Now that Man Utd have lost, we can surely say now that Man City will win the Premier League title this season. There is no way that Man City are going to drop more then 5 games in the last 11 matches even though they do have some hard matches coming up against some of the top teams but still I can't see them losing them all, maybe one or two and them. Man Utd now must fight to stay in the top 3 which has now opened up and made the end of the season exciting to see where the top 3 will end up.
4562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS XLR💥Masternodes⚡PoW | PoS ⚡Zerocoin ⚡txbit.io exchange in development on: February 11, 2018, 10:52:32 PM

I'm thinking it is the miners dumping their mined coins and bringing the price down. But on a positive note it does give people a chance who want to own a masternode to now get one which is what has been happening for weeks now. Solaris now has over 600 masternodes online when before at the start of the year we were at just a little over 500 masternodes online so that is an extra 100 masternodes in just over a month and all that happened in the past 3 weeks or so since the price starting coming down. So in away the price being dumped by miners does help people who want a cheaper masternode. I'm sure that in time the price will slowly start to go back up once the POW ends in April.
It is probably miners or masternodes' owners tried to cause out to get their capital back or for electricity bills, which in turn dumped the price. Nevertheless, in long-term, it is good project, and as you said the price will significantly rally when PoS start in April.
So is it still profitable for mining? If miners had tried to cash out all their coins, what is residue of motivation to make its price flourishing again? I think Dev should implement some bounties for community asap, which help Solaris popularity spreading out.

I think... NO, I'm sure, that HODling has ended for most. I think it is the last month situation when Bitcoin more than halved in value so most miners and traders cash out to avoid losses. Most miners mine for profit, not for love to the coin which is what I do too however I believed in this coin and it went high to 55$ a coin but it dropped relatively quickly together with bitcoin. Why? Miners and traders feared the losses will eat their portfolios. Not many continue holding and even some masternode owners cashed their masternodes out which brought the price even lower.
I watched a short film by a Polish guy regarding the Bitcoin prices and why it is going down. His theory was based on last month market research which proved there was a lot more hashing power mining bitcoin than it was officially possible meaning bitmain or Baikal or maybe someone else has new mining equipment that hasn't been shared with anyone else. They created smaller, faster chips using less power allowing them to mine at 27 or 54Th/s per unit. Current fastest ones we know about mine at 14Th/s. Total network Hashrate rose by a lot making it obvious something is going on behind the scenes. Simply said - those companies won't share their secret as long as it is profitable and will only start selling the new miners when profitability drops to star working on newer, faster miners. They sell their mined bitcoins immediately at any market price to cash out as soon as possible which is bringing the prices down, no holding is happening here which is what we all should do to a point.
He proved prices always dropped before new antminers and other stuff were available to buy as those producers milked them first before sharing with the world and selling them making money once again. The prices rose when profitability of such miners dropped which may be the case again in the next few months. So we should expect the bitcoin price go up again until they design new improved devices.
There is a long list of calculations proving this theory and it looks like this is happening all over the crypto market. Miners all over the world cash out not really allowing the prices to grow. One reason is the energy cost but it is a stupid reason as to be honest I could cover my monthly bill with just one day mining and right now because of what miners do it takes me 2-3ys which is still very profitable. This is mainly due to PVC panels on my roof which provide me with free power during the day.

So my conclusion is = even if the guy is wrong he is not totally wrong and miners cash out quickly meaning if you want your profits take them now. I am not asking anyone to dump any coins. It is necessary for the coin to be less available as supply in order for the price to rise significantly which may happen but remember once the price goes up people will start cashing out again and prices will drop again.

Masternode Owner didnt cash out ... the Masternode Holder are growing constant ... now 61.74% XLR are holding in Masternodes.

