4542  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the purpose of your post ? on: December 23, 2020, 08:18:20 AM
What is your goal in posting ?
I find it rather amusing that you ask the purpose of posting on a discussion forum
Lol, this is a very funny way to start and of a truth, its amusing. if the quality of replies is good or solves a problem, isn't it worth the effort? The forum is a well moderated one and as such, users can be reported for various reasons with regards to their posts or replies and have it deleted. if you view campaigns and posts as a means to earning and as such, users just post to meet up requirement then I'll tell you these, there is a major labour instrument called MOTIVATION.

That's the purpose merits and the few cents from campaigns does. besides, if it were to be just posting, then you'll find many users creating more and more threads like you do @OP. Its not obvious you only create threads so far and not even discuss them despite replies you get. its as though your completely okay with every ideas presented to you. That's by far a hard way to discuss, its like creating threads just to stay active. The drive to learn makes you read and the need to discuss your conceived idea breaths forth the post.
4543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cyber Criminals dumped Ledger's hack database on: December 23, 2020, 07:58:22 AM
What worries me is that the criminals have gotten the physical addresses. We can change our email address, but our physical home? Yes, most likely this "cyber" criminals won't target our home, but it is not far fetch, and it could happen in the future.

So for Ledger users, we really need to be very very careful here, just saying.

That where the hit of the problem comes into play. some have got history with their home and as such a possible relocation for reasons of safety is often off the menu. This is how tangled and compromising ledger has got situation for a few users and with there terms of service, its unlikely possible to by pass filling in some necessary but compromising details and yet enjoy the full extent of a rather needed service. It becomes a problem, having your identity and address known and with the fact that your wallet address could be scanned easily and your worth or income relatively determined makes this escaped details a life threatening one.

Issues with emails can be resolved though not easily but then, its really disturbing when these security bridges happen. Ledger has to ensure extreme care on the people they work with as staff and the tight security protocols on its systems.
4544  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There should be no absoulte decentralization! on: December 23, 2020, 07:39:17 AM
There is no perfect system and that same thing with absolutism. Absolute decentralized is not effective nor absolute centralized system. Therefore a combination of both system should do in order to get an effective and efficient system.

1. The lack of authority from the crypto founder to resolve issues from its user.
i don't know how you tend to view this @OP but you don't expect a two distinct or directly contradicting view to work together, its like asking the democrats and the republican parries in the US political system to work together. decentralization is one of the bases of the stability of the cryptosphere. Tts a building block that shouldn't be tampered with. Bringing centralization into any aspect of it is as well trying to break its stability and i don't see how that helps. Besides, centralizatio9n has its own problems and their would be a lot of influence on the system. Decentralization may not be perfect and bringing in some elements of centralization doesn't or isn't going to make it perfect either. If we are to face the fact, its the decentralized nature of cryptocurrency that makes it enjoyable and a major attractant. Having freewill is everything, so long as what originates from your end has little or no effect on the other user. mistakes are allowed, it's a common human nature but, when you make them, you learn from them. its all part of the exercise.
2. Miners service are decentralize.
Who would ever thought that they could get you a 1$ transaction of a fee which could be more than a thousand dollar's fee? There is something wrong and miners should be held liable into this by only limiting the transaction fee to be deducted not more than the transacted amount. They are abusing due to the fact that their service is in demand especially the bullish trend of bitcoin.
To the best of my knowledge, fees aren't determined by miners, its based on the congestion of the system. its based on a complex algorithm set up to control the rate at which transactions are been placed and in turn determine how much activities could be done and time.

4545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies + Bounty = Zero future on: December 22, 2020, 04:13:54 PM
There is a truth about this and that trust is the fact that, most users are Here basically based on the fact that they want to earn and as a newbie, it becomes a major driving force which pushes you to bounty hunting!

I'm not surprised that most newbies do this. What I ask myself is, how do they get to identify and know what the bounty section is about more readily and easily? And the only answer I feed myself with is based on the way they've been introduced the forum to.
As a platform where you can participate in discussions and earn a few bucks so almost immediately, they are an instant bounty hunter not knowing of its consequences.

