Sorry, when did ethereum flop? I missed that
Current ethereum price: ~ $11
It's a flop, not because of the price. It's a flop because it didn't achieve what it blared out. Vitalik himself said so. To me DAOHUB is the continuation of the Ethereum scam. FUD warning!!!

I was thinking of investing in DAO. Sud I invest through Polonix channel
It's recommeded to invest through the Mist wallet from your machine.

I think DAO will be a disappointment. Too many people jumped into DAO without understanding what it is about. A lot of people missed the ETH ICO and just bought DAO because they think it can the next ETH.
You have no idea what people's understanding of the DAO is who bought into it.

Wow the DAO is at $65m now. It really could hit $100m.
I think the interest will slow however as the price begins to hike.

What's your point to start another thread on ETH?
ETH and the DAO are current in the news so it's not surprising that there are many ETH topics.

The Ethereum price has risen to 1 month high, similar price to two weeks ago. But it is not rising at the moment.
It can't exponentially rise forever. That's a bubble. ETH is a market. So expect ups and downs FFS. The price is hovering around the 0.024 now. If it drops below 0.02, I might buy some to buy into DAO. Well you've got less than 24 hours until the first DAO price hike so you may miss out.

That would be incredible. I'm actually surprised by the lack of press this has been getting. Maybe having nearly $100m will make it impossible for publications to ignore.
Yes that's weird. These days the major news organisations tend to be falling over themselves to talk about blockchain news. I've tried tweeting BBC Tech news a few times with no result (not that I really expected anything). What did you tweet? In my experience BBC News tech journalists are not the brightest LED display. Hence why they got fooled a couple of weeks ago with the clown claiming he was Satoshi.

The price of ETH is going up because people are buying it to invest in the DAO. https://daohub.org/ The DAO price starts to go up again on Saturday, so people are rushing in as the window closes. Right now the price is 1 ETH to 100 DAO. On Saturday the price per ETH will start to go up. It will increase incrementally every day for 10 days until it gets to 1.5 ETH for 100 DAO. So that's why the price of Ethereum is going up right now. I suspect ETH will go well above .03 before the DAO sale ends at end of this month. https://daohub.org/creation.htmlBetter than that as more and more ETH gets locked into the DAO vaults they are taken out of circulation meaning that the supply of ETH is much much less than the demand required (especially when the DAO projects start coming into fruitition as they use ETH to function). Imagine the impact on price. This is the last chance to board the rocket ship.

Lisk founders raised the deep red flags today. I am currently working closely together with transformPR and other individuals to hype Lisk up again for launch
US investors are the majority here. Needless to say, not legally so. It is more than evident that this scheme was created to make money from unfinished products by issuing an ICO. In this case, it is extremely brazen as they don't even have their own product. It is vaporware. They clone Crypti, which was nothing but a similar scam. I have contacted the US authorities. They ARE part of the old Crypti Devteam, and the Lisk code has evolved in a huge way with postgresql and other enhancements. You're not a test-net participant, so obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. ...and where did you get the idea Lisk is illegal in USA? It's pretty hard not to laugh at these statements you've made because it's obvious you're incredibly clueless. Let's make everyone aware that when we take about the crypti dev team we mean the ones that allowed crypti to be hacked, either internally or externally, and 1000s of bitcoins stolen.

If anyone is any doubt litecoinguy just posted up a graph that is 2 years out of date trying to back up a target price that's moved from 2016 now into 2017.

there is an unlimited amount of ETH - even 10 USD per ETH is lunatic.
So says the Litecoin bag holder.

It's still a good time to invest in ETH and DAO however please be very aware that at these prices this is the last call as the train is departing soon.

Not sure where to ask these questions but assume someone can answer.
What is DAO tokens? Are they an alt coin where you transact with them as you would bitcoin. eth etc?
If it is a coin ( or not ) is it proof of stake?
Do you get anything for holding DAO? For example do you get commissions on the platform?
If we get commissions are they paid in eth, usd, btc, credits?
Is there a finite supply of DAO tokens/coins?
Who is behind DAO tokens? Is it an offshoot of ethereum and fully backed by ethereum devs? A colaboration? No direct ties to those behind ethereum? Or the very same people behind ethereum?
This presale will the eth be liquidated to usd at the start to pay for operations/development, will it be sold as needed, traded for services or dev work?
Thanks in advance,
If there is a better forum to post this under pls let me know.
You'd be best going to daohub.org to learn more however time is running against you right now. As I type there are only 41 hours left until the first DAO price rise and the clock is constantly ticking down. Don't let this golden opportunity pass you by.

Stay well out of LISK. It doesn't bode well that it's being under-developed by the clowns from Cryptsy and a failed Cold Fusion web developer.

Ethereum is hard to use for the average user. It will not go very far keep that in mind.

I've actually invested 14 BTC to the DAO. A great concept, digital autonomous organizations have the potential to change the world.
Wow that's a good healthy chunk of DAO you got there.

^Prime example of Eth scammers spamming the speculation forum. When Bitcoin goes up 5%, alts go down like 10% or more. I'm sure you're praying Bitcoin doesn't go up to completely implode your Eth scam, but that's what's going to happen. The last time Bitcoin went up 4%, all alts slaughtered. Read it and weep scammers: who the fuck cares, we are all just moving from coins to coins; they are all shit; even bitcoin is shit considering it cant achieve the purpose it was aiming for; you are the only one here promoting tying yourself to the death to a shitcoin when there is no guarantee that the civil war that has been going one for more than a year is going to be resolved anytime soon so here's the advice that roach should tell everyone: under 2850, you get the fuck out of bitcoin and you short it like crazy; above 3030 you do the opposite; rigth now, just get in ETH to enjoy the DAO ride Bitcoin is rkt. Roach knows it, everybody knows it. Roach is just bitter he missed the chance to buy cheap ETH and is now desperately and pathetically trying to talk down its price so he can jump on the ETH train. There is no other reason for his bitter fudding. Best ignored.

It would be interesting to see The DAO break away from Ethereum - is that even possible?
No.

That is excellent news. It proves that the Ethereum can be very useful for the financial industry and beyond. I actually heard them discuss Ether doing this on the national NPR, pretty big deal to hear an ALTCOIN being discussed alongside bitcoin on NPR. What's NPR? It is a media organization stands for National Public Radio. Fantastic news then. Ethereum is like the slow drip drip on the worlds conscious.
