4561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 25, 2020, 10:03:24 AM
Of course that will be no good for casino owners, because more regulations - more headache for any casino. But in that case, this is useful regulations, because every casino is highly interested to take everything from you to the last penny. And is something awful will happen later, this will be out of the casino (like one episode on my mind, when my neighbor killed his wife because of gambling addiction). So now it will be much harder for idiots to lose everything and for casino to take everything from idiots.
The casino will think about the regulations, and they will not make strict regulations for their members if that is not necessary. But if something worst happens in their casino and that is not on their regulations list, they can add new regulations so the members will follow that new rule. The casino will always have a way to take everything from the idiots who don't realize that because the casino will tempt them to play gambling more and more.

I think that casinos rarely, if ever, impose regulations of their own on customers. Gambling sites just have to comply with the regulations made by governments of the territories where they operate. I disagree with you, and I agree with @johhnyUA, only to be more polite I would replace the word "idiots" with "gambling addicts".
Casinos are just imposing at least the minimum law required by the government for them to implement, they would be kind to their gamblers because all they want is to give gamblers some comfort so they can gain the trust and they will earn a loyal gamblers.

Also, it is a common misconception that casino wants to take all your money. What casino really wants is to have a lot of players and earn from the house edge. It doesn't care about whether a particular player winning or losing.

That's the common line of the losers, they can't accept that casinos are winning and they are losing.
With house edge, they can win most of the time, but they'll never win all the time, but if you are gambling with a house edge, it's expected that you'll lose in the long run as you don't have the edge, it's pretty simple, so I hope they'll understand that before gambling.

Please if you choose to leave the Bitcoin world, no one forces you to invest in Bitcoin. I am, after all knowing that currently Bitcoin
does not function as a currency, because it is true that people rarely use Bitcoin to buy goods or services. But no one can predict
the future, I still believe that one day Bitcoin will become a global currency. All we need is to be patient, so I won't be influenced
by your opinion about Bitcoin. Because I will keep collecting as much Bitcoin as possible.

Relax dude, we need some haters, like we need some dumpers to make bitcoin stronger. Everyone has their own opinion, they are in crypto and we are not bias here so we accept crypto enthusiast and crypto haters, besides if they like to get involve they can just play the game, and that is shorting bitcoin all the time.

It's from January Smiley

Tim MacMahon: Source: MRI on Luka Doncic’s sprained left ankle revealed “nothing alarming.” He is expected to be a gametime decision for Sunday afternoon’s Game 4 vs. Clippers.

Source: https://hoopshype.com/storyline/luka-doncic-injury/
Yep, I did checked it for myself as well just to be sure  Grin. Haven't seen the other games lately so, I'm kinda nervous when I saw such news here. 'Cause am rooting for Mavericks in this match up.

Here's the proof from the given link itself:

Source: /reports-luka-doncic-miss-2-weeks

To give a bit of light 'bout his update, here's what I got.
Quote
"We're unsure of the exact severity of Luka's ankle. One of the good things is, it's the good ankle, not the one that he's sprained a few times in the lat couple of years," Carlisle said.
Source: /nba/news/luka-doncic-injury-update

I just hope for him to be well already. He's a great piece on his team, obviously. And one more thing (that is for certain here...), they got a chance to win the series against Clippers.

My bad, sorry but thanks for not making me worry about the Dallas Mavericks, I thought that injury of Luka was really serious.
I just rush on checking using google and I found that new, I thought it was the latest, but it's all good, Mavericks now would be able to compete with the Clippers.
4564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] ANN Zensports Peer-to-Peer Sports Betting on: August 23, 2020, 09:56:04 AM
Wow, after almost 2 years this project becomes alive again in this forum. Is that because of their current sig campaign? The devs should really come to this thread and update the community about their current progress and it seems that their sportsbetting site is already fully operational. Just right timing that sports events are coming live again.

