I wonder if Mark Caguioa is still playing as well.

Mark Caguioa is still actively playing in the league at 40 years old. Signed 1-year deal this season with the Brgy. Ginebra. But he is more taking a reserve role right now and as a fact, he just averaged 7 minutes per game last season.

Not bad for near retirement and still earning some money despite an average of 2.7PPG last season. Cheesy

As per his Coach Tim Cone, he sees MC47 to play for at least 2 years more before considering retirement. As you know in PBA, around 40 age is still not on a retirement period unlike in NBA where the late 30s is considering to retire.

You can also try this:

YouMeAndBtc

It also includes other Bitcoin units such as mBTC, uBTC, and Satoshis.

They used the live data from CryptoCompare Price Index on their conversion.

Started playing the SatoshiBattle last weekend and here's my quick review:
Is it worth to download? It's free-to-play and the site says isn't pay-to-win however there are some good advantages for those who pay, such the AFK auto-hunt..

Is it worth to download will be based on how you looked at the game. We have different preferences after all. I tested the game to provide at least some feedback as OP doesn't have time to test all games listed here in the thread. Somehow, I'm creating a references for others but I'm not playing the game regularly (but I opened it everyday) as I have other games too that I focused. I asked some help about the AFK feature on their thread but until today, not getting any answer. If I found a way to work it, I can grind there. There is also few players there. Last resort will be joining their Discord but not yet time to involve to the discussion there.

Is it Pay-2-Win? Pay-2-Win advantages is to get access at some good item achievements on the early phase. But at most of the cases, in terms of refine success, even Pay-2-Win players deal with the low chances. It's just that they have resources to gamble on it. I can't say for now if SatoshiBattles is pure Pay-2-Win and F2P won't be able to catch them in the long run. But all MMROPG online games are always Pay-2-Win. As long as you enjoy the game, you can also achieve those good items and good build as an F2P.

I'll give a try to Satoshi Battle, I'm downloading right now, it's quite slow to download..

Does the NPC buys your items? Or it should be sold to other players?

There are items that can be buy in NPC and there are marketplace for players trade. However, I don't see an active seller yet on the player's marketplace. Explore it mate and share it with me Cheesy The map however doesn't have enough info for NPC. You need to explore it. Also suggest it on their ANN thread as there might be a settings there to fixed it. I already explore it but found nothing.
4544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does using trading Bots is more profitable than conventional trading? on: July 23, 2020, 08:29:43 PM
Well, it seems interesting to try and I hope this could help and see a positive result to the outcomes of my future transfer.
But I would like to ask everyone who already experiences in using trading bots and how this becomes effective in trading and boost our profit gains than stayed in a conventional trading system?

Using trading bots to expect more profit should not be the reason why you want to consider using it. You want to use it because you are having difficulty managing your trading activity as you have lots of works on the table. By using trading bots, the goal is to perfectly execute your set of strategies at the preferred time or event you want.

The result and effectivity of using these trading bots vary per users. There might be users that is doing good using it but it doesn't mean everyone will have the same good result. The best thing to do is to risk some of your funds and give it a test on a given period. From there, you can get the picture if using it will be worth your money.
4545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: July 23, 2020, 08:04:12 PM

So the expected charity match against Evander Holyfield (who is also gearing up for the possible return in boxing) will not take place soon.

Mike Tyson is looking great with his daily and regular practice since the pandemic period and successfully burn some weights in the process. He is really serious about his comeback aside from the good purpose that all his earnings will be sent to a charity.

On the other hand, Roy Jones Jr. can be considered as still in his good shape as seen in his last fight in 2018. He is age 49 at that time. He claimed he was injured prior to that last fight but still get the unanimous decision from all the judges. 2 years later, might be he in full recovery now. Can also be considered as still fresh from doing boxing compare to Tyson that will come from a very long break.

This will be definitely tough to choose who will win since it's an "exhibition match".

