461  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: May 06, 2022, 10:58:35 PM
This with no shadow of doubt will only create problems for them Europeans, which of course its happening already. Russia still stands firmly despite all the sanctions imposed on her. It is indeed a huge necessity to the Western sides.
Russia is able to sustain for now but eventually, if EU countries will find a way to look for alternatives this will be the start for Russia to worry and of course they will move more aggressively because of this. I wonder what's the situation right now between Russia and Ukraine, but I hope they can settle this one as soon as possible because many are already affected by this. In my country we are still paying a huge gas cost as well, I guess we are all affected.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "NFTs are overrated, over valued and nothing but useless tech fetishism" on: May 06, 2022, 10:45:37 PM
Hype in cryptomarket is very common, I've been here for years now and every time there's a new in the market you can see the hype but with NFTs, it looks like a different scenario because of its utility though of course many NFTs are still useless and that's why they are not going to succeed on this market. The only huge hype that I've seen in NFT is about the art, but the other things are good for me. You have the option to ignore the hype of NFTs but for me, its worth to try.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto moving into world. Algo sponsor FIFA on: May 06, 2022, 10:28:55 PM
this is great news, the FIFA world cup is the biggest football event in the world with billions of spectators waiting for their favorite country to compete, this is the perfect step to encourage mass adoption of crypto, congratulations algorand on your successful collaboration with FIFA.

It is a good sign that Altcoins are beginning to make progress with adoption through sponsorship and partnership but I prefer if it is Bitcoin, If they don't tell through a short description that Algo is an altcoin, many shouldn't know that it is an Altcoin but once they hear bitcoin, it will send the right message to viewers.  Grin
Anything that will foster the use of cryptocurrency is a green light for all, we will be delighted one day if all continue to follow the same steps as Algo, we will go far just like the way Fanntom did with Fomula.
This sponsorship will surely bring good impact in cryptomarket, we are all waiting for the mass adoption and yes this could be a good start. I've heard a lot of sponsorship before though there are some news as well that some sports are banned from advertising any crypto related project, well that's a bad side but hopefully many sports will allows cryptocurrency and give a chance to market their platform in the world, this is a big one.
464  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: May 05, 2022, 11:24:09 PM
I'm sure yung mga nauna dito sa thread is naka kuha na ng ROI nila sa Axie Infinity, I myself is na acquire ko na yung ROI ko and I still have a small scholarship group. I hope lahat ng andito is nakasabay sa hype ng axie and hindi bumili nung kasagsagan nila.

Sobrang daming FUD ngayon about axie infinity and sky mavis pero I'm still believing na meron pa sila mapapatunayan in cryptospace in the future.

Ganun talaga, wala ata akong nakitang NFT game na walang FUD kahit yung mga free to play. Hahaha
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about CAKE? on: May 05, 2022, 11:21:08 PM
Do you think it will reach $20 this year?
That's possible because CAKE has been a great platform and still a good DEX, many are still into new tokens and CAKE is been a platform for them.
It's still worth it to hold some CAKE because this platform can offer a lot more options and when do grow more, you can expect new ATH to be made in the future.
Cryptocurrency is down right now, and if you are going to invest you can consider CAKE as one of your option.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 05, 2022, 10:51:34 PM
Invest money- This for me is the last stage in the cycle that creates more money for you to be able to get more money. More money betters ones opportunities.
Investments doesn't guarantee any return, its risky and you have to consider that before doing your investment.
Its just like putting up a business that you can't know either it will succeed or not so there's always a risk.
We should always have the plan, how to get the money, and how to invest it because if there's no plan you can't make it, so start with the very basic and be more consistent.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk, Mark Cuban Discuss Using Dogecoin to Solve Twitter Spam Problem ! on: May 05, 2022, 10:33:40 PM
Is Elon the new owner of DOGE as well? I wonder why I keep seeing a post like this where DOGE are being connected to Elon which I think is just a pure hype. If ever Elon really wants to use DOGE on twitter services, then that is a good thing but for sure DOGE will become more volatile and you can't expect everyone to win with DOGE since many will be trap again because of this over hype. Twitter problem can't be solve by DOGE, they should solve this internally.
468  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 04, 2022, 11:42:02 PM
Has anyone tried this new promotion from Roobet ?