I'm not going to pent bounty hunting black or like must not do kind of thing but, if your target is to earn useless tokens or coins then your welcome to bounty hunt and be ready for a long pause otherwise, it's best to seek the knowledge the forum offers freely.
4546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hope people that give out personal address safe? Ledger wallet users' attacks on: December 22, 2020, 03:54:20 PM
When you buy a hardware wallet via official Ledger website the following information is collected; it stored for a long time:

- Your name (first name, last name);
- Your e-mail address;
- Your postmail address;
- Your phone number;
- Your physical address and other contact details;
- Your credit card number;
- Your other payment information;
- When you contact customer support, they will record and store their correspondence with you;
- You also may be asked to perform a small KYC procedure when contact customer support;
- Your IP address;
- Your operating system;
- The type of device you use;
- Date and time you visit the website;
- Browsing Data (information about your visit including the URL clickstream to, through and from our website, products you viewed or searched for, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction)

Source: https://shop.ledger.com/pages/privacy-policy
I don't know about others but to me, this is way too much information for a third party site. You don't give off all this much private details just to a third party site just to ensure to protect your privacy. Compliance with these needed information had very much made your data go public already. You don't know the person at the other end and in cases as these. In issues of privacy data, the less known to the third party, the more safe you are.

Ledger really need to look into there terms of service because it's really compromising a lot. Having a users private details like home address could lead to blackmailing and other crimes especially with the fact that, a user's wallet address could be scanned to know its content. It's not a fair way to operate.

Every crypto enthusiast who has eventually found him or herself here i consider a lucky or fortunate user. The strict rules of this forum has made the forum in such a way that, unverified jargon can not be published on the boards without being deleted or reported hence, information available are often on point.

Answers you get from this thread is just a tip of the ice berg though they are accurate but in complete. A full detail is put distinctly in the posts across board so, I won't be answering any of those questions directly rather I'll be giving you some insights on how to follow up and answer the questions by yourself.

All you've got to do is to develop a reading and research habit. Never feel a post is too ambigus to read, take your time to read through to understanding because, what doesn't apply in one post might answer the questions in another aspect.
4548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 22, 2020, 03:20:21 PM
Now this weekend we have a hard game between Leicester - ManU, Wolves - Spurs, Arsenal - Chelsea Wink
Its going to be a tough week and I'm having a hunch that the big teams are not going to do well in these games. Results from this games are going push big teams with little point difference down the EPL table.

We saw Wolves loose to Burnley this weekend after winning Chelsea so, it's very normal to expect a draw or win from them against Spurs in this encounter although coupled with the fact that, they've got the home advantage just like against Chelsea as well. It's going to be deadly, looking at the fact that Spurs lost there last game to Leicester city and are point hungry right now.
For Chelsea, it's going be a win for them.
4549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 21, 2020, 10:01:33 PM
Tammy Abraham has very much sealed the game for Chelsea. Two goals within 2 minutes (that is, 78-80 minutes time range).
I knew Chelsea was undoubtedly going to win this game as they've got zero reason not to. Looking at there recent game and there position on the league table, it only lives you to wonder how a team that was so closed to topping the EPL table found themselves fallen far away from the top 5. The drama in EPL this season has made it just amazing to watch.
It feels good to be visible on the top 5 spot of the EPL table, just hope Lampard doesn't mess things up no more.
4550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 21, 2020, 07:02:44 PM
Burnley 1 - 0 Wolves

 Shocked

I bet Wolves would win this game, but I see it was a big mistake to have made that bet
55th minute now Burnley leading by 2 - 0 they are doing very good right now.
You can imagine. This is a team that won Chelsea now loosing by 2 goals down to a team like Burnley in the early hours of the game and are really showing no sign or effort in scoring a goal talk more of equalizing. A loosing team with just a shot on target! The way I see it, Burnley is going to extend there hold on the match by adding more goals.
Wolverhampton is just another weak team when compared with other mid tier teams. They are just good at being unpredictable because, even with the knowledge you know about them, it's still not accurate enough to place a bet on. They really are a team to avoid in betting options, they aren't worth it. I just hope Chelsea wins there game tonight.
4551  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Duelbits.com | Signature Campaign ~ Full Members+ | Up to $60/Week on: December 21, 2020, 06:42:41 PM
Hi Hhampuz, I found 2 users who got negative feedback, I hope you can be wise and obey your rules in this campaign, if you don't remove these two accounts then don't mess this campaign with the rules you broke.

negative feedback
1. Alucard1
2. hulla

1. You "might" be removed without notice or payment.
2. You don't have to make a brand new account just to try and call me out, feel free to do it from your main, to date I've never had a blacklist or similar for people disagreeing with me (if you are a good poster you stand the same chance to join a campaign as anyone else).
3. Please, don't try and lecture me on how to run my campaign or how to abide by my own rules, this comes off as extremely petty.

