The number of users on the old version 0.7.2 and the new 2.0.0.0 is somewhat so par so you need to make sure you are add nodes that are running the latest wallet. If you are connected to mostly old version 2.0.0.0 and 0.7.2 peers, you will not advance. So far, it is somewhat jerky for my Mac wallet. We need all users to update.

Sorry FlyingMongoose, someone beat you to it but I'm sure it's been a great learning experience as this was your first mac wallet.
It is still not working on my mac OSX 10.9.3 , I installed the new wallet , even rebooted , but there is no real going beyond block 71999 ( of 78938 now ) , any ideas why it is not working ?I am trying out the new Mac wallet. It is syncing now. Hope it works for me. It seems that some nodes are stuck on 71999. We really need everyone to update their wallets to the latest version. I restarted the new wallet a few times without results in going further than the 71999 block , only after I unlocked it , the wallet went immediately to stake , even though being out of sync with the transaction history , I received unconfirmed & immature stakes and my complete balance moved entirely to Stake: — with 0.00 AC Balance available and all Asiacoins showing up under Stake: xxxxx . Wallet and Recent transactions are still out of sync . Initially , the synchronising process with the network , after unlocking , moved a few blocks ahead from 71999 to 72002 then 72003 before getting completely stuck again . I restarted the wallet a few times , unlocked again each time , but had no further results . It says catching up but all remains out of sync and my mined stakes are currently unconfirmed & remain immature ( needing over 50 blocks to become spendable ) , and the transaction history count is not moving beyond block 72003 ( of 80057 , right now ) . The mining transaction ids show no result on the ac blockchain explorer , so I guess they have not even been properly broadcasted by the wallet onto the chain yet . I have 12 active connections to the AC network . I know it's friday 13th but I'd really like my wallet work properly ; is there something one can do using the debugger , maybe a command … ? 12 connections is quite typical. Once you moved beyond 71999, you are already fine. It takes time to catch up with the blocks, I guess. |

I am not sure if I am seeing wrongly but AC deposits need 200 confirmations on Bter? yes, AC deposits need 200 confirmations on Bter, I have asked this issue to Biter, now 200 confirmations necessarily is it's policy, and takes more than 3 hours to deposit, OMG In that case, MintPal may be a better place to trade AsiaCoin. 200 confirmations for deposit is ridiculous. The AsiaCoin Foundation will contact Bter on this matter and request for a lower number of confirmations. 200 confirmations is not even comparable to other coins at all. |

One of our block explorers is now updated: http://chainz.cryptoid.info/ac/The wallet has synced and it shows my coins went through but cryptsy doesn't have them showing in my account, so now I am waiting for them to get back to me.
They never left you if they're not confirmed. You need to rescan the Blockchain (or redownload, depending on the broadcast level of your transaction). But you also need to wait until Crypsty has updated their wallets (you can push them in their trollbox/support to do it faster). Thanks but the transaction has confirmed so the issue is on cryptsy's end. They have been working on "locating" the coins since yesterday but have stayed in touch with me. Hope you get your coins back. Cryptsy is not the best exchange in my opinion. For AC, go with Bter or MintPal. |

I know you're reading this. Not going into how I know, but I do.
I get that you had issues with school and all that jazz, but we both know it doesn't take but 5 minutes to update the thread. The school excuse isn't going to work much longer, we're into June. Update this thread, please. I don't care how much progress is made, tell us about it. Tell us where you're at, what you're doing.

The devs are already selling off the concept and idea of Credits in Auctions section. I don't think they are going to post an update. CreditsTalk.org is down as well. Officially dead, I would say. Well maybe not. Maybe this is the chance for the community to take charge. As large holders of Cr it falls on us, does it not? What is it we need to continue the work? A developer, right? Someone who can do the poker site as well? We should start shopping it out. Or even better, someone new takes over the rig. That's what the offer is, right?? Someone to step in and take over the coin. That's why its Turnkey. I'd say replacing the Dev is exactly what this coin needs. It will be hard to market Credits in a scene that is crowded with new coins. I am helping out with the AsiaCoin Foundation. While I like the name of this crypto-currency, it will be way too much work to bring back Credits. It takes more than 1 developer to work on a coin. |

Yep, hotfix doesn't seem so hot, sync has stopped at 20160 blocks for 15 mins now and doesn't look like it wants to move on.
I'm getting a similar problem, syncing isn't going pass 20660 for me (27.73% done). On another note, the client version is still showing v2.0.0.0 for me. Are you sure you uploaded the hotfix v2.0.1.0? I think our developer did not update the versioning due to the haste to put out the update. We will do that for the next update. |

AsiaCoin originally had a POW phase of 2 weeks. Since then, it had been POS. Given that CoinPayments and AltAccept list AsiaCoin as an accepted crypto-currency, AsiaCoin is more stable than the half dozen altcoins that are launching on a daily basis with nothing but promises. We are looking into adding new features that are useful in driving AsiaCoin's adoption. We believe that having a feature that doesn't serve much use is something that is of lesser priority. |
