461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: October 07, 2017, 12:14:16 AM
I really love and hate altcoins because I've been through so much after all the years now
I've made a lot of profit and lost a lot too
But I really like this
It's kinda raw somehow

I think all of us have this kind of feeling when it becomes to altcoins because not all altcoins are successful. Despite of that, at least they hhave given us some profits to increases our investment even uf it is just a cheap coin at least we gain on it. Money is money for me even how small it is because it can still counts. Here in this business, we need to be prepared in this ups and downs, this is a pretty risky job because the values are not stable ao we just need a lottle bit of luck and a lot of patience.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: October 06, 2017, 09:56:50 PM
Nobody wants to be monitoring the prices all day with the cursor on the sell button just waiting to click the mouse, so how do you decide when to sell?

If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.

What's your strategy?

I decide when to sell whenever the price is high, because who want to have a lower profits if you can have a higher one if you just keep it for a while. In this business you need to have a lot of patience because some coins worth nothing at first but after a month or a couple of months their value will rise back up and you can get even triple the price it was before. So you need to keep it first and do mot be so greedy when it becomes to money. The right time for the right price.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: October 06, 2017, 03:26:49 PM
Guys sorry for this question above but I would like to ask here that

What is the difference of Trading to Investing?

though I know that I can search it in google but I want an answer from those people who have already experienced this two.
Thank you.

I hope you can help me in my confusion..

For me personally the difference between trading and investing is, trading is more likely on buying coins and then selling it when the value is high. While investment is lending money on an ICO and hoping for a bigger income. And investment is more like involves spending money on some ICOs like buying a lot of coins then holding it for a long time, while tradings are those coins you gain in a bounty campaign you collect them them trade them or sell them after a while. They are somehow related to each other.

Or paano kapag tumaas, diba maaaring mayroon isa saatin ang malugi, pwedeng yung pinagbilan natin or tayo mismo. Pero gusto ko na sana dumami ang mga establishment na tumanggap na ng bitcoin as a payment.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie to Altcoins on: October 06, 2017, 05:04:07 AM
Hi there, I'm new to altcoins. Anyone has some usefull tips? Or a strategy that worked for you? Smiley

My simple advice is just keep on gaining more knowledge and how cam you gain? Just post in some threads and read some of those answers and you can easily widen your learnings about altcoins. There are millions of altcoins are there and not all of them are successful. There are only few of them are successful like ethereum, for me that is the most successful altcoin. So if you wanted to invest on altcoins probably chose ethereum rather than anything else. Join in a bounty campaign to have a lot of coins
466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: October 06, 2017, 02:48:55 AM
There are many people who lost their money on trading, because trading is unpredictable job, in my opinion i need:
Method ( i must have system trading)
Money ( i must have management of money and risk)
Mind ( i must can control my emotion)
Tell me your opinions?

Yes trafing is indeed an unpredictable job because you cannot say whem do the coins will pump or will dump. There are times that the coins that you are trading is too expensive and which you are able to gain a lot of profit in it. Butbthere are also time that the value of the coins never grows up so you profits will be too small. It is too risky especially when you cannot control ypur emotions because it might lead ypu to much more bad decisions, ypu should not be afraid to lose big money of you want to be a trader.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: October 05, 2017, 03:32:49 PM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?

For me yes, because nowadays you cannot survive in this world without money, if you lived in the city. Because here in the city there is no suxh thing as free, even if there are trees with fruits on your place you cannot get that if that was not yours not unless they given you a permission to. We need food and before we xan obtain food we need to buy it, if we wanted to plant trees or crops we need to buy seeds and buy everything you need to survive this world. Many things are now can be bought by money even people.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: October 05, 2017, 10:14:15 AM
Share your ideas here.   Grin

In my opinion, I think we will be stuck in one price or maybe worse we will all go down.

Here is what happened when US citizens are saving too much.

Quote
That's important because American spenders make up the majority -- about 70% -- of economic activity in the country. If people don't spend, the economy doesn't grow.

Check it out here

For me, my thoughts about this is, when nobody spends on bitcoins and no one is using it anymore it will be worthless. Because anything that people do not use or do not cared about have no value. Because for me, what is the point of it being too much expensive if no one are spending on it and no one cared about it. It is just like a law of supply and demand, if that things dont have a demands the value of it will fall until it will be totally destroyed. But we all know that bitcoins will not go to that stage because they have been successful all through this years.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 05, 2017, 03:18:44 AM
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

I think that money for me personally, paper money will not be used anymore when the government start to accept cryptocurrencies. And the most likely to happen is the old paper money will be converted into a digital currency as a start of the future. Because you dont want to have flying cars and other high technology with a paper money. Of course money also meed an improvement and need to be technologically inclined like the other things. So to be updated our currency today will have a digital version.
470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: October 04, 2017, 03:32:35 PM
If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?

