4561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the price of Altcoin be good in 2020? on: January 07, 2020, 10:28:01 AM
In 2019, the price of Altcoin has dropped significantly. It is now hoped that the price of Altcoin will improve in 2020. Is that possible?
The prices of altcoins can only grow or pump is subject to the market condition of bitcoin hopefully if the upcoming halving of bitcoin later this year triggers  bullish movement invariably many altcoins would also grow resulting tin profits to investors who researched and invested in coins with good projects and prospect.
4562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a cell phone on: January 07, 2020, 05:56:38 AM
Mining on a phone would not be profitable in a long time run it would damage the phone due to excessive rig and damage the cell,  also the hashrate very low invariably very difficult to earn some coins mining involves deployment of mining rigs with high power consumption.
Let us careful and not be decieved by some app developers who are after the numbers of downloads to earn their bucks.
4563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 06, 2020, 10:02:32 PM
We should beat Spurs but football isn’t played on paper so who knows. Kane being injured obviously takes away a lot of their quality but they still have some good players.

Liverpool are a better team with a better mentality, in better form so we should win but nothing is guaranteed. If you want my prediction then it’s Sours 0-2 LFC.
With Harry Kane allegedly out with a serious hamstring injury, I believe that Liverpool have the edge in this game. But knowing Mourinho's mind games I wouldn't be surprised if Kane ended up playing in this very game. Tottenham Hotspurs defence isn't something to write home about and with Liverpool's attacking trio of Sallah, Mane and Firminho they are going to have it tough.

Liverpool would be favourites even if Kane was to start. Spurs have lost 7 of their 21 PL games this season. Liverpool lost 1 in 18 months.

Could be a draw maybe but if I was to bet I would put money on Liverpool to win.
A draw wouldn't be bad result for Tottenham mourinho would like to prove a point in that match although with a weak attacking force in the absence of Kane, Liverpool should have an edge after resting some of their key players in their last match against Everton, I believed those trio attackers would constitute a serious threat to the defence line of Tottenham.
4564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now that we are in 2020 on: January 06, 2020, 06:53:36 AM
But here's the question, if the market goes bullish and altcoins are pumping, do you think when there is an ICO, people are still going to invest?
Invest in ICO ... !!!  I don't think that's a good idea. Investors will continue to learn from previous experience, there are so many Ico that make investors disappointed, some even lose their money because there are so many Ico scams in circulation. For now IEO dominates more, and I trust Ieo more than Ico.
for now, IEO is indeed a better solution than ICO. but when looking at the performance of IEO so far not many projects have succeeded successfully with IEO. most markets are not strong enough and are very easy to dump
Let us just wait for the bull runs to come with full force this year definitely there is going to be turn around for ICOs and IEOs that is my own opinion, the lacklustre or dismal performances of ICOs and IEOs is attributed to the bearish market of cryptos, recalled in 2017 many ICOs were successful then when the market was bullish.
4565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: January 06, 2020, 05:33:31 AM
A trader over confidence relies on his strategy which the trader feels is a profitable one of course their is no holy Grail anywhere, why some traders enters any trades with full confidence in that they are trading with a small percentage of their total portfolio ie trading with the amount of money they can afford to lose coupled with a sound money management coupled with a working strategy which is profitable in a long run.
4566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra partner drop out on: January 06, 2020, 02:41:13 AM
Libra can still proceed without all those big payment companies but i doubt if Libra will perform very well, they will face more tough challenges in near future especially from the government and central bank
Of course the developers of Libra would continue with the project irrespective of whether PayPal and other companies backed out they have the project white paper already and developmental  plan although the project is facing some sort of regulatory challenges by the US legislators and I am very sure other countries would also checkmate the purpose of that coin and how it going to affect ttheir monetary policies
4567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want your Bticoin. Don't fall for this new scam, it's too real on: January 06, 2020, 01:24:22 AM
This is indeed a very smarter way of scamming unsuspecting gamblers, a very greedy person would easily fall for this trick believing that a mere $100 would cash out $4998 which is a massive amount of money to a gullible person, we should also be very careful with dealing with faceless and despirate telegram scammers using of sort of tricks to scam gamblers using a photoshoped fictitious winning slip as a bait to defraud people
4568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 05, 2020, 10:35:35 AM
Have a nice day!  I know that most of here are all traders if you don't mind can i ask a little questions here because i am curious about trading. How did you do that? How do you read charts because i am still exploring and i don't know how read a charts anybody can help me with this? What is the best way to learn reading charts in an easiest way.
Better still you can start with the basic and elementary features of charting techniques by visiting babypips.com where you would find some vital information relating to charts in addition to youtube videos. More so learn some candlesticks patterns which would aid your trading journey though it might be tough initially however with time you would it would be very easy.
4569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Moving away 2019 and looking forward for 2020. A Bullish or Still a bear season? on: January 05, 2020, 08:18:59 AM
From my personal point of view the market wasn't be too bearish in 2019 the price reaching $13800 was quite remarkable despite the fact that that there is no underlying positive fundamental news that year however this year we an upcoming halving of bitcoin and looking forward to a bullish market if at the beginning of year the price could be traded above $7000 against last year price of $3300 then we would surely enjoy a possible pumping in the price of bitcoin this year.
4570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US- Iran Tensions boost Bitcoin price to $24,000 on: January 05, 2020, 07:08:34 AM
For as long as the effect on the price of Bitcoin is isolated only in Iran, this is not something everyone should be celebrating. There is no real boost in the actual price of Bitcoin if this is the case. Bitcoin is global and it should grow globally. It should not just be growing with a specific area where there is violence.
Apart from celebrating the price of bitcoin in Iran we should also be consigned with war tension between the two countries and its consequences to the citizens particularly Iran after it had turns to a full blown war.
4571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys stop investing! Use your brain, please on: January 05, 2020, 06:18:08 AM
Some ICOs and IEOs rating sites are not helping matters it looks like some of them are bribed and colluded with those developers to promote those scam IEOs while deceiving potential investors with a positive reviews and backed by those fraudulent exchanges all these has been painting cryptoshpere in a bad light,  I have already made up my mind to desist from investing in any IEO backed by some exchanges.
4572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 05, 2020, 05:01:18 AM

