Advertisements are not allowed in posts.

Thus, this should be considered spam.

If he's only offering a redirect to his site then he's not contributing anything, is he? After all, the website has very little traffic and it is essentially false advertising.
4582  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duckdice.io [SCAM and SHADY behavior] on: July 16, 2017, 06:38:04 PM
110x isn't even that hard. It must be over 100x due the house edge. Everything below the 100x would allow users just to wager and loose the hotels edge and still end up with profit without any risk.
Made a spreadsheet showcasing the statistics behind wagering on the max % chance to win which would be the easiest for most to clear the bonus.

Being forced to take a gamble at 40% chances is not great... but this also highlights something else about your site.

You offer a 200% first deposit bonus for Dash, which is actually pretty +ev for people who approach it this way.

A 32.26% chance to win 5.24235328 BTC, risking 1 BTC (in Dash)

.3226 * 4.24235328 + .6774 * (-1) = 0.6912 BTC expected profit.

Not sure about how well you might handle multiple accounts, but that bonus seems pretty appealing.
4583  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duckdice.io [SCAM and SHADY behavior] on: July 16, 2017, 03:19:22 PM
If you only cancel the profit, people can just keep playing with the bonus. Site would be bankrupt in a day.

If that was so I would deposit 1btc, take the reload bonus so I have 1.5 btc. Make 5 bets of 0.1 on 100x. If I don't hit, I withdraw and deposit again and start over. Best way is just to remove the cancel button. People just don't read.

The problem here is not Duckdice but just an user that don't read well.

There should be no reason to cancel the entire balance. You're essentially - without the user's prior knowledge - forcing them to go all or nothing on the bonuses. And considering the fact that you have to have the entire bankroll bet 110x, it's a difficult feat.

If you want to punish users by losing part of the bonus balance, then do a simple split based on the bonus %.

In your scenario of 1 BTC and 0.5 BTC bonus, have every wager split 2:1 in terms of deposit and bonus, disregarding any profit upon cancellation.

Note that also, your reload bonus is claimed a maximum of twice a day.

And really, the only reason you make each bet count for 50% of the wagering requirement is to make the actual wager number (110x) look smaller: 55x.

[Archive]

It is unethical to take away both the bonus balance and the original balance if a user has not completed it.

I do not understand why you would do such a thing. Additionally, the message you had in the bonus cancellation screen (and what you have said) was that you only cancel the profit.

so technically your profit was still locked, that's the whole purpose of wagering – to make winnings a part of your balance you have to meet wagering requirements.

Hence, if you are falsely advertising the amount that is deducted from a player's balance, then that is straight-up scamming them.

I have already talked about forcing a player to complete the bonus, so you can read my reply from above:

Terms archived, by the way.

Here's the scenario.

You deposit a significant sum of money into the site with a bonus. The terms seem clear and they even state that you can cancel the bonus at any time. Hence you would expect it to deduct any winnings from the bonus (and for losses, it would not refund you)

You should not, under any circumstances, force the gambler to bet through the entire 55x wager requirement. For this site, you ARE forced because otherwise you will lose your balance. That is unacceptable conduct.

By not highlighting the risk of the bonus beforehand, you are essentially stealing their money: 55x is no small feat, considering you essentially need to bet your full deposit + bonus 110 times as per their rules. Even with a 98% win chance, that's a 10.83% success rate of getting through the requirement.

So you are just as stupid as you portray yourself in starting all this.

And I am more mature than you and this scammer ever will be. Tongue

Good job quoting an idiot whose post proves nothing.

We're in the same campaign: big whoop.
We post in the same giveaways: so we like money, how is that a connection?.
And I put my personal text as his loaning service because I respect him and had no (personal) use for the spot.

All the rest is just repetition and false assumption.

TruthBeTold was a butthurt kid themselves, by the way. If you look at any other post in the thread, nobody agrees with his "detective skills".

if every site let you play with bonus with rules that you can cancel it whenever you bust your bonus without sacrificing your original deposit. all gamblers will do this all over again. The result of your actions is solely done by yourself. it is clearly stated (there's a warning before bonus cancellation) that you will have the "x amount" of deduction from your balance. how is this possible for you to blame the site?

Yes, you should blame the site. Terms archived, by the way.

since most ponzi/scam, some shit investment and few FUD deleted

Wrong. Ponzis and scams are not "deleted" on BCT. Most of the thread-starters for them are given negative trust (eventually) but the threads remain and unsuspecting victims can and will fall for them.

FUD is also not moderated nor deleted, as per the rules.

Q: Do you moderate/delete (possible) FUD, accusations and untrue information?
A: No. We don't have enough time to check every single piece of information and verify the validity of the sources. Also, just like scams - too much room for bias and abuse.

There's also (again) script threads that occur pretty frequently for gambling and the thread starters aren't given red trust as much as they should be. Most ignore it and sig spammers bump up the thread.

It's bad here and it's bad everywhere else.

If that wasn't enough, this was on a ponzi thread:

btw where is the 0.01 giveway ? lol i can't see it anywhere how to get it ?

Thank you

That sounds like a sting operation to me /s

Interesting comment. Sting operation coming from which direction? You think I'm being unreasonable with this post?