Yeah I agree that its not the masternode owners selling their Solaris. Many will hold for the long term gains and also for the bonuses when the exchange is launched. I don't blame the miners for selling their mined coins as they need to get back what they put into mining the coin, like I said it gives people who don't own a masternode a chance to finally buy one. We can see each week more Solaris masternodes come online and just in the past couple of days another 4 masternodes have come online and I think we will continue to see this trend for a while.
4563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 11, 2018, 10:45:03 PM
Australia now must travel to New Zealand to play in the T20 final. I actually like how they did this tri series between Australia, England and New Zealand as it was something different when it comes to T20 matches. I think Australia will win the upcoming final which will end their summer of cricket in Australia, then  they travel to South Africa for the test match series which I think will be a great series to watch. Australia will be very confident after coming off a big Ashes win.

We are waiting for the "big announcement"...

Yes we are and I'm sure it won't be too long now. I think the dev is working on it to make sure everything is in place before making the big announcement. We have heard from the dev that there won't be masternodes implemented which I think is a good thing for Honey as the rewards are already one of the best out of all POS coins. So I'm thinking it could be a new website and maybe some new developments planned for later this year.
4565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 11, 2018, 10:35:06 PM
Federer has asked for a wildcard to participate in the Rotterdam tournament next week!
if he reaches the semifinal he will return to the first place in the atp ranking and he will be the "oldest" n.1 in history!

Is Roger Federer really gunning for the number 1 spot here? Or he must take care of his health first?

But I will be happy if he will reclaim that number 1 spot. Nadal already did, so I guess Roger should have his turns at the spot this year. If he marches to the quarter-finals, the possible opponent will be compatriot Stan Wawrinka. This will be another classic.

As for the Davis Cup, USA will have the upper hand against Belgium here. I will also go with Spain, Croatia and France.

I think that for Federer it is too big a chance that it can not be wasted. he only has to win 3 matches (of which the first 2 easy) to return first and only Wawrinka seems a difficult obstacle.

I think he is trying something a little different then last year and join a few more tournaments. Last year we saw him pick the tournaments spread out to give his body enough time to recover for the Grand Slams but maybe he feels that his body is much better this year. I think it would be great to see him return to the number #1 spot because he does deserve it and make even more history by becoming the oldest number #1.

Giveaway is going live for 421 block chain now that we've reached 100 + followers!
Re tweet & reply with your 421 wallet address for a chance to earn the cryptocurrency. A total of a million will be given away
https://twitter.com/421Blockchain/status/962748190851133440

Nice giveaway my friend! I have already retweeted this out to my followers and have had a few join in on the giveaway which is great! Like I said on Twitter the next goal is to have 1k followers. I'll try my best to help spread the word about 421 but right now it is a little hard as there isn't really a good exchange for the coin. People want to see a better exchange then what we currently have. I just hope CoinsMarkets returns soon because the longer this goes on the more people will not trust in the exchange anymore and will eventually die.
4567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 Winter Olympics on: February 11, 2018, 10:19:25 PM
Just like to thank the ones who looked for a BTC betting site taking bets on the Winter Olympics, I guess there isn't any which is a shame. I'll just continue to bet with Bet365 then. So far I have just been betting on the Ice hockey as I know a little about this winter sport compared to the other winter sports. In the upcoming USA/Slovenia I got over 5.5 goals @ $1.70 and the USA -3 at the line @ $2.45 which is a more risky bet. Good luck to all betting on the Winter Olympics.
4568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] <808% apr> Drop the Bass!! 17%+ eligible after 8.08+ days on: February 11, 2018, 10:12:22 PM
Hi all, just discovered 808 and about to jump down the rabbithole. Is the higher investment - eg 5-10m just to kick off the staking process? Or does it effect the frequency of drops as well, once the coin is staking?

Hello and welcome to the 808 community!

Now to answer your question, the reason why I and many others suggest people get between 5-10 million coins is so that they can earn a stake in the shortest amount of time. For example having 5-10 million coins will most likely stake in 9 to 12 days where as a lower amount will take a little longer. 808 coins mature every 8.08 days as the name of the coin suggests. So once you stake you will want to recombine all the coins to stake again as the higher amount of coins you have staking the faster you will stake once the coins are mature for staking which again is 8.08 days. This is not like other staking coins where you can stake daily, well you can if you have millions of coins and have them split into large blocks on different days but again its best to have your coins all in one large block for staking as that is where you will earn the most rewards from this coin. Good luck!

