461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's last message on: April 26, 2024, 05:28:42 AM
Satoshi's last message before his disappearance was that he has 'moved on to other things'. Now my question is this, if actually Satoshi Nakamoto saw a good vision of what Bitcoin will turn out to be in the future, why then did he decided to move on to other things instead of focusing more on the Bitcoin project to make sure that he also took part in achieving the adoption of this digital currency?

To us, the adoption of bitcoin worldwide is a good thing however we do not know what Satoshi had in mind. We don’t know what was his goals were and if he thought that bitcoin being this big would come true and if he thought that that was a good thing.

Moving on to other things might mean a lot of things. There are other things in life he may feel required more of his focus and if he declares bitcoin an ending then so be it.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: World price tag on every product. on: April 26, 2024, 02:43:24 AM
A kilo/2lbs of rice can go up to $6 in the US, imagine that would be the price in Nigeria or India. Same for premium meat at 25$ at least for a kilo how would somebody in a poor country affrod to buy some?

You will not same a single soul, you're going do kill more people than the holodomor or the great leap forward.

Haha , if that price will be same as in Asia for sure no one will purchase rice then  Grin this is why there is a standard in each country because that is the amount that each can carry.

i don't know where did this comes from but for sure this is for those super power country and not for the 3rd world .

and also those super country will benefits from this because they can buy cheaper product from us but we need to buy expensively from them.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin season on: April 26, 2024, 02:11:33 AM
This is only speculation and not real fact, because cryptocurrency is volatile in nature and no one can predict right the price movement of these altcoins that have no proper information on their price movement. There are new coins and might not survive the market.
well speculation are mostly closest to what will happen but either way they are not constant means we must not rely on that from other peope
but instead do our own research  and understanding , our  money so we should work for it.

Quote
NO need to invest your funds on them so that you don't get burned out, but bitcoin have the potential and what it takes to last longer, and your profit will also increase if you can be patient and hodli for long. Altcoins are there to gamble, but with very little amount of money, and if you make profit good, if you get scammed, you just overlook it. Don't put your hope on altcoins.
lets not forget those hunters that is willing or eager to earn but cannot accept defeat, and those are the should lose investors
for them to dig deeper before putting their money inside.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beyond Wagering on: April 26, 2024, 01:30:00 AM

466  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bingo Plus Discussion on: April 25, 2024, 01:56:48 PM
@Baofeng Wala e napakadaling mag cash in sa kanila, imbis na i block dapat mga mga local wallet natin (Gcash Paymaya) E mukhanpa atang sponsored nila or supportado pa nila itong mga pasugalan na ito. Tsaka mga endorsement pa nito mga bigatin. Luis Manzano at Maine Mendoza impossibleng walang ma influence yang mga yan. Kahit ako magkaroon lang ng kaunting laman Gcash ko naiisip ko din agad mag cash in sa app na to. Bungad palang pag bukas mo ng gcash app puta ads agad ng Bingo Plus makikita mo e. Haha
bigtime pala talaga ang promoter ng game na to? pero bakit parang wala naman ako nakikitang ads nila sa gcash ko? anyway di din naman ako fan ng bingo instead mas trip ko pa nga kung tutuusin yong  Color gamen eh hehe.

467  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin high transaction fee blessings in disguised on: April 25, 2024, 01:48:49 PM

468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 25, 2024, 01:14:00 PM
This high fee is probably due to the 4th halving that was completed. I haven't seen this type of transaction fee this hight.

If you look at https://mempool.emzy.de/, the current transaction fee is  over $50 but in the past few hours it was over $100... So if you are a gambler who doesn't gamble that much like your range is only $10 to $100, it's impossible you will choose to gamble today with that very high fees.

This is only for gamblers who use bitcoin as the payment method, how is going today? Who among us here can still afford to gamble?
there are so small  chance that the fee will reduce anytime soon because it has been running now for almost a week now and yeah i even stopped withdrawing or transacting into the bitcoin network.
and indeed that I don't wanted to gamble nowadays as my reserved altcoins to gamble have been loss yesterday lol.
469  Other / Off-topic / Re: The future of transportation on: April 25, 2024, 12:59:41 PM
Electric car will be used as future transport.  It will be more safe and accurate.  This will make the transport system more efficient.  Electric cars will be more beautiful.  It can be driven very easily.
not just the electric but the design itself because like Tesla this is the future of transportation and I believe that sooner even in Air and water will be electric ? what if Elon are planning to provide us Tesla Plane and Ship version?
well this will be the most exciting part of technology now.
470  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gaming strategies on: April 25, 2024, 03:14:41 AM
The best strategy is to rent a movie and decide not to gamble. You're gonna save money in the long run and not be mad at the world because you lost. Any strat that people say is gonna win will eventually lose, so don't risk it.
Hahaha, that's funny but true because gambling will only let us lose money (small chance of earning) and you as I know a veteran gambler knows what's best to tell Yahoo, but aside from that what i do learn from years is that our attitude and behavior in gambling that will let us  either succeed or fail in gambling.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Receiving bitcoin donations through my website on: April 25, 2024, 01:50:45 AM
To STINKYBEE, that's definitely something I should look at. I didn't know that KYC exchanges were so transparent. That's kinda the opposite of privacy, eh? I'm thinking that maybe I can keep KYC donations in a separate wallet AWAY FROM my non-KYC donations. Thanks.
But can you give us at least a brief reason why you need to do that? are you into something to hide from the government? sorry because just now that i have heard this kind of stuff in which we are talking about donation here and for me we should be thankful to that donor no matter where they get the funds because you have received that in your wallet so if those are from crimes/hacking then you need to explain that to the authority no matter what.
472  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: April 24, 2024, 05:10:13 PM
So guys, is increase in minimum wage not a good measure to fight inflation. Let's have your opinion.

