461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 01, 2019, 11:32:15 PM
If Senator Manny Pacquiao will go for Errol Spence I guess it’s going to be one sided again, all rounds will be on Manny Pacquaio. After watching the last fight Errol Spence, I am not that convinced on how people described him as a fighter, I’m thinking that praises to Errol is nothing but a hype.

I would love it if Senator Manny will chose Danny Garcia on his next fight.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems to be going up rapidly this morning on: October 01, 2019, 11:23:04 PM
Price of Bitcoin recovering after a few days of nothing but price dropping is not new. I would be more surprise if the trend continues like in the span of 4 weeks the price did not recover even for at least 3% to 5%. But saying Bitcoin is going up “rapidly” that’s an overstatement I guess. It’s not something new.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Guaranteed Winnings In Sports Betting ! Make Tons Of Cash $$$ Betting Online on: September 30, 2019, 11:54:51 PM
Reading the entire post makes me cringe. I don't know how you cant make a mistake in sports betting unless you are Marty Mcfly. All I can see is the word scam written all over it. The way the word "guaranteed" was used gives you already a hint that this is to going to work and the only person who will get tons of money and will get rich is the OP of this thread and that's "guaranteed".
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading crypto independently considered a business? on: September 30, 2019, 11:46:39 PM
Is trading crypto on your own with no employees and no storefront categorized as a real business?

If you profit $300 per year from this stuff, is that considered a business?

How about profiting $3,000 per year?

Or profiting $30,000 per year?

Where does trading online take on all of the aspects of being a legitimate and identifiable business?
No its not, because you don't have a product to sell or exchange. You can't add personal profits and make sell it. You don't have the power to control the price. Even if you take investments from others, create a pool and trade yourself, I don't think you can consider that as a business unless you have it registered as an investment company then you have a business.

I found this information in Bittrex official twitter account.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: September 26, 2019, 11:56:03 PM
Wow this post is from 2017, who bought Bnb then made some nice income by now! What was Bnb ico price?
That was "1 BNB = 0.1 USD". according to https://icorating.com/ico/binance-bnb/
It means people have already profited a lot if they didn't sell until now because BNB were able to achieve a new ATH this year and could possibly surpass that by the end of the year if the altcoins rally will take place.
...and its still a good time to buy BNB specially now that the price dropped because of the market situation. BNB is one of the well managed crypto company today and they are still growing, they continue to expand and reach more traders. So if you plan to expand your portfolio, don't forget to include BNB in your list.

I also got this message from Bittrex that my account is now enabled to earn Bittrex credits when I trade. Is this for all Bittrex users? Is it for selected Bittrex users or there's a qualification for those who will get this function or feature in Bittrex. It looks like Bittrex is trying to compete with Binance and other top cryto exchanges. I also received an invitation that I only noticed today when I opened my email connected to my Bittrex account.

468  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com 🔥 CASHBACK 🌟 NEW LEVELS 🌟 NEW RANKS🌟 CHEST PRIZES OF $35,000 💰 on: September 26, 2019, 11:16:25 PM
Damn. I am always too late for those promotions. Congrats to the winners.maybe they can mail the users more about promotions
If you don't like to log in your Bitsler account or in the Bitsler forum or even check here in Bitcointalk for the announcements for new promotions or contests, you can create a google alert where all you need to do is create a search string and create the alert within your gmail account and just wait in your email, they will send you an alert if anything is posted in the internet about Bitslers new promotion.

Example of gmail alert search string that I use is Bitsler+new+promotion+2019 and select "as it happens" so that anytime a new post is created,  you will be alerted.
469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fiat-to-crypto: is it safe? on: September 26, 2019, 11:00:56 PM
Hey everyone. I'm new to crypto and I wanted to ask if there's a point of buying crypto with a credit card.
I found a lot of exchanges where users can easily (as they say) buy cryptocurrencies with their bank card. I mean, at binance they request like a lot of data about me, including my phone number or date of birth.
Aren't they selling my private info (that would explain 0,25$ fee on changelly for example), and doesn't that conflicts with the statement about my anonymity?

That would be fair for every fiat-to-crypto exchange, so my question is: do you use it and is it really safe?
Most of the top cypto exchanges started to update their data base or ask you to provide them with the information about yourself. KYC nowadays is something that we crypto users and traders will I guess need to accept that it is happening. If I trade stocks before I trade they will also ask for a lot of information about me but compared to the possible earnings that I would get from trading crypto, I am willing to give them my information as long as I am giving it to a reputable exchanger and not to those new ones that has a low feedback and review.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get the best at this moment? on: September 26, 2019, 10:43:19 PM
I don't worry that much about the price of Bitcoin because when I bought Bitcoins this year it was still at $3,500 level which was last February 2019. At this point I am still enjoying 130% profits and its not bad. If I have idle funds, I would buy more at this level and fill my bags with more Bitcoins. The forecast of others that Bitcoins will reach 20k this year stands.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Emotions; while betting, will you risk losing your fund to back your club? on: September 26, 2019, 10:22:00 PM
Don't know how to put this but I'll try. So lets say your fav club is about playing against a tougher club which on paper they're far better than your club but in your inner most mind you want your club to win therefore, when it comes to placing a bet, which club will you go far. Will you risk losing the bet to back your team winning that match, when you know the chances of them succeeding are almost impossible but since it's football anything is possible or will you bet against you club winning that match but while the match is ongoing you'll be routing for your club to win (in other words routing for yourself to lose your bet)?

