It's little bit hard especially if dev was anonym if not the you can try to track their profile and look their experience or anything. Sometimes a project with a good vision and mission and other convincing factors can end up being a scam. My advice Maybe it's better to follow a project with more transparent development process and real person on their team.

Well since now NFT was more focused only on Collectibles and that was not my thing so i really love NFT that bringing Digital Games to the Blockchain and the most favorit project so far it's Axie Infinity, Tons of different games mode with awesome community, Beside that we can breed, Combine same like Classic JARPG, The storyline was good too which making me not boring to play Axie Infinity.

Basically current Blockchain-Based Games (NFT) Especially Axie Infinity have same concept with JRPG/JARPG classic game For example like Fate Series, The gameplay is Turn based and not very interesting for some people but I think it's interesting with different strategies and of course the storyline. I personally see axie infinity has reached the same point as Classic JRPG/JARPG where it can exchange cards/items but it's decentralized where Classic JRPG/JARPG is fully managed centralized system. What's in my mind right now is that in the future we can exchange achievements or Axie Infinity can cooperate with other games and get early access by finishing some mode from games that partnering with Axie Infinity (Like Tickets, Special Items), So this creates an healthy environment that supports each other, especially in the Blockchain market.

Not sure is there any replacement for now, IMHO Ethereum 2.0 Will change everything and will make eth more unstoppable with more features but lower cost but if you ask me there will be small chance that some Network will replace it, Some of Them is Polkadot, AVAX, TRX or BSC but i suppose it's just going to become alternative for ETH. Inflation is bad but I think it all depends on the development of the Network itself and the use case, Polkadot is a Good Coin with an innovative use case but Inflation is one of the drawbacks just like Ethereum even though Inflation continues to happen but is still used to this day because of its strong community. large and spacious with a variety of different use cases. AVAX does have advantages over DOT or ETH but everything can't be instant, There will be a process that occurs before it is accepted in the market as a better "Option".

Not sure too but it possible even though the chance was small, ADA was great and have solid community but Ethereum was also have an great community with much higher audience, It's also offering more powerful Smart Contract For now with tons of more and more project using Ethereum as it basis.
