4541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Warning. Be very careful with bitbay Exchange!! on: December 28, 2018, 01:08:39 PM
Freezing and demanding ID after depositing or requesting a crypto withdraw is a prime dick move. If that's how they operate then they should not open wallets up to people until they've fully verified themselves. Anything else smacks of questionable ethics.
In Q&A and terms of use it is written that withdrawing is impossible without KYC. Op should read it beafore depositing founds. Again. This exchange works for 4 years. It is not shitexchange that seeing big deposit they froze it and demand for multiple things one by one just to be able to lock founds for longer period.
4542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Warning. Be very careful with bitbay Exchange!! on: December 28, 2018, 11:17:27 AM
Be careful with new exchanges, where a lot of fraudulent things happen.
The trading floors even fabricated that the trading floor was knocked down and they took all the users' money and fled. so investing in large exchanges will be better.
As I said Bitbay is not a new exchange. It was made in 2014 ... Binance was made in 2017. They are boulding trust for 4 years not to loose it by scamming one person. They moved to Malta few months ago and maybe they have some problems with banking.
Im sure they wont scam you. I understand your frustration. Their behavior should be stigmatized but its more like huge mistake rather than intentional scam.
4543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimise possible losses in trading on: December 28, 2018, 11:10:17 AM
I prefer to build a core position in the direction of the current trend, then trade around that core position with smaller trades. That way, I never lose exposure to the larger move. I probably only trade 1-3 times a week though, using the 1H or higher time frame charts.

I love this strategy. Doing same thing very often. If i'm monitoring my core position it would be a waste of time not to take profit from daytrading around core position.
4544  Economy / Economics / Re: US markets have 2nd biggest pump in history on: December 27, 2018, 03:27:36 PM
When i look at SPX at 15 min chart it looks like bitcoin in 18-12k range. Investors running from depression to euphoria in 30 min. Even after this huge pump we will continue to fall and eat that pump in next 2 sessions.
4545  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much fiat is in the bitcoin system? on: December 27, 2018, 11:26:55 AM
exchanges are not buying coins and dont need fiat. Investors are buing from each other. There is nothing like fiat backing bitcoin. 0 $ are backing bitcoin. Today I have 100 $ and i wont to buy bitcoin and you have bitcoins that you want to sell. Tommorow you have mine 100$ and i have yours bitcoin. Those 100$ was never in system. Firtly they were in my hand now thay are in yours.

If you mean how deep is this market - how much bitcoins cam be dumped on it without pushich price significantly - well im sure that 25 000 btc would be sucked in less than hour and price will remain to previous price (if that big order wont cause panic selling). Only Bitmex has 1,3 mld dayli volume what is more than 300 000 btc.

4546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimise possible losses in trading on: December 27, 2018, 11:19:37 AM
Yep. Fundamentcial analysis works only for long term trading and is totally useless for daytrading. All i need to know before entering coin is:
1- volume - high volume coin are acting more technical - easier to predict. Low volume coins are beeing pushed up and down with every order made by middle trader (not even a whale)
2- volatility - high volatility coins for lower bets (high risk high reward) low colatility coins for low risk low reward. Volatility is often increased after pumps or dumps.

Bolynger bands dont work in my opinion. Well it might work for specyfic market condition that let you earn but for sure different market condition will come and suck all your profit if you wont stop trading seeing your depo shrinking. I heard dozens times that earning form trading is easy. Same guys few months later was borrowing money from me fro his next depo (first was zerowed). Remeber - the biggest losses are preceded by the highest self-confidence. My ass was so manny times kicked on market that now, when im on big profit and start to fill to confidence i sell everything and take a break.