Limxdev runs many big projects, and does not have the time to dev the next wallet. Is there someone out that that can be our new dev that is capable of making these changes in exchange for VGS coins as payment? Do you know a good talented dev? 100 VGS bounty to find us a dev that completes the work.

Vegas

I might know someone on Twitter that might be able to help so I'll send him a message to see if he can help with the new VGS wallet. I believe from what I have seen this guy I know has worked on several coins already and has a lot of experience. I'll get back to you once I receive a reply.
4570  Economy / Gambling discussion / 2018 Winter Olympics on: February 10, 2018, 10:51:33 PM
Hi everyone!

I was looking for a thread on here for the Winter Olympics to see if anyone is having a bet on the events. I couldn't find one so I thought I would make one for everyone to post their opinions on each event and who people will be betting on. This will be my first time betting on the Winter Olympics so it will be interesting to see how well I go.

If anyone knows of any BTC betting sites that are taking bets on the Winter Olympics please let me know as right now I'm just using Bet365 to make my bets on the games.
4571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: (DNR) Denarius Speculation on: February 10, 2018, 10:44:16 PM
Soon DNR will be implementing masternodes along with DarkSend so the price could skyrocket to an ATH in just a short amount of time. Right now the price of this coin has been steady in sats which is good to see. I can see DNR being 50k to 100k sats in the next 6 to 12 months from now.

Hi All.

I saw the coin recovered a little to drop again. Traders pump and dump it a little each time. Or the miners do? It is not the most profitable coin but because my rig had a strange problem with Neoscrypt I stick to mining Solaris even though I make peanuts not profit. Maybe I will be able to sell with profit during another pump.
I will just tell you - I managed to double my portfolio again thanks to another coin and nicehash. It is crazy how easy it can be to make money and buy for example more solaris for it. I sold my solaris at about 15 - 16$ a coin and I can tell you I could buy 6 times more now. Dumping the coin before the bottom and investing in nicehash was the smartest thing to do. The funny thing is I can do all ordering and transfers, sales just using my phone everywhere including work. There are however so many dumpers still selling coins for peanuts who make profitability of some coins questionable... I am looking to buying 1001 XLR soon. Hopefully at current price or lower but that doesn't matter - I will get there.

4573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Proof of Stake coins to invest now and gain huge in 2020? Next Dash? on: February 10, 2018, 10:33:45 PM
Another great staking coin people should look into and that is Ignition coin (IC) masternodes are implemented already and its a POW/POS hybrid with a current fixed stake reward at 1.7 coins which is very good if you stake often. Low supply of just 5 million coins max over 50 years so it makes this coin very rare compared to other staking coins out there. A masternode will set you back 3k IC coins but if you can't afford that then the staking is the next best thing or if you like to mine you can do that too.

I don't want to get anyone too excited, but Cryptopia has responded to us to let us know that we are included in the batch of coins that *should* be listed next week, between Mon-Wed. - This is not a guarantee, not a promise, and should not be taken as such.

This is however us trying to be as quick to let you guys know what is happening on the back-end. *Fingers Crossed*

Well the main thing dev is that they have responded to you. This is a good sign as they are taking a long time to get back to people so hopefully what they said is true and we see Ignition listed on Cryptopia next week. I'm not getting excited until I see it lol but its good that you keep us in the loop on what is going on, so thank you dev!
4575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💦[RAIN]💦X11💦ONLY DL FROM GITHUB!💦20,000,000 COINS BURNED!💦condensate.co💦 on: February 10, 2018, 10:23:05 PM
Guys, but how much for the POS is it necessary to buy coins?

The POS APR is at 200% per year, so no matter how many coins you have you will eventually receive the 200% per year. If you want to stake faster and earn more then you'll have to buy as many coins as you can, for example 10k RAIN should earn you at least 1 stake a week which if you let compound, it will work out to being more then 200% in a year. This is what most people do and once they reach there target they sell some of the stakes weekly or monthly and keep the rest staking.

