462  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Freedom of speech soon to become a mirage. Will Bitcoin still be here by 2030? on: November 05, 2022, 10:05:56 AM
CBDC's are coming. Sunak is a strong supporter of digital currencies, and he might well be the first country leader to institute central banks regulated digital currencies in Europe. This is soon to be happening and our freedom will become extremely blurry and eventually fade away... Cointelegraph posted an interesting article about it!
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of the Roulette Game on: November 05, 2022, 09:58:51 AM
The Roulette game is one of the most popular casino games ever. It can be found in almost every casino around the 7 corners of the earth.

The game was actually invented in the 17th Century by the famous French mathematician Blaise Pascal.
Of course, nowadays the game is very different from the early one that did not have the number 0.
You can read more about it here.

Yes, Blaise Pascal was a great scientist and philosopher!

In addition to roulette, he invented a calculator, that is, a prototype of a personal computer.  In addition, he formulated many provisions of the mathematical theory of probability.  He and his friends (the royal musketeers) loved to play dice and other games of chance.

And since he was a great mathematician, he studied the probabilities of certain outcomes of gambling, thereby formulating the provisions of the mathematical theory of probability.

Yeah, it looks like Pascal loved to gamble and never missed the chance to play with his friends. In fact, this was about why he actually created the roulette game. He is also one of the most important figures in the history of scientific development as he developed a lot of concepts that are still used today in the designing of heavy machinery. He was also one of the most fierce defenders of the Scientific Method approach to which he wrote several essays.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / The History of Blackjack on: November 05, 2022, 09:35:48 AM
Blackjack is one of the most prominent games that can be found in every casino anywhere. It is one of the games where I have been able to make a lot of money.

There are those who believe that Blackjack was invented by the Romans, but the majority agree that it was invented in France at the beginning of the 18th century. It was called "Vingt-et-Un" which is French for "Twenty-one"

The story goes that Blackjack has its origins in a game that was very popular among the French royal class, the Chemin the Fer. It was later brought by immigrants to the Americas and turned into what we know today.
465  Other / Politics & Society / Sunak may well become the first to introduce a CBDC in Europe on: November 04, 2022, 08:43:19 PM
Richie Sunak is the newest UK PM. Owner of enormous wealth, his father-in-law is the founder and owner of Infosys, one of the Satellite companies of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Sunak is also known to be a crypto believer, however, the WEF's influence over its actions makes me believe he will be the first country leader to implement a CBDC. Call me mad, but I do have strong suspicions this will happen.

Russel Brand, today posted a video about this; so you should give it a look and then comment with your thoughts.
466  Other / Politics & Society / Freedom of speech soon to become a mirage. Will Bitcoin still be here by 2030? on: November 04, 2022, 08:14:56 PM
This is being planned. Yes, guys. They are planning our future without our consent. While "A french secretary of state just explicitly said on a french news channel that they are looking for ways to report fellow citizens for belief in conspiracy theories", the WEF is working to implement a Global Social credit scoring system along with their Digital Identity imposition and their Smart Cities Governance scheme (which btw, they say it is to protect citizens). They hope to have this all playing out by 2030. Looks pretty scary to me...

"You will own nothing and you will be happy"

And what are you going to do about it?

Will Bitcoin be a way to escape the Great Reset or will it perish?
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of the Roulette Game on: November 04, 2022, 08:04:13 PM
Roulette has always been one of my favorite games at the casino.  It's easy to play / understand, happens quickly (games last like 3-4 minutes or so on average) and it's just fund to me for some reason.

Have you guys ever seen the Jacob & Co roulette watch?  If not, watch this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3xAhyHLvHU ).  This watch is absolutely insane!  I think it's like a couple hundred thousand dollars too which is nuts, but if I were super rich I'd probably buy one of these.

It's impressive how rich people spend their money. While a big part of the world grows hungry rich people are getting richer while poor people's living conditions are going through the drain. For the price of this gadget, you could feed a lot of people... Ok, so, everyone is free to decide where they spend their money, but rich people should have more Social Responsibility and should be the ones finding solutions to stop poverty. Instead, rich people don't mind if people are growing hungry and just want to know about profit...

