461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yelp’s Bitcoin Filter Could Kickstart Weak Crypto Adoption on: April 26, 2019, 12:22:42 PM
That's a cool thing but as I know Yelp is considered as a "local" service where people are looking for someone nearby. For example for a groomer it is a stupid move to accept crypto as a payment simply because there is probably not much of BTC accepting services around you and you would have to exchange those coins to fiat in order to use them.
The situation could be different if you could someone from another countries for services.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chances of successful double spend RBF on: April 26, 2019, 12:17:30 PM
First of all if you own some shitty shot and know nothing about cryptocurrencies then you shouldn't integrate them into your business. Don't be retarded.
If you still going to do this then you can safely do it via BitPay. Otherwise, you would have to wait for a couple of confirmations. During this time your client should wait with you. Unfortunately, you won't get rid of it.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gab wants to make a browser rewarding you in BTC on: April 26, 2019, 12:11:25 PM
Would be great for blocking ads and getting paid at the same time. However, why undergo KYC. I think I have been seeing this before and this also goes with referral. A lot of people are promoting this in our country, if I am not mistaken.
You can just install any ad blocker to any browser. That's not really a strong feature of Gab. Payrates would also be pretty low. It seems like those 5$ that were mentioned on this topic are way overestimated. As I remember, any kind of service that gave some rewards for doing almost nothing had incredibly low payrates. I guess that you would have to use this browser for a year in order to get enough funds to pay tx fees for sending those rewards to someone.
464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Will We Get a Strong Trend Reversal Signal? on: April 24, 2019, 05:51:23 PM
It is important to remember that even if it is a sign of a bullish trend we still doesn't know how long would this trend last. 2017 won't happen again and with a high chance Bitcoin will not be growing during the whole year just as it has been falling before. It may easily grow back to 10$k and than fall back to 3$k.
The smaller periods are probably not interested to people that are not speculating on BTC.
465  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which other emerging technologies are you guys following? on: April 24, 2019, 09:04:48 AM
self-driving cars.

i'm not sure if elon musk is realistic with his timeline (driverless taxi fleet by next year). given the two fatalities by driverless car collisions last year, i think we're still a ways off from his dreams. maybe in a decade?

i sure as hell won't be getting in an uber with no driver anytime soon. Cheesy
As I remember those accidents happened not because of driverless car fault so people that suffered from it can't sue those companies. In this case the same accident could happen also with normal cars. it seems like pretty soon many drivers would lose their jobs.

I'm also trying to follow some news about oil production and any green substitutes.
There is still a huge amount of oil on our planet but people can't get it because it is too expensive. Someone is talking that green energy would become dominant soon but every time it becomes expensive to dig some oil people are inventing some new technologies that would allow them to dig this oil in new places.
466  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learning English on: April 24, 2019, 08:55:49 AM
World's science in concentrated in english speaking countries and every worthy research would probably be written in english. You need to understand this language if you want to get the proper education because a pretty big amount of worthy books are not translated even to the most popular languages while the automated translation still sucks pretty much.

Who will control the world after its end؟
For sure its not US because many countries will fight against them 😂
Like wich countries? Some muslim shitholes? Or maybe africa? Most of US enemies won't cope with a direct military confrontation and  would avoid a world war at all costs.
United States have a huge military budget that is over the budgets of the other wealthiest countries combined. You are underestimating US.

Would be wiser to fear Google and Tencent more than the US & China.
Big corporations are pretty much integrated with the government. So it is basically the same things.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF blog - How to Make Negative Interest Rates Work on: April 24, 2019, 08:15:30 AM

So even if the economy has been doing good in the last 10 years interest rates haven't increased. So what will central banks do to encourage spending after the downturn?
And this is one of the signs that the econnomy was good. If everything is fine then the inflation would be low and interest rates would also be at the low level. And this is also how banks encourage spending. The less interest rates they give, the more affordable loans people have. So people have more opportunities to get an affordable mortrage or open a new business and employ more people.
Where do you see the negative points?
469  Economy / Economics / Re: What currency shall human use when colonizing Mars on: April 24, 2019, 07:49:18 AM
It seems like at the first stages of mars colonization people wouldn't have any currency simply because different exchange operations doesn't have #1 priority when you have to build a place where you can survive. They suppose to have enough supplies for that period.
Afterwards everything depends on how it would go, they may establish a new fiat currency or use a currency of a country that colonized mars. Cryptocurrencies are not an option in all cases.

Marscoin  Tongue Tongue Tongue
I'm not joking. There is already a currency with that name that was designed to be used in Mars.
Perhaps the use of paper money is difficult in space so it is more likely to be digital currencies. * not be cryptos because of centralization *

Several attempts are underway to establish the first human colony on Mars. While technologically not impossible, funding for such a monumental project (estimated at 10-30 billion USD) is a major obstacle. If you share our dream of making that first giant step for mankind a reality, then we invite you to join us.

