4542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 21, 2020, 07:58:15 PM
Losing is part of a traders life, you will have losses and that will be normal in any day because that is how being a trader works, you make profits and you get losses and hope that in the end profits are larger than the losses and that way you could be in profit over a longer term.

I have a friend who makes trades almost everyday, even on bad days when things go down dude is trading, he does manual trading and also works with a bot as well (different accounts on different exchanges) and dude had the biggest loss I have ever seen in trading once but also had the biggest profit as well, overall he is doing alright, he is not super rich but doing quite well considering he has huge swings between ups and downs. If you want to be a trader, learn from your losses and move on.
4543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering on: April 21, 2020, 07:18:49 PM
It is still in recovery phase, do not be upset that it went down just couple hundred bucks, where is our tranquility when it comes to days like this, because of this panic that is seeded in everyone that whenever price goes down even just a bit the price may go down like crazy, we are having all of this trouble and then there is panic sell going around as well because these people who are afraid also sells their coins as well which creates even a bigger fall after a smaller fall.

Do not be convinced this easily that bitcoin price going down means something horrible, it could very well be as simple as market moves and it will definitely recover, hell even this price is recovered because we went down under 4k just a month ago remember that and compared to today we are doing awesome.
4544  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: April 21, 2020, 06:11:56 PM
I do agree that these poor nations are probably either hiding their numbers or more simply they are just not doing tests as much as other nations which is why we do not see too many numbers in the underdeveloped nations.

However there is also another possibility that these poor nations are poor for a reason and maybe the touristic poor places like south east Asia or something could be still having a big pandemic spread going on that they are not aware, but looking at Latin American countries and African countries I can't stop myself from thinking maybe not a lot of Chinese people went there during pandemic and after that maybe not a lot of Europeans neither? These are places that not many people fly to so maybe no corona people ever went there and they never had any sick people because of it?
4545  Economy / Economics / Re: Capital preservation and investing during and after the COVID19 crisis on: April 20, 2020, 05:49:46 PM
Whenever I see a bubble burst or a crash or anything that basically causes the banks to go down and money to be lost and governments to actually give away free money to big corporations I remember what Warren Buffet did. Dude basically bought out a HUGE part of Bank of America when it went down after 2008 but realized that they were not really an investment bank the size of others, it was more of a commercial bank at a huuuge size and they weren't doing all that horrible neither, so he bought huge sums of stocks from them and also lend them money in billions to cover up their quickly needed debts with a decent sized interest as well.

What happens is, he got his money back from the lending with interest, plus he got stocks for it as well when they couldn't and bought even more stocks. Of course with his help Bank recovered and became great again, yet that only worked out well for Warren as well Cheesy. So, I always remember to see the opportunities in crashes.
4546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 20, 2020, 09:55:43 AM
Traders cannot escape from losses but only holders may get the chances to avoid losses with their altcoin investments. It means if you choose your altcoins with care then you may get chances to avoid losses. If you notice, only holders will be making more profit compared to traders. So if you are more concerned about escaping from losses then you should not go for trading altcoins. Instead of trading frequently, you must choose few altcoins for long term holding.

Instead of trading frequently, you must choose few altcoins for long-term holding. Please note only few. If you go for investing with a random coins then the chances for facing losses will be more. Some years back, I have tried day trading bitcoins against fiats and altcoins against bitcoins, but none of them were beneficial to me. Then I decided to invest only with bitcoin and a few other altcoins like ethereum, ada and waves and I'm still holding them.
4547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: April 20, 2020, 08:39:36 AM
Taking into consideration the nature and redundancy of Bitcoin technology and the difficulty in scaling, I am very curious to know if Bitcoin protocol will be dropped one day and another coin build to take its place. because now it's almost like the redundancy of Bitcoin and the time it takes for a transaction to be processed is part of what is affecting its mainstream adoption as a currency. please share your thoughts.
There are lesser possibilities for a new coin to beat bitcoins but a new coin may get familiar similar to ethereum or litecoin. I'm just talking with respect to what has happened in last 10 years of time frame it means there is no big threat for bitcoin from any altcoin so far to replace it. At the same time there are big possibilities for some new coin to get higher value like how ethereum had done by 2018.

To replace/overtake bitcoin, we must need some all new technology which must be focusing on solving a problem which is not addressed by bitcoin so far. I guess no such problem is existing until today which means there will be no need of boom of another coin for the current scenario, what we are having in our financial world.

Don't forget to try out our new game Grin

LOOOOL who made that gif! Cheesy That is one hilarious gif and it looks like it was literally made for wolf.bet as well, with the shirt and all it looks like you guys literally made it for yourself and didn't just get it somewhere and posted here Cheesy. That is some big time dedication to print that head that could be used like that, do not forget to put it on when going outside during these times of pandemic lol!

The game is addictive as I imagined it would be, I personally love when casinos add new games, it allows me to test as many games in as many places as possible, and I think you could also add plinko as well, it is one of the easiest games to play and has quite good design where you watch the balls to fall down and I am sure it can't be all that hard to code neither.

