I encountered this so many times in my site and even in my youtube videos, people there asked me if how can they get a private key of watched only address, And I told them that's impossible and there's no way to that.
When I asked them what really happens and someone told me that she met a guy in facebook, and this guy told her that he will give her bitcoin/s in exchange with her blockchain's login details. The same with OP this guy imported a wallet address, obviously it became watch only address and he get the funds on that wallet too I guess its 0.005 IIRC.
That's why its so stupid that someone will give you some sort of free money in exchange of your wallet's login details. So stop believing it.

No, don't trust them, they can't even implement SSL on their website for payment purposes and users security while it didn't even cost 30$ so why not? And the site looks so dull so its a no no to me plus they are based in china and AFAIK china bans all the activities related to crypto together with the selling of miners.

Well, in your case your doge are totally lost, you should serve this mistake as a lesson. Keep in mind that every crypto wallet needs always a backup since the owner is always the responsible to keep his/her funds safe. Once you/someone didn't do it you will end up losing your funds/coins. |

I will not trust this site even a single penny from me. Besides from the sources posted above, they don't have any information on the internet yet and even any active social media accounts. And don't have any contact information like email except their site's support which I'm afraid of. To sum this up, stay away and use some trusted exchange instead. Seems it has good arbitrage opportunities.
And there's no arbitrage opportunities in that site I tell you. |

I'm not really familiar with Samourai wallet but I tried them a long time ago but I just uninstalled it then. In your case are you sure that you send those 0.3 BTC in a correct wallet address of yours? and its a part of your Samourai wallet? Maybe you can post the address here or try to check it manually in https://blockchain.info, just search your wallet address on the site if there's still a balance and no outgoing transaction happened. |

This is quite possibly the WORST advice ever given to anyone regarding security of their seed mnemonic  Most probably... DO you really have tried to memorize your seed?
I highly doubt that someone memorizes this 24 recovery phrase already. Instead, save this confidential information in a safe place offline that only you knows. by mistake I created 2 accounts in the nano s ledger since I did not understand its operation and I kept the wrong security key now I have that money that I do not know how to recover it
Could you tell us if the address above is the currently used on your ledger? or not? if not then those funds are forever lost, just sorry for your loss this should be served as a lesson to you. |

This 2 last site are not familiar to me, but it seems icochamps runs just this year and last month particularly and I wonder how they rate the risk of any project while all site/service that require investments involve high risks.
And obviously all rates/reviews can be manipulated once money talks.

It's steal. Every time you send you coins they disappear.

So, it isn't really the Ledger device itself... but the Ledger Chrome App that is susceptible to this particular issue. Users who use Electrum (and other 3rd party Ledger compatible wallets) are less likely to face this problem. Assuming of course they're running the newer versions that patch the JSON RPC flaw  Having said that, anyone who just hands out Bitcoin Addresses without validating them first is asking for trouble. As with all crypto related matters... a healthy level of paranoia is a "Good Things"™ Okay. Thanks for the information, I am a bit shit here while reading above posts except with this reply since I used ledger too  but the good thing I never ever used their chrome apps. I always used electrum and mycelium to send and receive with btc using ledger and myetherwallet in ethereum. |
