What I am saying is you are insinuating that people are LOSING money by using the pool because its STEALING it because its too dumb to log fails.

When in reality its holding the funds and waiting for you to click the withdraw link in the email.  Thats not stealing.  Im trying to say if you look at your transaction log, ds at that address, so I cant help you.  But I assure you the BBP is still there whenever you want to debug this, email me your username.

Anyone else have any issues with the pool ripping anyone more than 0.00 BBP?  Post them here.

Im not insinuating anything. When did I say anything of what you are writing? Maybe you have me confused with someone else and want to take it out on the next guy that brings up an annoying issue. You get too sensitive if someone disagrees with you and jump on them. You did this before when I was calling out a better model for the pricing of masternodes. Just accept the fact people will have different opinions than you. I think you want to do some kind of 'pr damage control' when someone says something. Relax. Everyone loves biblepay thats why they freak out when they cant get their coins!

And im sure you had a long day and you DO work very hard. I honestly do respect you for that Rob. You got some kind of laser shark focus. Good on you. Just point the laser away when you look up and fry the guy tapping on your shoulder.

Yes we misunderstood ourselves on the tx id. I did check my email and my test removal of 100 coins didnt go through. Im going to hold off any withdrawals till I know no one else is complaining so I know its safe. Ive stopped mining all together as I do not agree with the 8% tax now. Thats another story.

Yes privacy is ultra important to me. Logging IPs is a big no no and you should frankly disclose everything you are doing on the back end so people know whats going on when they transact with you/pool. Transparency

Anyways, just one more question. Why the new minimum on 100 bbp?

Im making the point that I dont think its a good practice to claim you lost 400 BBP before looking at the transaction log, and providing evidence of the lost coins - but then you didnt post that to back up your claim that you lost 400 publically.  Btw, one other thing is if you did that, you would be referencing either missing TXIDs or tracing TXIDs.

Where did you get the idea that we log IPs?

The 100 bbp minimum is to reduce the withdraw frequency.  Please dont reply that Im keeping small balances, there will be a way to withdraw < 100 once every 2 weeks.

I just downloaded the new wallet WIN64 installation updates, but many places show?Huh?? The wallet can't be used to help me?

Which language are you set in?  I hate to suggest it, but please try a different language.
Then we can have a translator work to re-merge the bad language.

I replied on reddit, and explained that issue to the user also.

If you want privacy then you should have emailed me with the issue!  I respond to the Emails related to pool problems all the time.  You didnt have to publically try to disgrace the pool, thats why Im debugging this with you in public.

In regards to privacy, as you can see I tried to make the pool completely private when it started.  Now, it is simply requires email verification to make withdrawals more secure.  Thanks to the Russian hackers.  If you dont like it, please design a better pool and deploy it to prod.  This is the nature of a pool, its a public shared site.  The pool info is not stored in the blockchain.

Regarding your BBP address, I dont see a BBP address that ever withdrew funds at that address, so I cant help you.  But I assure you the BBP is still there whenever you want to debug this, email me your username.

Hi All,

Withdrawals are open again on pool.biblepay.org.

Please let me know if you have any problems : contact@biblepay.org or here.

NOTE:  I will lower the pool fee as soon as we get closer to being in the black.

does not appear to work. says check email  and not tx id like before. nothing pending on the chain. ive lost around 400 today try to withdrawal.

Not true- Every tx in the pool is logged.  Dont spread false info and lies here.

Whats your username?  Lets go through the lost transaction.

Both exchanges asked to remain anonymous until go-live, but agreed to negotiate for 1.6BTC each because of our cause.

I think this is absolute fantastic, so I updated the poll.  They want to wrap this up in 7 days, so please vote.

We will not go live until 2018 so as to finish our mandatory upgrade first.

Rob, that's amazing! Yes from me.

Thanks, Its very good for us, considering what we had to go through in the other group to get in one of them and as compared to what the going rate is now for coins trading with the big dogs.  They are definitely helping us for the cause of Orphans.

Btw, the reason the market is crashing is ME, lol.  I have to unload some BBP to give these exchanges the down payment required to start
locking the proposals otherwise they both get voided.

(Also, imo its better to start now, because of the tear BTC has been on).

NOTE:

The Pool is receiving an upgrade throughout the day but it will not affect mining, only withdrawals.
The withdrawals are temporarily suspended while this new system is put in place.

I will post again as soon as withdrawals are open.

Note that I have to raise the pool fee temporarily due to the security event.

Thanks for your patience.

I wanted to mention a feature we have coming at Christmas called E-commerce.

It lets US citizens buy products on amazon through the wallet (primarily because the wallet only supports address validation in the US at this time).  We are working behind the scenes getting Walmart on board also.  I have been notified that Europe deliveries will be possible in a few months if we have some volume in the US test market.

