It was unfortunate the leak ever happened in the first place, but we should all just keep watch for these zombie accounts and report them as soon as any suspicious activity is reported to here. A thread should really be made just for these specific accounts, but just being wary is the best prevention. Scroll through their posts, ask for a signed message when dealing with them. Doing all the required steps for security will work 99% of the time, as long as you're doing all of the things you should be doing. Always use escrow.

All campaign managers have their own tendencies to reject and accept people into their campaigns; it's likely that you just didn't meet their criteria. Just because 95% of the people that applied got rejected doesn't mean that the campaign isn't legit; I'm sure there's a good reason why your main account got rejected, and if you just asked SFR he'd give you a perfectly good explanation on why you did get rejected. I ask that most of the time when I get rejected.
If your post quality is poor, improving instantly won't help. Give it time. It took me over a month to improve mine, and it's still admittedly not the best. The forum isn't about earning money 99.99% of the time, look for something you actually enjoy posting about and not some spam thread that you post on just to get paid. Signatures are advertising, and having poor post quality doesn't make it likely that someone will click on your signature.
The funniest part is that you yourself have alts; it's pretty much undeniable.

I've currently got 2 RX 470s hazing away on XMR/Ethereum, switching automatically every 12 hours as I can't decide which one to mine. Sold a few of my old S3s, they were getting pretty annoying and all I have left now is my one S7LN and a few S5s. Honestly not sure how much I make each day; I don't keep track.
If you do intend on mining, GPU'S are a viable option right now; they do good and they have a relatively high resale value.
Thanks for sharing your experience mining with GPUs. Right now, XMR and ETH are very profitable to mine with them so I'll give it a shot. It is better to mine at your own home, rather than leaving your money on a so called cloud mining service for them to leave with all your hard earned cash. The only downside to mining at your place is the high electricity costs, depending on where you live. Cloudmining is a huge mistake lots of newbies make; it's just not worth the risk. If you can't mine at home, don't do it. Easy as that. I wouldn't even trust sending my miners over to a datacenter, as stuff happens. I've had some pretty bad datacenter experiences that aren't related to miners. Of course, mining is NOT the only option. Investing and trading also is, but I'm not going to meander too much off of mining, as that's what this section is about

The s5+ was pretty much like the supposed S3++, where the design was slightly modified to allow for slightly less power use. I actually am waiting for a S3++ from Aliexpress that I ordered just last week; just curious to tinker with it and see how it works. I actually considered getting one because of my low electricity cost, but it's not a good choice for even those with cheap electricity, as it's pretty loud.

Count me in! Always ready to write in a competition, it's been a while for me but I've written for enough people recently that I feel I can do pretty well here GL all, I'll be doing a ~1000 word post with pictures . Also, because i'm on a phone, how many bitcoins would 100 points be, and how long does that promotion last? Phone takes about 5 minutes to load Google and I'm not going to wait that long just to see this :p I feel like the voting system is a bit easily manipulated, but other than that everything should go fine. I'd prefer a more 70-30 or 65-25 system that's more biased on the article itself than voting, but it's your terms

Yeah and I don't think even difficulty drop will make mining Worthing it for normal users :/
The difficulty drop is over - the last 2 weeks has seen enough gain to wipe out that short-term drop. The difficulty is at all time high now. It seems the S9 will drive the difficulty even higher as it is very efficient. The thread's been deader than the dinosaurs, but yep, difficulty's slowly but surely rising due to the replacement of older miners to S9s. When and if avalon release their A7, expect difficulty to rise at a even quicker pace- I remember just a few months ago when difficulty was at 100bil. What a time I'm still going steady with my S5s and S7s, sold off the remaining S3's of mine on eBay and various places. Mining's moving at a fast pace

Innosilicon - once they actually start shipping the A4.
Avalon - if and when they actually release the A7 and start shipping it.
Bitmain has just been taking advantage of a TEMPORARY "no significant competiton" timeframe.
All of them have been so vague with their estimations of when their miners are being shipped that I'd just give up and say that it'll take at least 4 months for anything worth mentioning to appear on the market for consumers. Bitmain's expensive-ass miner method seems to be working for them. Avalon's looking promising, but then again, we never know. Innosilicon actually looks pretty decent as of now, but unless they delay any further, they're in the Avalon boat. Huge lull in new miners as of now that aren't bitmain, not the best situation.

I'll take a vouch for the Amazon account.
Update:
Account works just fine and great communication from OP, provided me with everything I needed to get started with the account and more. Would recommend buying from him, +1

Reserved. Will change once accepted. I write quality articles and have done so for many bitcointalk members- I have included the information in my pm. He hasn't responded yet, but I will update that as well when he does. Seems like a good guy for now.

You'll regret many things in your life, but if you don't want that to happen, don't do anything. Stuff happens. I've missed out on the thousand-dollar iBuyPower holo while investing in CS:GO, as well as the Titan Holo. But guess what? Good stuff happens, just like bad stuff. I built a computer when Bitcoin was stagnant at near 500, and it's now 600. Sure, it's not a big price rise, but it's a good pc. Do what you like.

