure, it would take millions of dollars to do that but if we can do it just once, only once that would mean we will actually be higher on year to date and we would be the only thing that is higher on year to date, no other investment option would be like that aside from maybe having a savings account with some small interest rate that is funnily low.

How can we do it? Maybe we can arrange some day when all of us all buy and finally pump bitcoin (all other coins been pumped anyway) but I doubt we will do that, then what is left? Some good news, if we can have some good news that would mean maybe everyone will react to that good news and we can actually increase the price again, that seems like a possible solution.
4559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Finalizing Deal to Purchase CoinMarketCap! Can CMC Stay Neutral? on: April 05, 2020, 07:06:04 AM
The deal to acquire CoinMarketCap is reportedly worth $400 million. Can CMC stays neutral after it is transferred to CZ?

Breaking the news:

https://www.cryptozink.io/binance-exchange-buys-cryptocurrency-price-index-website-coinmarketcap/
How could binance make sure that the data they are getting is not bots? I mean there are so many places that basically acts like they have huge sums of volume but in reality they do not, most of the volumes listed on the cmc is actually wrong and most of them are bots, but how can you prove it?

There is no tangible thing that you can show people why it is wrong, hell we even know this because we feel it is fake and we have seen the fake movements and some of us even been there, otherwise you wouldn't know about it by just looking at the numbers. Hopefully binance would find a way but I doubt they can, it is not something that you can see clearly, so it is going to be a very very very big challenge for binance to remove bot volume and only have the real ones.
4560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What effect would covid-19 have on bitcoin halving as it approaches ? on: April 04, 2020, 07:48:47 AM
Maybe it was a bliss in disguise? I know we can't call corona a bliss because it literally killed thousands of people, the total death total stands at 50k right now, that is 50 thousand people who is no longer with us because of corona.

However one thing is certain that price dropped because of it, we were around 7k-10k levels and now we are lower, that means eventually we will go back up and with halving coming up the price will surely skyrocket to back to what it was before this and I suggest if you buy right now, and sell couple months after halving, you will definitely profit from it. Even if it takes longer, like lets say you will not profit this summer but the summer after that, it is still a 50% or so profit and you can't get that anywhere else.
