461  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: August 01, 2021, 03:04:31 PM
I will completely choose fiat currency for my salary. Fiat money has a stable value while bitcoin price is very volatile, the salary you get can go down or up suddenly. I don't want to risk my salary because it's my only source of income. therefore I prefer to be paid in fiat currency rather than being paid with bitcoin.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: August 01, 2021, 02:53:01 PM
Banks are centralized, and it is an area of government supervision. The cryptocurrency is decentralized, free from anyone's monitoring and restriction, and cannot provide guarantees like the National Bank in case of transaction errors.
Due to its volatility and unstable prices, cryptocurrencies are prone to economic losses for investors and are risky. The legal currency will not appreciate or depreciate sharply and is relatively stable.

Accepting crypto is of course very risky because of price fluctuations which are like a roller coaster, besides that banks must of course comply with state regulations to maintain fiat so that it is impossible to make crypto as a bank service product.

crypto doesn't have to be about bitcoin or ethereum, they can create their own crypto that is private and has a stable value. it is unlikely that they will adopt a digital currency that has a very high fluctuating value because it can cause a sudden decline and development of assets.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: What kind type of market player you are? on: July 31, 2021, 02:47:55 PM
I am the same as you, I am an investor who buys altcoins at very low prices. I bought an altcoin which I think its price could increase very high in the future. I'm not an investor with a large capital, so I don't think it's appropriate to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. The capital I use is purely from bounties and airdrops, and I also use the money for daily needs.
I am also like you, I am an investor too
My basic is programming and I work in a small IT company, I don't have much time to pay attention to market conditions or others

I once tried to be a trader but ended up being a speculator and panicked during a bear market
I am trying to change my perception to continue investing in Bitcoin and other potential altcoins for the long term and will not sell my crypto assets for necessities because I still have a salary at my offline job
A trader can be a speculator when he trades without using analysis. for busy people like you being a long-term investor is the most appropriate choice, especially if it's investing in large coins such as bitcoin or ethereum. but you have to have a fair amount of patience because bitcoin and ethereum have a bull market every few years.
464  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 31, 2021, 02:23:34 PM
For the rich, it is easier to hold Bitcoin for a long time. They use funds other than what they need to invest and obtain additional income.
For ordinary people, they need to consider the funds they need in life, and only invest in addition to the ability to meet their daily needs. In investing in Bitcoin, if funds are needed in an emergency, they must sell Bitcoin even if there is a loss.
That's right, that's why it's not recommended to use an emergency fund for bitcoin investments. for ordinary people like me collecting bitcoins from airdrop and bounties is the safest investment because it does not require large capital. investing in bitcoin is not the same as investing in general (land or gold) because the price of bitcoin has a very high fluctuating rate.
465  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19, Lockdown and repercussions on: July 28, 2021, 01:24:07 PM
I just stumbled upon this photo. You can easily notice that most European countries are doing relatively well, except for most Balkan countries, except Greece. Unfortunately, Russia, founder of the Sputnik vaccine, isn't doing so well.

Russian users have already explained this. There is a lot of hesitancy in Russia against the vaccine and they are probably the only country where there is an oversupply of the COVID vaccine. If I am not wrong, less than 20% have received at least one dose of the vaccine in Russia. On the other hand, countries like Argentina mostly rely on vaccines imported from Russia, and they have managed to achieve a vaccination rate of close to 50%. And the rates haven't improved in Russia, despite the recent spike in infections/deaths.
one of the barriers to vaccination is the amount of fake news circulating in the community. there is a lot of fake news deliberately created by irresponsible people so that people are afraid to receive vaccines. maybe this is what is happening in Russia right now, and of course it is also happening in many other countries.

467  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: July 25, 2021, 01:56:50 PM
It is impossible to completely eliminate poverty in the world. Everything should be balanced. Poverty and wealth should coexist. We can balance the economic, technological, and spiritual gaps and reduce poverty through study and hard work. Others will choose to give up because they are afraid of the risk of investment. Risky currencies like Bitcoin can often bring higher profits, and they miss the opportunity for wealth freedom.
yes it is true, like day and night or heaven and earth. The poor and rich will forever be on earth, but the problem here is how the government is able to provide assistance or reduce the burden of the poor. the government can provide capital assistance or provide basic necessities every month.

