I've asked MobileGo and even if you add it to their store they will only allow the use of GAME or MobileGo tokens.
So BCY won't work on there either. Sadly.

It's actually between 1000-5000 on the Play Store alone, not sure about iOS so should definitely be over 1000 between the two.

BoO is a mobile app only available on mobile. Not sure if there are plans for a desktop version.

You mean your 12 word passphrase for the same address you use for your SoG account doesn't load on Book of Orbs?
May be a temporary issue. I'd try uninstalling the app (after you save your current BoO 12 word passphrase) and try afresh.

Markets are always erratic especially when Bitcoin goes up in value like recently. Add quite a bit of manipulation by speculators and whales and that's what you get.
So long as Spells of Genesis gets more new users over time I'm confident things can only get better. The game has just launched, it has some great reviews in the App Stores so I hope the trend continues.
We have also seen quite a few new faces appearing on this thread which I consider positive.

Can't compare Bitcrystals performance to Ethereum or Dash or other projects as it's linked to a game and its success.
Nevertheless, the team is also working on Project Orb (Book of Orbs) in partnership with IndieSquare and as per the latest video update there are some more exciting features coming in the next weeks and months as well as a platform which includes a SDK for other game developers to use which according to the CEO should help drive demand for BCY too.

Certainly tweeting about it and showing the game to friends who are into this type of gameplay and trading cards can only help.

I don't think selling in-game assets for cryptocurrency is possible yet at least by using in-app purchases. Google and Apple take a 30% cut from all sales it's in their interest to prevent that.

If the game doesn't use in-app purchases they may get around it, like you said rewards for the game you mentioned. Same for BoO they don't use in-app purchases but the Counterparty DEX to match orders.

Agree that BoO is the best place to get yer cards with BCY

The cards in the store you see in the game are not blockchain cards they are free in-game cards.
Blockchain cards are sold directly by the team on Swapbots or by third parties in the Book of Orbs Android and iOS apps.
But, eventually you will be able to turn them into blockchain cards (by quad-fusing them) in the near future when the functionality is implemented in the game. It's in the roadmap

In-game tokens are 3: Gold, Crystals, and Gems:

- Gold: you earn it by playing and completing levels/tasks/achievements, allows you to purchase cards in the in-game store.
- Crystals: you earn them by crystallizing cards you get in-game and for completing certain tasks/achievements, allow you to level up cards and fuse them.
- Gems: you get them by purchasing them in the game store, allow you to refill your stamina when it's low.

BCY cannot be used in-game yet I believe because of restrictions from Google and Apple stores where you can't sell assets outside their system.
However they can be used outside the game as mentioned above.

The best way to sell divisible cards without worrying about people buying a fraction only is sell P2P (but there could be trust issues) or to use Tokenly Swapbots, I believe it costs $5 a month for the service.

This way people buys from the bot and get the full card only.

Slowness is due to Bitcoin transaction fees, if you pay a higher fee (and you can set it in Book of Orbs) transactions should be reasonably quick.

In the past it has been implemented as "asynchronous" multiplayer.
The app will select a set of 4 cards from another SoG player and you will play a level against that, it showed the username too.

Not sure what the next multiplayer release will be like, we should wait and see.