Dude, the whole post smells fishy enough to pull people away. If you are as good as you say, you should first provide some proof that you are what you say you are. So, you should first create a post where you hand out some tips and then we can check if you got it right. That is about the only way you can get people to trust you...
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: November 04, 2022, 08:27:49 AM
that is always what I tell everyone. one Bitcoin will always be one Bitcoin. thta is to basically say that if you haven't bougth into Bitcoin, you are already losing. while one bitcoin will always be one Bitcoin, its sheer value will always increase, so it is better to have bitcoin than to have money in the Bank!
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 03, 2022, 11:57:43 PM
Someone with a strict budget of gambling with $10, decides to start online gambling after been told by a friend, but on signing up discovers that the minimum deposit accepted is above the amount budgetted for gambling. Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts? If yes, and that perhaps is a reason behind many other online casinos keeping their minimum deposits as low as $1, Could low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble? Does minimum withdrawal encourage players to try again and keep gambling if they don't win up to the minimum withdrawal?

Having low minimum deposit entries and low minimum withdrawal amounts could be a good strategy for players to keep coming back to the casino IMO. Casinos rely on players that do not know when to stop gambling and end up losing to have a profit, so minimum deposit entries would encourage losing players to keep coming back. On the other hand, casinos can also have minimum withdrawal amounts and still charge a fee for withdrawal. This way, they can also find a way to discourage withdrawals while also taking some profit out of it.

472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: November 03, 2022, 09:03:28 PM
You know how casinos have set certain slots to only pay a certain amount to a winner, it it also possible that casinos are using an algorithm to limit how much it can payout for players coming from certain locations to avoid being dragged into legal disputes if a player is paid big money and the local authorities want to know the source and the alike?

I don't think Casinos make a distinction when it comes to prizes in relation to locations or specific regions. They basically do not operate in countries that do not allow gambling. They mainly follow the rules and only operate where the regulation favours them. What can sometimes happen is that some casinos operate in certain countries where there is a specific regulation and users in the country can only play with users in the same country, so in those cases, they may have different winning prizes. Even so, that happens because the market is a low size one and the prizes are played out accordingly.

Everything in this world does not happen by itself, there must be a creator. My deepest gratitude goes to Satoshi Nakamoto as the creator of Bitcoin and the biggest initiator behind Bitcoin's incredible achievements.

There's something interesting for me to know from you about the Bitcoin journey. There are many stories that happened in Bitcoin's journey before it was famous as it is today that I know from search results on the internet, ranging from being underestimated to having no price.

Anyone reading, please share what you've learned while getting to know Bitcoin. What is your reason behind Bitcoin's survival to this day and how do you thank Bitcoin. Finally, making something is very easy but maintaining it is very difficult.

Let's share your experience as a form of support and love for Bitcoin.
Get ready for Bitcoin's birthday.

Bitcoin was a gift to the world! Bitcoin was developed as a tool for free people who understood that they needed to somehow get away from the current economic model and the influence of banks. For the first time in humankind history, we had the option to become our own banks and use our money as we want without the fear of having the state bolcking our money. Nakamoto is a true hero.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Apple Pauses Gambling Ads in App Store Pages After Developers Complain on: November 02, 2022, 11:08:52 PM
Apple has its own monopoly so it can do whatever it wants. I actually do not understand why people give such importance to apple devices. Sure, ok, they have some cool features, but I wouldn't want a device that is constantly pulling me to update the software while constantly trying to sell you space for you to have your data. And even worst, Apple has some shady desire to control its user's information, so wouldn't be surprised they also made money out of it
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 02, 2022, 11:03:49 PM
They are pretty much the same if you do not know how to get out at the right time. However, I would say that Sportsbetting has the upper hand as you do not need to gamble against the gambling operator, so if you understand a little bit about the sports you will be betting on you increase your chances of winning.

In any case, the best is Sports bet trading as it essentially lets you trade the odds as if it was assets allowing you to imply known trading techniques and potentially increase your winnings

477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin a forgotten cryptocurrency? on: November 02, 2022, 07:28:37 PM
Don't think that Litecoin is a forgotten coin at all. In fact, I guess it is about one of the few coins that will still soar a lot. We need to consider that Litecoin was the second cryptocurrency ever to be developed. It's an heir of the Bitcoin technology and it offers faster transactions at lower fees with the same sort of security that Bitcoin does. When I need to transact with cryptos I always go for Litecoin. I'm still buying it today as I'm certain it will still give me 10x profits
478  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: utorrent, netflix e as redes P2P no nosso cotidiano on: November 02, 2022, 07:22:08 PM