469  Economy / Economics / Re: What event could trigger new bull run and ATHs? on: July 24, 2021, 08:44:44 AM
Most of the price drop is also due to whales buying and many people selling at low prices, once the target is reached I think the price increase will start, because the good news about BTC is also weak. decide on that.
I don't think one whale will be able to create big waves in the ocean. there must be several whales jumping simultaneously for big waves to be created. So one whale won't cause big changes in the market. You can't go on and on and on telling those who are selling at low prices are causing prices to drop because they are also looking for the biggest profit when prices have gone up.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 24, 2021, 08:20:57 AM
Not yet. The whole world is equal to the dollar, and is used to the dollar and local currencies.
I have no idea what will happen if financial systems disappear leaving only cryptocurrency, how will we determine the value of certain things in cryptocurrency?
It will not happen. every country will definitely continue to maintain its fiat money because fiat money is one of the symbols of the country. another reason is because fiat money in a country is already known as the only legal tender and that will never change.
471  Economy / Economics / Re: Not just money but oil is most important in the World on: July 24, 2021, 08:11:09 AM
That's right, the most needed resource today is crude oil. dubai is one of the largest oil producers today and it is very influential for the people's economy. we can see that from the large projects that are often built in dubai and the vehicles that are mostly used by the people there. Whoever controls oil will rule the world.

473  Economy / Economics / Re: What's going on in China lately on: July 17, 2021, 05:32:25 AM
So far I haven't found an article that says that in China the Covid virus has hit again. maybe this is just an excuse given by the sender to cover up problems for shipping. Since this pandemic hit China has tightened and restricted goods that will enter or leave the country. take it easy, you will still receive what is your right.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: July 17, 2021, 04:16:52 AM
I am a young person who also invests in cryptocurrencies. I participate in the bounty and airdrop campaigns, then I will hold the altcoins I earned until I reach the target price. that's more or less how I seek to profit from cryptocurrency. I do not use capital, only rely on hard work and luck.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will Bitcoin go? on: July 16, 2021, 01:21:50 PM
With China banning Bitcoin miners and Elon Musk criticizing its high energy consumption, the market price of bitcoin will as low as 10k$ .Pls prepare for the worst ,There is a long-lasting bear market.
this kind of news will not have a big effect on bitcoin and bitcoin. no need to worry, this kind of news has hit bitcoin several times but bitcoin is still growing today. current market conditions are very difficult to predict, we will not know after this we will see mountains or ravines.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: July 15, 2021, 02:24:23 PM
I don't know... I don't really trust the vaccine. There are cases where people got sick after it. There have even been fatalities. So maybe this isn't the end of the pandemic. And it's just getting started.  Huh
You don't believe in vaccines it's your personal right, but vaccines are the only hope right now for this pandemic to pass quickly. I see a few bright spots regarding the end of this pandemic. Countries with the majority of the population have been vaccinated slowly returning to normal.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam Becomes Latest Country to Turn to Crypto on: July 14, 2021, 02:45:12 PM
This trend has had a positive impact on the Bitcoin market. The country went from banning Bitcoin to calling for the use of cryptocurrency, which is an endorsement of cryptocurrency.
As more users use cryptocurrency, people's demand for it will increase, and its liquidity will get better and better. The value of cryptocurrency will continue to rise in the future.
some people responded negatively because of the title of the thread.
although this is just a trial run by central banks aiming to introduce their own stable coin, but I think this is pretty good news for cryptocurrencies. I hope this will be done by other countries as well.

479  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke through 33,500 USDT on: July 11, 2021, 01:45:53 PM
Bitcoin price breaks that level time to time but we don't see it going forward for a long time. Recently, I've seen Bitcoin price climbing to $35.9k but haven't managed to go over $36k. It still looks like it won't change. If people start buying really much again, Bitcoin price can break the resistance levels easier.
it doesn't seem that easy. yesterday the bitcoin price went up drastically and reached the price of $64k and after that the bitcoin price fell drastically. Of course, investors will not rush to buy back because bitcoin is still experiencing a bear market.
480  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam Becomes Latest Country to Turn to Crypto on: July 11, 2021, 01:22:37 PM
Vietnam’s ban on Bitcoin to accept Bitcoin shows that Vietnam’s recognition of Bitcoin, and digital currency is a development trend. Bitcoin is decentralized, it is not controlled by any organization or state, and the government cannot interfere, bitcoin provides a better choice for the countries. In the future should be more and more regions accepting and using Bitcoin.
As far as I know Vietnam only prohibits bitcoin as a means of payment, but if it is only used for digital assets or investments there is no written prohibition. I think it's not only Vietnam that enforces these regulations, but also most of the countries that enforce those regulations.
