4581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 01, 2020, 07:29:26 AM
In my country Bitcoin is illegal as well. But selling bitcoin isn't difficult on black markets. There are reseller groups where bitcoin demand is quite high from any other currency. So I am selling peer to peer. Of course, there is a question about the trust but I have built a reseller community with few trusted resellers. So very rarely happening scam. In case if there is big deal then they use escrow. Like few resellers know my house and visited there, so they used me an escrow and that's how more resellers start trusting me. I believe you should build such as resellers community, and open a chat group like FB messenger. So it would be easy to buy/sell your bitcoin.
4582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Traditional Crypto online gambling sites against Crypto based gambling sites on: August 01, 2020, 07:06:18 AM
Crypto based gambling sites popular on their community, not to the overall crypto gamblers. For example, a platform created a crypto-based gambling site on Tron. So those are in the Tron community they would love to play there easily since they would be a Tron holder as well. But for bitcoin lover who isn't familiar with Tron, they wouldn't love to play there. On traditional crypto gambling, gamblers can choose their favorite coins if there is exist. I believe the crypto-based gambling site wouldn't more popular than traditional crypto gambling sites.
4583  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is it a right approach a campaign decides where you to post? on: July 31, 2020, 05:42:33 PM
But question is should every thread with more than five pages be considered a spam house?
No. I don't think so.
No. Even after hundreds of pages would be constructive discussions. But it would consider as a mega-thread. Every manager has their own criteria about the mega-thread, for me after 5 pages consider mega-thread is reasonable. The mega thread doesn't mean spam house, but not limited to. If I spam on Megathread then I am spammer, it doesn't prove thread is spam house. If any campaign manager or company doesn't want to see their signature after 5 pages then it depends on them, but even they don't count it they shouldn't remove from the campaign if the post is constructive, the manager knows very well if someone just making a post to getting pay. If someone unable to comply with their rules then they shouldn't apply as well.
4584  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is it a right approach a campaign decides where you to post? on: July 31, 2020, 04:37:16 PM
Guys,
This is all about the difference between,
if you post on some boards/topics you will be removed
Not necessarily increase the size, our eye is fine still now and we can read standard size, or we might zoom it appropriately.
Again, the matter isn't which board you are posting, it's a matter of Mega-thread. If your posting behavior is included mega-thread, then likely the company has the right to remove you. The signature campaign isn't officially related to the forum and companies aren't bound with any written contract except following forum rules. I will say they have been trying to prevent spam from mega-thread which is quite reasonable.

your posts on some boards/topics will not be counted for minimum required posts and nothing more.
Again, this is limited and not the permanent solution. If the manager required 25 posts per week and you made 15 posts on mega-thread and 25 posts on good topics then how should handle? I know you made 25 good posts, but your other 15 post is on the mega thread. In that situation only not count the post and keep you in the campaign wouldn't be a good solution. Repeating every week the same thing would be led to you to remove from the campaign.

Attention:

Seems Best_Change forgot to announce the newly added rules. Here is it;

- We reserve the right to modify/add campaign rules, change pay rate, accept/deny posts, remove/accept participants, and stop the campaign at any time for any reason. We are not obliged to explain any decision taken by our team. You are applying to this campaign means you have accepted our rules.

Welcome to the borad.

Welcome to the community. Since you are a crypto user then you are in right place to gain more knowledge about crypto-currency. Before engaging with any conversation I will strongly suggest reading this thread [GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread. Here you will find lots of useful threads including forum rules. It's quite important to read the forum rules to know about the forum culture.

Besides that, you should always use the forum search button when a question raise in your mind. Forum search button could give you appropriate answers before you create a new topic. If in case you are unable to find your appropriate answers, then it's good to create a new thread about your question. Hope forum users will help you to achieve your goal here. Read more and more to learn.
4587  Other / Meta / Re: An unfair treatment of Bitcointalk moderators on: July 31, 2020, 08:24:59 AM
I am assuming that accounts weren't of your friends. Forum admin/moderators banning you (the person), not limited to your account. That means even you create a thousand accounts then all accounts will ban if you are evading a ban. Creation multiple accounts isn't the reason for your ban, seems you (or your friend) copy paste post from other sources as @hilariousandco already pointed out. So it wouldn't be a mistake since you are consciously copying and pasting other's posts. This is a nonprofit forum, so no one forcing you to join here and pay the fee. It's a crypto-currency discussion community & gain knowledge about it. So blaming the admin is quite ridiculous.
4588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Call Bitcoin Blockchain? on: July 31, 2020, 05:45:23 AM
Why is the application of Blockchain to finance has this popularity than application of Blockchain to other sectors?
What do you think?
It's simple in my opinion because 100% population in the world are directly connected with finances, but 100% peoples aren't directly connected with other sectors. We can't imagine our life without money, so when a blockchain application built financially based then they become more popular easily. But other sectors like education if built blockchain application then it will be limited to the teachers & students.