Thank you!
Some users are just too happy to see another users fall instead of to help them get back on their feet. It's a very bad way to live. Rules are rules and it must be respected but, when a user fails, it doesn't make the community a lot more healthy, it only takes a substance that could have been vital in the future and besides, the complain came off rather too rudely @Unfairpeople which is obviously an Alt (Commiting a crime and trying to call out a crime). Your more like commanding the campaign manager on what must be done @Unfairpeople, please learn to be fair and how to present your case, it would help you a lot.
4552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 19, 2020, 10:31:34 PM
Can bayern be brought to leagues of high and mighty just like them, that is impossible, bayern are bigger than any club in the world on the pitch ATM, and a big and power-filled team never dies in a match, best time to be a fan of bayern munich, Lipzig might have been the only bad game I played to win, thought it was an easy game for Lipzig and a no-goals match was the peak of it all.
With all those consistency comes a last minute crash which is very much unexpected as Leipzig just did. Who would have anticipated a draw from Leipzig at home with a no challenge team as FC Köln but somehow, they managed to drag the game into an unexpected goal less draw. Kudos to FC Köln.

It's high time this Poland national Roberto Lewandowski be given a German name or title. His been able to conquer the bundesliga as though it was his home team. His brace very much wiped the snare of draw from the Bayern Munich this evening. His 90 minutes plus goal was crucial and he delivered. Awesome striker he is and Bayern is just without equal in Bundesliga.
4553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 19, 2020, 10:14:44 PM
Suarez is happy at his club and when he is happy he scores dozens of goals, they come in as the ATM favorite to be champions of spain.
Suarez's consistency amazes me and he never brags about it. His always doing his best to get the job done except in few cases where they face rival teams like Real Madrid that Athletico Madrid fails to escape the inevitable. Though, Athletico Madrid could be said to have a much better team with Suarez and Diego Coastal go foster it's attack.

Mean while, I think the best goal in Laliga this weekend goes to the Valladolid player Raul Carnero with his short right from the tough line of the eighteen yard box into the 90 degree angle of the goal post. Wow! It was a surprising short coming from a defender to drag the game into a Sevilla 1-1 Real valladolid draw at the 86th minutes and clearly won the King of the match. 3 draws in Laliga today.
4554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 19, 2020, 07:15:31 PM
Honestly Barcelona has always depended on messi Cheesy. I mean sure sometimes they were good even without him
Sure they did have a high dependability on this player but with the recent unstable situation not just in the Barcelona team but also amongst it's board, they are trying to see a way they can abridge that high dependability as seen in the few UCL games they played and won without him on the pitch. Surely Barcelona is far from what it has been and I think it's going to be hard recovering just because of this dependability that they had on the fact that, with Messi on the pitch, any other player can be good or the Barcelona squared is set.

Already two wins and two draws in the Laliga games today. Which lives me wondering what the outcome on Sevilla vs Real valladolid game would be but, I'm believing it to be a win for Sevilla.

Crystal Palace 0 - 7 Liverpool

 Grin

this was a game where liverpool managed to smash the crystal palace and the crystal palace failed to score at least 1 honor goal. does anyone still doubt that Liverpool will once again be a champion this season?

Southampton 0 - 1 Manchester City

does anyone still believe that City has the conditions to fight to be a champion?

This is a game were Liverpool exercised complete dominance and Crystal Palace was just an object of amusement, running on the pitch without making any significant impact. Not even a goal from a team playing from home that we would presume to have the home advantage!!! So much for a home advantage while Liverpool savaged them in a

Crystal Palace 0-7 Liverpool

Jurgen Klopps ingenuity pays off with both Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah both scoring a brace while the other team mates scores the rest goals to account for 7 in all. Liverpool and Klopp might seem like the Champ of EPL at the moment haven't been on top of the table for a second time this season but then, I sti believe it's too early to proclaim Liverpool the title winners for this season. The drama in the league is far from over.
4556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: December 19, 2020, 06:09:32 PM
There is no unanimous vote on any of these statement to be absolute, though.