Personally i do not use any trading indicator. Supports and resistance and price action with volume during hitting those. If price is closing to support and slowly loosing volume means that big investors want to exit but dont want to break support to exit on better levels. When volume is increasing hitting support means that someone is buying the deep.
4547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone doing arbitrage? on: December 26, 2018, 12:01:31 PM
As i heard its not for small money investor. You need huge porfolio to negotiate special conditions with exchanges like instant transfers, close to 0 fees etc.
4548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trader: Why a Rapid Crypto Bull Run Can’t be Expected Just Yet on: December 26, 2018, 11:57:36 AM
Agreed. There is very low propability for rapid price grow. We just broke 6k support and amost instantly droppped to 3k. Bounce and even retest 6k support is normal and is not forecasting anything. Its just rebound from massive price drop. True direction bitcoin will show leaving 3-5,5k area.
4549  Economy / Speculation / Re: When traditional markets fall, alternative markets fall harder on: December 26, 2018, 11:49:44 AM
If you compare the dow jones, or the S&P 500 to the bitcoin chart you can notice that the stock's have been in a rally since 2009 right when bitcoin was just created, this means that the crypto currency space has never experienced a stock bear market, because stocks have been bullish since 2009 and right now they are starting to fall and I believe there will be a bigger crash than the one that happened in 2008-2009, based on this we can say that all the thousand's of bitcoin "deaths" where just mere corrections, like when bitcoin went from 30$ to 2$ when it went from 1200$ to 200$ and now from 20k to 3k all of the previous corrections where with a bullish stock market, but now the stock market for the first time since 2009 is beginning to plunge and is taking cryptos down with it, something that hasn't happened in the previous btc "deaths"

This makes me believe that this time crypto may never come back at all, like when tulips crashed in the 1600's or when the thousand of .com stocks never recovered (like pets.com) etc this means that this time bitcoin and other crypto currencies may NEVER come back to a ATH like it has happened before, what we learnt from previous bubbles caused by a new emerging technology eg the .com bubble with the rise of the internet is that the majority of companies (this time coins) die off and I believe right now bitcoin is so old, rusty with high tx times and high fees that it is possible it may become the MySpace of crypto, having said this it is also really posible that cryptos stop existing at all, because there are coins that really don't need a blockchain and are just pump ICO'S that have no real purpose, the only thing that its left is the blockchain technology by itself that dosnt really need to have a token with value attached to work, the world could adopt the blockchain technology without the need to have a pump token attached to it.

this is my opinion right now, I think blockchain technology is here to stay but I put into a debate if crypto tokens will be here to stay.

Well. Bitcoin was made during crysis for people furous about monetary system that made crysis. Cryptos will be during this crysis saying "look what traditional monatary did", "you said cryptos are unsafe? Now you know that your founds in bank are unsafe too". In my opinion it will only bring more attention to crypto rather than "kill crypto".

Also dont compare tulips to crypto. Crypto has actual value created not only from speculation. I wont to have some on my money out of system and still be able to use them, transfer and pay from them (what only crypto gives me) and i think that there are a lot of investors with similar thoughts.

Crysis will show other what we crypto investors know from 2009. Founds in banks are unsafe. And as you said. This is first crysis with crypto around. Thats why we dont know what will happend and bull run during this time is as possible as huge dump to below 1000$ area.
4550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ‘Died’ 90 Times In 2018 on: December 26, 2018, 10:19:16 AM
if you buy a small amount of bitcoin each time the media talks about bitcoin's death and store it away then you would be a millionaire by now even at this low price let alone at the high price that we will hit during the next rally's ATH/

looking at chart and how it will slowly loose momentum and slowly pump we might see another ath even at 2025. I think only 10% of us will still be in crypto world.
4551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Market Added $45 Billion in 10 Days, is Bitcoin Close to a Bottom? on: December 25, 2018, 08:19:28 AM
We just break major support and drop almost instantly to 3k. Its very cummon to retest support from bottom, thats why traders are pushing price pushing price up these days. As long as we will loose momentum bitcoin will show its true direction (moon or hell). Where moon might be around 10k and hell around 1k.

Thats why I do agree that bitcoin was underwalued at 3k price but its not now while its loosing momentum much below support retest.
4552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Paper trading in Bittrex or Binance? on: December 24, 2018, 11:36:32 AM
Coinigy is a similar platform but paper trading is not supported. I don't think the exchange is that important If your goal is to simply learn how to trade. You could go with HitBtc demo trading or Bitmex's testnet.

