4581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities Embracing bitcoin because of Divorce? on: February 05, 2022, 05:31:43 PM
If you have BTC while you are still single and you got married after a year yet you still have your BTC in a wallet. Will these coins in the wallet be considered owned by the couple?
Depending on the agreement when you get married, everything that belong to you will also belong to your partner and vice versa. That is possible...

But it's also possible that the agreement will only count as marital property what was acquired by the couple during the marriage. There are exception though, like the house where the couple lives, for an example. Doesn't matter if it was acquired before the marriage by one the parts. Since they live together there, the house becomes marital property as well and must be splitted in case of divorce.

Bitcoin, on the other hand, is another story, because besides being acquired before the union, it's untouched and not shared to the partner, so it can be considered separate property that will fully remain with the original owner.
4582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Semi Finals. on: February 04, 2022, 08:34:48 PM
Very well played match by Egypt. A weaker team has to know how to take the game from the beginning to the end, and that is how Egypt played with excellency achieving the victory after all. Knowing the adversary was much stronger in skills, they had to go through the longest and most patience demanding path.

For me it wasn't a big surprise, because right after their game against Morocco it was clear Egypt was putting all their effort and energy into progressing on african cup towards the final. Moreover, they are probably one of the most strategical teams of the championship, what puts them in big advantage against every opponents.

Now the final is going to be tough and unpredictable, although I'm inclined to believe in Egypt winning.
4583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Semi Finals. on: February 03, 2022, 05:57:46 PM
Congratulations to Senegal, one of the best national teams of african continent. Who watched the first half of the match couldn't imagine there were going to be so many goals in the second half. Now they are going to try their first title on the history of african cup. I believe if they go against Cameroon for the final, they lose, but if they take Egypt it's possible to win...

Cameroon has a more agressive playstyle and Senegal would probably try to adopt the same strategy against them, what is a big mistake, because they don't have enough conditions to play at same skills' level. However, against Egypt it may work, as skills' level is similar and an offensive strategy may be able to break egyptian defensive lines without much prejudice to their own defense, just like Senegal did with Burkina Faso.
4584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 02, 2022, 08:13:43 PM
I think having used different kinds of crypto casinos for a long time, i find myself going back to a casino if it offers cashbacks for a string of losses as this shows that the acknowledge the bad runs i had and its some sort of second chance...
Other factors that fall in play are bonuses and types of coins supported on the casino.

I can't believe cashback is the most important feature that you can think of. I'd say transparency, lack of KYC, active live support, deposit bonuses... Cashback is nothing really. All casinos can offer it to an extent because they'll make money of you anyway. If you lose 1000$ and they offer you 200 back they still made money. It's just a way to show you they "care" about you and want a loser like you to keep playing. The'll give you back 200 because chances are you're going to bet it again and lose.
The casino will be always in profit, no doubts about it. But I can understand a gambler who sees a lot of benefits in cashback feature. As you said, if he loses 1000$ and the casino returns 200$ back to him, it means less 200$ the gambler will have to spend from his own pocket to keep betting. Moreover, being lucky it's possible to recover the initial loss with the extra 200$ given by the casino, who knows...

For daily gamblers I think cashback has a big impact on long run: they can play for longer, spending less.
4585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs? on: February 02, 2022, 07:07:39 PM
Aren't people already living in virtual fake universes even without the called metaverse hype? Every mmorpg or dumb mobile app game are a kind of metaverse where people put hundreds or thousands of dollars on their accounts to upgrade their stats or make their characters look cooler. And it really works for developers, otherwise many popular online games which are alive for decades already would be dead at this time.

NFT just upgrades this ecosystem a little bit. So instead of only putting money on games without cashing out anything, now you will be able to sell your stuff as well if you wish at some point. For me there isn't any cons on it. That is actually pretty good and rewarding for people who spends their whole lives on virtual environments playing videogames.
4586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST]Countries Where Gambling Is Illegal on: February 02, 2022, 06:12:35 PM
I believe at least half of the world's countries would fit on this list for strict restrictions and regulations on gambling activity on their territories. Even USA, considered the land of the free, isn't free of such bans, as some states consider gambling illegal.