More importantly, blockchain becomes most popular by bitcoin which is financially related. That's how financial blockchain applications become popular.
4589  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is it a right approach a campaign decides where you to post? on: July 31, 2020, 05:25:03 AM
I believe OP referring to BestChange Campaign IMO. So answers will be based on that.

But, a rule like if you post on some topics or boards then you will lose your slot, is it right approach?
No, but it doesn't mean CM has to pay you for spam on mega-thread. They had warned their participants to avoid such as thread where likely no one will read your posts, which means no one notices their signature banner as well. So why they should keep a participant like this instead of finding some quality posters?

The better rule should be, not counting those posts.
No, this wouldn't be a good solution. When a 10% post is spam from your post history then it means there would be more. So managers have the right to decide either you will stay on the campaign or not. Not counting those post isn't a solution, because they like to pay a good contributor.

As per basic rights and freedom of speech, we all should be allowed to write anywhere of this forum (as long as this forum allows) and a campaign may exclude posts as per their rules from counting toward payment and should not cost the spot if minimum post count is reached after excluding posts which are done on excluded section/board/topics.
Strongly disagree! Who is preventing your freedom of speech? They aren't asking you to don't make a post any board. But they told to avoid spam on Megathread and they consider mega-thread which have more than 5 page which is enough reasonable to me. Spam on mega-thread means they aren't caring where they are posting instead of the post read all the replies. They are just repeating the points already made. They don't like to pay such as participants. Why CM should follow our rules since they are the payer and we are the taker.

If you like the freedom of your speech then it's better to avoid applying on a signature campaign. You will found some users here that they aren't joining any campaigns even they are well-reputed.

If you don't like the rules then follow the below quote;

"He is the payer and we are the beggar, and beggar can't be a chooser".
Excuse me! Sorry, I was just reading and found this is too offensive to read.

I really do not see how I am a beggar here. That's not how it's working for me. There is a price for my signature space and I have given it to BestChange because I think the price worth it for me, although I am a GreedyBitcoiner and would like more sats on my way:-D

But I can not accept that I am begging here.

Yea, you are right here. I think "Taker" is more appropriate than beggar. Edited my reply.

You deserve +1 merit, but I am out of smerits now Smiley.
4591  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: July 30, 2020, 09:21:21 PM
Guys! Why so much violence regarding removal decisions? Please learn to respect the manager's decisions on those campaigns you are participating in. This violence reminds me of a quote;

Quote
“If you don’t like a Rule…Just Follow it…Reach on the Top…And Change the Rule.” -Adolf Hitler

Honestly, I was trying to avoid discussion regarding removal. Because of its manager's decision and we should appreciate it. We forgot that manager isn't obliged to explain regarding removal. "He is the payer and we are the beggar taker, and beggar taker can't be a chooser". Its manager right to choose perfect participants for his campaign since they have their standards. Please let him do his job.

Just contribute yourself to the forum and hope you will get in a better campaign.
4592  Other / Archival / Re: Bank Account Freezed on: July 30, 2020, 05:37:58 PM
How are you sure that bank or Cybercrime police had freeze your account due to bitcoin trading? Or are you guessing? If trading bitcoin isn't illegal in your country then the account shouldn't freeze. It would be possible the source of the fund who sent to you during peer to peer trading have a problem. Who knows if the buyer-seller is a criminal. Perhaps, there is some suspicious activity on your account noticed by cybercrime. If you are sure about your incoming funds to your account then you don't have to worry, just try to contact your bank by which department your account has been blocked then contact with them properly.
4593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger 1 Mln Users Data Under Attack on: July 30, 2020, 05:21:30 PM
I have noticed this story from the email notification yesterday. It was quite surprising to me from such as a reputed crypto wallet company. Because crypto users use the Ledger wallet to keep their fund safe and protect their privacy as well. So if they can't keep safe user's privacy then it's really regrettable for us. But the good thing is they disclosed the issue in front of their users instead of hiding or misled. So the user could determine what they should do like change credential. But not expected it from Ledger.
4594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kobe Bryant's death has been used for scamming. on: July 30, 2020, 09:53:54 AM
Humanity is getting lost from the people day by day. A scammer's identity is the only scammer, so it's not surprising to me that someone getting the advantage of a dead person. More sadly, is that scammer using the processing power by hacking other computers. But I am a little confused, is it too much profitable for scammers? Because who knows how long the hacked computer will be online and need a good data connection as well.