For me it is still the bitcoins because there are way too expensive and successful so less risk to have rather than altcoins. But still there are risk, because it might fall like when the segwit occurs or aome country will banned it again. But altcoins on the other hand was also a great investment but the only thing that i see to have a good outcome is the ethereum because that is the only altcoin for me that have a great potential like what bitcoins have before.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world? on: October 04, 2017, 12:20:11 PM
I would like to say a word or two about getting rich fast:

Im since more than 20 years in business and over this time I passed many ups and downs in various branches. It does not mater in which branch you try to make a profit, but you need to be aware of that get rich fast schemes are mostly scam or will bring a very bitter taste at the end with it.

Do not let yourself be fooled about something to be FREE or promising you will earn in no time xxx of money. This is most likely not going to happen! And Even if it does in the one or other case, I saw some people getting rich fast and ending up with big depth, because none of them had experience with the problems coming up with getting rich quick and what it actually means to make a lot of money in short time and how it will influence the life as you knew it.

I can tell that the average person that got "rich" needed at least 2 - 5 years to become it and it allays was hard work not playing lotto and hope for the win.

*************************************************************************************************************************************************

- If you have you own crypto project or planning to make one, do not let yourself and others be fooled to get rich fast!

- If you invest in an ico, do not be driven by greed, see it as a business opportunity that could bring you a nice profit over time (if no scam ofc )

- If you trade BTC or alt coins, do not join pump and dump coins, too many traders lost enough money by doing so. Not that it is not possible to make fast money, but the greed will drive you so far that you will loose your objective, analytic thinking and will let you take bigger and bigger risks!

*************************************************************************************************************************************************

What ever you do, aiming for the steady long term profit is most of the time the harder and longer way, but it will be less painful!

For me personally my perspective on how to become rich with a short time span is to be smart and not just smart but to be wise and productive. Do not rely on just one source of income, think of ways on how will you get a lot of profits. Join different campaigns, but when I say different I what I mean in that was to join in a bounty or signature while at the same time twitter campaigns because you can do both, it is a different medium. Do other online jobs that involves cryptos or invest in some icos.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys withdraw your bitcoins to cash? on: October 04, 2017, 03:24:29 AM
I know that for some of you, you can withdraw it directly to your bank account using wallets like coinbase but this feature is not available for many countries.
Since its not available in my country too I always withdraw my bitcoins from my address to payza then from payza to payoneer (by using exchangers).

How do you guys withdraw your btc?

I withdraw my bitcoins using the app called coins.ph, since here in our country, bitcoins are accepted by selected banks so I can easily withdraw all my bitcoins if I wanted too. With just a single tap on my smart phone I can withdraw mt bitcoins into a real cash even in an atm machines even without any atm cards. I will just simply put the code that has been sent to my email then Im ready to go. So bitcoins are pretty useful here in my country because it is accepted ba banks.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: October 03, 2017, 10:32:07 PM
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Didn't we had enough of this?

Yes I still support ethereum 100% because it is still a successful coins. And I know that next year and the next couple of years they will be successful to the point that theur value will grow just like what happened to bitcoins. But I know that bitcoins will always be the number one in this league, but also they will always be an ethereum right behind the bitcoins that was acting like a sidekick. I see a lot of potential in this coins knowing that theybare the most expensive in the world of altcoins.
474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: October 03, 2017, 01:44:37 PM
“One thing very good traders have is insight into themselves.” - Chris Tate

FUN AND GAMES
Recently Louise Bedford and I have been doing the Short Term Trading Magic seminars in a few places and it has been sometime since I did any form of presentation on a semi regular basis. As such it has been interesting to observe people as they work through various trading issues.

One of the things I have noted is that people take trading far too seriously and this is reflected in a form of desperation. Desperation is the antithesis of the state of mind you need to be in to trade effectively.

There is no deny that this is a phase everyone enters at some stage in their career but to be successful you need to move beyond this and begin to treat trading as the game that it is. Once I started treating trading as a game then it became so much easier on the soul and my results reflected this. I even have a t-shirt that says that the fewer fucks I give the more I make.

This is not to say that I am reckless but rather that I am in no way wedded to the outcome of any trade. At its core my life will not change if a trade or even a cluster of trades are winners or losers – they are simply not that important. When compared to real life, trading is nowhere near as important as people think it is.

It is often commented that children are better are learning new things than adults who seem set in their ways. I am not so certain that this is a reflection of any great cognitive superiority or plasticity that the young may have but rather a reflection of their willingness to be both wrong and to play. Young children have no ego therefore the mistakes that their play generate have no impact upon their sense of self-worth. As adults we lose this resilience because we believe that it is somehow catastrophic to our self-image if we do make mistakes.