Yep. Those are good sites to learn for free.

But if you wont to learn on binance i would recomend you to deposit minimum amount (10$ is enought) and start trading. Minimum bet on binance is 0.001 btc which is 4$ currently. Even with worst case scenario your learning wont cost you more than few cents. Just start to trade and see on real 10$ if you would loose it or multiply.
4553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: EXX.COM - Anyone using this exchange? Are they legit? share your experience pls. on: December 24, 2018, 11:31:57 AM
EXX.com exchange have $98,921,809 USD (13,371 BTC) trading volume. I think they are legit. But don't be fooled by the huge difference in margin, the 121 USD showing may only be a sell order made by someone. It does not necessarily mean you can sell at 121 USD

Judging if exchange is legit or not by trading volume is not the best idea. Its cummon knowledge that most of crypto exchange (even from top 10 coinmarketcap) are trading with themselve to boost trading volume (free advertisement) or are letting users pump trading volume by token mining while trading - what is nothing more than paying users to pump trading volume paying them in token that they generated for free as much they need.

With 100 mln trading volume there should not be 10% spread on litecoin (buy/sell) so price difference should give good return while arbitraging. If noone is doing that it means that something stinks.

I think it might be exit scam. I heard lots of issues with this exchange beafore.
4554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Warning. Be very careful with bitbay Exchange!! on: December 23, 2018, 04:58:43 PM
Bitbay definetly is not a scam exchange. You can be sure that you will soonly see your founds. Bitbay is older than binance and for years is gaining trust. Perhaps in situation where you will firstly veryfi yourself (what is written in FAQ) your money would be avaible faster.

Dont worry. They whon't scam you.
4555  Local / Polski / Re: Adresy portfeli krypto walut w postach on: December 23, 2018, 01:48:54 PM
w przypadku bounty jest ok. Gorzej z airdropami.
4556  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Spekulacja na newsach alt/btc on: December 23, 2018, 11:42:12 AM
Witajcie.

Zatem alty, którymi obecnie się interesuje to;

Zil - uruchamia mainnet w końcówce stycznia 2019
IOTX - mainnet 1 kwartał 2019
IOST - mainnet luty 2019
THETA - mainnet marzec 2019
ENIGMA - mainnet marzec 2019
edit: QLC - mainnet 31 marzec 2019

4557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 24Hr volume greater than Marketcap on: December 23, 2018, 10:29:58 AM
Lots of exchanges are trading with themselve just to boost trading volume to be higher in coinmarketcap list (free advertise). That might be the reason. I dont think that someone is manipulating price on exchange when alsmost noone is trading on coin that everyone forgot about. There must no more that 1 real transaction per day. If someone with big money is manipulating this price he would spend perhaps more on fees that this coin is worth (300k marketcap).
4558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where are the best conditions for trade / transaction? on: December 22, 2018, 05:47:31 PM
Yep. Binance is the best exchange for now.

Best support - telegrams in close to 30 languages with instant replay from admin
best secured - it even have special system to lock suspicious trades that in last year save custommers coins twice.
higher volume (lower spread)- and its real volume. On other exchanges like Lbank Ubex, Bitforex 90% of trades are fake.
Low fees - 0.075% with bnb.
great, sharp inteface.

I'm daytrading on binance every day for more than a year. I havent seen better exchange.
4559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New Pump Group [NO VIP] on: December 22, 2018, 05:43:40 PM
EQUALLY gain on pump and dump group. Its mathematically impossible and you know it. Bitcointalk members are mostly too educated to fallow pump and dump groups. You need to search somewhere else.
4560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: VET price gains ... charts looking promising. on: December 22, 2018, 05:41:36 PM
Well it looks as bulish as it looks in 27/11 06/11 24/10 07/10. It all ended in cointinuing downtrend. It may bounce. Even +150% but it will need BTC to grow slowly and confident. Without that it may be dumped further. Personally i have some vet but with small stoploss.
