What is the background of such speculation? I agree with your initial statement where you said that inflation will be high and loans will be cheaper. We have already started seeing that trend and majority of the Central Banks are gearing up to reduce the basic lending rate. This situation is called stagflation. Ideally, when inflation is high, lending rate goes costlier to tackle it. But what is happening currently is called stagflation and it's not easy to get out of this scenario. However, I don't get the background of your statement when you say that everything will collapse in 2025. What triggered such thought? @avikz the initial part is correct as loans will indeed get cheaper, but I don’t expect defaulters to get loan that easily considering banks won’t like to give more loans to people who have already defaulted on their existing debts. It's a shame that all bets would have to be canceled now as fixtures keep getting suspended. It's for the best anyway, and I hope BTC takes off and lands in the $6,501 - $7,000 zone before March ends  This is very frustrating for the sports betting gamblers and also for the players who actually play those sports. Also bitcoin is continually dumping for the last few days which is very bad also. I thought bitcoin prices will rise and bitcoin will act as s safest heaven along with gold, but this was not too happen and bitcoin is more volatile than ever. I can't see any other explanation. And It was we who invited them in. And they shorted the fuck out of us. Those are my thoughts exactly, they dump BTC to support their falling stocks. Time will tell if this strategy will be beneficial for them, or will they regret throwing away their only good asset. As for the betting on Bitcoin price, I think we are in the situation when waiting till the last hour is the best option. No one, I'm sure, absolutely no one can predict what the price can be at 23.59 UTC on the 31st of March 2020. But at least we can wait 8 more days to have a better idea. @betwrong this is one bet that I would happily loose just to see bitcoin prices shoot upwards from the levels I have selected, but at this stage there’s so much uncertainty that it’s impossible to choose a correct level. Ouch, sad news for tennis fans here, I'm excited to watch this tournament and make some beats, unfortunately, it looks like the corona virus pandemic has really affected us, even in sports. Yeah its not looking good for tennis with the corona virus, its okay if the smaller tournaments are cancelled however some players use these tournaments to help get them fit ready for the bigger tournaments and grand slams. I am afraid about my job as well. The markets are collapsing and many of the companies are a few weeks away from bankruptcy.

The Australia v New Zealand match still went ahead but with no fans in the stadium which was a different experience when watching it on TV. I actually found the match a little boring with out the crowd, its just not the same. It must be an experience for the players as well as there is no crowd to get behind the teams. Australia ended up winning the match easily in the end as New Zealand didn't really offer much. It looks like the series will continue even though almost all other sports have been cancelled around the world, even the SA and India ODI series has been cancelled. This could last many months unless the corona virus is under control.
In countries where not enough precautions were taken, the virus has spread at a startling rate. So I would agree with the decision by various cricket boards to cancel bilateral series and other tournaments. For now, the BCCI has postponed the IPL by two weeks. To be honest, I don't think that this is enough. They need to postpone it by at least 6 months, as there is hardly any chance that the situation will get contained in two weeks. @vella85 I was really surprised to see that the match wasn’t canceled, and in my personal opinion they should have canceled this match first and then the series as players safety is also important. @vishu.reang well we all know that BCCI loves to make money and IPL is it’s biggest event where they’ll earn lots of money so I was not surprised to know that they yet haven’t canceled it, but given how rapidly the virus is spreading maybe they’ll be forced to cancel it in the end. |

The CEO of Hong Kong-based crypto derivatives exchange FTX has speculated that if BitMEX had not gone offline on account of “hardware issues” Friday morning, the price of Bitcoin could have crashed to zero.
Sam Bankman-Fried, a.k.a. SBF, mused in a thread on Twitter Friday morning that BitMEX may have pulled their exchange offline out of fear their liquidation engine could collapse the XBTUSD order book all the way down to zero, under the false flag of hardware issues.
What do you’ll think of this two theory’s: 1) that bitcoin prices would have crashed to zero, and 2) that BitMEX intentionally suspended trading at their exchange. In my personal opinion both are false, but I’m keen to know what the community thinks of this and do have a look at BitMEX response below before you form your opinion on this.
BitMEX responded to SBF’s allegation on Twitter, rejecting it as a “conspiracy theory,” and that in fact the exchange had been prepared for such an event.

The EPL will be suspended soon, Arsenal but also some Leicester players are infected. Both teams should be quarantined, i guess after this weekend games the decision will be made to postpone it 3 Leicester players so far have Corona virus symptoms, and are in isolation but they are not confirmed positive yet. After Arteta being first confirmed positive, only reasonable thing to do is suspend all games, as it won't end up just with him. Most likely some other team members will be positive as well. That's how it goes. Similar thing happened with Gobert in NBA, soon after him being confirmed positive, same thing happened with his teammate Mitchell. I was just scrolling through my news feed and I found out that Arteta had tested positive for coronavirus, and before I could recover from the shock I found out that Callum Hudson-Odoi too tested positive for COVID-19 which is really very sad. Furthermore I’m deeply concerned about the security of the fans and the players as the Premier League fixtures have yet not been called off, and we will have to wait and see if the fixtures get postponed or no as all 20 clubs are meeting today to discuss on this issue. Read that news sadly today and heard rumors that UEFA Champions League and Europa League will be postponed also or even cancelled. I don't know about other leagues but expect the French one will be next or maybe EPL... Real Madrid is in quarantine BTW @tomahawk9 the decision to shut down La Liga for two weeks absolutely makes sense, as they have prioritised the safety of their fans and the players and hopefully things will get sorted out there soon. @snipie yes Real Madrid players are in quarantine, and I’m praying for them to test negative for this virus.
