4561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Asking stores do they accept bitcoin on: October 07, 2018, 02:18:46 PM
I often do this whenever I go to shops, stores, and other places I frequently visit. It helps with the publicity since the people around me could hear what me and the attendant are talking about. The stores might even consider accepting it if they see that more people asks if they can pay through this method so its a win-win.
4562  Economy / Speculation / Re: what do you think by ending of this year on: October 04, 2018, 10:40:02 AM
lets see what will happened to the market before this year runs out, or could anyone possible guess what will happen in December 2018.
I doubt anyone can give you answers to that. We're all in the dark here; people have different speculations in prices. I, however believe that bitcoin will be bullish in the last few months this year. This has always been the case in the previous year. Though we might not see a new ath then.

also will there be any upgrade in the bitcointalk forum?
The forum is fine as it is. Not very hospitable to newbies due to various restrictions but overall a good source of information.
4563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why creating more coins. on: October 03, 2018, 09:33:16 AM
Ideas are simply endless. When someone thinks of something awesome and it has blockchain applications, there's a good chance that they will creat a coin for it. Though there's a much more common reason that is greed. Some guy will conduct an ICO to get rich overnight and some greedy investor will be trapped and this is an endless cycle.
4564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Altcoins Discussion Are About ETH on: September 30, 2018, 12:23:12 PM
Ethereum is the king of altcoins. If you are not interested in Etherum - then you are not interested in cryptocurrencies and you are here solely for the sake of money. Therefore, I do not see anything surprising in the fact that most of the discussions are held on Etherum.
Not having any interest in Eth does not necessarily mean some guy is not really interested in crypto and is just in it for the money. There are many alts which is basically just the same as ETH, like EOS, NEM, and WAVES. It just so happens that eth is the progenitor of smart contracts which is why it is ubiquitous--hence, discussions with it are sometimes repetitive and becomes boring.
4565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I join 50 bounties on: September 30, 2018, 12:10:23 PM
Your kind are one of the reason why this forum is full of spamming and low quality post. I will not be a hypocrite, sometimes I make less informative post, but at least, I only have one account and one campaign. In your case, it is possible that you have many alt accounts.
4566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties in 2018 on: September 29, 2018, 03:18:06 PM
ICOs are not doing well so obviously doing bounties will be the same. Its very hard for projects now to accumulate fundings since the entire market has been bearish for some time. IMO 2019 would be more troublesome for bounty hunters now that ERC20 tokens are getting less popular for investors.
4567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to spot an ICO SCAM on: September 28, 2018, 03:58:01 PM
There are many metrics to use. One is to look at their linkedn profile. Their whitepaper can also be a tell. In my experience, when the text in the whitepaper is not selectable, most likely the project is a scam. Pretty absurd but it happend to me in translations many times.
4568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Late to Invest in Cryptocurrencies? on: September 28, 2018, 03:48:29 PM
IMO, if you will be starting now, consider yourself still in one of the early adopters. Why? only a small percentage of the world population knows crypto. Now give it a few years when adoption becomes full blown.
4569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is the beginning of the 2019 altcoin'll be back? on: September 28, 2018, 03:38:03 PM
The next difficulty bomb for eth will happen next year so I doubt 2019 will also be the year of altcoins. Besides, there's not much development in the crypto space to support the recovery.
4570  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: September 27, 2018, 03:53:30 PM
A terrible idea. Once all the countries convert to cryptocurrency, the less advanced countries will be taken advantage of more advanced countries. Many skilled hackers can infiltrate exchanges with cutting-edge securities, what more if the wallet (of some sort) of a country got hacked? It could potentially ruin a nation.
4571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a place in the future of finance as a global currency? on: September 27, 2018, 02:45:26 PM
Bitcoin has trouble in terms of transactions per second--it is not going to be sustainable when it becomes mainstream in the future. The miner fee might be too high too. It needs to be more scalable first to be used as a global currency.
4572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 10 BITCOIN CITIES IN THE WORLD on: September 27, 2018, 02:08:22 PM
Granted that the study is true, it can be inferred that developed tend to be more open about bitcoin being integrated into business. As for the asian countries not included there, it might be that the small business are not included.
4573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin allowed to continue? on: September 24, 2018, 03:36:25 PM
I think the bankers just realized the futility of fighting crypto and decided to adopt blockchain. Otherwise, the cryptocurrency would have just destroyed the banks! IMHO
Who knows, maybe banks themselves conspired with the CIA or other influential entities to create bitcoin for some kind of experiment--any other silly to absurd conspiracies can be possible for all we know so we can't say for sure that cryptocurrency destroyed/will destroy banks.
4574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers on the rampage again, 59M $ Stolen on: September 24, 2018, 03:26:11 PM
This is why one should not put a substantial amount of their investment in exchanges. Better yet, if you they are trading, choose the best exchange with the most secure ecosystem. Anyway, needless to say that those funds would not be returned to the owners. I'm curious to how this event will affect the market.
4575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment or free? on: September 08, 2018, 04:22:32 AM
Investment projects are have more chance to prosper in the future since most of the investors hold and believe that that it will appreciate in the future. Airdrops on the other hand, are more bound to fail since the participants only got them for free; no regards for the money lost.
4576  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising USD prices on: September 07, 2018, 03:55:02 PM
This might be the cause of Trump banning tarifs in trades(?). Many countries have risen inflation rates when this happened at it is starting to affect the crytocurrency market as well.
4577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Phones on: September 07, 2018, 03:47:58 PM
That is a smart move of HTC. Also Samsung would like to produce other model with a bitcoin app to use crypto directly to their phones.
This might actually be the solution to our aimed widespread adoption. In this time, you can't find people that has no phone. Say, half of the population in this planet and all of them have phones with blockchain. Global awareness would skyrocket
4578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we about to redefine money again with Bitcoin? on: September 07, 2018, 03:44:46 PM
Bitcoin is a new form of money that is revolutionary. It can even change how some people perceive money. It has started and offered new ecosystems with its creation like decentralized exchanges, electronic wallets, a currency that also functions as an investment, store of value, etc so it is enough reason to believe that it really does redefine money.
4579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Boring Ethereum on: September 06, 2018, 08:49:21 AM
Well, you'll be seeing more of eth's boring ride since as I see it, we are still in the accumulation phase. Last year's price of eth was just a mixture of good coincidences, that is, bitcoin bull run in the last quarter qoupled oupled with the demand due to the popularity of ICOs.
4580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who needs today to believe? on: September 06, 2018, 08:44:41 AM
Listen to the forecasts and do not know who to believe. Some say the end of autumn will begin the recovery of the market, others for the winter and cite the facts that it will happen and others say that it will happen by 2020. Guess and no one knows anything for sure.
This is why I only base my decision on the news. Any intelligent prediction made by experts are always being made false by the nature of an unexpected news. With this, whenever the nature of the news is bad, I do the opposite that is, buy, vice-versa.