I do not think Mars has become a distant dream, let’s think further.
And this is a shitcoin.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Monitoring cypto movements larger than USD/EUR 1000 on: April 24, 2019, 07:31:33 AM
It depends on a country. For example for Venezuela it is a huge money. But considering that they are evaluating investments in USD and EUR they are talking about EU and US then it is a small amount of money.
For example  there is a huge amount of some usual goods and services in US cost over 1$k that you can pay for with cash. Banks can't trace your cash flow and no one really cares for what you are buying for this 1$k. So why should anyone care about crypto?
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The middle ground for all skeptics and enthusiasts on: April 24, 2019, 07:14:30 AM
The problem is that complete crypto sceptics doesn't need your middle ground.
Most of traditional investors, bankers and enterpreneurs are sceptical to crypto (they have all reasons to think so), they have their opinion and they are not using crypto. Right now cryptocurrencies are not popular and they have almost no influence on anything outside the crypto world so there is no sense for crypto sceptics to seek for any kind of middle ground. They don't need crypto in all cases.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan to Provide G20 With Solution for Crypto Regulation on: April 23, 2019, 07:33:15 PM
Wars? North Korea nuclear programme? Or maybe international relationships? What will leaders of the most powerful countries discuss? Do you really believe that the world's elite will gather in China, sit around the table and would start discussing cryptocurrencies? IMHO it sounds like bullshit.
Discussion related to a billion dollar market sounds crazy? You have got to be kidding with me. I know that there are far more important issues which you mentioned, but majority of the entire world recognized Bitcoin(Positive or negative) after the 2017 rally.

This is why this isn't a trivial issue at all, but I don't think one country can change the opinions of others unless there is some kind of huge incentive for them.
First of all those billions do not influence the world economy so that's probably not the most important thing that they should discuss.
Second is that politicians are taking part in G20 summits, not economists and not bankers. They are not competent to discuss economic details and they probably won't do it.

474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How huge is the job of the legislature in the improvement of Bitcoin? on: April 23, 2019, 04:41:19 PM
So as we see if the government would be crypto friendly and allow people and organizations use cryptocurrencies it still doesn't mean that they would use it.
It will push adoption in a positive direction though which is what we are all hoping for. Governments have a huge role to play in the cryptocurrency market(Whether they actually come around to using it or not) whether people like it or not.

Just observe how the market rallied when Japan openly accepted cryptocurrencies. That was the first huge rally of 2017 which led to the insane rally during Dec 2017.

Imagine that there are some people that don't use crypto simply because they don't need it. Then their government allows them to use crypto! And guess what? They won't start using crypto simply because they still don't need it.

It doesn't really tell us anything outside of context. For example we remember Bitcoin Futures on CME. Everyone in crypto was excited about it but unfortunately, BTC futures became extremely unpopular and would probably be delisted from the exchange soon. So as we see if the government would be crypto friendly and allow people and organizations use cryptocurrencies it still doesn't mean that they would use it.

At least it gives freedom for people to use crypto as they wish once the government is becoming more crypto friendly. I believe it will bring more adoption and the "Bitcoin Futures" on CME wont happen in the future.

Even now they are free to use crypto. No one is getting jailed for that. Crypto related services are working in countries, where cryptocurrencies are not mentioned in the law at all.

476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinfirm working with biggest bank in Poland on: April 23, 2019, 09:52:00 AM
The blockchain is experiencing lots of adoption by financial institutions lately and that is an indication that the banking system are now optioning into full digitalization in both documents and smart contract transactions model. The blockchain as a multiphasic technology will help the banking sector greatly and am glad banks are now beginning to take advantage of that.
And that doesn't meant that current crypto community will get any kind of benefit from that. Banks are trying to lower their expenses by using blockchain and I'm happy for them. But all their activities are not related with BTC or any other cryptocurrency that is currently traded on exchanges. Such news doesn't even tell us that those banks would accept Bitcoin or even become crypto friendly.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Craig Wright sues a podcaster for saying Craight Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto on: April 23, 2019, 09:40:16 AM
Marasmus is only getting stronger with time. Everyone is claiming that he is a real Satoshi in order to get some more place in media space and their arguments sound even more retarded each time.
Just imagine how that humble guy, that created Bitcoin and showed everyone the power of blockchain came back after long years of staying in the shadow and the first thing he is doing is throwing shit in everyone. Sounds legit!
478  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump security adviser unveils new U.S. sanctions to pressure Cuba, Venezuela on: April 23, 2019, 07:34:03 AM
I don't really care about those sanctions. I'm not buying anything from there and not willing to visit Venezuela.
In case with crypto it also won't have any impact. Venezuela is a country where people got 6.70$ monthly income and a huge inflation. I'm a humble BTC holder but even BTC stash is equal to a monthly income of some hundreds of venezuelans. Their satoshies got no income on the general picture.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed News: Mt. Gox Automatically Filing Creditors for Repayment on: April 23, 2019, 05:58:00 AM
1. Even if it is true it doesn't mean that everyone would get a decent repayment. When a court admits that some firm got bankrupt and this firm have to pay its debts during bankruptcy then you can find out that you are #9999999 in the list and even your grand sons would grow old before they get your repayment.
2. Everyone can type those words on his computer. This screenshot is not legit until we get any official comments about it.

For sure this is bad but it also seems like Christianity is slowly destroyed itself. In a modern millenial community you can be a muslim or even follow a pastafarian church and no one would blame you for that until you become such a supremasist scam like christian.
Even some of the main democrat opinion makers are trying to avoid the word "christian" when they have to say something about this tragedy.
