I was amazed how many
people are dealing in Monero these days
The number is high right? How about Bitcoin usage over there?

but what caught my attention was the dirty panties. That disgusted me
to no end... why would someone want to buy used panties with stains all over it?

Probably for black magic thing. I have read lots of stories about people "stealing" things like that from people's refuge bin for the magic thing.

Another possible reason is to sniff or smoke them in order to get high, I guess.
It's a strange world we live in.
4582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain Domain See Adoption? on: November 20, 2019, 10:51:18 AM
Interesting. Do you have any example of such Blockchain domain, like the example (alice.crypto) on that atomicwallet article?
Wish I could see how usable the domains are. I have seen similar domains in the past... they were not very portable but are still great stuff.

4583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you close your Bank account, when your Bank turn against Crypto? on: November 20, 2019, 09:14:43 AM

We do not need Banks, because P2P conversion is possible without Banks, but it just makes things so much easier for people dealing with exchanges

Peer-to-peer (especially decentralized p2p) remains the best way to exchange money in crypto world.
"Easier" does not equal "better". I believe most of us already know why p2p is very important. This is one of the reasons we chose Bitcoin/cryptocurrency in the first place.
To be honest, once I find good, easy-to-use DEXes that work well on mobile phones, I will not use alots of platforms I use today.

4584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 20, 2019, 08:46:56 AM
My point is, politics is never about the truth, but about "public perception." What makes you a gambler? You or other people's opinions? You can keep doing what you do in secret, and keep telling the public that you are "the most honest man ever existed."
Absolutely, politicians always act like they are a saint and yet part of evil on the other side. And even if you change your lifestyle, people that knew you will always have to say about you hence you will look like a hypocrite to others, so what's the point?

Well, there are no pure-hearted people in this world, there are no people to be called a saint. There is always a dark side, and gambling should not be considered as an evil, politicians and public people think of it like that which is wrong.
I do agree. If you gamble, you don't have to change your lifestyle, even if you change it, there are still some people who will judge you and make you look bad in front of other people.

Most people probably don't know that we gamble more often than not in our lifetime, otherwise things would be much easier and sustainable in our world.
We live in an imperfect world and very limited in our abilities and knowledge. So we have to take some risks or gamble on alots things to move up in life
4585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 20, 2019, 08:15:06 AM
Fiat is definitely more convenient for people mostly to due to the huge numbers of products and services that accept fiat currencies.
But I would prefer Cryptocurrency and probably physical fiat currency for physical casinos, for the benefit of anonymity and censorship-resistant.

4586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: November 20, 2019, 07:27:47 AM
That's an unfortunate experience and not worth it fee for the tipster you have. I thought that it was just about a single 'tip' which was given by most here freely. But I have never purchased anything like that before, you can get a lot of opinions by asking a certain match that you are interested of betting of what are their insights about it. And instead of paying that amount, you can do some other things with it.

I have actually noticed people offering free tips on this section. I wonder why people don't use them that much. Op probably should have opened a thread to share ideas with other sports fans rather than paying so much for tips that do ne come with guaranteed profit.
4587  Other / Off-topic / Re: If Other coin likely ETH Will Take over on: November 19, 2019, 04:08:01 PM
Lol,but bitcointalk.org is independent of Bitcoin, though it is owned by Bitcoin developers. How will Ethereum issues affect the forum when it's in no way tied to Ethereum?
Ethereum probably has its own forum/community just like some other Cryptocurrencies
4588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: November 19, 2019, 01:37:03 PM
My criteria would be provable fair, fast withdrawal, Crypto-based gambling, multiple cryptocoins, multiple games (especially skill-based games). Number 3, 8 and 6 are also good criteria I will likely consider.
4589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 19, 2019, 01:07:28 PM
Ok you are gambling just for fun, your friends and neighbors knows that and a friend invited you to his party to be one of the candidates as a councilor and campaign will start in 6 months, now, of course, you need to have a good reputation, will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.

Well, a habitual gambler will probably need to stop gambling excessively other wise people will assume he is addicted to gambling and won't trust him with such Not many will judge him if he only gambles once in awhile, just as they will see him if he is moderate alcohol drinker. So, I will likely stop if I was regular gambler
4590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We want to build a new mail system on: November 19, 2019, 10:39:02 AM
You mean "hashing" rather than encryption?

I guess this has been done already, probably on Bitcoin Blockchain. It should exist on Ethereum Blockchain aswell. But I doubt this will work on large scale due to the limitation of Blockchain. unless you plan to build it on centralized platform or other kind of decentralized system.

4591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Circumvent KYC if You Can? on: November 19, 2019, 09:08:27 AM
Ofcourse, I'd prefer to use money freely without kyc just as we use cash in real world. Online world is unfortunately a weird place to use or exchange money. This is one of the reasons I avoid using money online before discovering Bitcoin. Information about your online purchases with fiats could get into the "wrong hand/hands" one day. Wrong hands could be hackers, extremists, blackmailers, dictators, tyrants, lawless ones etc.

4592  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcoin not supposed to be about FREEDOM ??? on: November 19, 2019, 08:48:23 AM
Your real intentions and the exaggerations are probably why you were censored. This sort of extreme statements(non objective & unproven comments especially) usually lead to volatility and even price dump. I bet that even the freest country on earth would sometimes moderate non-objective, unproven comments or behaviors if they actually lead to instability in the country.