I even watched Spur tonight but didn't see the bitcoin advertisement outside the field. Is it possible that the ad is just a flash?
maybe the same I also did not pay attention to it because of what I know which ads are gambling ads.

I've opened the App to rewatch the game and you can see the ad @minute 35.20.
I can't take a screenshot for it since they are not stupid and are protected by copyright problems.
You can see Etoro and Bitcoin ad.

Well I will use the application to review it in 35.20 minutes to make sure that this is quite curious for me.

Edit: I saw the ad in the 80th minute and it looks like Etoro and the bitcoin logo together.
These bitcoin advertisements are not uncommon. The watford team has the bitcoin symbol on their left sleeve and even watching another match the players uniforms had another bitcoin advertised right on their chest, coindeal. It is a usa based crypto exchange.
Yeah thought it was wolverhampton who had the coindeal advertisement.

Nice things happening for Bitcoin we can say this could be more attractive in coming days as now soccer clubs start advertising for bitcoin and sites related to bitcoins.
I also saw the advertisement during that game, it was showing for about 20 seconds repeatedly, Its a good way to project bitcoin to football fans invariably making bitcoin popularity to increase of course some newbies might inquire and wants to learn or know more about bitcoin after the match.
4573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Would Be Your 2020 Stand Out Crypto Investment ? on: January 04, 2020, 09:59:53 AM
I think for 2020 you can safely choose and invest in the coins that are in the top 20, it is in the top 20 are the most promising coins.
the only consideration I have at the moment is, what do I need to consider more, holding bitcoin or ethereum. I believe both coins will have a high price this year. other than that, I would argue that choosing the top 20 coins is not a good decision. reduce it to 5 or 3 of the best coins before halving occurs.
We two most very important fundamental news relating to both bitcoin and ethereum this year ie halving of bitcoin and an improved ethereuem 2.0 thus my two options in coins for investment this year  is Btc and Eth, I don't have any trust in ICOs and IEOs after several attempts in investing in them to earn some profits proved abortive I would focus and channel my resources to this two coins.
4574  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Bet Bitcoin Reaches $10k In the Next 5-7 Days! on: January 04, 2020, 08:44:22 AM
Anyone wants to take me on a bet Bitcoin price reaches $10,000+ in 5-7 days? After the bitcoin's record breaking network hash rate news come out, BTC lost $300+ (traded below $7k), then gain $500+ within hours.
I believed you are Judging  the news article about the increasing hashrate of bitcoin as its happens in 2017 as the yardstick that would triggers the pumping of the price to $10K I would have agreed with you but I don't think the impact would be swift and on spot, it might take some time however presently the price of bitcoin had shown a significant pumping after a retracement to a support at $6800 to $7360 a clear indication of the effect of an improved hashrate mentioned.
4575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit matters most in crypto currency on: January 04, 2020, 07:35:10 AM
profits that are consistent with regular trading will indeed be better than having to hold coins, because prices are very volatile and market conditions are very bad.
By doing scalping or continuous trading of course the profit will get quite a lot, if not trapped at market prices and can read the market movements well. Usually use a low TF to trade scalping.

