The next stage is for Bitmain to fight back, and to add a TV screen option to their miners

Signatures aren't bad in themselves. If I add a link to one of my sites in my sig, then it helps that site with Google. If I promote a sponsor, then I may make a bit from affiliate commissions. All of those mean that I can decide where and what to post. The problems start with rented signatures, and the conditions that a renter paces on the posting habits required. For me a post requirement of 50 is trivial, I could knock that out in a day. However some members seem to have problems in making any decent posts, and they are forced to spam , or to create posts using discouraged methods.
The real solutions are good moderation, restrictions on new registrations, and specific boards for startup members. I'd like to give some merits to new members, but the beginners board is still useless for that. I end up putting more people on ignore, than finding posts to merit. Please get rid of the bounty, ICO Twitbook and other rubbish from that board, and lets make it a proper crypto introduction board.

The worst case will be when the bankers own all the Bitcoin, and they just trade it between themselves.

Am I the only one who thinks this is bad news? The Globalists want to neutralise Bitcoin. What better way is there to do it than to soak up all the coins, and take them away from the people who were to be the original beneficiaries. On the way you can create financial instruments to manipulate the price, and regulations to make it hard to use the coins.
Of course it will lead to a skyrocketing price, but how many of us will really benefit from that.

If he ran a node, and you have access to his computer, couldn't you just synchronise his wallet, and then transfer the coins. This assumes that he hasn't added additional password protection.

Who will be next? Theresa May?
Or will it be Soros to avoid accusations of sexual discrimination?

Stick to the normal posting guidelines for any forum.
- Don't spam or make low grade posts. - Don't capitalise titles if you start threads. I've just put load of members on ignore because there seem to be quite a few of those here today. - Read the stickies, and the threads to get a feel for the forum protocol - Don't ask about merits - Don't quote long posts in full.
and all the other things people have mentioned.

I've been posting in forums for over 20 years, and so far I have never rented my signature. I've promoted a variety of products with affiliate links, but these have all been services that I've used, and that I know are honest. By promting a site or product in your signature, you are hanging your reputation on it, and I believe you should research the product before you take the risk.
and I've had several offers over the years, including some in this forum. So far I have declined all of them.

This is going to seriously distort the ranking system.
I'm really having problems in awarding merits, and I'm trying to be a bit more efficient. I now ignore anybody who uses all capitals in a thread title, and this has cleaned up some of the indices. I don't seem to be getting any posters in my initiatives. Dr Gomez was the last one who submitted a translation post. In view of the number of merits he got for that, I'm surprised that more new members haven't jumped onto the bandwagon.
dMerits would help, but maybe seoincorporation could tout for good posters on the Spanish board.

scratching for pennies
is just plain wrong, and I bristle whenever I read stuff like that. But aren't the best bounty programmes really difficult to join? I see reports that some of the lesser ones offer fairly low payment, and then they try to avoid paying even these small amounts.

This project will be starting this week. I've ordered the hosting, and it will probably take me a couple of days to set up the installation.
Because the project allows for the real time editing of posts whilst discussing the topic via voice contact, it will have to be limited to approved members of the Fit to Talk English project. It will also require a Fit to Talk moderator to be online at the same time. It is anticipated that participants will be able to move their post over to the Bitcoin Talk forum, and they will receive any credit for this. The constructed post will be on a closed board to avoid any risk of plagiarism.

The problem with these threads is not so much the concept, but the fact that the merit topic has been done to death, and many such threads are just thinly concealed begging threads. I actually took you off ignore as I'm having a good day, but that shouldn't really be a factor, should it?
It might be worth you locking the thread before the spammers start to hit it.

I don't think it is going through a development stage. I think the banking elite are trying to move in on it. They want to regulate and control it, and they want to move as many coins as they can out of the crypto payment sector. This will probably result in a massive price increase, but render it unusable for everyday transactions. I expect it will end up rated as a AAA security, and it will be used by the bankers to underpin the value of their own digital currencies.

NO, and if you read the boards you will have seen that most members think of them as clutter. Most of the links tend to be to crap posts anyway.
I put you on ignore for not reading the forum threads or using the search function.

Well I'll have a problem. I've got a Blue Yeti, and it is supposed to be cardioid, but it still picks up ambient sounds. If this takes off, then I'll have to use a rifle microphone.

@seoinc
It will be a subset of the Fit to Talk member group. And if anybody abuses it, they will just be chucked off.
One way it could be used is for you and I to be online with a Spanish speaking member. He can select a thread on Bitcoin Talk where he wants to make a reply. He can start a post on FtT, and we can discuss this over the voice server, and edit the post in real time. When we all agree that is is a worthwhile post, then he can copy it onto the BT board.

So what do you think of Accorders.com as the domain name.
Accorders are people who bring harmony.

1) The forum has been designed for written-discussions. Therefore, it seems that you have had wrong approach to solve the problems. It is good for English learners in general, but is not really relevant to the forum.
Did you read my post? Of course the forum is for written discussions, but that doesn't stop people posting annoying pictures because they can't write text. My projects are preliminary stages to help people graduate to posting good text here. That is why they are off the forum. I don't want to help users who are happy to stay in the cesspits and the underworld here. However, not all members are like that, and I don't think the ambitious ones should be penalised because an accident of birth means they weren't exposed to the English language early in life.

I would use my own paid VPS hosting, and not a part of any of the other services.

I'm not sure I should admit this, but my primary motivation is anti-globalist. I don't want to help the spammers, but I do want to help genuine members who want to cope in a changing world, and who want to preserve their national identity. There are quite a few such members here, and these are the guys I would like to help. It's really a coincidence that this initiative coincides with the improvement of Bitcoiin Talk. Bitcoin and the better crypto are going to play a major part in helping people to survive in the new world. I chose Teamspeak because it can run alongside other applications, and many gamers use it. I'm not a gamer, but many gamers make valuable contributions, if you can get them to leave their joysticks alone that is. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I hope that by restricting membership, administering it won't be too onerous, and can be a bit of a sideline. I have a volunteer who will help me to set up the VPS, and that will be a useful excercise for me.