Anyway the reason I mention this is the pool website has additional new fields in the account settings page for name, address, city, state, phone.  I just wanted to say this is only required for E-commerce for Pool purchases.  Not for wallet purposes.  So we are not trying to track you, the fields are optional, and those only need to be filled out if you want to buy some Great Tribulation food in the Pool.

As far as buying from the wallet, I'm working on this guide:
http://wiki.biblepay.org/Ecommerce

There will be fields in the client that allow you to buy directly from the wallet without the pool.

Hopefully we will be the first crypto with built in Amazon products for sale.  Now you can spend your biblepay on real products.

Hi Rob,

Just for clarity, the new e-commerce feature allows us to buy products through Amazon. Are they specific products (i.e. ones that you/someone else lists in the wallet) or could we buy something random from Amazon (for example, a socket wrench)?

I think being able to spend crypto using Amazon may allow us to get the volume enough for the debit card. Imagine that!

I love how many unique and novel features you are integrating into BBP. It is fascinating to see!
Thanks Rob, you are doing a great job!

EDIT: I remembered the word I was looking for!
This project is full of innovation!

Thanks a lot!
Thats a great point.  If the user could actually choose any product they need, the floodgates of usage would skyrocket.
Right now, in its infancy, I have to whitelist the productIDs by running a command that inserts the AWS productID in a table, then the Mouse API honors that list when someone tries to list the products.  (The products are currently the same ones the pool has in the 'store').

However, we could make a bridged process between 'adding' a product and buying any product.  Maybe a command to insert a new product (by anyone).  Once the system checks to ensure the vendor is good (IE has inventory, is shippable, cost of shipping is OK) then it could be added automatically and then the purchase could go through.  Sounds like a great idea, thanks!

Rob, how is it going with Bittrex?  Have you been able to get in touch with them?  Their enhanced account verification is pretty automated and doesn't take too long to get approval.  It took less than a half hour to get my account done.  If they decided to list biblepay it looks like they would list it for free and charge 3 BTC if we wanted it spotlighted.

I contacted them multiple times and know someone there, and have not received a reply.  (I am on bittrex in my other community).
Feel free to contact them and ask them to list us.

I will do the verification step after you get a confirmation.

Its a pity this ICO does not include one line of code.  The roadmap might be adjusted to change "Yacht gathering of Prestige Token Holders" to "Jesus splits the Mt of Olives in Two" and all of those who loved riches more than him will realize their judgement is Depart from me, I never knew you- Oops you should be storing up your treasure in heaven.

The Team tab says it all : https://privilegecoin.me/teamtoken-holders/
Whats surprising is how many Ether they will receive from people who do not do any due diligence.  I guess the creator thinks its actually funny to bilk people.

Is the price for upcoming sanctuaries known already?

They are 1,500,001 BBP.

Sanctuary Escrow Requirement - Christmas 2017:
The escrow requirement is 1,550,001 BBP per Sanctuary.  (Thats approx. $1,250 USD).

Hmmm, is it 1,550,001? or 1,500,001?

Sanctuary guide also says 1,500,001:  http://wiki.biblepay.org/Create_Sanctuary

Sorry, had to re-read the old post.

Yes, 1,550,001.

I edited the last post.

Dash will release the Evolution upgrade soon with Dapi and much more. Dash is the future.

Unless you have a way to keep the dash core business model and ADD Stratis features. That would be great.

Also, FYI, there is already a Stratis fork name Obsidian.

Quick update on State of The Biblepay, and a request for any constructive criticism on a potential new idea.

I took a look at Obsidian, and Im happy to say that so far it is actually a port of Stratis with the Obsidian-QT wallet - meaning it does not yet include any Prod c# code, or c# UI.  The UI in the Obsidian-QT wallet is the same as our Biblepay-QT wallet (minus the masternodes).  The thing they are releasing at Christmas is messaging for Android - not c# web UI either.

Thats good because that means we have a wide open space to do something pioneering with Stratis still.

We might not be the first as this is a HUGE project.  I think it will take a quarter to release a proof of concept.

But its good to know we might be able to focus on this project for something very original and bright for BiblePay.

I was thinking of a huge potential side effect we might inherit if we ever have a c# wallet.  We could literally add hundreds of gospel features in the wallet without breaking compatibility with a very quick release schedule as the codebase would be pool compatible, and in addition we could add tons of windows forms features to the code.

I received this question:
Do you have paper wallets so I can give Bible Pay as Christmas Gifts

Thanks

Yes, I think we should add features such as BiblePay University, so we can have Bible Tests, and reward those who take the tests with variable amounts of BBP (depending on the grade).

Thank you for your positive comments, and the plug - but Please don't quote the whole OP LOL as it will spam the board, thanks a lot for understanding.

What is the difference between the hps vs hps2? can you expand on the differences please.

Welcome aboard Saint!

The HPS in the pool is the speed your machine is advertising to the pool.  The HPS2 is the speed the pool is measuring (for your node).
The pool pays rewards based off of HPS2.

