Most of you said it right and I am very excited to watch Champions League tonight. But first let's bet
Juventus-Bayern Munchen (maybe it can be a very tight match played defensively)under 2,5 goals
Arsenal-Barcelona (many goals here) both teams to score

I agree with you, I am also interested in making a parlay with little BTC just like your prediction Arsenal-Barcelona both teams to score
and Juventus-Bayern Munchen under 2,5 goals. specifically for Arsenal vs Barcelona I also bet single both teams to score
Man, my parlay was utterly wrong this time but Juventus - Bayern was a wonderful game to watch!
I didn't lose much but these results were really difficult to guess!

4543  Economy / Economics / Re: Forget Grexit. BREXIT is the Bigger Threat to Europe. on: February 24, 2016, 06:56:59 AM
The Brexit is very unlikely. The British are generally not in favor of changing the status quo. So I assume that most of the people who give out their opinion as "Undecided" in the opinion poll will vote against Brexit during the referendum. However, if the Brexit actually occurs, then it will negatively affect the EU in a big way.
What you say is true but most of the Brits don't care aboute Europe: they drive on the left side, they have sterlings instead of euro and so on.
If they are out that's Europe's problems not theirs.

Because it would be a smart thing to change the traditional side you drive on based on joining a union? That is something completely unrelated.

Also, they are not the only country in the EU that held their own currency in favor of the euro.

If they go out it is for sure a big problem for Europe, but also for the Brits. Imagine the impact on their economy. No more easy traveling there for EU citizins. No more tax free shipping, etc. It would severly impact their export and tourism and they can't handle that.
I have been in the UK long enough to understand that they don't need Europe at all: it is the other way round. And trust me they are really proud of their differences!

Just got home to see I missed the action by minutes.

No one else here? I only see Chartbuddy.

I saw a small dump nothing exceptional that needed further actions. Down by ten dollars not much

4547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Roundtable Retreat - 70 top Techies & CEOs - What should be covered? on: February 23, 2016, 07:00:20 AM
Mmm ok. If they are to invest in btc I simply don't get why not attending this. Thanks for the answer by the way
but if their ETF was actually going to become a reality soon and they wanted some collaboration to help improve the trading platform using LN or liquid.. then there may be a reason to attend, where they can suggest what some of the features should do be actually useful to the outside financial world
Basically that's what I wanted to say. Probably they have their good reason but I still don't get why not showing up (it could have been only one of them to attend!!) in this kind of meeting

Where are the twins? Did they get a ticket?
There's Micah Winkelspecht but the list misses Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss. Cool too bad

Yes, they were invited, said they would have liked to attend but have a commitment and thanked us for the invite and asked to be invited next time

4553  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Apple or the FBI… whose side are you on in the iPhone privacy battle? on: February 22, 2016, 03:11:22 PM
As others noticed the fact that Apple or Google are worried about privacy is really hilarious! I mean they profile any given data about their customers now what is all this fuss regarding some privacy concerns? It seemes only a way to keep customers happy about their data are " safe " with them
4554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 22, 2016, 12:51:07 PM
Last Serie A game tonight, a big match between Napoli and Milan: if Napoli wins they will lead the league again.
My pick is as following
Napoli to win+over,1,5 goals

Are you planning some marketing/giveaways stuff before/after your launch? It would be nice to have some freebies to let more people in: any thoughts?
4556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 22, 2016, 10:44:38 AM
Last minute bet for Serie A
Verona-Chievo (right now I discovered  this is Verona's derby) Home or draw
Inter-Sampdoria Inter
Atalanta-Fiorentina Draw or away
Genoa-Udinese Genoa
Sassuolo-Empoli Sassuolo
Torino-Carpi Torino

I missed only Torino... I got everything else! My win could have been 0.2 btc. What a pity, I exptected Torino to win easily and Maxi Lopez missed a penalty
4557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 21, 2016, 11:04:04 AM
Gambling comes as a result of the desire to get quick money when one is idle. I feel if someone is busy or is engaged in any activity then the desire to gamble will reduce.
Not at all. It really depends on the individual. I am a very active person but I always find 5 to ten minutes to gamble or bet online. I like it and I don't get crazy at it. Sometimes I win too. Cool
4558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Automated posting on: February 21, 2016, 11:00:11 AM
look at those full blocks! but it's ok, we'll have some more room sometime in the middle of next year.
I've never had any delays or other issues sending bitcoins. What is your problem with full blocks?
Paying the suggested fee of 5000 satoshi per KB everything gets confirmed pretty soon. Haven't had any delays in a long time: miners need to be paid.

Miners get paid 25 BTC per block. if hald a million people want to send some coin on the same day, they can't all do it, no matter how high the fees are.  Higher fees kill marginal transactions. marginal transactions are where the growth comes from.

I think you know that btc was never designed for those high numbers: this is it right now if I am to use btc I need to pay that fee.
If we grow in numbers then I really don't know what's gonna happen.
This was never designed as a world currency
4559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Consensus Reached on: February 21, 2016, 10:46:16 AM
Let's see it in the code this consensus! Before then I am greatly skeptical even though if the miners majority reached this that says it all.
Hope to see some improvements after all the talking.
Btc is not politics but it works sadly the same way
