4581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 15, 2023, 07:31:37 PM
The question I have being meaning to ask is, what is the possibility of one referee being active and a whale player but the referral is not that active say the one you referred wagers a high amount and can accumulate a lot of wagering benefits to the person that he registered under the link.

But the person on the other have is not active in wagering and he falls way below his referee what is the chance of him getting his referral rewards, will not wager affects his earning or the casino will pay him regardless?

This question has been running through my head for a while now and I will be glad if any can give me in-depth explanations and information to help my understanding of the referral payment and how the system works.
4582  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asks for KYC (they site say NO KYC) then confiscates my winnings on: April 15, 2023, 04:53:24 PM
No reason, they just informed me that I can withdraw just my deposit

At least you've got your initial deposit and you should be thankful with that, do you ask what could be the reason why they didn't give you your winnings? because of the KYC? for me it seems that could be the valid reason and you are lucky that they allow you to withdraw your deposit wherein most of the casinos do freeze your account not unless you submit your KYC
Yeah being thankful for the refunds of deposit alone is not good enough this is because the players have put in a lot of time and effort to win those games, I don't like the idea of casinos asking for KYC verification at the point of withdrawal that attempt is not clear to me and at such could be a pointer to a scam ahead since your funds will be licked while you undergo that verification.

And in most cases, the verification will not go through and the player will have to wait for a complaint such as this one, which shows that the casino cannot pay a high amount even though the player won fairly.
4583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 15, 2023, 04:47:02 PM
A veey disappointing result from Chelsea FC. After the midweek defeat in the champions league at Santiago Bernabeu, I thought they would win today's game to give their fans something to cheer up. Being beaten at the Stanford Bridge by Brighton is a wake up call that Frank Lampard is not the man for the job. How can a team with so much talents display such an abysmal performance? How can Chelsea make only 2 shots on goal against Brighton's 10 shots on goal while playing at home? How has the mighty fallen!
I don't understand what Chelsea officials are doing. When the team slumped in the Potter era they seemed to have absolutely no initiative to fix it. Supposedly if there are no more targets to be achieved let alone the team managed by Saltor. But their decision to appoint Lampard as coach was even more wrong and made the team's condition even more chaotic. In the hands of Lampard, Chelsea have suffered three defeats. I'm sure the Blues will find it very difficult to win if the team's conditions don't change. If you look at the remaining matches, then Chelsea has the potential to sink further.
Just as i said earlier before graham potter departure from Chelsea, the crisis rocking Chelsea is not that of coach or player but rhe managment of the club the problem because there don't excise patience to allow the club to build to recover and if you sack a coach and employ a new one, you should also be ready to give a long time for the coach to get used to the players and vis visa.

That will give the coach and players proper time to create the technical connection needed to win every opposition or better still have the time to build a strong defence and attacking positions.
4584  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: April 15, 2023, 07:07:20 AM
The conditions for affiliates and bonuses should really be more transparent and clear to members and participants. A site that does not really deliver a good experience to the user will eventually disappear. I do not see how the site can build a long standing reputation and customer base if they are leaving behind a trail of angry or disappointed customers.

All of the promotions, rewards and bonuses as always are always have their requirements and conditions if the player met those needed by the casino they are eligible to get the rewards this always happens to prevent those abusers of the rewards of course like if there are a huge amount involved it will become a huge loss with them that's why the security in taking a withdrawal takes time.
Bonuses are placed under some conditions to restrict abusers and not only that the requirements for bonuses or deposits are also meant to limit the player's ability to win and in the end generate casino more revenue from players' losses from their trying to meet the wagering requirement before withdrawal.

So whenever I see a casino trying to promote their new bonus offers it seems to me as if it's all plots to make more money doing so, but most newbies don't understand that tactic employed by casinos just to get players trapped on their site.
But it is possible that a player can sometimes get lucky and win despite the whole conditions but that doesn't come easy in most cases.
4585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Bitcoin creator part of the government of China? on: April 15, 2023, 06:54:22 AM
Thoughts on that Bitcoin was created by a member of China. And that once there is over 60 % adoption in the world. Someone will push a button and it will ignite to something much more powerful and controlling>? more centralized?

Don't you see your thoughts contradicting what's going on? China is a country that has completely banned Bitcoin, and if they are the creators of Bitcoin, why did they ban it? Moreover, even if Bitcoin was created by China, it cannot regulate or trigger something to turn the current situation around. Bitcoin is open source and managed by the community, not owned by anyone.
Exactly if Bitcoin have a Chinese origin because the similarities are not there and the events happening around Bitcoin adoption have also pointed in a different direction,  as truly China has been the most anti-Bitcoin country today after the total ban of Bitcoin and its activities such as mining.