That is the difference between actually gambling and investing. When you gamble there is a chance that you can win and profit early on, you have that chance because this is gambling and you can very well just put 0.1 bitcoins in to a 999x odd thing and happen to win on your very first chance, that is literally the "odds" that we are talking about, don't get me wrong it is still quite improbable that you would win on your first try on a 999x game, yet its not impossible, it is improbable.

However when you are investing literally the moment you put your money in, some whale could make some profits and you can start your investment at -10% on your first minute. Yet when you look at mathematics, it is clear that gambling over time will lead to losing whereas investment will lead to winning, no matter what happens in the middle, the results will be the same in the end.

Steve, there is an option to max the screen but that is literally maxing the screen, like when you are watching a movie and you make it the full screen? That is it, that is what happens when you max it. What we are asking (or at least what I am asking) is not like that, I am asking for it to be maxed on the browser and that would be really cool to have, this is more about preferences and I will not stop just because it is not like that but I am also going to use it if you ever do that, which means it is not make it or break it type of system but it is definitely a system that would help you make your customers happy.

I personally dislike the small version which I would not even play at all, however the max version is cool and I like it but I usually multitask so I would have to both gamble but also whenever my move passes I check some other stuff until its my time again and that means things are harder when you use full max screen.
4551  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: April 18, 2020, 04:51:11 PM
Hi Smiley iv'e made a deposit on fj ,  but i didn't apply  for Bonus  , it's for  " SPECIAL BONUS: 130% UP TO 1 BTC BONUS +50 FREE SPINS " ,  since i saw 40x wagering , which it's really hard to make 40x lol also i'm curious if there is requirement wagering to withdraw ?  like if i can withdraw my money without betting ?
Of course you cannot  Wink The bonus for your deposit is always accompanied by certain terms and rules. I have not read it, but usually, different casinos have the same rules. You will be limited to a number of bets or a amount of money that has been bet to be able to withdraw. Therefore, this bonus seems to be detrimental to those who want to bet and leave quickly. For example, if you register this bonus, then you win $ 100 on the first 10 bets, and you want to withdraw money, but you cannot, because their terms require you to place a minimum bet 20 times to withdraw money. It would be disadvantageous in these cases  Wink
I have always hated those rules yet I never needed anything against it neither so I never talked about it to someone but maybe we should talk about it for people who need it gone, if we do not help others, there won't be others to help us when the time comes for us to need help.

Why would you need deposits to be gambled? I mean a person has just sent you some money, and he really wants it back, he just decided he will not gamble, why would you force them to gamble? There is no reason for it neither, I mean we are talking about no cost to fortunejack neither, simple deposit to withdraw doesn't really do anything to fortunejack at all, as soon as you start asking for people to gamble by force without even giving them anything, that is a bit like being a bully. I am leaving the bonus things aside from this, those do require rollover and makes sense.
4552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the dream of crazy on: April 18, 2020, 04:22:47 PM
This must be a joke right? Seriously are you kidding here? I am surprised that some comments were applauding you , it seems they didn't read your story.

Why would you give your private keys to someone you don't know, just a random person you met on Facebook? Why didn't you look for a way to sell your coins, instead of giving it to someone else? Seriously, you brought this upon yourself, though I still feel sorry for you, but it could have been avoided so easily if you did the right thing. Google is always for anyone that needs information, when I started new, I wasn't asking for information, rather I kept using Google to research .
4553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus crypto on: April 18, 2020, 03:24:33 PM
Hey, I was wondering, how will the crypto market react to the virus?
In this regard, I found the article about it, https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/coronavirus-reveals-cryptocurrencies-are-crisis-resistant, it says, that crypto is well resisted to the crisis, what do you think? Is that true?
I'm already tired of arguing this with some people. If you ask me I would say that bitcoin was affected but some people would say that's a lie, that it wasn't affected, rather they will look for other things to link the price decrease with, but I am not going to believe that.

Someone once said that the main reason the price of Bitcoin fell was because of the oil price war, and then another person said that the price decrease was as a result of the quantum computer that was announced, and tried to prove it by linking with the past event of what happened when it was first announced. There are also people who say that the fall was caused by the PlusToken scam.
4554  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: April 16, 2020, 11:15:05 AM
It display week stats not days and you can check in the past months since it is posted.
Oh I didn't realize it was weekly, I assumed it was daily and I made my remarks according to that, now that I am looking at it, its really weekly and dates are weekly as well, that means a lot of changes. Well honestly looking at the weekly ones right now, I can say there was an increasing number even before the pandemic started, from under 2k to over 3k took before the pandemic (maybe it started in some nations but wasn't all around just yet) and it continued that way, hell even during early march it dropped to 2.6k sign ups which shows pandemic may not really be the reason why the numbers went up.