But in trading your mistakes are your own – no one else can see them so you are insulated from the judgment of others. This isolation gives you the freedom to be wrong but the only thing you have to cope with is your own judgment.

Markets are a wonderful universes for exploration and for play. The presence of micro contracts in various instruments and online trading mean that you experiment very cheaply.

The price of admission to the fun park is much lower than it used to be and the number of rides has gone through the roof. It is a shame that more traders don’t view trading as little more than a theme park where you can play to your heart’s content and during the process of playing you learn much more than you would if you were consumed by seriousness and desperation.

More trading quotes are below:

“To my way of thinking trading is an internal endeavour – there is no external enemy who you can deceive or overpower since markets only exist in the most ephemeral way inside your head. Markets may appear to be physical constructs but they are largely an illusion, trading occurs inside your head where your own perceptions and distortions of reality influence your decision making.” – Chris Tate

“The one thing you shouldn't feel pressured about is trading. If you do feel that way, you probably need to take a step back and reassess. Pressured trade(r)s don't make good trade(r)s.” – Joe Ross

No i dont see trading as fun and games but rather a professional job. Because this is where I only depend on, I'm just a young guy who cannot find a work who gave a lot of income like this. Even if I don't have any initial money in here like a starting money, I take this seriously because I look at this like my job. I practice my business skills in this in order for me to get used to this kind of situation when I'm going to be a future businessman. This is a great practice because I will not lose anything aside from those profit.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: October 03, 2017, 03:58:01 AM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.

My biggest regret to bitcoins was not trusting them before. Because if i just invested or if I just bought bitcoins before I'm probably a millionaire today and enjoying my life. But no I didn't bother to do that and I ignore bitcoins before because I thought it was just used by illegal transactions. And also last segwit, I didn't trust them to rhe point that I converted all of my bitcoins into cash because the price was going down but after the segwit the price goes double, so I lose money and lose all the profits I should have.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 30, 2017, 04:05:14 PM
Bitcoin has pumped back to $4000 and up, without no chinese markets involved, proving that we can survive government bans. I am very confident now in a strong recovery to an ATH. Once we reach ATH in a post-Chinese ban environment, we are going to prove to the world that bans on Bitcoin are useless, so they will either join us or keep getting exposed.

I predict chinese exchanges will eventually be back under regulated licenses, pumping the price even further. Get in now or cry later.

I told you that dont believe the hype, bitcoins are just dropping for a short period of time. I've been in this situation before like in before the segwit. The value almost drops tremendously and what did you do? You all panic sell your bitcoins and now what? After the segwit yyou didnt have the profit that every believers got. Because after that the bitcoins value rises and almost doubles the price. And now the chinese incident, some do not believe because the are afraid to lose money. You need tp be brave in this to be successful.
477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: September 30, 2017, 10:27:38 AM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.

Yes that is right because being afraid of losing profit in this business will not help you to be successful, this also might drag you down and drive you crazy. In this business it is normal that you lose money because the price of the coins  are not stable, you need to take risk in order to gain more. And we all knownthat tradings are sometimes not that successful where the you will lose more money than to gain some. If you let your emotions controls your business you can do bad decision to your career that might ruined you whole money.
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: September 29, 2017, 08:42:46 AM
When do you decide to sell?

Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?

I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage.
This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.

How do you determine when to let it go?

I always sell whenever the price is right. I do not have some percentage when to sell it, I just compute all of what I'll going to earn if I sell it today and if I liked the price then I will set it into the market but if the price seems to small i will continue to hold it for a while. Because I noticed that if you just hold it for a while whenever the value is too small, it can grow much bigger the next time around so why be so fast. In this business we need a lot of patience and wise minds.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: September 29, 2017, 03:09:44 AM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

Why does they are being compared to each other? We all know that bitcoin cash are just an altcoins that is derived from bitcoins. Although their value is a little bit pricey and more expensive than ethereum but compared to bitcoins? They not even reached the half of its price. So for me bitcoins are still the number one in this business and besides the splits never let the bitcoins destroyed. As a matter of fact the value of bitcoins almost increase higher after that split which is a very good chance. Bitcoins a way too far ahead from bitcoin cash.
480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 28, 2017, 01:05:38 PM
Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).

Probably do nothing, just stay calm and do the same thing you do when the price was stable. But the only exception you will do is do not panic selling, it is a big mistake to doubt the bitcoins and all the other successful coins capabilities. It will just lead you to a bad place, whenever theur value was down, just hold them it is just a temporary fall we all know that their value will come back again and even rise up more. Even if that coin is a shitcoins where it doesn't have a ny future. Just think wisely and dont do things that you will regret