We are temporarily leaving them both in for debugging of f8000.  Eventually we can remove HPS, and recaption HPS2 to HPS to simplify things (probably around Feb of 2018)! Sorry for the confusion for now, we have been tweaking the PoBH since inception to try to use all the processor but prevent people from gaining by running multiple copies per node and I think we finally have it ready for Christmas.

4579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay - New Coin Launch - Official Thread on: December 09, 2017, 02:35:14 PM
On the topic of Mining Rewards in f7000:

The proof-of-bible-hash function currently has a "node mutex" in it.  Some processors max out the node mutex faster than others because of the wait queue for shared data.  If you are experiencing this I would recommend trying the 32 bit version of biblepay.  (I dont officially recommend running multiple copies of biblepay as that is not something I condone, as I like high quality nodes, in addition that workaround is going away at Christmas).

I do want to say that at Christmas F8000 will be enabled designed to solve this problem (At Christmas we are moving to a processor mutex.
).   You can meet us here:
http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=16.510
and reproduce the issue there by running the latest version with -testnet flag, and comparing your f8000 hashspeed across your two reference machines.  You should see a more equal HPS in testnet right now (with 1.0.6.0+).  If that solves your problem then dont worry about just wait til Christmas for the new release.

Thats why its a moot point to put much effort into this here in Prod when the algo will be changing in only 15 days.

That brings up a good point- anyone with any last minute feature requests or bugs, please go to the testnet forum and lets talk about them now.  Alex is running valgrind and has been helping me clean up the software to prevent any crashes after Christmas.  We need to work all fixes in within the next 7 days as we have to finalize the release.  CCEX will need 14 days notice to upgrade, therefore our mandatory schedule will need to be T-14 for a Christmas release.

Quick update on State of The Biblepay, and a request for any constructive criticism on a potential new idea.

Anyway the reason I mention Stratis, is I think it would be interesting if we were the first Altcoin to run a Stratis fork.  I was thinking, I have the team behind the scenes that could potentially port Stratis into Biblepay and Biblepay into Stratis, and we could write a new C# UI, one that is not web based (that would be Windows native forms based as an EXE download).  So our contribution to Crypto in this case is we would check-in the ability to run a stratis back-end on an altcoin with a Windows native UI (IE that is biblepays contribution).  The Second contribution would be adding PoBH (our hash class), and the Third would be adding Dash masternodes To the Stratis core.  So another words, we would have a native windows wallet download with masternodes, a new UI, and full sync-compatibility with the existing Biblepay wallet and keys....  I would estimate this project "could" potentially make BiblePays marketcap worth at least $100MM.  (As Stratis is $795MM).  It also gives us SegWit (which we have a quote request out for), allowing us to run Lightning Network in the future.  Its an exciting project, that I think devs would want to jump in and help us with also- as I know the c# corporate workplace is very deep- and that could ensure our long term stability as well.  I truly think this project could be done along side our normal Gospel enhancements, in a safe way.  (Safe as in parallel until the Stratis wallet works).  We basically would release a windows wallet that would sync in a compatible manner to the Berkeley wallet, and offer a separate download.  If this project took off, we could refocus our support into the c# wallet and find a way to port the c# to mono, and stop developing berkeleys wallet (to have one codebase in the future).   It does offer an interesting perspective, to support one codebase that is potentially c# in the future.  And finally this idea opens up one more huge market for us that is harder on the berkeleydb side: Stratis smart contracts.  Stratis is working on that, and I feel our future full dev team can integrate smart contracts into the stratis code, contracts that are more efficient.  Ones that offer consensus based on c# code (instead of the bitcoin main chain), and - possibly, smart contracts that execute actual c# language code (meaning they could be very complicated contracts).

The primary reason I write all this is to invite any constructive criticism on the idea.  No I dont want to hear from people who do not know what they are talking about (for example, miner comments like Oh you are going to push us off linux, and kill us? ) Im talking technical and bitcoin and high level comments for this idea.

https://stratisplatform.com/2017/12/08/masternode_mainnet_beta_release/

Thanks!  I was actually working on Stratis right now.

That should help a lot.  The good news is the UI does not appear to exist anywhere (other than that breeze web UI), so Im trying to do something slightly pioneering.

On an interesting side note, all of stratis c# is written in the new cross-platform .NET "Standard core" version 2.0 (the one that was not written by microsoft), so the daemon actually runs on linux (and v2.0 does not have a UI for Windows).

However, .NET 4.7.1 (with windows.forms UI) runs on windows, so putting a UI on it means it runs in windows and not linux.  (We can look at mono on that later) but Im more concerned about writing a proof of concept now to see how it works.

Conceptually a linux user would have biblepayd, the ability to mine in linux, and run from the command line.  Windows would have the UI.  Then we would have our nix programmers port the UI to mono.  There would be no QT version (LOL).  Very interesting.
