1. No SSL
2. Bad interface
3. No proof of authorization
These are enough reasons for you to know that you won't get any visitors on your website.

4542  Local / India / Re: Crypto ATM in India. Would it be worth it ? on: April 16, 2020, 02:15:59 PM
This isn't the complete truth. ATM seize and owners' arrest weren't due to illegality of Bitcoin but due to the wrongful usage of term 'ATM'. In India, only banking sector can establish ATM machine. Other NBFCs can establish ATMs but setting up such ATMs require prior RBI approval and certain other requirements. But Unocoin arbitrarily set up machine and named it ATM. However, Unocoin could have avoided the aftermaths if the company used the term 'kiosk' instead of 'ATM'. The machine wasn't ATM in real essence. It was rather operating through Unocoin online account which puts the machine into mere definition of Kiosk.

Machine and the mechanism itself wasn't violating the RBI direction and was completely legit even before Supreme Court decision. However, it was the use of term 'ATM' which provoked State Police to take action against the owners. Even now when ban is lifted, setting up such machine and using the term 'ATM' would lead to retaliation from authorities.

I found a relevant video online from Crypto Kanoon youtube channel, he explained the situation beautifully in Hindi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwGODpXGlv8&feature=emb_logo
Yes you are right. I remember reading an article at that time which mentioned that the issue was due to it being called an ATM.
They did mention that it was merely a Kiosk. But then I wonder why did they not rename it and launched it again.
Also, why did they not launch the kiosk again after the ban was uplifted in India since they launched their exchange again.
4543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safety first before trading on: April 15, 2020, 02:25:04 PM
What's new about what you mentioned in OP ? Most of the traders are aware of such things.
The things to consider about is safety is

Keeping your crypto in safe locations
Not mentioning about your crypto balance in public
Diversifying your crypto to minimize the risk

These are points you should have mentioned
4544  Local / India / Crypto ATM in India. Would it be worth it ? on: April 15, 2020, 01:52:42 PM
It's been about 1.5 years since the first ever crypto ATM was launched in India. The first Crypto ATM was launched by Unocoin and was placed in some mall in Bengaluru. Unfortunately, Crypto was not legal in India at that time and hence the police seized the ATM and arrested it's owners.

Source: https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/india-s-first-cryptocurrency-atm-launched-bengaluru-90117

Things are changing now since India has uplifted the ban on cryptocurrencies. But the questions are

1. Does uplifting the ban gives the right to people to launch a crypto ATM ?
2. If a crypto ATM is successfully launched without any restrictions from any authorities how good would it be for us?
Would it be worth it ? How do you think it will bring a change in India ?

4545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 15, 2020, 01:39:39 PM
Firstly, Gold can be bought online and saved online in the form of stocks. There are stocks backed by gold and in our country they are called Sovereign Gold Bond.

What you describe is NOT, NOT, NOT gold... It is well known that there are about 500 ounces of PAPER GOLD for every ounce of real gold, so what you would be buying is paper backed by nothing  Shocked Shocked Shocked

That works until confidence is lost, then it does not work and your paper is worth ZERO   Angry Angry Angry

Hard Facts
SGB is not the same thing. The units are measured in grams here and the minimum requirement is to buy 1 gram of bond and it's price is equivalent to 1 gram of gold. Also, you gain additional interest to hold those bonds. I consider holding SGB more than physical gold itself considering the pros and cons of SGB vs physical gold.
4546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO NEWS:FBI Warns COVID-19 Scammers Are Targeting Crypto Holders. on: April 15, 2020, 01:25:02 PM
The covid-19 situation has given the scammers a good opportunity to scam the people.
But I think it's not new for the crypto users since scammers are finding new ways to scam people every year.
Such scams have been happening from a long time now and I think people have become more of aware of such scams.
4547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline cryptocurrency transfer? on: April 14, 2020, 03:45:26 PM
LOL  Grin It looks like a click bait.
It's definitely not an 'Offline cryptocurrency transfer' since the transaction is indirectly being done online.
It's just that you are sending a message and the crypto exchange is doing the transfer for you.
Not a big deal in my opinion.
4548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Not To Sell BTC On Crypto ATM! on: April 14, 2020, 03:42:42 PM
Which ATM spits out money like this ? I have only seen ATMs giving out money in bundles.
Never have I ever seen an ATM spitting out money like this  Grin  Grin
Must be fun seeing raining money.
4549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: April 14, 2020, 02:42:49 PM
We don't know what the future holds for us and nobody can accurately predict if a crisis can evolve or decline bitcoin.
In my opinion, we should try to invest in many things and diversify our portfolio for real.
Bitcoin can be one of our inevstments. Also, we should learn to live with the least amount of things.
If we can survive without selling our bitcoins then we should not consider selling it at all.
I am pretty sure I don't have any need right now to sell it and so I will be holding it for a very long time.

Firstly, Gold can be bought online and saved online in the form of stocks. There are stocks backed by gold and in our country they are called Sovereign Gold Bond. And about the comparison with bitcoin, if we talk about the long term then Bitcoin will be much valuable than gold because of it's finite supply whereas gold can be mined anytime and hence won't be that valuable in comparison to bitcoin.