Interesting that all countries, especially the most severe ones, always have exceptions that don't make any sense at all, since gambling is gambling, doesn't matter the game you are betting on. Still, regulators believe slots or dice are harmful, but horse racing or national lottery aren't... What is the difference?
4587  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 02, 2022, 02:17:18 AM
I am still on my old strategy but I think it works better overall than this of the WoF,of course with WoF if you hit a big prize (which happens extremely rarely these days) you have won but in normal conditions where big prizes are rare,I think it is better to play like me,use like near 1200 RP to buy Free Btc Bonus of 1000% and I do this right at 16.00PM when I leave work so I can click a few times during afternoon and night and I can also click during work about 7-8 times.By doing so you will get like 700-900 satoshi daily which can bring you 30-40 FUN token,I find this to be the best way to spend the RP-s.I buy like 30 FUN everyday as minimum but now I am running out of RP so I will have to stop for sometime until I replenish my RP.

I guess it's better to accumulate RP and not spend it on BTC bonuses because it doesn't look profitable. Let's imagine you have 100k reward points and decide to spend it all on BTC bonuses for ~1.2k RP each. In this case, you would only be able to buy 2300-3000 FUN tokens, given that this BTC bonus brings you 700-900 sats daily. On the other hand, if you just exchanged those 100k reward points for 100k sats, you could buy 4000 FUN tokens.
Yes, the most worthful way to use RPs is to accumulate 100K and exchange for 100K satoshis, without any doubts. However, not everyone has patience, hope, perseverance, enough money or referrals to reach that amount before using it, so they simply collect some thousands and start using it for extra wheel's spins or RP bonus. Since those RPs were given "for free", the mindset of "it's better than nothing" is common among many users.
4588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: February 02, 2022, 01:32:56 AM
Today is home teams day except Bolivia all home teams are temporarily wins and maybe until the end, did you watch Uruguay? they are compact to destroy the defense of Venezuela 4-1 so far there is a possibility of additional goals I understand Uruguay is targeting 4th place to stay in the safe zone the difference in points between competitors very close making the competition even tighter.
When a team starts scoring at the first minutes or seconds (like in this case, Uruguay did at 50 seconds of game), it's hard for the opposite team to keep the morale high. Uruguay gave no chance for Venezuela which unfortunatelly wasn't able to play from equal to equal against "la selección celeste". It was tempting to bet on Venezuela due to the high odds and the bad performance of Uruguay on their last games, but it ended that the most expected and low profitable result was the best choice.

The scenario is looking better for Uruguay, but they aren't safe in 4th position yet. Peru may win next game against Equador and take the 4th place from them.
4589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: February 02, 2022, 12:15:59 AM
Fear only affects the small fishes which have no influence over bitcoin's price. If they sell their coins or not, it won't have any impact on bitcoin price at all... The problem are the whales moving huge amounts of bitcoins in single transactions. And they don't do this because they fear the market, rather they sell their coins because a more tempting opportunity is disponible to them (like the currently increase in interest rates in USA) in another market.

So, it's not fear the cause of bearish markets and crashes in price. It's just the lack of temporary interest from big investors for crypto universe because their money is generating more income by sitting somewhere else...
4590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: February 01, 2022, 07:04:30 PM
Many NFT projects started last year, promising to show some progress during this year of 2022 on their roadmap, but so far I haven't seen any results. I don't know if the bear market slowed down NFT projects' developers , but that is what it looks like. Maybe from the second quarter on updates regard NFT games will be introduced and shared with the crypto community.
There are many promises on this NFT industry, but too little was delivered to investors and enthusiasts for real. So we have to be careful to not believe in anything we see around, only investing in something you see working on practice. Beware of ponzi NFTs.
4591  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF urges El Salvador to remove Bitcoin as legal tender on: February 01, 2022, 05:58:51 PM
IMF wants to show the world what happens to countries which adopt bitcoin as legal tender. They are letting the message very clear: don't ever think about adopting bitcoin, because if you do this, you aren't going to have financial support from us anymore...