4593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is True Decentralization a Myth? on: November 17, 2019, 06:59:43 PM
No, it's not a myth atall. Nothing is impossible really.  People probably don't understand what true decentralization is, or don't know how to make things truely decentralized or don't want people to know that true decentralization is possible. I don't want to say much about this. I believe a time will come when most people will yern for true decentralizion.
4594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2019, 06:03:57 PM
Both hold and trade are better in my opinion.

It's probably best to have three address categories for Bitcoin/Cryptocurrencies: 1. a separate address/addresses for long-term hold, second address/addresses for regular trading and the third one for storing some fund in stablecoin. This is another form of decentralization...not wise to put all your eggs in one basket.
4595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mempool Attack? on: November 17, 2019, 05:26:11 PM
There's a thread on this here - bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5201697

It appears to be Binance doing stuff with USDT.

The fact that the fee is so low is showing good practice. If you're in a hurry it's only a tiny bump in fees to bypass it. If it were a spam fest they'd be much higher in an attempt to cock block you.

Interesting.
I noticed that the huge increase did not affect Bitcoin fee and I was a bit surprised. It made me wonder whether something big was fixed in the past that I missed.
I wonder what binance did exactly that could increase the transactions to such extent without affecting the fee.
4596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance.US Will List Qtum (QTUM) on: November 17, 2019, 02:13:35 PM
QTUM should be available on binance main exchange, right? Or is Binance as a whole just discovering the coin?

Seems the listing didn't affect the price of the cryptocurrency that much, probably helped stabilize it at its current price.  Maybe price will go up when trading goes live?
4597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USD vs USDTD on: November 17, 2019, 01:47:38 PM
Do USD and USDT have more or less or the same thing in terms of the price difference? please suggest because I am planning to buy some USDT.

I guess Op wants to know the difference in order to be sure of what he's buying.
USDT is simply pegged to USD. USD is the actual currency which USDT depends on for its own price & stability. If USD rises up, USDT will likely rise up too. If USD falls, USDT will likely fall too. One follows the other... So you should always expect usdt price adjustment to tally with USD price . I don't know if this is how things are handle by Tether though.
4598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you are Satoshi Millionaire? on: November 17, 2019, 12:50:40 PM
Satoshi Millionaire is one, who has 1 million Satoshi, i.e. 0.01 BTC.

There was a time when new entrants wanted to reach goal of 21 BTC, i.e. one in a million. Then it became Satoshi Billionaire, i.e. 10 BTC. Then 21 million club, i.e. 1 BTC. Now, owning 1 BTC is difficult and being a Satoshi Millionaire is the new goal.

This is quite interesting. Could it have been tried in the past? And maybe that's what some misinterpreted as 1 million satoshis owned by Satoshi? I hope not. Sometimes I wish he really owned alot of coins because he deserves it.

Well, I probably will have some saved long-term for others inheritance. Hopefully, it becomes very valuable by then. But I wouldn't hope on it too much.
4599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 17, 2019, 09:42:41 AM
I run a small poll, on the topic of "Why you gamble," it goes without saying why you chose the option.
I would also like to know how old you started to gamble?

If you select an option(1,23,4,5,6), reply

1.Enjoying- How much money does it go to weekly?
2.I love- Do you also like alcohol, as you like gambling?
3.Hope for a win- How much did you earn in one day?
4.Fun- You play Ofline or online casino?
5.I'm addicted- Ever since you found out you are a betting addict, what is your problem, does your father, grandfather or anybody else gamble a lot?
6.Other- What is the option, explain us a little better?

It's interesting no one voted "I'm addicted". I wonder if we don't really have even few addicts here. I guess they are shy, scared to click on it, or probably don't know they are addicted...

Mine is probably 3. My first try of online gambling was probably 2016 or 2017. And that was when I got few Bitcoin from a faucet/gambling site. I think I played hoping to win. I played once or few times & didnt play again till this year(2019)with bonuses. I probably will try again when I find a game that interest me... most likely skill-based games.
4600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 6 on: November 17, 2019, 08:53:59 AM
Let's get this started already! Currently on a mixed mood right now. LoL. I wonder how many users will participate this week after starting on an early day.

So here, what if if a certain platform gives a random time for free bets within a minute, would you stay awake and online just to participate on that lucky event? Besides you'll never know you might hit the jackpot after you make all the bets within a minute.
Somewhere like this:
"In this month, we will be having a free bet on a minute just stay tuned for we will hit it randomly and it will be made only 3times as a whole"

Now you guys, hit it!

Why would I participate in such bet when their are quite a number of gambling sites offering free bets(isn't free bet thesame as "bonus" bets or something?). is the chance of winning free bet higher?
Or you mean betting continuously for free in one random minute?  And will the free one minute bets be for everyone who stays awake?
Well, I doubt I will stay awake for such bets, especially if there is low chance of winning. I will probably use bot for that, if it's allowed. I doubt bots will be allowed though, otherwise most people will use bots anyway.
So, the bot will stay awake (instead of me) to bet when it detects the random time.