I just got the email about this promo. With only 0.5$ bet, we have the chance to win $15,000 prize pool money.
Lets spin and win  Smiley

You see these kind of contsts on all sites (but than with other slot providers). For some a 0.5$ minimum base bet is low but that is too high for me, so I never participate in it.
Cool to see that they do it together with Betsoft, they have some cool games (i.e. Back to Venus or Miles Bellhouse and the Gears of Time).
There’s a cheaper options, you just need to wait for it since Roobet always have a promotions like this so you still have more chance to participate. $.5 per bet is also high for me since a small time gamble always want to play longer and that’s why many choose to bet on a smaller amount, its fun to try this game though.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's the ethereum killer ... on: May 04, 2022, 11:17:33 PM
in your opinion which blockchain could beat the Ethereum ... and why  Huh ?
Everyone is a threat especially the top coins but still there's no assurance that they can replace ETH on top and beside some blockchain are way better compare to ETH when it comes to the fees and the speed of transactions, its just that investors still love ETH and that's why it remains on the top price. ETH is still growing and competing with other network, I can still see ETH to lead the altcoins in the coming years, there's no total replacement yet.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Elon musk's buying of Twitter fueled by Jack Sweeney?? on: May 04, 2022, 10:25:44 PM
There's a dipper reason why Elon bought Twitter out of nowhere, and not is not because of a simple tweeter user most probably Elon is planning to do something big that could change the whole Twitter system. Let's just watch his next move, and he might introduce DOGE on this platform just like the expectation of many and see how the government regulation respond to this one. Elon is a big player, he's very powerful right now and can do everything he wants, let's hope that its for the best benefit of everybody.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 04, 2022, 10:11:28 PM
Cockfighting ruin the life of my friend so I totally agree on this to banned this kind of online gambling because it can ruin more lives if it continues.
We know in the Philippines they spend more time online, and that's why online Cockfighting becomes the trend over the past 2 years and even though the government collects a lot of money from this, they should still regulate this or stopped it totally. Hoping that no more minors will go into this kind of gambling, because its too risky for them.
472  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest "Easter & Spring" | $4950 Up for grabs! Ends April 25th on: May 03, 2022, 05:20:14 AM
Winners have been selected, please see below:

Also, this was one of the toughest art competitions to judge so far and unfortunately some entries had to be disqualified as there was a lack of mr. roo/roobet logo or something about roobet. I won't act like I'm some sort of art critic who knows best but making your own version of Mr. Roo and not adding the logo or something else makes it hard to link with roobet and moving forward we may have to be a bit mor strict on it. Either way, all of the artwork submitted in this contest was fantastic and I'm impressed by all of you!

Would like to tell management that, its very hard to do Micro Artworks like Pencil and Chalk carving.

Though it is possible to carve figures, faces, and micro themes on it, its next to impossible to carve a name on it. That is why in my art type its not viable to imprint the name of "Roobet" or "logo" on the art material itself (i.e. Pencil and Chalk). The whole art itself is sitting on 1 to 3 mm area!! Still had it printed within the frame.

Hope Juri's will understand the challenges and consider facts like this!

Thank you.
The team did acknowledged your work, and even choose you to win TWICE on the last art contest so I don’t see any problem here and they can really change the rules any time they want, so chill because you can’t always win and this is a competition anyway so let’s just accept the result.

If you think that pencil art is not ok anymore, then try something else.
Let’s just be happy for all the winners and of course try our best next time.