How do you balance the emotion of wanting your club to win but not ready to lose your bet in the toughest of games.
Supporting your favorite team helps the boost the confidence level of the team and this might help them give their best to play and win. That is why even an underdog team goes against a highly favorite team to win the match, if the game will be played in their home town, that's a different story for the favorite team because they are playing against the crowd. Imagine the distractions the crowd will give to the visitors. furthermore, if you are a die hard fan, no matter what happens to your club, you will stick with them and will not join the band wagon team.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 26, 2019, 10:01:12 PM
Not sure if this is counted but remember when Manny Pacquiao fought Thurman last July this year? He was the underdog and placing a bet under Manny Pacquiao would be going against the majority but this case was a bit different because if you bet on Manny Pacquiao 3 tp 4 weeks before the event, he was the underdog but a week before the fight, tables turned and he became the favorite to win the match against Thurman.
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2019, 09:41:45 PM
Its a very rare occasion that Bitcoin price drops at 21% in less than a week. Usually its just 5% to 10% so this current trend is something that we can take advantage at this moment. Bitcoin to hit $7,500 would be very unlikely but its Bitcoin, its unpredictable. It was only last June this year we have seen Bitcoin at $8,060. Buy now? Why not if you have idle funds, we may see Bitcoin at $8,000 level again after 3 or 5 months after the price started to recover.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regret In Changing A Bet Have You Experienced on: September 26, 2019, 09:21:25 PM
This really happens to my friend in a horse racing, he is making a good run of winning he was in a winner take all bet and he needs to only win one, before he buys a ticket a winner take all-ticket, he has doubt on his bet on the 7th race because he is not the main favorite, he opted  for the favorite of race 7

He wins bet on all the 6 races  and he just needs one win and he is confident that the horse who he picks for a replacement on the horse he first bet to win the race, in the end, he loses the big jackpot in the 7th race because the horse that comes out the winner happens to be the horse he replaced with the favorite, he loses $3000 jackpot because of that.

He had a hard time moving on with that experience.
Not really changing a bet but the bet should have been placed earlier than planned. This was the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Thurman which happened only last July 20 this year. Why did I regret in not placing the bet earlier? Manny Pacquiao was the underdog when the odds was first released and on the last few days before the event, Manny Pacquiao became the heavy favorite and he won.

Another is the MMA fight between Adesanya and Anderson Silva at UFC 234 last February, Adesanya won the fight but before I hit the submit button to place my bet for Adesanya, I changed my mind and bet on Anderson Silva.

476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: September 26, 2019, 09:03:43 AM
Would you consider someone working in a POGO (Philippine offshore gaming operator) type of business as living out from Gambling? They are the ones who take bets online and recently there's a lot of Chinese citizen going to the Philippines to work in a BPO type set up.

How about those who collects bets for the illegal numbers game? In the morning I see this guy in a bicycle roaming around the city and will collect bets for the illegal numbers game and in the afternoon he will return with the winnings if someone wins.
477  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: September 26, 2019, 08:58:24 AM

Another coin will be listed in this exchange site. Token will be Tether CNH (CNHT). Wallet will be open with trading will start within the day. I got this update from their official Twitter account.  Markets available for CNHT will be the following CNHT-BTC, CNHT-ETH, USD-CNHT and USDT-CNHT. Nice, after EURT now there's CNHT.
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: September 25, 2019, 11:58:58 PM
Ive been trading for the past 3 years and believe me there are days when I cant trade even when I want to because of the market situation. If the trend is going down, why would you risk your money in trading? Thats already a clue for you to hold on to what you have for the mean time and wait for the market to recover. Thats why I believe day trading cant replace your day job.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now Available in 6,000 Outlets all over Philippines on: September 25, 2019, 11:48:52 PM
Aside from this Cliq machine where we can buy Bitcoins, we can also buy Bitcoins in Shell Select gas stations and Mini Stop where there's a kiosk that works just like Cliq where you can add funds to your Coins.ph account. Shell Select is a convenience store within the Shell Gas station, its open when the gas station is open and Mini Stop is also a convenience store that is open 24/7.