Anyway, it's more dangerous for crypto-currency users since hackers are operating the computer. They might even hack our wallet. Increasing awareness regarding this kind of scam would save people and we shouldn't download anything from untrusted sources as well.
4595  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam attempt? on: July 29, 2020, 09:47:48 PM
Good to see that moderators removed the post made by likely scammers. Most likely they removed it due to advertisements on the reply. At least no one will fall in that scam by this scammer.

Based on other member's opinions I have tagged then scammer and create a flag type-1 since I believe that dealing with this user is quite risky. Just for information, that user just woke up and reset the password recently. So I can say it was a pure scam attempt.

A flag link has been added to the main post.
4596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make `Trading` profitable? on: July 29, 2020, 06:24:46 PM
~snip~
WARNING: I will say this is just a scam attempt (it's my opinion from my personal experience). I have seen a story almost a year ago that someone skipped with trader's funds. First, he had gained trust from traders and when he had accumulated a huge amount then simply skip and was told his wallet has been hacked. That's the reason why I don't trust who offers such a service. Especially such as a post from a newbie account is more suspicious.

What happened: Newbie rying to scam by offering trading service on behalf of traders.

Here is the quote:

Hi!
Send an email to:
bitysato@gmail.com
Ask him to help you.
He offers three plans to you:
1) Pay him 0.1 btc and get his secret trading key for gaining %5 to %10 daily interest of your trading activity.
or
2) Pay him 0.01 btc and let him trade for you. So, you will earn %5 to %10 weekly profit.
or
3) Pay him 0.001 btc and let him trade for you. So, you will earn %5 t0 %1o monthly profit.
Good Luck!

Although I am not tagging this user now, but I think we should stay away from this user and from such as service. I heard before, a guy skips with traders' funds those have been given to him for trade on behalf of traders.

Do you think that this is a scam attempt?

Edit, tagged by the way and flag type1 is below:

4598  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin recovery services trap - AVOID on: July 29, 2020, 04:30:23 PM
I have written a topic Don't be a victim of a second scam. People fall in the second scam due to a lack of enough knowledge about bitcoin technology. They aren't able to realize who got scam that lost bitcoin isn't possible to recover, and that's how they fall into the trap again. We should know that, bitcoin naturally is irreversible, so if anyone promises you to recover your scammed amount, that means you are going to the victim once again. Increasing awareness would help newbies from such as scams. Sadly newbies create post after scammed, but unfortunately, they can't ask the community before sending money to the scammer. So don't regret about your past mistakes and get a lesson from there instead of getting scam again.
4599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: African bitcoin ATMs on: July 29, 2020, 03:57:13 PM
Glad to see that most of developing countries realized the value of bitcoin and allow to use Bitcoin ATM. On the other hand, feeling sad that my country still arresting crypto users. Bitcoin ATM could keep a major role in Bitcoin adoption. Its because we can buy sell bitcoin more easily. Otherwise, we must look for peer to peer or some exchange to buy sell bitcoin. To be honest I hadn't imagined that so many countries from Africa allowing Bitcoin ATM machine, just now noticed from OP. Good list by the way.
4600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin adoption really is. on: July 29, 2020, 03:46:20 PM
Our faith in the bitcoin is determining its value. More importantly, Bitcoin backed by a strong community which is one of the most important reasons why we trust bitcoin. Those peoples saying we don't need trust in a decentralized system like bitcoin, I wouldn't agree with them. Its because simply the creation of a coin like bitcoin wouldn't same value of bitcoin, the community will not trust them suddenly. Bitcoin hadn't come on current circumstances suddenly, it takes a long time to gain trust from the community. I trust bitcoin because I can use it online & real life. I have faith that bitcoin will be more potential in the future, when this belief will spread more and more then the community will be stronger. So it would be a great adoption really.