474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi Lender Rari Capital hacked Offers $10M Bounty to Hacker on: May 01, 2022, 11:57:59 PM
Too bad. These hacks are getting too frequent these days. I'm even afraid of using these protocols. By the way, I don't think the hacker would agree to take only 10 million dollars were of tokens if he has access to much more. Quite debatable
Its very rare to see a deal like this with the hacker, its like tolerating their bad intentions instead of making the platform more safe and ask for a legal teams to find those hackers. We’ve seen many recoveries already from the hackers but its because the team works hard to locate the funds just like on Axie with a help of Binance.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitoin prediction - 1 Million dollar by 2025 (Expert) on: May 01, 2022, 11:13:40 PM
Rule out that, it is not expected that Bitcoin will reach 1 million dollars in 2025 only, I may expect that this can happen 10-20 years from now, but in only three years, I see that it is difficult to verify with the current situation of the market!!! These predictions that you put in the picture, I think are the opinions of people who love Bitcoin and wish to reach that number, but they are not necessarily the opinions of people who are experts in technical analysis!!!
Many are hyping Bitcoin that much and expecting that it can reach a huge price pump in just a short period of time, I agree on this and if we really want to see Bitcoin on this price level, then we should wait longer and expect nothing because we might not be able to reach that. BTC is good, but we should be more realistic and imagine its price right now, its still below a $50k price so expecting a huge pump is too impossible. I see Bitcoin on the price of $100k in the next five years, this is more realistic for me.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia suspends gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria for failing to pay in rouble on: May 01, 2022, 11:03:46 PM
I was expecting to see some European countries do not accept paying the gas price in the rouble to Russia, however doing this will bring many problems for them and they will have issues with supplying gas for their people, by doing so the gas price in Poland Bulgaria and raise and this will make people unhappy also their government should start seeking for a new gas supplier to replace Russia and this will be a pain because finding another gas supplier can a problem but if you are forced for it this will be even harder, but still doing this can be a great a step forward for the rest of European countries.

Most countries have not paid in pieces of paper with the name "ruble", and will not pay. In addition to the Kremlin "litters" such as Hungary, not a single normal consumer paid attention to the tantrums of the Kremlin Fuhrer, and they continue to pay according to the terms of the contract. Let's create a list of countries here who pays in EURO and who pays in Rubles? And compare the balance? Don't you want? Smiley
Russia stands to his threat and starts not to supply the gas for not paying in Ruble, those countries took the risk as well and now facing the problem same thing with Russia. If you have the gas supply, you can really hold it especially if they didn’t meet your terms. I don’t know how long Russia can handle this but EU countries are also suffering because of this, this is a domino effect.
They can't totally do this because some of their allies will be affected as well and as you can see, Russia still want to supply gas but it will be based on their own terms which EU totally disagree. The loser here will be Russia most probably since they are not the only supplier and I'm sure EU have their back up plans with regards to this one. They can't escaped many sanctions, soon they will experience the big effect of these sanctions, I just hope they didn't commit any war crime against the world.
477  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Beware: Hackers are everywhere! on: May 01, 2022, 10:49:15 PM
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: May 01, 2022, 10:38:20 PM
Based on my own experience this is what i do commonly use.
1. Support and Resistance
2. Trend Lines
3. MA
4. RSI
5. Sticks on hour timeframes and finding out some bias.

This is actually basing on your own preference on what suits you on.
This can be a good indicators to use every time you trade, it compliments the other indicators and you can get more effective result if you do follow these indicators. I've been using a lot of indicators lately because the market is not moving that much and its hard to get the correct data if you are just going to base on a single tool. Knowing the best indicators to use is a must, you should focus on that and learn how to create a good strategy using that indicators.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentinian Government Ready to Take Advantage of Crypto Holder on: May 01, 2022, 10:31:32 PM
We can't blame the government. The major focus of any country is to generate money from its people. How is this possible, levy tax over the people. Atleast Argentinian government is making plans for the taxation. However this can't be made immediately, so the focus is good with short term changes. Already India have put 30% tax which is very big and limit people from using it.
Exactly, Argentina is also a tax dependent and they can't survive without this especially the economic situation that they are into right now. They still need to create a law for this one, this is not easy to execute but expect that they are slowly getting there and taxing your profit in crypto is really possible. Argentinian should look for alternatives, most probably there's still a way for them not to pay huge taxes, they just need to understand the new law.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: May 01, 2022, 10:10:45 PM
The standing is only up to 10 in your source I'm sure my country cannot be in the top 10 if it's Gaming Losses Per Adult only even compulsive gamblers in our country will not bet hundreds of dollars majority of us here are small-time gamblers because only rich people can go to the casinos and play and even if there are already online casinos now, the number is not that huge to be in the top 10 but our country tolerates casinos and online casinos operations.
The article is not updated as well, for sure there's a lot of changes on this especially some countries on the list have their new restrictions with regards to gambling. I didn't see my country on the list since its a small country but we are active in gambling as well since the government even support a new online gambling, the online gambling are more active in my country and maybe there is not data yet for this.
