We had some major issues this week with the pool, some how on the 6-7. Jan worker2 stopped performing at full speed. Checking the chainmainer stats showed full speed, but on ghash.io only 1/4 was accounted for it ... I reset the raspberry and check some stuff but couldn't find anything. Then out of nowhere same happend yesterday to worker 1 .... just a simple restart made the pool again account full hash speed.

I already tried to get help .... but wasn't really successful

[19:25:22] <darkfriend77> some how one of my rigs drops on ghash.io to 100gh from 400gh ... even if it shows still 400gh on the bitfury interface
[19:29:55] <Dyaheon-> sounds like a problem with vardiff
[19:30:03] <Dyaheon-> using chainminer?
[19:30:08] <Dyaheon-> doesn't handle that well at all
[19:51:24] <darkfriend77> yep chainminer
[21:10:49] <le0> darkfriend: I'm having the same problem
[21:11:09] <le0> it's pretty odd because my rigs have been working fine for weeks now

465  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [GUIDE] BitFury Miner Support/Tuning on: January 06, 2014, 08:38:53 PM
I am looking for an alternative to chainminer and its proxy.
Whats software are best for BFSB hardware ?  BFGminer or CGMiner, other alternatives

Do CGMiner has been running stably Bitfury?
Is formed instruction on how to run CGminer on RasperryPi?

If you have BitFury boards, with a V1 or V2 controller, I've updated the driver in my git and it should work with either now.
https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer

I've tested it on BlackArrow hardware.
One V2 controller with 1 board, the other V2 controller with 6 boards: 3onSPI1, 2onSPI2, 1onSPI3.

Both work fine.

I, however, use Arch coz I find it more reliable on the RPi.

Getting cgminer on an RPi

tempting ... is it possible to clock each chip separately?

468  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group buy] Avalon chips Escrow John K / Please check refund list until Sunday on: January 02, 2014, 01:37:12 PM
Well, I can only write about my personal experience.

After a couple of PMs, asking what's happening and what's the plan regarding this order, I got no reply what so ever!!!

I don't know if Marto is offline but that's not a professional approach (since he decided to create a company).
I hope his near-future actions makes me change my opinion regarding his professionalism and ethics

Only thing to do is ... put in a bad trust ...

Ok, marto74 ... but why don't you just tell us the truth!

"There is no fee refund for the fucked up GB you did with avalon" ... even if you told us so!

I will be quiet and forget about it, but at least I would be assured that my impression about you and your business was right!

...
The big question is, when will darkfriend77 decide to terminate the machine ?   even my small share is returning 0.011 btc a week right now (not to be sniffed at if the btc prices raise into the $5 -$10K range)
...

We will continue ... a few months at least ... but after january we will switch to monthly payout ...

let's see how far it ... goes

There was some major downtime caused by a not communicated address change of the pool. The miners are now on the uk1.ghash.io address mining.

Diese Woche hatten wir eine grössere "Downtime" aufgrund eines Adressen wechsels des Pools, welcher unangekündigt vollzogen wurde. Wir hashen nun auf uk1.ghash.io.