Their ANN thread is closed. I hope it will re-opened. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5214675.0

Just in case there are users here who tested playing SatoshiBattle here, I didn't know they have an active thread here aside from what I searched before.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5252932.0

I found the discussion there is active although the last post was July 11 prior to my recent post there.
4548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 21, 2020, 09:25:32 PM
I think most people approach crypto in the wrong way. With "get rich quick" approach.

If you come to crypto with such an attitude, you should never ever invest.

I might disagree. In some cases, people with a mindset like that becomes a better person afterward. Since that mindset of a quick-rich scheme will lead them into losses, they will now think about "how it happened?" "what's wrong in the process?". There are lots of people who enter crypto world with a mindset like that but eventually learned in the process.

Because of those mistakes, self-research will now take place. As long as they are serious to know more about crypto, they will now learn what should be the best thing to do.

There is no perfect investor. Sometimes, they need to experience mistakes before learning.
4549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Living with parents again could fuel the next Bitcoin bull run. on: July 21, 2020, 09:03:12 PM
And they work from home now, so they are saving money on transportation too.

Well if that's really the case, it's good. But....

...here in our country, in some cases, electric consumption + internet cost is not covered by employers or should I say, even just for a percentage.

So even employees saved money on transportation, it's useless since the expenses grow instead. Plus the fact that our electric and water provider do some sh*t in the computation of our consumption, it makes things worst.

As for the concern that this "savings" might trigger the next bull run, I don't think so. Not all are having the same experience as the one you mentioned.
4550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: July 21, 2020, 08:41:02 PM
Do you have an analysis on this first game, Lakers are the favorites now, so, is it good to take the Clippers here or Lakers?

Some of the L.A Clippers' key players might not make it on the resume of the tip-off (L. Williams, M. Harrel, I. Zubac etc.). Although we know K. Leonard and P. George can still carry the Clippers, at least, playing against the healthy Lakers should need a healthy lineup too. M. Harrel is notably doing good before the NBA canceled the season. He was even chosen by the ESPN panel as NBA's Sixth Man of the Year because of his big contribution to where the Clippers is now.

As for my own, I'd rather skip betting on Moneyline between these two teams. Although there are scrimmages before the official game, I see that they are still in the phase of being used to play in the environment inside the bubble.

I preferred Over 218 pts between the odds of @1.7- @1.9.
4551  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: July 21, 2020, 08:21:59 PM
For the people who was working online was less affected by this pandemic ,it mostly affect the people who is working under any private sectors.

Disagree. All are heavily affected either working physically or in front of the desk at home.

Take the example of the Business Process Outsourcing industry. One business they covered was processing sales and orders. Due to the pandemic, the volume of sales decreases to the point that it can now handled by only few people. Because of that, some employees were forced to take leave without pay. Since people are struggling financially, these employees look for a new job and so on.

There is no sector in the world that didn't feel the wrath of the pandemic. The good thing, after almost half a year dealing with the pandemic, some businesses are now slowly getting back on their feet.
4552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 21, 2020, 07:59:31 PM
You can't always catch the best moments but you can catch good moments and that's what you have to do to keep going on well.

Your example might hit the majority here including me lol.

Feeling regret is always part of the game. We can't just say it's our mistake that we didn't anticipate what will happen because, in the first place, there is no way we can tell it. As long as we bag some profits out of trading, take it as an achievement. It's way better than we sold because we want to minimize the loss.

What matters here is, just continue. Our experience will teach us how to deal with a different scenario.
4553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on Crypto.com's Earn and Binance's Savings? on: July 21, 2020, 07:43:30 PM
What do you think of these two options for making extra profit?
Do you think they are worthwhile?

No one knows if it will yield you a good return in the long-run.

While considering putting money at these investments, there will be really a time that you need to test the waters by yourself in order to know the result. Yes, harming some of your funds from your precious wallet.

I never tried both but let's say I will put my place to your situation, I will consider risking my funds to see if it will be worth it, of course as long as the site is reputable and does have good reviews to minimize the risks of being sh*t.
4554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 21, 2020, 07:09:27 PM

Return to practice for PBA teams delayed

Supposedly, today, July 22 is the date to resumed PBA practice.

