Not rich by any means. I don't earn money with bitcoin, as most investment opportunities are straight up scams. And trading is risky as hell. I use my own money, hard-earned from my job, to buy btc. Maybe I'll get rich, maybe not.

If we compare it to the fiats, it will be like the Bitcoin will be the dollars and these altcoins will be the other currencies, that's my opinion atleast. This is a nice analogy, some people have been predicting a reversing where ETH surpass bitcoin in market cap, but I do not think that is going to happen anytime soon or at all since bitcoin is as you state the equivalent of the dollar, all the altcoins are priced in bitcoins that should be telling enough in my mind about the current state of things. Most likely we'll test the $3000 levels and attempt to break for an ATH. That is of course if the bitmain folks won't try to make an altcoin out of BTC.
Most people seem to agree that there are 3 outcomes for BTC.
1. Segwit gets activated, there's no hard fork = pump
2. There's a hard fork and 1 coin wins with overwhelming majority of support = most likely a pump after some perturbations
3. A hard fork divides the community into two equal groups = most likely a dump and split of value
Option 3 is the least probable though.

I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.