You nailed it here, just like forex trading were a trader make profits consistently without taking a big risk in a very volatile and unfavorable market conditions, however in crypto when a trader buys at the peak and the price declined or dumps the trader has to wait for a  very long period of time for the price to pump or recover to break-even before taking profits.
Trading and earning 1% profits daily consistently with a good money management would amount to a big profit in a long term.
4576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 04, 2020, 06:33:51 AM
Bluetooth can't cover a large area, so I think it will be difficult. and I also don't think it will be possible because they have differences in the network, so far I have been comfortable with the blokchain network instead of having to use a local mobile network because it is not good enough in my opinion.
Bluetooth and infra-red covers a short distance and slow it would very possible to send bitcoin between two devices however the two transfer protocols are old fashioned and obsolete, technology has improved has gone beyond using those means  by having a better alternative and faster means of transferring bitcoin.
4577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FA Cup: Wolves VS Manchester United on: January 04, 2020, 05:33:40 AM
Manchester United lost last game against Arsenal, and maybe they have been thinking and preparing for this match.
Same could be said for Wolves as they lost against Watford.
Wolves are unbeaten in the last four H2H against Man Utd.
I expect both team to score, and Rashford for Manchester.

Maybe the two clubs have prepared for the match later so it won't be like yesterday suffered a bitter defeat while both clubs are indeed strong, Wolves is able to defeat Manchester City and I believe this is a threat to Uinted Man and this needs good strategy or tactics in their game.
Wolves has been a thorn in the flesh to Man Utd in all their previous meetings it was going to an interesting match anyway while wolves is playing at home would have a slight edge  having lost their last EPL match the same goes to Man Utd who also lost to Arsenal,  I hope both team would parade their first team squad or players being an FA cup match.
My prediction is Wolves 2 man Utd 1.
4578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 - Set your Target and Make your Plans on: January 03, 2020, 08:25:31 AM
My target in 2020 is to become a full time cryptocurrencies trader while my plan is to invest a reasonable amount of funds having been learning throughout 2019, having a less than 1 btc isn't a problem to me its all about trading profitable and consistently even with a little profits coupled with a sound money management, this year cryptos market would thrive better and I want to capitalize on every opportunities that avail in trading.
4579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any change this year? on: January 03, 2020, 07:12:16 AM
What are you going to do with 2020, give up or continue to survive.
If I can survive the previous hard and difficult bearish years why would I give up this year, I don't have any options than to keep on struggling and learning new stuffs in a bid to kept abreast of any latest cryptos knowledge and to research more especially on potential altcoins this year I am very optimistic that this year would be green and bullish season for bitcoin.
4580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 will be a material year for crypto. What do you think? on: January 03, 2020, 05:54:24 AM
Honestly I think BTC will make progress , not only in price progress but also  technical development will be happened. And we, most of the crypto lover dont focus upon that point. It is Lightening network. The core team is working on it. The team will implement new changes to support basic multi paths payment. There will be 2 new technologies, splicing and dual funding. And both of them will improve the user experience.
And halving will make mining more expensive and production cost will correlates the ultimate market value of btc.

Looking forward to this event. I wanna see a world wide adoption, surely every transaction would be going convenient. The only hindrance btc get, is the government itself that prevents the rapid expansion of mass adoption of btc, if government are going to be more considerable I don't think price would still go down in a serious condition, nah just a random thoughts of mine. Nevertheless, I just hope there will be no conflicts about this LN as it going near to be deployed.
The truth is that only few government is allowing the use and adoption of bitcoin however some countries are rather adopting blockchain technology just like China and I am very sure other countries would follow-suit while improvement in LN  would ensure speedy and swifty transactions thus improve the use of bitcoin as a payment processor.