Both hash nearly the same, as a 470 is just a 480 with a few things disabled here and there, resulting in slightly higher performance from the 480. 470s are a better choice most of the time, though, As they cost less and have both 4 and 8gb, just like the 480. Both cards see heavily price gouged, though, so try finding cheap ones Both will have high resale though, but 8 will be better for reselling as games use more vram these days. One reason for the reselling hype is that radeon cards always have great support even longterm, and the current generation of cards looks to be the best value for the buck- not just for mining, but gaming

One more thing I hear that people use slushes pool a lot, I was wondering if that is a good pool to use? Thanks
I've used the pool in the past and it worked fine (back when blocks were only 70bil ;-;) But I now mine on CKpool. It's up to you, though- the S7's are still good machines, and quite a few people on here have hit blocks with them iirc. One suggestion, though- choose a pool with a decent hashrate. Pools with lower hashrates do not hit blocks as often and pay will be slightly lower in most cases.

You might want to consider adding selectors for terahash and petahash, it's a bit tedious typing in so many numbers otherwise, cool site! You always have that chance to hit it, no matter how small maybe add network difficulty and network hashrate? The site is fine as it is, but those last two are pretty big.

Most of the sites in this section are legitimate and paying. Many of them have unique ideas as well, so feel free to try your luck on them I personally would not go to the Investor-based Games section, but all else here is usually good. Some smaller sites are also fun to play on , but always make sure the site is legitimate before playing- snoop around a bit. Some bitcoin casino reviewing sites also offer very good and relatively unbiased information most of the time. One site I use is thebitcoinstrip.com, they provide some pretty accurate reviews, and their grading criteria are good.

I dont believe in altcoins anymore because there are allot of people who lost al lot of coins becuuse there are allot of hackers around crypto so i would say stop using altcoins trust gold and get away with the online coins, because the dream of doubling is not going to happen.
Lots of people have already doubled their coins through cryptocurrency trading; there are indeed lots of people who have lost coins due to hackers, but by setting up your accounts securely and transferring your coins away from exchanges whenever possible, this can be avoided. Trading also requires skill and you won't become a legendary trader overnight; starting with a small amount of coins to begin with is a great idea if you're looking to improve. I've more than doubled my coins through trading, it just takes patience.

I think this year 2016 will also be remembered as a bad year for bitcoin due to recent bitfinex hack. In which 1,00,000+ bitcoin were stolen which is comparatively big and due to which market get dumped so hard.
Try to see it from a different point fo view. The hacker won't be able to cash out or exchange that coins for other cryptos for a very very long time. Everybody is watching those adresses and all exchanges and mixers know about it.Each move will be traced. So you can see it as 100k coins less in circulation. What if the hacker lives in a well developed country where he can exchange his coins in p2p transaction locally without involving exchanges. There is high risk with such possibility but it can by pass the exchanges. Another try is since he has a lot of coins he can try a mixing service in the dark net. At that place no one gives a damn from where the coins come from or how the person got on hold of them. So these coins can be dumped pretty easily but I think the hacker is waiting for some time to pass before exchanging them. Bitcoin vs Time ? Time is a big ally of bitcoin as with the passing of it the user base only keep increasing. That says it all, bitcoin will be stable and maybe even go up in price for the coming years. he'd have to use tons of small mixers, and that'd take lots of time, but the coins will likely be transferred. Any mixing service will work, as long as it mixes correctly and he doesn't mix them all at once. This issue will be forgotten in a few years, and it'll be remembered as just another Mt. Gox in the next year or two.

I'll bet it'll be delayed for at least another two weeks, if not more- I doubt they even have production up. At least there's no preorders, that would've gotten out of hand quickly.

Interesting site, i'll put it to good use. I trade lots of obscure altcoins, so this'll help me out a lot App would be a great addition, i'll probably download it when it comes out. I wish Yobit were on here, I use it a ton.

The reason why AMD is better than Nvidia for most mining applications is that their stream processors are much more effective than nvidia's CUDA cores.
Actually, the reason is that for most cryptocoin algorythms the AMD stream processors are EQUALLY effective as the NVidia CUDA cores - but AMD cards of the "same class" have MORE stream processors. I don't think I've seen ANY CUDA card (possible exception for one of the Titans) that had 3000 CUDA cores - but AMD has put up to 4096 on cards (FuryX and Nano specifically) - NOT counting "dual GPU chip" cards like the Duo or the R9 295X. Clock rate is also a factor where the core count matters, but that's usually been quite close between the two manufacturers at any given time. Whoops, misworded that. Thanks for catching that one. There's even a dual R9 390 if I'm not mistaken, I had one for about 3 months and it ran pretty well; sold it later because of money issues. The nvidia card you were referring to was probably the Titan Pascal that's supposed to come out pretty soon iirc, or the Titan Z. Neither was really made for gaming except the latter. I actually still run a GTX 690 in my computer, it runs like a charm and plays CSGO at 4k pretty well, although it does struggle a bit.
