This release is broken. Miner crash before it can start mining.

Edit; the SG one

Hello, can i plug your sexy 1x to 16x usb in a 16x slot? Effectively rising a 16x slot? Just looking at the slots i don,t see why you could not plug that 1x in a 16x physically.
That way i would just buy 7 and not have to bother getting 16x-16x.

Can you confirm or deny?

P.S.: If you can stock more stuff, maybe stock stuff like crates, 16x 16x riser, power switch with led and affordable 8-16gb? (They're like 7 USD online free shipping) Tie wrap too, why not? Tongue

Those are the other things i'm buying that i cannot buy at your one stop shop Smiley
4544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Enabled GPU while on IGP, now hashrate suffer and gpu doesnt report? on: April 19, 2014, 08:33:34 PM
Wow i slept alot.

So, i mine scrypt, i will check that app.

Edit: Look like prifinity is dead, no hits except years old stuff asking how to get prifinity.

I still need a fix, I have a solid 50 wu loss since i fiddled with this (without running IGP) and still a 300 kh loss when running on IGP X_x
4545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Enabled GPU while on IGP, now hashrate suffer and gpu doesnt report? on: April 19, 2014, 04:45:22 AM
I'm still looking for help, i'm 400khs short when running on IGP and i have trouble keeping my WU up since i installed intel IGP drivers.
4546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Enabled GPU while on IGP, now hashrate suffer and gpu doesnt report? on: April 18, 2014, 10:25:26 PM
two steps forward, cool.

Now maybe some else with knowledge mining the r290 can step in Smiley .

I have not mined in a long time. I am out of date with the new stuff, need to get my ass on a roll.

Wink Thanks for your time.

Ahah, thanks for the encouragement on partial victory.

Well its not really fine tuning, its way lower than running it out of the box.

"api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1",
"api-listen" : true,
"failover-only" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"gpu-engine" : "1030",
"gpu-fan" : "63",
"gpu-memclock" : "1450",
"gpu-powertune" : "12",
"temp-target" : "85",
"temp-overheat" : "90",
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "25601"

900kh when running with only GPU, 540kh when running monitor on IGP.

Isint much to play with here, i tried TC and intensity which doesnt change much (+ or less 20KH), i cant really play with clocks much because i get that OpenCL and ADL did not match, Hardware monitoring may NOT match up with devices! lookup gap is a big nono to touch and there isint anything else to touch =/
4548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to enable an inactive GPU for mining while using onboard for browsing? on: April 18, 2014, 09:47:29 PM
I found a solution, i installed a specific intel driver pack and enabled a hard to find setting in bios to enable virtu support. Now gpu support OpenCL while using igp for monitor and other stuff, but hashrate dropped by 35% and no temp/hasrate is being reported by the GPU. What gives?
4549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to enable an inactive GPU for mining while using onboard for browsing? on: April 18, 2014, 08:46:22 PM
Me too, but i figure i'm missing something simple, since i very much doubt i'm the first person to encounter this problem and i don't see thousands of people whining about it like i.
4550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to enable an inactive GPU for mining while using onboard for browsing? on: April 18, 2014, 08:38:22 PM
Are you using windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit, or even using windows7 at all?

*shrug*

Are you saying i temporarily get a second monitor?

A few users reported forcing output on software side with "detect" when you go to the display->screen resolution screen, then a "output not detected" button supposedly appear and would then let you force virtual output on r290 without having anything plugged in. But i don't see such thing. Nor do r290 appear there.

Both my recent motherboards and the 290 have that DVI-D plug which cannot be dummied. My 7 years old dead lcd screen that doesnt work is DVI-D too.

I don't know if i'm missing a little something so i can force output or there is something wrong with my i3, as i can't seem to find the right drivers for it and i can,t install opencl 1.2 for intel.
4552  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to enable an inactive GPU for mining while using onboard for browsing? on: April 18, 2014, 07:56:51 PM
I have an i3 3220 (hd2500) running on b75m-gl.

I don't think its the board as the r290 is detected, even by miners, but OpenCL is disabled when booting on the IGP.

Finally read through the 4 page of mostly dummies and dummy plugs.

There's nothing new:

-You can use Dummy plugs(Obsolete)
-You don,t need Dummy Plug if you install current drivers for amd and intel.

My guess is there is something wrong with intel drivers because i can't install opencl for igp (it says computer does not support requirement), it wont install i3 igp drivers for same reason, wont install other version of seemingly related to HD Graphics 2500 for same reason, website auto detect doesnt work.

It just seem to me that Open CL isint working properly, GPU-Z say that Open CL isint supported for both IGP and dGPU when monitor is plugged onboard. Simply rebooting with GPU as primary then renable Open CL support for GPU.

Atm AMD and AMD SDK is installed successfully.

13.12 and beta doesnt work, manually installing amd sdk doesnt work, CGWatcher list the card as INACTIVE.

Uninstall all the drivers (of the GPU) and reinstall the desired ones.

What? I'm asking how to enable inactive GPU without a dummy plug so i can mine.

4556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Enabling GPU not connected to a monitor Win7 on: April 18, 2014, 10:45:17 AM
Still looking, Virtu MVP doesnt seem to work, i get service not working properly, closing. Error.
4557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Enabling GPU not connected to a monitor Win7 on: April 18, 2014, 09:54:16 AM
More specifically, i am trying to use my integrated intel HD by plugging my monitor onboard, while mining with my 290 that has no monitor connected. (290 is detected in hardware but i cant seem to mine on it, for example GUI miner doesnt detect it).

Help would be much appreciated.
Follow this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/384733/the-30-second-dummy-plug

That does not work, VGA adaptors have c1,c2,c3,c4 + a "+" shaped c5, current sockets have a "-" shaped socket and no c1 to c4.

Besides they say dummy adaptor has no longer been needed for 2-3 years as software has evolved. But i don,t see any option in display setting or amd control panel to force enable idle GPU. So i'm looking for a software fix.

At the top of the site, you list the current rates:

Scrypt: 2.09 GH/s @ 6.05 BTC/GH/Day
SHA256: 0.40 TH/s @ 0.07 BTC/TH/Day
S-A-Nf: 0.00 GH/s @ 6.80 BTC/GH/Day

Does the Scrypt-A-Nfactor rate account for its lower hashrate? As in, S-A-Nf is technically 13.6 BTC/GH/Day but since you get 50% hashrate with that algo, it comes out to 6.8 BTC/GH/Day.

Are you guys already converting the numbers to directly compare to Scrypt? If not, 6.8 BTC/GH/Day would really be 3.4, which is just atrocious.

Hopefully that question makes sense.

You might have missed the 0.00 GH/s part? SANf simply didn't take off yet. There isint much point spending a fee to list the order in the first place if you just get 2GH a day.
4560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash.com - rig owners needed - get paid more than mining on multipool! on: April 17, 2014, 07:22:31 AM
With earlier's upgrade, if it stays like this, i say 5 *, low reject, buyers pouring in.

Be clear bout the fee tho. If you take 2% from buyer AND sellers thats two time 2% fee.