I have checked their site due to their current signature campaign but sadly this is only an app and can only be accessed through app installation. Hopefully they consider on making a website platform
but im not saying that their current development is bad.Its just a personal preference though.

Good luck on Zensports team.. As suggested they should really be active on this forum if they do really like for some recognition.

They might be active or will hire a representative in the forum since they are running a signature campaign.

I was surprise as well that the site can only be access through application since this is my first time, most of the sportsbook I'm using either only access through web browser or both application and web browser. Still, I'll check the site and experience using an app, maybe it would give a better experience.
4565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 23, 2020, 09:37:08 AM
Even if the Mavericks lose this playoffs game it will be a great experience for young Luka.
But it will be sweeter if they win the 1st round also taking out one of the strongest team in the West.
That is one great achievement.

It's 2-1 now in favor of the Clippers but we saw how Mavericks are fighting back. The lead is not that high which also gives a good impression for fans and analysts out there.
There's still a chance for Mavs.

It's a long way to go for them but close for Clippers. We'll know if LAC won't give the game 4 for them or this is going to be their turnover to give way for a tied series.

Hoping that this series will be long and could even reach to game 7.

I'm not sure Mavericks could win without their star Luka Doncic, that injury of him coast them a lot, he is the ball handler of the team and produce points at the same time, so no, in the first round, I think it would end a 4-1 series in favor of the Clippers.

Luka out - Luka Doncic (ankle) out at least 6 games

The website is very suspicious, please be careful,

This seems to be some kind of phising site that will try to take your information. There are only a few information about the website because you need to log in first before you can explore it. Also, OP is not active for answering questions, it seems like he is just trying to gather people to register on the website.

There's no way I would register to a website that is not known in the community, what's the use of the forum if we don't know how to explore.

With the comments above, it would already give a fair warning to user who plan of using the site.
4569  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone tested CryptoBet.com? on: August 18, 2020, 02:43:10 PM
I have joined in several sites already, I'm gambling everywhere but this one seems new to me.
I'm checking the site now, it's good that they have an affiliate or referral program (https://cryptobet.com/referral).

I'm checking the NBA market, and they have a lot of odds available but I have better value on the other site I'm using.

For example, the Bucks vs Magic game.

https://cryptobet.com/sports

Magic(+13) 1.91 Bucks (-13) 1.83

while in nitrogensports.

Magic(+13) 1.932 Bucks (-13) 1.932 (better odds)

I'm glad to see some anti bitcoin since I've been seeing a lot of posters bullish on bitcoin so far.
This make my day, $1 usd to $2 usd, are you kidding?
I'm not surprised either but I'm also glad too Cool because there are lots of anti bitcoin out there, he's an eth fan, but OP forgot that without the existence of bitcoin ethereum will be be no where to be found, perhaps OP might have forgotten that bitcoin had reached $20k previously, I don't know why he's surprised at just $12k+, bitcoin is more adopted than eth, bitcoin Atm worldwide is increasing daily, expecting bitcoin to go down to a dollar? Like seriously? I'm short of words dude

I guess OP is hoping bitcoin to drop that low because he is looking for an opportunity to fill his bags, lol..
Bitcoin ain't going down that low, best opportunity to accumulate bitcoin has already passed, and that is when bitcoin dump early this year.

We can check the YTD graph (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/),and we can see that bitcoin dropped $5k this year, that's the only opportunity for accumulation so far if one is investing for short term.

You register and earn 0.1 dogecoin and also have 0.1 dogecoin faucet.

dogecoin is currently valued at $0.003574, so 0.1 dogecoin is worthless, just a waste of time.

Nice find mate.. 0.1 doge, how would it attract gamblers to play in a site?

New site is suppose to be aggressive with its marketing due to the competition, but 0.1 doge, no thank you.  It has become a blessing in disguise I guess as the site just eventually went offline, so the damage if there was, is not that big.
4572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 18, 2020, 08:08:34 AM
Of course, the Clippers won, and he tallied a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and that is for 22 minutes of playing.