Blackmail on its purest form.

In fact what happens is that once governments embrace bitcoin for their own countries, they have to resign loans, international investments or any other kind of partnership with the establishment. It's a difficult decision to make, and I'm not sure if El Salvador is able to go ahead with bitcoin, because they totally depend on international help from IMF to pay the rising debt that might reach to 100% of their GDP soon if something isn't done to control it.
4592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: India proposes 30% tax on crypto and NFTs income on: February 01, 2022, 04:30:25 PM
What? Shocked

This is the most absurd regulation proposal made by a government towards cryptocurrency so far. It's even more absurd than completely banning it as it was presupposed before. I guess in a situation where the investor loses money with crypto and NFT the government is also going to pick the loss in solidarity, compensating 30% of the lost amount back to the investor, right? Wink

Such lunatic concept would only make sense this way... Tongue
4593  Economy / Economics / Re: How To Profit From MASSIVE Inflation on: January 31, 2022, 11:05:44 PM
Massive inflation usually comes side by side with high interest rates. So at the beginning it can be profitable for investors to keep and invest their money on that inflationary currency, just like a ponzi scheme is profitable for early investors, but completely ruins the economies of late ones or of those who aren't agile enough to exchange their money on the right time into a stable currency.

Real estate is great, but you have to keep in mind if it is a good choice to have a property in a chaotic country where massive inflation is a constant threat.
4594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My second purchase with bitcoin on: January 31, 2022, 10:53:01 PM
It's always nice to see people using bitcoin as currency and not only as an investment, as usual. Good that you were able to find an electronics' shop accepting bitcoin as payment method accessible to your location. I'm constantly trying to find some in my place, but google search algorithms aren't helping very much... It would be useful if there were a filter on google shopping search for showing only stores accepting bitcoin as payment.

This way, even smaller shops could get some special attention from crypto enthusiasts, which they aren't able to get at this moment due to the enourmous amount of inaccurate content displayed by google.
4595  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for ways to monetize my crypto traffic on: January 31, 2022, 08:19:12 PM
I suppose you can rent your ads spots at Services section of the forum or maybe should it be posted at Service Announcements?

Someone with a better interpretation of forum sections could enlight me, please?

Anyway, I always see faucet owners renting ads spots on their own faucet main thread... Although I understand you may want to attract more attention than you usually receive at Micro Earnings tab, as the traffic of forum members there is usually lower, especially when compared to Services section.
4596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: January 31, 2022, 06:04:39 PM
Accepting altcoins and free withdrawal I think are also not important but it's a good feature that will make users stick to the casino. Sportsbet has free withdrawal which I think made some of the sports bettors are staying on them.
Accepting wide range of altcoins might be a problem for casinos as number of new coins and tokens are very huge. For example, we did not hear about what is solona some 10 month back but now many gamblers are requesting it in most casinos and similarly lots of casinos started accepting BCH but that coin is almost dying these days hence they need to go for delisting procedure for this coin.

Honestly I am not looking for "free withdraw" to choose my bookie to bet on sports but the better odds. Not sure how many gamblers are following similar criteria but depositing and withdrawing is not happening for me very frequently hence I am not bothering fees associated with these.
I really don't like the listing/delisting altcoins procedure. I think once an altcoin is listed, it should remain there until the end, because sometimes gamblers aren't active on a determined platform for long periods of time, but still have idle funds there. So, what happens if a gambler has a balance in let's say, BCH, and the platform stops dealing with this currency on their site? The gambler will lose his funds and the casino will take it as extra profit.