It turns out now you need to invest 300 dollars ... how much then in dollars will be a month, at the current rate?

Yes it will cost around $300 for 10k Rain, I normally don't like to talk in dollars and more in sats as all cryptocurrencies are priced in sats and not dollars technically. Its hard to say what you'll be earning in a month as it all depends on the network weight but a rough guess would be around $50 a month at the current price. Like I said it all depends on the weight and how often you earn a stake/s.
4576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: "[ANN][PRE-ICO] BUZZSHOW – FULLY DEVELOPED REWARD BASED VIDEO SOCIAL NETWORK" on: February 10, 2018, 10:17:01 PM
Not long to wait now before this ICO sale starts! Its best to get registered now so that we qualify for the bonus 100 tokens for people that purchase tokens plus the 35% bonus on top. This is one project I think will be huge this year as no one has done this before and also we already have the platform up and running unlike most other ICO's where they need our funds to build their platforms.
4577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Doubloons[BOAT]⚓⚓PoW/PoS⚓⚓HMQ1725⚓⚓NEW SITE!!⚓CPU Pillaging!!⚓YAARR!!⚓ on: February 10, 2018, 10:13:45 PM
It seems that Boat has gone back to where it was 6 months ago when I first got into the coin, its dead in here! I have been supporting the coin for a long time now and would really like it to do well. The Twitter account is again inactive like in here, I'm just hoping that the dev is working on the project behind the scenes but an update would be nice every now and then on where the project is at.

We just had a new pool accept BOAT, so that's a good sign.  Maybe your post overlapped his.   It would be great to get a new Dev and recompile it for more POS percentage.  It stakes at such a low rate.  I still think the nautical image of it will be a big seller in years to come.

Yeah true as there isn't many pools mining Boat anymore so its good to see this new mining pool come on board. 5% is low for POS however it is helping keep the inflation under control however maybe the POS percentage could go up a little to say 10 to 15 percent like a lot of other similar POS coins out there. From what I can see there is a lot of people staking Boat as the network weight is high and has been for a very long time now so this sows that there is a lot of support  for the coin when it comes to staking. Now we just need some developments and all should be good here.
4578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Passive Coin - Small Supply Coin With Backing Fund on: February 10, 2018, 10:09:24 PM
The backing fund is looking good each week as you have added some very good coins to it recently with DNR, XLR, IC and even XMR. All of which I think have good solid long term futures. I do think that we need another exchange though soon as people don't really like Stocksexchange all that much so hopefully it won't be long for another exchange which will also help with volume and then a CMC listing which is vital for any coin/token as it gives exposure to people looking for new projects like Passivecoin.

I agree may try Bridge and see what you have to do to get an add on it, but overall its a very promising project in its infancy that I plan to own a few thousand shares too myself!

The dev has already contacted CryptoBridge and they need to first add Ethereum and Ethereum based tokens first and then I think we will see Passivecoin listed on there. CryptoBirdge is getting a lot more coins listed weekly so I'm really hoping that soon they will start with Eth based tokens and then we can see PAS listed. I think this exchange would be great for PAS.
4579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Was Your Gambling in 2017? on: February 10, 2018, 10:04:04 PM
I had an okay year last year but it was down from my previous year as I had an up and down year betting on sports. I was lucky that towards the end of the year I had a nice run of wins in September on my local Football league as it was the finals season so that is where I made up for my losses for the previous 8 months. So I ended the year with a small profit and so far in 2018 I have done well on the EPL mainly thanks to Man City winning a lot and scoring a lot of goals in their games.
4580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 10, 2018, 09:59:09 PM
Well I lost both my bets on the Tottenham/Arsenal game as I had both teams to score and over 2.5 goals. However I did get my bet on the Man City game as I had over 3.5 goals. That was a dominating performance by City winning 5-1, Aguero had a day out scoring 4 goals.