All of them can be correct depending on perspective and which movement appeared first.
No doubt the truth isn't far from this and as rightly stated by OP, they are scenarios and they do play out just distinctly. Scenario 3 seems to be the most frequent and it's evidently the one at play right now but then, it is agreeable that, the surges in bitcoin is reflected in altcoins as it lives investors with the notion that, bitcoin has surge too high with the price so high, having an established altcoins isn't a bad idea and hope for a rise in the nearest future which accounts for the rise in altcoins markets.
This is still tied to bitcoin and a correction in bitcoin is relatively reflected in the later though, not so much.
4557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: December 19, 2020, 05:40:49 PM
Staying with altcoins is a decision, your decision and can't be away bad but then, you've got to ensure you pick the right coin with great potentials and it would be of great benefit to realize the fact that, Bitcoin remains the Boss and the growth of other coins depends highly on Bitcoin. Hence, a devaluation on bItcoin would have also be reflected in the altcoins market. It's some worth like a direct relationship.
Despite your decision to own or stay focused on altcoins, it might be of great benefit to own a couple of bitcoin as insurance in other not to loose out on the surges that bitcoin experienced because, we've surely not seen the last of it.
4558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need help posting this on: December 19, 2020, 05:03:07 PM
I have learned that we can download several instances of standard MT4 into separate files for each client and manage their accounts in that form and I have heard of the MT4 Multi-terminal platform also. Then there are sub accounts to the standard MT4 platform.
Forgive me but, I thought Meta Trader four (MT4) was peculiar to Forex trading while cryptos was basically on exchanges although, the MT4 is just an app that allows for the import of the broker you wish to trade with. Don't know much about that do I might just pause right there.

We want different investors to give us their funds and we will open an account for them and manage the trading for them in bitcoins. What is the best way to manage several accounts at the same time. Or do we just manage each account separately. Thank you I hope this makes better since.
When it comes down to investing, there is always a problem of trust both in your credibility and expertise so, your sure to face a lot of difficulty in this aspect of having investors invest with you and again, instead of managing several accounts, won't it be idea to have just a single account and have them monitored by your investors while, you share your profits based on individual investment percentages...
4559  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: December 19, 2020, 04:23:47 PM
^^^ This is extremely difficult stuff to think about. Why? We see only cause and effect operating in everything. But we, also, seem to have free will. Does this mean that our free will is controlled by cause and effect, so that it is not really free will at all?

We know so little, because God says that we have free will, even though we don't really know where free will exists within us.

Cool

Not God. People say a lot of things.  No God has ever said anything.  People who claim they hear God are actually hallucinating.

You cannot even define God according to your dogma, God exists outside of spacetime and is therefore undefined unknown.

Ask him to post here. LOL.

Religious people are delusional.  Some are mentally retarded and/or mentally ill.

"God speaks through me, blah, blah...", "I feel him in my heart, blah, blah...", "He must exist because, just because...", "He must exist because the Bible is true", "The Bible is true because it says so in the Bible" etc.
The believe in God has been an issue of controversy amongst many just as the series of comments that precedes this thread. Why should one be questioned on what he or she believes in? Just as you are answerable to your crimes in the law court, so do every entity on the phase of the earth. If you don't believe in God or god's and religion, you are as well a member of another unit of religion yourself and that is atheism. Why did you choose this path, it's because you had guts to question where the other religions say you should have faith. That's were most of the difference lies.

Believe it or not, your continues fight over a thing simply means you believing in it but then, you tend to look for a way to prove to yourseylf that it's real and actually exists. I see comments on this thread and it often talks about the God with an upper case 'G' which we've been told that, it refers to the God of heaven. By simply respecting that fact, it's a sign that there is a recognition of a higher power and besides, as much as we love to question the existence of a God, we should never forget that there are lots of questions science is yet to answer like, the never conclusive evolution theory.

I was taught that when a theory stands the test of time for at least a decade following scientific procedures, it becomes a fact but then, here is evolution theory, despite it's obedience to this procedure, it remains a theory! It is in eminent that, we can not always get the answers or result we seek hence, it's best you just go for what you believe in and give others the freewill to do the same.
Mind you, what you believe in works for you.
4560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin : the fight begins now on: December 18, 2020, 10:33:44 AM
A strong statement you say. It is not unusual to fight against what you can't control especially in the case of the government on blockchain and decentralized system. Governments have always been about revenue generation and seeing the advances in Bitcoin as it continues to gain in on value by the day, government knowing it's potential and no not how to tap revenue from it's source have no little choice than to fight it.

If we are to look on the bright side side of most of these statements, they as well aid in bitcoin publicity. Lots of persons are keen on news and statements as these and a lot of persons research and the theme while others wait on effect and when these effects aren't seen to be effective, it only means a considerable population might just join the network.

Clearly, I don't see government winning this fight or should I call it infringement of the people's free will. The fight on bitcoin is limited to a few nations especially in the developed world but then, other nations are looking to it's adoption and utilization of blockchain in the federations reserve though, warn it's citizens for the dangers that is associated with cryptos which is a step forward in the evolution of things.
Bitcoin is a network on the blockchain which is well protected and has adopted a P2P system which by passes most ways in which government would have had possible interference and makes it very difficult for any possible attack so, we as a community of bitcoin and cryptocurrency enthusiast are very much winning this fight.