So how can China ban a technology that originates from them, I think there would rather embrace and build every possibility possibilities that will enhance their control of Bitcoin if it originates from China, Satoshi's origin is far from being Chinese and even though Satoshi may be an acronyms name or code name but the aspect of Chinese involvement is just a baseless speculation.
4586  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Role of Currency Spectators In Currency Value Case Study of 9ja ₦ vs $ on: April 14, 2023, 10:45:26 PM

Do you blame the CBN for the failure of the new Naira policy, aren't we the citizens lead by our governors that took the CBN to court and won in regards to use of the old naira notes and postponement of it seizure to be a legal tender until December 2023. Sometimes na we dey shoot ourselves for leg, even though CNB policy no for be the solution to our Naira devaluation but e fit give am small strength and we fit dey use that one work for the main time.

With the rate of Nigerians going into crypto trading, the rate supposed increase normally and I dey believe say very soon, the crypto traders go be the next target, make we dey watch how things go unfold, right now crypto trading dey get free pass but when the government go come for them, na war e go be. People dey think say cryptocurrency trading no dey get any influence for the forex market especially dollar rate but it's now one of the major influencers on the market, abi una never hear about crypto dollar rates?
I agree with you ooo, true true sometime na we citizens dey cause a the problem for ourselves but later we blame the government for the predicament we face as a result of our own actions, I use to make one statement to those that always come around me and that is.

Nigeria's problem is not entirely to the leadership or structures, but the major problem facing Nigerians is the problem of citizens lack transparency there have failed to work collectively idea they j don't have any cash. Ewe
4587  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Most important place on earth. Where? on: April 14, 2023, 10:36:59 PM
I am curious to know where is the Amazon located around the glob to be named the most important place on earth even though I doubt that because not all of us know how that place looks like so then how can we now agree that Amazon is the most important place on earth.

There is no gain in saying that different countries have some incredible and out-of-human-capacity locations and reserves, and this will dash off every form of argument.

Amazon may rank among the best location around the world but certainly not the first on the list if there is any.
4588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 14, 2023, 10:07:36 PM
Well, the last words have not yet been spoken about Manchester United. 2-0 and a few minutes to play. And then it will still be 2-2. Does this say something about Sevila's resilience or does it say something about Manchester United? I think it's a combination of both. But they will be fine at United. They were in the semi-finals with 1.5 legs and now I have to see it again. At Sevilla they have come to believe in it and if you can play 2-2 away at Old Trafford, I think you can also beat United at home. United will go into the return match with an unpleasant feeling. It is to be hoped that United can recover. Perhaps Ten Hag is the most disappointed of all.

ya.ya.yo!
I am happy I picked Sevilla to win over Manchester United in my ticket and my choice was inspired by the recent results coming from Sevilla, unfortunately, my ticket did not win but my happiness is that Manchester United did not win the match and they ended up on a draw note which is something highly significant for me in thos match.

But then let's see how the remaining time in this season will be. For. Both clubs if there. Will be able to meet again before the end of the season because I have not been following up with things and I don't know if the clubs have already played their first leg or if this game is their second first meeting.
4589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 14, 2023, 09:52:27 PM

You have shown the difference when investing in bitcoin vs altcoins. But for those who are not knowledgeable about bitcoin, buying bitcoin at a high price and holding it for long is impossible. Newbies will be shocked and panic if they see bitcoin dumped and lose 70%-80%, they will also sell it in panic and heavy loss. Having money without knowledge should not invest in bitcoin, investing without knowledge is like gambling, only investing with what you understand about it.
Entering Bitcoin at the pick of the market is not good to do not only for newbies but everyone, bitcoin is best purchased when the price is low because that is the only way you can get some discounted price.

But if you enter when the price is high there is a high possibility that it will end in losses for you or you have to wait for a long time before you see profits because the market must first recover before it could make any more significant positive profits for the holder.
4590  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 14, 2023, 09:41:00 PM

Submitting an Ai generated Art, whether tweaked or not is still cheating, and the best punishment for such users is total disqualification from the contest, and a ban from future participation..

I don't know why I am so sceptical about AI usage in any form, to me AI is an insult to human efforts most especially in content creation because I came across a post some time ago on social media and which the author used AI to generate all the contents and I saw how he was getting likes for work he put zero efforts into.

This is an abuse of human intelligence, there is no doubt the fact that AI is a new development that should be widely adopted,  but we must not over-rely on them to the point of leaving our work entirely on bots, there is always a need for the human contribution to the final outcome of an AI job that way we don't totally rely on the outcome or result but use them to align with our thoughts and ideas.
4591  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asks for KYC (their site say NO KYC) then confiscates my winnings on: April 14, 2023, 09:32:59 PM

To be absolutely accurate suspicious the sites need to be well observed because the KYC site has been submitted on many casino sites to scam the KYC sites. If you choose a recommended casino online for security, you are sure that this is a safe and protected casino that will provide you with the best gambling experience. You can also gain through the current standard of the casino bonus.

