461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: September 30, 2017, 12:46:34 AM
I'm wondering this because is such a real threat to bank system and we all know how banks and governments are tightly linked !

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ?

Yes you are right. I think why some governments are not in favor to legalize the bitcoin is because when you earn bitcoin it has no tax. As we know the salary and projects from the government officials came from our taxes. In our modern society now there are many corruptions maybe because they cant also get any kickback on bitcoin thats why they dont want to legalize it.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: September 25, 2017, 02:56:40 PM
It is really difficult to teach bitcoin to someone who isn't interested because they won't pay attention or they don't want to understand a thing you're saying. I think the better approach is ask them if they want to know about it and if they are ready to listen that is the time to teach them because if they are pretty occupied by the things they're doing they won't give enough time for it.
464  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: how to convince people about bitcoin on: September 23, 2017, 10:52:20 AM

465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: September 22, 2017, 03:21:14 PM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.

Yes all of  the advantages you said is correct. In additional to bitcoin advantage it helps those people to get out from poverty because they can easily earn it. It also gives additional knowledge, skills, and strategy to the people whos earning bitcoin.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: September 22, 2017, 03:09:13 PM
No, We still need the real currency to exchange our bitcoin into real money. Without it bitcoin is useless unless if they allowed the bitcoin as a real currency also or cashless payment system. From that we can say that crypto is now even better that regular currency. But for now we need them both so we can use them both.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: September 22, 2017, 03:04:53 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?

I'd prefer to store bitcoin rather than gold. Yes bitcoin has a high value also but it is hard to earn. But in bitcoin it is easy to earn because it came from technology and it has a huge value also. Aside from that bitcoin is not hassle to store because if you want to exchange it you can exchange it through internet. But in gold you need to find a shop or store to exchange your gold into money.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: September 21, 2017, 12:06:37 PM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?
I think bitcoin can change slightly the economy of a specific country. Yes many people get money from bitcoin even they don't find a job because they can easily earn the money from bitcoin. But to change the economic status of a country it must have a lot of job, resources and investors.

470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BAN ON BITCOINS!! on: September 20, 2017, 05:35:34 AM
I dont know why but iam scared of bitcoin getting ban.
Because of the china situation is there any possibility that bitcoin will get ban in every single country

There is possibility that it will happen. But you don't have to worry because I think bitcoin will not get banned in the whole world. Yes some country might ban bitcoin but I think it will affect only the bitcoin price. As you can see there has been an issue about bitcoin in china then the bitcoin price went down but as you can see also it rises up again.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me a bitcoin wallet on: September 20, 2017, 12:54:14 AM
*sorry if this topic is not suitable here, but i need help.

Hi,
I am using coinbase since from the start. But now i want to change my bitcoin wallet. Since coinbase disabled the sign message option for the users,i want to leave them permanent and badly need a secure wallet for my hardly earned bitcoin.

I don't want to download the full blockchain, and don't know which wallet is safe and easy for me.So please help me out.

I have only coinbase wallet, i never used any other wallet.

In my country we use coins.ph because it is the safest wallet that we can store our bitcoin if you're currency is peso. But there is one more wallet I know. It's blockchain wallet. I have an account on that site they says that it's safe to store bitcoin there. But I haven't tried storing bitcoin on that wallet but I could say it's safe because of the feedbacks that I have read.
472  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: September 19, 2017, 12:55:13 PM
I heard bitcoin for the first time is through my classmate because he keeps talking about it and I can see how his life became comfortable because of bitcoin. He also shows how much he is earning and I became curious about it and started asking questions about it.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: September 18, 2017, 02:08:03 PM
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

We all know that bitcoin is still not popular in some other countries. So I think we cannot use bitcoin to pay our daily expenses. Because we all know that bitcoin is still digital currency so for us to use the value of bitcoin we need to convert in into real money. So I think one of the list why we cannot use the bitcoin for paying our expenses is because of it's high value and it's still digital. Many hackers are there to steal your money so it is still not safe to use bitcoin.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: September 18, 2017, 02:02:15 PM
If I have a lot of bitcoin ofcourse I will spend it but if the price is good. Even you have a lot of bitcoin but if the price is low I think its nor worthy to spend it. So for me if the price is good then i'll go spending but I will save still bitcoin and invest it again so I can earn again.
475  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: September 16, 2017, 10:54:36 AM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

If you started to store bitcoin when the price of it is just $800+ something. Then you have a huge profit now. Those people believes in bitcoin that no matter what happen the price of bitcoin will increase more so they can get a lot of profit. I regret because I didn't believe in bitcoin when the price of it is low. Now no matter what happen I will continue storing my bitcoin until it reaches the value I want.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 16, 2017, 10:28:49 AM
Bitcoin in college is a50-50 chance. Which mostly depend upon Academic interest. It can be an interesting subject in college. It helps students to konw about the online hidden currency and its uses. It can be take part a great role in their life.

Yes you're correct because not every countries in the world agrees with bitcoin some of them are banning bitcoin to their country. If there's any chance of teaching bitcoin in college it is a good start for the young people to earn something and doing something worthwhile.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we buy now or sell? on: September 15, 2017, 12:34:41 PM
What's actually happening with bitcoin? Market is collapsing hugely. Is this the better time to buy or sell? And will it goes under 2000 or 1000? If so should we buy then? Suggestions would be helpful

We do not know what is really happening but I think china has a part of this bitcoin dropping. If I were in you position I will buy bitcoin when the price reaches below $1500. We don't need to get panic just because bitcoin value is dropping but use this as an opportunity to buy bitcoin at lowest price then sell it when the price of bitcoin pumps again. So don't panic it's just part of the price of bitcoin.
Magpapatuloy Kapa rin ba ? on: September 15, 2017, 12:25:26 PM
Opinion Niyo po .
Oo.
480  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: September 15, 2017, 12:13:32 PM
what's happening in the bitcoin?? Why continue his descent? should we Convert bitcoin in php?? Im worried for this, my bitcoin is still down,
It's up to you if you want to convert your bitcoin or not. We cannot determine the value of bitcoin so it will depends on your strategy how will you manage you bitcoin. Yes it's very sadly for all of us that bitcoin value is continuously dropping but it's part of the bitcoin. So if I will give you a suggestion, i'll suggest better to keep it while bitcoin is still dropping.
