Yes it seems the Facebook page of WiC has been removed. This sometimes happen when Facebook thinks you are sending out SPAM. It will probably pop-up back soon. What you do when fb do not unlock your fb page?

Let's say I want to set up a Wi-Fi spot and have guests pay WiC per x amount of data. Does WiC provide a system for that? Or is it up to the Wi-Fi owners to develop a system that automates the process of the measuring data usage, managing the passwords and processing the payments?
Hey, at the moment the WiFi user pays a one time fee for the network but we plan to introduce a feature where the uploader will specify a minimum and maximum time and data limit for the connection and the buyer will be able to see this before purchasing. |

The rating system will be pretty important since there will be quite some bad connections. I hope there will be auto elimination or at least harsh campaign against poor rated WiFi spots.
Yep agree that people will try to misused it and something like auto elimination based on poor rating sounds really cool. It will depend entirely on the buyer to chose the WiFi provider he would like to pay according to his ratings. Maybe someone would want to take a chance with a low rated provider for offering a lower price. We do not plan to interfere in the free market and want to keep it open. |

I really like that I see changes are made and ideas and remarks of the former investors are included and worked out. Later we will introduce an update so that the owner could set the price in USD and it will be automatically displayed in the equivalent WiC. Will there be a minimum and a maximum price ? Or do you think the market will find a " correct price" alone ? The price will be determined by market forces. We will not set any restrictions or influence it in anyway |

Assuming the ETH price is 300$, and the price of WiCoin at the start is 0.008$ you may get approximately 37500 coins. I dont know whether this is correct or not as the site displaying price in Dollars. The price for the tokens is in USD, starting at $0.008/WiC. When you fill the presale form you fill the amount you would like to contribute in USD. Suppose you choose to contribute $300 and the price per ETH is $300, you will pay 1 ETH and receive 37,500 WiCYou will receive WiC as per the formula: Your Contribution/WiC Rate which in the example above is 300/0.008 = 37,500 WiC Let me know if you would require further clarification |

Remembering my vacations trips in other countries with an abundance of Wi-Fi spots, yet unable to have a reliable connection if I could connect at all, I just realized what a herculean task you have before you to bring this tech out in the real, but technically lagging, world. It's a good thing you have assigned 50% to marketing. As to not make the subject more difficult, it would be best in your communication with potential Wi-Fi providers not to dwell on the technical implementation, especially the part about crypto. Plug 'n' play! In the whitepaper you say WiC is the only accepted currency, but would it be possible for Wi-Fi providers to receive fees in fiat money directly rather than tokens? I think that would increase the adoption rate.