This is my entry for Eality
Given his age and stature, I think this is perfect.
This is really funny  Cheesy, he was a healthy person but when i last met him he was having a belly  Cheesy. So it is an almost perfect depiction.

It is fun to see everything and i hope everyone is safe.

I am eagerly waiting to meet his beer belly and all the accompanying flat bellies that might surround him.  Grin Grin
This is really sad as we are locked down and still have no fun I was expecting some good activity here on this thread from members but no one posting any thing common guys please be active as now I am back after few days with good news I was feeling on seasonal fever no Corona  Roll Eyes Wink
I was kind of hoping a long discussion on this thread too. Although people did post a few pics I guess it could have been more fun if more people would have participated. I still don't know why people hesitate so much to contribute on the Indian board.
I am sure many newbies have joined the board recently but I hardly see any of them making any posts.

The lockdown should have given everybody enough time to rejoin this board with greater enthusiasm but things are the other way around.
In current lock down situation we really need to have things like this as most of members frustrated and have no enough activitites so this could be good and better for mind change but now feeling we are really in tech world where all wan to live alone not in groups and want to have fun as we have few decads back on streets and small gatherings.
Well if that's the case then I won't mind that too since I am myself a nerd when it comes to tech stuff.
In that case we should be discussing more on the tech stuff on this board and besides that challenging each others to develop more stuff and help each other in cases of any bugs/issues but I don't see that either. I do know that there are some people here who are professional developers but besides that nobody actually is like challenging each other to develop more technical stuff.
4553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Demand for Bitcoin online courses explodes by 300% on: April 13, 2020, 02:48:17 PM
Good to know that people are specifically interested in bitcoin courses rather than being interested in blockchain courses first.
I thought people are only wasting their time on the internet in this pandemic because many people in my country are only wasting their time on social media playing games and making videos. Good to know that there are people who are interested in learning as well.
4554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: April 13, 2020, 02:31:25 PM
In my case, as a freelance graphic designer that accepts crypto. I do save the every 5% of my salary or every project in my bitcoin paper wallet. This is for my family and for my kid's educational fund in the next decade. I believe this is far better than investing in banks.
It is indeed better than depositing the money in banks. Banks just give about 5% in savings account (5% is rare too) whereas saving money in BTC can turn out to be really profitable. Saving 5% of your earnings is a good thing you do but I think 10% would be more better since you would be saving more in BTC which you can use yourself in future.
4555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Education on: April 13, 2020, 02:19:37 PM
I don't know about cryptocurrencies but there are courses related to the blockchain technology available in many universities through out the world.
Cryptocurrency and Blockchain is an advanced topic and hence only it's basics can be really taught in schools.
Once people understand the algorithm of finding a block then computing it with mathematics will encourage students to learn more about it.

4558  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: April 13, 2020, 01:36:26 PM
I've seen firsthand that bustabit won't mess with your funds. There's a user who routinely scams people in the community, and he regularly plays with stolen money- usually hundreds of thousands of dollars. Some of these thefts have even been in the news. Yet, bustabit has never locked his account once, and at a time he was even allowed to withdraw 1,000+ BTC. This sucks for me personally since he scammed me of a lot, but I have to say with begrudging respect that no matter who you are, criminal or not, your money is safe on bustabit.
Using good things for bad purpose is what scammers do. You say that the scammer scammed you a lot.
Does it mean that he has scammed you multiple times or has he scammed you more money in one go.
In any consequence, you should consider telling the people how he scammed you so that the rest of us are aware of the method and are safe from the theft.

This was asked a couple months ago and scripts for claiming free Bitcoin 24/7 is illegal and it will only be a matter of time before they are caught. Also using scripts can be risky as you never know where the script comes from and they can steal your Bitcoin unless the person using the script creates it them self.
Well it's obvious. If it's not your own script then you must not use it at all for you never know how it's coded.
There are thousands of scripts on the internet that claim to help the user in some way but rather it is used the sacmmer to fetch critical data from users.
It's always better to user open source scripts or your own scritps.
4560  Economy / Gambling / Re: BSpin.io | Bitcoin Casino | Instant deposits | Slots, Games and Lottery on: April 11, 2020, 01:53:19 PM
Can somebody help me in withdrawing my funds from Bspin.io ?

I had recently received 50 FS (free spins) as a bonus from Bspin.io and hence I consumed the 50 FS and got 150.00 µ฿.
I already had some balance in my account and hence thought to withdraw the total amount to my BTC address.
But as per their rules we cannot withdraw the amount until the bonus is active.

For some reason I thought if I use the 150.00 µ฿ then may be I would be able to withdraw my balance.
So I played some games and used the 150.00 µ฿ and won 231 µ฿ .

I again checked the bonus tab in my account and it still shows that bonus active and I have wagered 160.00 µ฿.
I just want to withdraw my balance but I am not sure how to do it. Can somebody help me with it?