I would say if we take a look at the next 2-3 months and then we take a look at after 6 months to a year, we will see that number probably will continue to go up even after pandemic "ends".
4555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: April 14, 2020, 08:53:06 PM
in the long term you can't beat the house on the games based on luck. But I know few people (but only few) who manage to stay on the plus side year after year. But they gamble only on sport and play poker. They never play games based purely on luck.
How it will be possible for those few people. If there is an exception in luck based gambling that could be due to some illegal methods or due to some extraordinary super power. I agree that sportsbetting and poker are skill based gambling on-which anyone could stay profitable for year after year. But, like you mentioned on your first statement I guess it would be too difficult for anyone to be profitable in long run with luck based gambling.

I do not agree with OP. In my opinion, no one could win consistently yes even with skill based gambling. Because, for consistent winning you must have high level of discipline which may not be possible with an entertainment because there are plenty of chances for you to slip down somewhere when you are too excited about your entertainments.
4556  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: April 14, 2020, 08:04:52 PM
I would say that has something to do with people staying at home from looking at only those numbers, however if you show us a longer list that goes back a lot more, we can actually speculate if it was people staying at home or if it was something else, right now we are seeing literally under 2k sign up turning into over 3k people every day, that is almost a double, in some days it is literally double, so that can't really be variance, 100% increase can't be just some swings.

Yet if you show us the past 6 months for example, we could see maybe days that went up and down around those levels and we could actually make a discussion according to that, bigger the data the more variance there should be and there should be some huge days and some bad days which we can take a look at to discuss any further.
4557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 06:17:50 PM
Another crypto exchange got hacked and this time the victim is Bisq, a trading platform that has temporarily ceased all its trading services that unfortunately cost users at least $250,000 in digital funds, is there no year gone by withouth a crypto exchange getting hacked? This one weaks me, will this ever stop?
Hmmm I have seen this exchange being mentioned at times on this forum, and some people have also tagged it as one of the best exchanges. I'm surprised that they got hacked. Anyway that's like a normal thing. Only few exchanges has been able to stand strong against these hackers.

But at this time, I expect exchanges to be working hard in the area of security and keep their platforms safe for users and also save their businesses. They have seen what happened to other exchanges that got hacked, and how they spiraled down to their end, so they shouldn't be joking with this and should work hard on it. I hope that others learn from this and stop putting people's money at risk.
4558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good new staking coins coming on the market? on: April 14, 2020, 05:06:29 PM
Please do not look for new coins as that must be more riskier way but choosing existing coins for staking purpose will be more profitable in coming days. I do stake reddcoin and clam coin which are highly trusted old POS coins and I am recommending to go with them right away.

Other than POS coins, you may think about investing into waves and tron which are also providing POS functionality indirectly. You can lease out waves to earn waves on daily basis. Trust wallet allows you to stake tron to get daily rewards. I just read about brave browser which is providing various crypto rewards and BAT tokens is one of them. I am also thinking about making use of it.
You came up with a lot of useful information on POS coins and other passive income streams. So far, I do make some passive income only from freebitco.in which is paying me daily interest for my balance I hold with them.

I never think about investing with POS coins and masternode coins because most of the getting dumped over the time which means even with the new rewarded coins, we will not be able to recover our initial capital. This had happened with the many masternode coins so I was thinking about staying away from such investment things.
4559  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 13, 2020, 08:13:37 PM
You can trust people who are good at sniffing out scam as well, I know there are not that many around and many people to fall victim however check out everywhere else online and you will see comments about the project which are basically decentralized and that way you can find more reasonable people.

For example I do not trust bitcointalk about a project anymore, many people are paid and that is why I do not think they are really all that credible, however I do go to reddit and there I find people who are more free to talk about whatever they want without having any problem, even if mods of a certain subreddit bans people for saying bad stuff, you can find other subreddits who are more free and that way you can find peoples real comments there.
4560  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: April 13, 2020, 07:37:59 PM
Lol, whenever I see dudes like this who are WAAAAY above what their competition is gambling, I feel like that has nothing to do with competition and they were just gambling at the right time. Think about it, if it was purely just the competition they were interested in, they would have wagered just 0.1 more than the second person and they would have been ahead, if anyone passes them that would mean they can come back and pass them again, they could have done this until the current high amount they have instead of going for that right away from the start.

This means they are not after the competition, they don't care, they were just gambling boat loads and were having fun and that just happily were at the same time as the competition which helped them a lot as well.

There's no prizes for the 'competition' (if you can really call it that) so there's zero incentive to place 1st/2nd/3rd/etc. What you see for the leaderboard is basically just how much people are wagering normally. I bet volume would go up and there would be some real competition like you described if prizes were offered.
I didn't know there was no prize for the competition, never really played big enough to be on the list so I never really checked so I am sorry if I mislead anyone by saying competition but leaderboard just made me think of leaderboard of a competition and not just for the looks of it.

Interesting that they do have a leaderboard in that case if there is no reward for it when you are at the top, it kind of looks like "well you are the one who is gambling more than anyone else but we are not going to do anything about it to say thanks to you" if there is no prize for it. No wonder the second and everyone undernearth is very low on wagering, there is no prize so there is no incentive to play more neither, if there was a prize I agree that there would be a lot more people gambling a lot more btc.