I basically don't think there are casinos that wouldn't require people to do KYC and any casino that claims they don't allow people do kyc or they don't ask for KYC ate mostly scam to me because I believe that a registered casino will always ask you to do KYC so as to always make sure that the activities of the casino is been monitored to avoid money laundering.

^That is how shady casinos will work, it will always have a loophole where they can find ways to scam people or selectively scam people.
Once a player becomes a failure to comply with the KYC and has a large fund in the account, they confiscate it, and the reason you did not comply with KYC is your account is frozen but they get you funds. Nothing we can do is choose a legitimate casino that does not have any issues like this especially when it comes to KYC.
For the fact that just it doesn't have an ANN thread here in the forum is something we should think of before putting the effort to call the out for this shady behaviour against ops and of all things being equal only what we can do is to warn others from falling victim to such casino who say one thing and do the opposite.

Most especially those that infringe on players' rights and force them to go through some thought process all to frustrate them into forgetting the money in those casinos.

I'm just asking for my deposited sum amount. Nothing else.
[/quote
You will only be in vain expecting your deposit money to be returned by 1xbit, even if you ask for $ 1, your message will not be replied to.
My advice is that you better use this incident as an experience so that you are more careful when you want to deposit money at a casino that has a bad reputation.
I understand maybe you are very disappointed but this is their decision not to refund your money no matter what you do it will only be in vain.
Nice advice mate, you need to move on anytime you have any deal with one 1xbit and it goes bad, they are known for not refund of players' stolen funds and this is why their reputation is bathed with red all over the forum to serve as a warning to other people not to fall for 1xbit scam.

And since you have already fallen victim you will have to spread the news to help others not to get scams on that site it is best to avoid 1xbit in all totality.
4593  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: banks in 9ja that are most p2p crypto-friendly bank with fast transaction speed on: April 14, 2023, 09:01:18 PM
The most crypto-unfriendly bank is.

1: standard chartered bank plc, from history this bank and is known for easily flagging customers' account so cryptocurrency users are advised to avoid using the bank for cryptocurrency transactions.

From my own experience, All local banks dey crypto unfriendly and no be just because federal government warm them but they also have very poor network especially on weekends but you dey see all this online banks wey no get physical location, na dem sure pass for cryptocurency transactions. Obviously you no go indicate say na crypto wey you dey transaction so dem no go block your account.

Before na Kuda sure pass but as of recent na Opay they reign, we also get Carbon wey just dey come up like their name never too sound but dem dey alright. We get palmpay too but I go advise make we avoid them for the main time because dem dey get very negative reputation online and with all those negative reputation dem fit lose their ground especially as new ones they come up steadily.

I understand people too dey fear all this online banks but as a crypto guy you do supposed they fear dem. Use dem received your transaction so Incase wahala come e no go affect you heavily and before anything go reach your main bank account, you go dun do something about am. Avoid keeping too much money online
I agree with you some of the online banks came to gain ground now dey very new and have a lot of reputation to build and coupled with the fact that some of them get some bad eggs within their network were dey give their company a bad name, this has made many Nigerians become sceptical about them, and some of the true get some kind magu magu were dem the do and even today one of the updates where I dey get from social media about opay no too sweet although I never verify amm so at that I can make it as a warning.

But just say we know and also observe some people the warn say make a person not to update their pay app to the latest version because the upgrade contain some malware and google play store warn about it, I don't know how true that is but is advised we just take caution.
4594  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: April 14, 2023, 07:56:46 PM
Weekly promotion or bonuses is what I like and what's on my mind is something like a rake back or free bet depending on how much you wager on that week and of course you should have a wagering requirement as many users would probably take advantage of that kind of bonus considering that it is a weekly bonus.
Yeah rake back is more better than a deposit bonus since the rules on rack back are a little flexible compared to the on bonuses, so at that many prefer a no bonus on deposit so that their can withdrawal their winnings without any condition to wager a certain amount.

I personally do not like deposit bonuses and because of that I will not get attracted to any form of bonus no matter what they're promised what i normally do is to skip bonuses and play with my money along the way this is the best.
4595  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of crypto casinos with high wagering requirements on: April 14, 2023, 07:47:52 PM
I’m a bit confused. You say that casinos have wagering requirements to withdraw a no-bonus deposit. Does that mean if you deposit your own funds that they will not let you withdraw until you’ve gambled a certain amount? I could understand if it's not was for some sort of deposit bonus, but otherwise it sounds like you lose the second you make a deposit.
I think that is what it means, most casino will not let you withdraw you deposit unless you wager at least 1x of the total amount.
Its a standard operations to combat money laundering through the casino by scammers who may take advatage of a no wagering to use casino to mix stolen founds and have them transfered to a different wallet.