To prevent this it's important to be active accessing personal email used to sign up on the gambling provider, so important news and announcements won't be missed and in case of an altcoin being delisted, it will be possible to know in advance, having enough time to make the withdrawl in time. But not every gamblers follow closely their email accounts, or due to the high volume of spam from casinos, many messages may be blocked or pass unnoticed.
4597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: January 31, 2022, 04:06:19 PM
yeah, interesting, was not following their qualifications, but Canada is on the top, and probably secured for World Cup now
would this be their first appearance on World Cup?

Mexico and USA should be good as well, Panama is far worst than them, and Mexico is playing Panama in next round, so this could be it, Costarica is far down from them, four rounds, four points, it is hardly manageable to be fourth
Canada has qualified for world cup only once, in 1986, but didn't reach too far anyway...

2022 is going to be their second appearance and in great style, it must be said, as they have been the only national team to win all played matches on the qualification group. Congratulations to them! I hope this world cup is going to be full of good surprises and that Canada can be one of them!

It's amazing when unexpected teams deliver unexpected results!
4598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Quarter Finals. on: January 31, 2022, 01:03:21 AM
Egypt gave everyone a big surprise against  Morocco,  the 2 goals they scored was during a hard time when nobody expected. Their defense was a bit okay during the first half game, I enjoyed the performance of Muhammad salah.
I didn't expect this result. I was waiting to see Morocco winning then when I saw them leading with 1 goal I said KO Egypt.. Surprise, they tied then won 2-1!
For Senegal, they won as expected at least or else it will be weird Cup for real!
Cameroon - Senegal in the final game?
I believe it's certain Senegal will be on the final game. And I was thinking the same about Cameroon, but now i see Egypt is also fighting bravely with all their strength and will for the title. It's not possible to underestimate a team which turned a game around and won like Egypt did today with Morocco. From an initial thought of a safe bet on Cameroon now I'm doubtful if I really should do it... It must be going to be a strategical game, and if Egypt uses it at their own favour playing using the mind smartly and not only relying on physical skills, there are serious chances they can win.
4599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site in 2021 on: January 30, 2022, 10:53:05 PM
Without a doubt many gamblers are attracted by the idea of a casino that gives huge bonuses but it is important to be careful, many scammers know that this is what gamblers are looking for more than anything and as such they offer huge bonuses knowing from the beginning they are not going to honer the bets or allow withdrawals at all, so while looking for important bonuses is fine we must always see if the casino has in fact a good reputation, and if this is not the case then we need to avoid that casino.
I don't see a reason why a legitimate casino would turn out to be a scam just because they have a bonus offer.

If that casino has been reputable all of these times, I don't think that they'll turn themselves into a scammer just because they don't want to pay those customers that are eligible for it.

I know some did but these times, I don't think they'll do that.
I think scam casinos have a mindset to steal from the players and that is why they always come up with different rules at different stages some rules only come up when there is a big winning balance if you won the bet through a bonus then you will be shown an exit way out.
These have been the cases we have against some casinos in reputation and scam accusations.
Yeah, their intentions aren't good since the very beginning or as you said: they have a mindset to steal. Because in a situation where the casino is just lacking funds on the present moment to pay a jackpot or any other promotional reward to a gambler, they could simply tell the person the prize is going to take some time to arrive, that is, until the casino makes enough profit to pay it. But they can never add new requirements to the rules or change the rules meanwhile. The approach used towards customers is what differentiate legit businessmen from scammer ones.
4600  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 30, 2022, 09:31:40 PM
I also sometimes feel strange and confused why people keep complaining and regretting about something and then telling what they feel in this forum. I don't know whether they are exactly honest or not with the feeling or complaints. But in fact, they always come here, more, telling about what their regret of selling the price at low, the regret of not buying anything in dip, and also others.
And it makes sense why you also fel the same. Why should complain here while you yourself don't buy anything?
I think to share stories like this are useful as a learnship process for those who are going to read it, so they can avoid commiting the same mistakes, and at same time to share these stories help the person who missed the opportunity to unburden the pain that is to keep these regrets stucked on his own mind. When people talk and express themselves about their feelings, dreams and regrets, they feel better, more confident and recharge their energies for future challenges that they will certainly encounter on their lives.