No not really because as the price of commodities rise due to inflation no matter how much money you earn its value would be close to nothing. I remember watching a video where in there is a country and the inflation is so bad that printed money literally have no purchasing power and some of them are weaved into handbags or rags.

So it’s not really the quantity we are looking for but rather the value instead.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: April 24, 2024, 02:41:23 PM
Reckless gambler risk more, and it does not matter if he is rich, poor. Gambling is very flexible. Everyone is able to place a bet with ridiculous odd. Ok, the rich gambler can make more bets, but I think that he and poor gambler will stick to more or less same odd range. People arent stupid. Both rich and poor not going to risk more or less for nothing.
Yup! No matter how rich or poor you are, if you are a reckless gambler or an addict, you'll get a chance to win or lose. Aside from everyone is able to place a bet, Everyone can be addicted into it, sometimes we will see a lot of poor gambler suffering in addiction and has an audacity to gamble and place larger bet more even if they don't have money to sustain their vices, Did you know why? because they can't control theirself even if they really want to get rid of it, they can't because the addiction flows to their mind down to their body and that's one thing that we need to prevent.
Both of you are right because when you can't hold yourself in gambling, you will lose your money and will not have a chance to wins as you wants. But you must realizes that wins in gambling is difficult and not many of gamblers can do that as gambling itself is not a way to make money. When rich or poor people can't hold themselves while playing gambling, they will not see they have a chance to win instead will lose their money. Many people already addicted to gambling but we must avoids it before it happens to us so we must improve our self control to avoids. If they already knows that they don't have good self control, they must not playing gambling too long or too often and will limits their money because that will helps them to save their money.
right and this is not about who is right or wrong instead who is addicted and who is not because that will save the one
and will damage the other , gambling is a luck base game and a super risky that only few percent become winner and
the majority is the loser.
How much are you willing to spend and how long are you willing to stay
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: April 24, 2024, 12:59:01 PM
In gambling greedy and scammers are rampant and this is why we must be always aware and try to choose more legit and trustworthy people to put on our money and bets because in the end we will suffer hardly like what happened here.
and the sad part is that the agent even creating story that there is already someone claims the winning? that is the stupidest thing he can deliver.

476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hal Finney wins award for his contribution to Bitcoin development! on: April 23, 2024, 04:19:00 PM
I am curious when reading this and want to know how HRF distribute this prize.
Did you mean how do they decide on the winner? I am pretty sure that alike many awarding system they have a criteria and a panel of judges if you will. Let us just hope those who will decide are credible and critical.

Since this is the first time the award is being given, we are still almost playing blindly here with not much information or expectations of what is about to come.

No surprise that they do a right thing by sending it (or planning to send it) to Hals' wife, Fran Finney, and it is also good to know the widow plans to donate it to a charity.

477  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you work toward hodling bitcoin? on: April 23, 2024, 01:00:31 PM
I have seen many people who sold their lands to purchased huge amount of BTC and hodl to recover the capital and still have some money to buy again which is the latest system many investors are using to grow their wealth these days in the community.

You need to understand that there are different kinds of investments and bitcoin is not the only profitable one out there. Even land is profitable. Real estate is really hot and valuable but it still depends on your country and location of course but selling it to buy bitcoin is quite stupid and reckless I might say.

You’re never going to be able to buy that land at the same price ever again. Even if you say that you are richer, the value still has gone up from the price you actually bought it from. You could have done a lot with unsold land.
478  Other / Off-topic / Re: Speaking of the great gods in the blockchain industry, who can you think of? on: April 23, 2024, 08:22:09 AM
The first thing that comes to my mind is Satoshi Nakamoto

He created something that would forever change the financial and technological landscape of the world and he disappears. It seems iconic to me lol.

But anyway seriously speaking, satoshi has done something a lot of people hadn’t thought of at his time and even until now after so many innovations no one really has come close to what satoshi has accomplished.
479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AI Trading on: April 23, 2024, 08:01:17 AM
He wants to use the opportunity to look for vulnerable people that he can easily scam and scam them if possible.
Scammers who know their way around people’s weaknesses are the worst. Knowing how volatile the market is and how desperate other people are to gain some profit, they will surely fall victim to these kinds of things. It’s an absolute shame to see someone obviously trying to scam people. Be careful, everyone! We are expecting a surge of hacks and scams especially we are currently in the bull run
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best SocialFi (legit, no scam) on: April 22, 2024, 11:53:52 PM
I am just wondering if there are any SocialFi projects available in 2024?
I have done some research and here are what I have found:
- Pulse: Merges social trading with blockchain, enabling users to share strategies and earn crypto.
- Friend.tech: Transforms social networking with monetized interactions via a unique social token.
- Open Campus: Innovates in education by monetizing content and engagement with blockchain technology.
- Lens Protocol: Decentralizes social media connections, allowing creators to own and monetize their interactions.
- Hooked Protocol: Integrates gaming with learning for financial rewards in a 'Learn2Earn' framework.
- Cheelee: Revolutionizes content interaction through token incentives, enhancing user engagement with gamified elements.

I don’t know if it is just me but SocialFi is quite a new concept for me. Maybe it’s why a lot are still starting and struggling to really build something functional and stable. I am aware of different kinds of projects in the altcoin section and it makes sense how people can put one and one together.

Since it’s new, it’s hard to find projects that are guaranteed legit and reliable.