So not just IATF, who already gave the approval to resume practice but PBA needs approval from the Games and Amusements Board, the Department of Health, and the Philippine Sports Commission.

I'm just curious here since IATF's decision is based on the recommendations of a certain body on which to PBA are GAB and PSC while DOH for health (one of the IATF chairs is the DOH chair). So why it turned out that there's no Joint Administrative Order for PBA to already resume practice.

Anyways, not a big deal. Maybe it has to do with Blackwater's decision to resume practice on their own.
4555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 21, 2020, 06:54:28 PM

Just watch how BTC progress. You can't just say to people that bitcoin should be treated "like that, that and that." Let them think the way they want.

Look at how far BTC evolves today. No doubt the adoption increase and those people who think bitcoin as a scam before changed their view about it.

One says 1 million USD in 1 year, another says 10 million USD and so on... stop it, please. You are doing it wrong.

Prediction and speculation is common and usual since BTC's inception.

It's up to you how will you approach it. Just don't be serious about it. You are free to ignore those.
4556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 21, 2020, 06:34:59 PM
I'm sorry, I am no Giannis hater, but I have a feeling he will never get a championship with his current team now.

I might agree with you here that's why I give myself 2-3 season for him, with Bucks or not. Being dominant "in the record" should be also accompanied by the team's achievement. Milwaukee is doing great so far with or without Giannis however as always, they are lacking during playoffs. Once he is able to at least bring his team into Finals, surely, he can now be lineup as the next face of the era. Giannis is currently on prime, start from nothing to stardom, I believed he will achieve that.

Pat Connaughton, Milwaukee Bucks -- Diagnosis announced on July 20
Eric Bledsoe, Milwaukee Bucks -- Diagnosis reported on July 16

2 role-key players of the Bucks. What an unfortunate event for them.

Good thing they already clinched the playoffs so no need to actually be aggressive to secure their preferred spot.
4557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] PVP Games Casino You Can Try on: July 21, 2020, 05:29:02 PM
in my country there is a Tongits Go Online Card Game which will be able to play with others player, chat and react features and play via coins which you can buy via loading your number, not really a casino but definitely enjoyable.

I'm hooked at that game but on their Chinese Poker - Pusoy Go.

I'm looking for the same gambling game in crypto but until now, still haven't found any. I don't like the randomness of shuffling cards that's why. Sometimes, 5 or more consecutive with bad cards with really no chance to win even how good you are - 2pairs, 3 pairs, 4 pairs then all of your opponent does have full, flush WTF!

My knowledge and talent, in reality, can't be applied to that game so I want a game wherein we can fairly say that cards have been shuffled properly. Also, I like to set up my own custom room so we can play gambling with my friends but currently not present on that game.

4559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Twitter Accounts Hacked & Used to Scam People on: July 21, 2020, 02:47:07 AM
I think the new entrants to this market will be victims of this plan and really don't have the knowledge to realize it.

Newbies are not that newbies anymore and somehow they can realize if something scheme is sh*t or not even the offer will come from big personalities. Good thing that the news spreads quickly for awareness.

Always be vigilant about what we saw on the internet. I know it's really tempting for others to risks some money if a certain big people are involved in that kind of investment but in any kinds of investment, putting time in DYOR is really necessary.
4560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 21, 2020, 01:18:53 AM
3 days left? I think he's referring to the pre-season resume.

I saw that image but in other news.

Yes, looking at their schedule, surely it is about their pre-season games.

July 23 against Dallas Mavericks
July 25 against Orlando Magic
July 27 against Washington Wizards

As per the discussion about ERAs, I think after MJ, Kobe, and Lebron, it should be between Durant, Leonard, and Antetokounmpo.

I preferred Giannis but I will give 2-3 season before I can tagged him as the next face of the era. And aside from that, he should at least reached the finals.