Yes Clippers won, but it could have been a great game if KCP weren't ejected, hopefully next time he will learn as Mavericks were able to match the Clippers very well, they were down at the start but they rallied and even lead the game, but unfortunately, due to 2 technical fouls of KCP, he was ejected early in the 3rd quarter.

I thought you're talking about Kentavious for a while there.

That technical fouls is really soft, a lot of people even some of the NBA stars know that it is, that really cost them the game. the annoying thing here is that Marcus did the shoving, not really Porzingis, this is outrageous. I don't know if the refs are really siding with the Clippers here, all I know is that Maverics can take Clippers, I know they can.

Speculation is coming out, I read some comments online that the refs favored the Clippers as they want the Lakers vs Clippers match up in the WCF.

I'm afraid by tomorrow we will see a lot of bad calls against the Blazers. Sad

I understand that we can't control the price as it's very much unpredictable, but at least be realistic with your price, we are not in the early stage amigo.

And to ring your bell, bitcoin's ATH was almost $20,000 so $12k is not a surprised.
4575  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: August 18, 2020, 04:59:48 AM

Make sure to use your Price Boosts throughout the duration of the NBA Playoffs for even better odds!

Thanks, I guess we will see some big surprises this playoffs, so I have put my bet on the Blazers to win the NBA Championship, also use the price boost and I got better odds. Not sure with their chances but I believe Blazers are a competitive team and can compete with the Lakers.

Thanks for the feed as I also experiencing the same using my Phone but with my laptop I can play with no crashing issues.

I mostly bets with NBA games and I already ask if there's a chance to add more options, so far the site still offering the same
maybe in the near future some updates will happen, what is good for now is the site still up and continue to find ways in attracting
gamblers like those promotions and tournaments with money pot.

Same here betting on NBA too, I haven't check the site as I usually stay with my old bookies.

But since it's in the forum, I'm willing to explore the sites that offers sports betting maybe I can see a better odds compared to what I am currently using.

Just now, I'm having a problem loading the site? Is it just me or it's the site into maintenance or something?

4578  Economy / Economics / Re: Fixed amount vs. infinite coins on: August 17, 2020, 09:29:02 PM

The number of cryptocurrencies listed on CMC and the supply they have must have been more than enough for the 8B people in the world though. There are tokens thats more than 100B and there are infinite supply like ETH. Not all of these tokens are going to be used widely though. Fixed amount however isn't a problem. In the case of BTC is that 1BTC has 8 decimals which we can send by a fraction.

Also, for me it doesn't matter whether fixed amount or infinite supply. As long as there is real usage of the coin.
Agree as only adoption will make bitcoin as a payment system more than an investment.

But sadly, most of them are crap. So we always go back to btc, even with fixed supply, as you said, we can just work those 8 decimals and each decimal will have a value. Because in the future, even 1 sat maybe valuable in the market.

Most of them what? I thought we are just talking about bitcoin here, that's stated in the OP, let's not talk about altcoins as that is really true, most of them are a bad projects and that's the reason why bitcoin is dominating in the market.

As for me, I believe in bitcoin, there's nothing to change or to add in the system by making a fork, that's why I'm not a fan of the BTC forks.
4579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 17, 2020, 09:14:34 PM

Exactly, addicted gamblers will always find their way to gamble and I don't see how this could be prevented in efficient way.
Do you think that addicted gamblers breaking the law will not get the sanction or penalty if they got caught?
This would at least give addicted gamblers a hard time to gamble until they realized their mistakes and give up as the restriction is actually to prevent people from getting addicted and for addicted to minimize their gambling habit.

Gambling addiction is aa serious as amy other addictiin so it's reasonable that governments try to find the way to keep that under control. However, I don't know how this could be possible in reality and not to cut some rights for everyone else which is not good.

Government should also build a lot of gambling addictive rehabilitation as they need it, I don't know about the country but it's a rich country so probably they have this program already aside from the new law.
