4561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to call 0.001 BTC? (5 BTC Bounty) on: April 17, 2014, 07:18:55 PM

Friend: "I asked my uncle about Fractional banking and he said he never heard about it so you are clearly wrong"

Almost everyone I know is way to lazy to actually do any research themselves and then decide they are an expert on the subject they know nothing about..

Another golden one: "America could sell all the gold they own to cover their debt"
Me: "Do you know how much gold america has and it's worth"
Tool: "Fort Knox isn't empty"
Me: "............ Take all of the gold america says it has and multiply it against the price of gold....................................................."
Tool: "I don't need to obviously they can pay off their debt with their gold stop watching youtube"

I just.. people actually think they are right..

okay.. /end rant.

See they say they have gold there... but in fact, if another country wants it's gold back... It takes a while.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/2014/01/frik-els/why-cant-germany-get-its-gold-back/

Having a convo with my IRL friends about if America actually has their gold is 100% impossible.  "OH there has to be another reason Germany hasn't gotten their gold"
4563  Economy / Speculation / Strong hands on: April 17, 2014, 06:42:09 PM
Looks like China has wiped out the weak hands and the strong hands are responding by giving China FUD the finger.  Today has been a good day, I know the price dropped a tad but that's the key IMO.

4565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Dying, And why it is different this time. on: April 17, 2014, 06:24:53 PM
Sure it is and sure it is.
4566  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Darkside on: April 17, 2014, 06:12:15 PM
Actually, in Star Wars, the dark side was the centralized over-controlant government Tongue

Pardon me but fuck a bunch of Star Wars.

Star Wars is a fucking fictional movie.

Ima talking about the real world.

My $.02.

Wink

It's a really good analogy.... People view America as the dark side.. tends to happen when you launch drone strikes daily against the innocent.  A lot of movies.. A LOT are hidden examples of the horrors we live in.. See the Matrix.
4567  Economy / Speculation / Re: Happiness doesn't last long on: April 17, 2014, 04:49:21 PM
Holding is not easy.
4568  Economy / Speculation / Re: BREAKING NEWS. (MORE) CHINA BANKS BANS ON APRIL 18TH on: April 17, 2014, 04:48:15 PM
I expected the next China ban in a month or two but 2 days after it was banned, it is banned again is ridiculous.

I said China will not let BTC climb past $500 easily.  IMO they will continue to attempt to drive the price to sub $100(I can't see them doing it but they get an A+ for trying), when they achive their desired amount of BTC... strong hands will be rewarded.

Thank you China.   :-/

I am not pleased about this...  I am just stating what I am seeing.  Do not fall for the FUD, HODL.
4569  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone else feel like Bitcoin is a safe investment? on: April 17, 2014, 04:45:47 PM
People, please stop the fuddery. US$ is NOT going to collapse, not tomorrow, not the day after. Sure, CNY will most likely replace it. SOMEDAY. We will all be licking Chinaman's balls for money. But, it won't be for a while longer.

If US$ were to collapse, do you know the consequences? Bitcoin will be the least of your worries, then.

The refusal by almost everyone to consider the fact the USD could fail is why it will.  I fully understand what will happen.. I am not pleased at becoming a FEMA minion.
4570  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Earth hour. does anyone mining care? on: April 17, 2014, 03:37:09 PM
Not 1 single F**k, Earth hour is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of.  Our fractional banking and need for constant consumer spending to feed the beast is what drives the destruction of this planet.  Fracking for example... the presuit of profit with zero regard for anything.  The banksters should all be hung.
4571  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Miners DUMPING their ASICs on: April 17, 2014, 03:31:00 PM
Dumping their gear at... OVER THE PRICE OF WHAT THEY BOUGHT IT AT...

......................  This is not dumping................ LMAO.

More FUD from china WHO WOULD OF GUESSED IT?!?!?!
4574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a weapon on: April 16, 2014, 10:02:18 PM
Why would China want to take down the dollar?   Don't they own America's debt and rely on USD factory orders?

Private investors own most of the American debt and most national debt for that matter.
4575  Economy / Economics / Re: What every miner should know about on: April 16, 2014, 08:29:31 PM
Wow the minerscube looks really good on charts.

If the company is legit.......

Also, Peercoin.
4576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will plummet to $10 by first half of 2014 on: April 16, 2014, 08:28:08 PM
My 2nd quarter just ended, YOU LOSE SIR.
4577  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What was your 1st mining rig ? on: April 12, 2014, 03:19:31 PM
I never had a mining rig, although I have tried to mine Bitcoins using Bitminter. I have also used CPU mining, to mine Litecoins.

Try CPU mining primecoins it was desgined for that.
4578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: The Downward Trend Continues on: April 12, 2014, 02:16:20 PM
Or maybe we dip below $400 again today..  Come on hit my buy of $300
4579  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Miners DUMPING their ASICs on: April 12, 2014, 01:56:58 PM
Where are these sales..
4580  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What is the point of Gridseed miners? on: April 12, 2014, 01:54:49 PM
No one actually uses their Gridseeds to mine BTC, do they?

BTC mode eats much more power so it unusable at current difficulty levels

If you are doing it as a hobby why not?  If you are doing it to make money it's a different story.  I'm debting buying one so I can mine scrypt too lol.