It's an allusion to the Lauda & Zeroxal extortion incident that happened.

One thread relating to it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1759607

I'm not stating my opinion on it.
4592  Economy / Reputation / Re: BtcKing 1 giving himself positive trust via alts on: July 15, 2017, 02:16:29 AM
Here's the screenshot of his trust page before the positive trust was removed.

dam all this for me ?   Shocked

i indeed deleted the feedback so there is no point of leaving the red feedback now

(I posted a thread with my address intending to scam users. I deleted the thread. All is resolved now.)

That's not how it works.

And no I dont think you are from Canada. But I will tell you something that I do know regarding you:
I will just let your president take care of you.

Don't have a president either. Guess again.

I don't copy minifrij's "style". I break it up so that it's easier to read. Most people dislike walls of text, myself included, and I hate writing them.

Now he's gotta be afraid. Because there's no other campaign manager around that would find a spot in a campaign when actmyname gets kicked off his based on the opinion he has.
Not a single one, I guess.  Roll Eyes

(semi-related)
I'm pretty bummed out at my ignorance back when I was at CG (which led to the blacklist) but frankly, I'm just happy to know that as a campaign manager, you were on top of things and caught that within the week.

And right: if crappy spammers can get a spot in all the shItCO campaigns then certainly I can do the same.

when i suspect that actmyname earns much more year than you.

Thanks. But in defense of Arcteryx, I hear it's difficult making a living as a novice comedian.  Roll Eyes

and than yo have people saying oh its not possible when almost every coin(top 20) made a profit of more than 30x
30x is not a number that is to outrageous or to impossible to achieve

That is because they are coins, not bankroll.

How much house edge is it going to have? Let's suppose that the casino has put down 10% house edge (for easier calculations).

Suppose the leading bankroll is your maximum cap of $25M.

With a 10% house edge, to profit 30x, you would have to have a total $7.5B wagered.

In 6 months... that's a lot.

The casino is probably going to have lower house edge though, right? 1%? That'll be 75 billion dollars. Statistically, that is.

I'm not saying the casino can't be profitable but the estimate of 30x profit is insane.

And, if possible, gross profit and expenses (from defaults).

This user has received a lot of positive feedback from newbies, all with the same style of writing.

Pablo598
Arnold5 (brand new!)
Bountyf4
Minecraftbtc
ramzifcb47

are all newbies. Look at the timestamp of the trust feedbacks. Look at the risked amount.

This was brought to my attention when mammabitcoin2u highlighted the user sending bitcoins to an address posted by their alt. [Archive]

I believe it's highly probable considering the accounts that gave trust and the timing of their feedback (close proximity). The alt accounts have also never given feedback to any other account.

It's a classic case of trust abuse. This is scummy behavior.
4597  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal on: July 14, 2017, 11:40:11 AM
My guess is because your posts are shit, not because you cited a dictionary page.

All your posts consisted of oneliners and vague, uninteresting content. Your two most recent posts:

Indeed. As long as there are users there will be demand and supply and bitcoin still lasts.
We never know when but bitcoin will lasts.

Go for both. Even though I'm into waves but stratis also playing good in the market.
Both have great platforms and dev. I'm planning to hold waves for long term.

You copy paste... That's the reason why you were banned in this forum...

Guess I'm wrong.

Which post was it? All the recent ones I looked through were of equal shit quality so I didn't think they were copied.
4598  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch - ICO - Earn BKB for bug reports on: July 14, 2017, 11:27:09 AM
Some people said that the theme on http://test.betking.io is a little plain (even though I like it Smiley )

I asked designer to do a few different designs to see if we can make it a little better.

I'll post each one here for your feedback over the next few weeks and see what you think of each one.

Here's first idea, feedback please.

Huge fan of the font.

The "ENTER X" boxes could be shifted away from the dice in the middle. It's not too great when you have it touching the image in the middle (which could alternatively be shrunk, but I like the current size)

Upper-right: chat bubble. Way too wide. Shrink it down.

I don't like the look of the HI and LO buttons and the bottom box section. I see what your designer was trying to do but they need to cut off the rectangles at the center of the circle (horizontally) and slice off the top portion because it's not being overlapped and looks bad jutting out.

Not much to be said about the bet history page though the leftover empty rectangle could be simply removed (or have some slanted design)

Im here Wink
Not all my work copy.

We cant say plagiarsm because we get source from one place
We get source article from the ico campaign and read the whitepaper for source before write an article.

Not all your English good.

If you're trying to justify yourself by stating that you only plagiarize occasionally then that really says something about your character.

When you have literally two giant paragraphs that are identical in your blog and the medium post, then that is a huge problem. Albeit it seems to be that you are forced to copy & paste in your English articles otherwise you're going to spew nonsensical google-translated crap like this.

manipulation on slots can be proven. the method is simple, they've scripted it so that if 4 reels match the 5th will advance one ahead making a 5 reel match impossible

Slots show you near-misses to get you hooked for visual stimulation. The 5 reel match is typically rare so on the 4 reel matches, they try to get you to go for the jackpot by making you think you just barely missed the big win.

THAT is the real manipulation of slots.

they're using a very old trick that's been used alot on hardware slot machines to make a 5 reel win impossible.

Provably fair software =/= hardware