Obviuosly i dont know how that works, technically but i believe there is high possibility for that, so casinos will not allow deposits to be withdrawn without wagering
4596  Economy / Speculation / Re: 30k Bitch!!! on: April 14, 2023, 11:00:50 AM

Bitcoin has not even lasted up to 72 hours at the $30000 benchmark and we are here talking about 40,000 dollars. Have you studied the graph so well? is there a given level of stability in the 30,000 dollars? Is there a sign that a support is being formed at $30000 to avoid break down to 20,000 dollars and below?

I don't mean to overtly unreasonable with you point but at the moment, Bitcoin is already building up liquidity that will sustain it price to stay on or above 30k even though we just achieved that benchmarks.

And judging from the recent Bitcoin graft movement,  there is a clear pointer that Bitcoin is already eyeing 32k and if that happened the next stop price will be around 35k and then 40k bit that is just my own speculations any ways and based on personal observation and assumptions.
4597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: April 14, 2023, 03:41:37 AM

From this media, I learned that new products are often being produced in El Salvador. Bitcoin has been the talk of the town since it gained massive popularity in El Salvador, which is producing a variety of high-speed cars to attract people from all over the country.
And El Salvador is cleaning up the city nicely because Nayib Bukele has taken various measures to attract tourists. I respect all these activities of Nayib-Bukele. This is the only country in the world that has been recognized as a tax-free country after legalizing Bitcoin. And tourists from different countries travel to El Salvador on the rise. About 30% of people at home are ready to travel to El Salvador.

Truth be told, President Nayib Bukele have done well in the area of bitcoin promotion and awareness within that country with his initiative to ensure financial inclusion of El Savadorians who have being at the centre of discussion since the El Salvador Bitcoin adoption on October 21st 2021 his consistent drive to promote Bitcoin has been the centre point of El Salvador Bitcoin development and increase in the adoption of bitcoin among El Salvador citizens.

Seeing the various promotional materials and other projects that are supporting the Bitcoin adoption and it usage within El Salvador and the transport sector have become one of the sector of El Salvador economy that is pushing the visibility pf Bitcoin to the public with the various Bitcoin logos on most taxis and buses within El Salvador.
4598  Economy / Speculation / Re: 30k Bitch!!! on: April 14, 2023, 03:23:26 AM

$32k might be initial target price, we don't need to hurry and go for $40k as there will be a lot of movement, and we might see some minor but healthy correction along the way.

So let's enjoy the run, it seems that we are going to reach $31k at the rate that we are going right now.

Don't want to jinx it, but we are $30,830 as of this writing.
Ok nice whatever the price will be going forward, I don't have any problem with that as long as the price keeps an uptrend movement instead of a decline which will become a negative signal for the best market to keep us down more.

But 32k is still a little bit of a safe side for us and if there is enough liquidity at that price it may further push the price to go beyond that up to 35k within a single stress, 40k price has been long overdue if the not for the various crisis that rocks the cryptocurrency market in late last year that has forced the price of Bitcoin to stay down for so long.
4599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bear Market on: April 14, 2023, 03:16:40 AM
A bear market can be a frustrating time for bitcoin entrepreneurs mostly, but those who are able to adapt and navigate the market conditions can still be successful, meanwhile. A bear market can make it even more unpredictable, increased competition and lower profit margins for existing bitcoin entrepreneurs.
I think there're more problems facing bitcoin entrepreneurs in a bear market that I don't even know about as a Newbie.
But you forget to mention that the bear market provides an opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a discounted price so the bear market is not an entirely negative aspect of Bitcoin in fact both the bear market and bull market play a significant role in Bitcoin volatility which is the major feature of Bitcoin that make it investment a speculative one.

The important thing to note is that never buy bitcoin when the price is extremely high and on a bull run, it's far better and more profitable to buy bitcoin during the bear market since you will be buying at a discounted rate.
4600  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the pump coming? on: April 14, 2023, 02:34:43 AM
It is not a pump 40k-50k is what should be todays price.

If we get to 40-50k and run to 80k or 90k that's a pump.

I would sell everything if we go to 100k in May
The best position for those for accumulated at whatever price within this year is because 100k will really be a good sell position to maximize the profits.

89k-100k looks pretty cool to sell off, but till then, the accumulation continues because as you rightly said 30k-50k is not yet a pump that is significant to most entry points of investors but anything above the last all-time high should be a considerable price to sell off your position.

Those who bought Bitcoin at 60k+ are still in loss and 50k doesn't mean anything to those investors in that category.
