Either someone cheating that has more than 1 airdrop account (considering no one has been airdropped more than 7500), or a miner selling all his coins. Been a lot of heavy dumping for a week now, and not really anyone buying it back. --ypsi Thats is what we all wanne know? If it is a cheater with multiple accounts, can they freeze his walletpr something? Unfortunately not, this will blow over and we will rebound, when something is free there is always an opportunity to exploit the goodwill. |

Whatever coin comes to existence, it will never ever replace bitcoins.
Even if it has better features, btc will remain the leader as it's what came first and what people actually care about.
All other altcoins don't have any usage in real life. They are only traded against bitcoins for profits.
I still can't understand what kinda "features" you're talking about ? Btc already has all that it needs. If there are some issues, they may can be solved by applying improvements by the devs.

Nokia failed because they were too adamant to change their system through which they got dominancy and iPhone/Samsung tapped into it and it was a bit too late for Nokia to realize/act upon it, fruitless. Do you know what was there before mobile phone? Telephone, Graham Bell. And in this context, bitcoin ain't iPhone, Samsung, or Nokia, it's telephone, you still use it, no matter what mobile you use, right? Bitcoin already has Segwit, next would be LN, and then further implementations could be added according to necessity. As far as the bitcoin ecosystem including the users, nodes, developers, and miners say never say never it is never say never. I completely agree with you this was just an example used that nothing is ever cast in stone. We can speculate as much as we want we will never now what the future holds. There will always be an opportunity for something else to take the place of Bitcoin or co exist in the same ecosystem. The multi accounts are seriously hurting the progression and development, Onion are very popular and people just don't care how they can get their hands on them just to quick dump, now because of the stricter rules in place some members got caught in the crossfire. As you guys can see whats happening here and domino effect it has. Stop blaming DeepOnion as we only trying to create a platform where Onion can be distributed to deserving members. Start looking at the selfish people that hoard and farm accounts for quick profits, start directing your anger at them for causing so much disharmony amongst users. If it was not for them we would not have been in this situation where more stricter rules have to be applied and more screening form the Devs and mods need to be performed.
It really creates and undeserving amount of wasteful time that could have been used more proactively than babysitting review applications. Some people just don't have any morals.
Just to reiterate this project is barely a month old, it created so much attention for the right reasons, we had to fend of the continued Fud abuse because of the amount of traction DeepOnion created in a very short space of time. We have record views which is highly abnormal for a ANN. We had record rates on Nova one of the smallest exchanges to trade. So before you make false accusations and point fingers at the DEV and mods look at where we started, what we have achieved and what still lies ahead. Also ask yourself why has certain measures been taken, only now ask yourself what can you do or suggest to make thing better and create a more conducive and widespread favourable environment for all to share.

I bought most of my coins at 2$ and now the price is getting too low, is it safe to buy more?  In a year from now, someone will be reading this post of yours and wish that they were the ones that bought most of their Onions at $2. Don't worry about it. I wish I bought most of my Ethereums at $12. That's funny back in the day I have sold 500 ETH for 12$ each, because I thougth it was too high already, sometimes learning is painfull I have some many similar, painful examples. Ethereum, the simple mention of it bring a painful and negative feeling through my body. Everytime I go to coinmarketcap and I'm forced to see it. I won't be making the same mistake with this one. Want hear a pain full story, a good friend of mine sold 36000 btc for less than a dollar each, at the time he thought he made a killing as it was all just cpu mining, sadly this day it was the worst decision of his life. Unfortunately no one can foresee the future if only we had them crystal balls  |

Really it is difficult to becalm when checking exchange rate, however I agree that maybe accounts which were banned - started to sell their onions. It is a reason of low price.
I hope that we will have a price 5 and more soon
People act instinctively, we human after all, the price will correct. Mods are looking at all the queries with regards to users whom believe they were unlawfully banned. Let the review process take its cause, they only but a hand full of people serving this community. |

My master node keeps stopping or something a bit confused on how it works.
Any trouble shooting resources?
It is working and I am minting but after like 4 hours it stops and I have to restart it.
In your masternode conf. Place your external IP in there, it need to have the same port as your local ip. basically you need to have an open port for your node to be seen on the internet, you also need to do port warding on you router to open it. |

Congratulations to all those that received their onions, I'm sad that we shed so many users but in hindsight happy that we have a decent amount of core members that's committed to the DeepOnion project. As previously stated its easy to become intimidated by the escalating price to shed your onions, HoDL them and you will only reward yourself. crypto-rainbow, I suggest that you disable new applications after this airdrop and start reviewing all the accounts that were "blacklisted for unknown reason", including myself. And there seems to be many accounts banned for "suspicious activity" and people claim they have no idea what could be the reason.
This has bacome a major problem. This should really be your number one priority at the moment because I am sure that many people, I'd say about 50% of people were blacklisted by mistake and this is unfair. This could also be the reason why the price fell, because many people were disapointed that they were blacklisted for no reason so they left the community and sold their ONIONs.
I know you have a lot of work, including DeepSend and development, but community is the core of this project and currently we feel like you let us down.
We could be more patient, I agree, but you should at least tell us what is the plan, when are you going to review all the accounts who wrote a post on the official forum and we are waiting there for 5 days and still no answer and no explanation why we were banned.
New applications require time, so my suggestion is to disable new applications until you reply to all of us, old users who were blacklisted by mistake.
I don't mind this if there's really such a backlog of people who feel they've been unfairly banned. I still wouldn't take any airdrop and sell it, even with the 10% rule. That's not what he means! It turns out that the community was not the great triumph of Deeponion? I was suddenly banished, for no specific reason, just investigate me! I have been participating since August 18, when I received my first payment, bought some more ONION and left in another wallet to have no problems, and I was treated that way? Unfortunately, I can not stay 24 hours at the Deeponion Forum! What do I have to do with cheaters or anything else Let the review process take its course, I'm sure there is a valid explanation for the reason you were flagged. Remember these are handled by only a few people and with the influx of new registrations I'm pretty sure their hands are full. Relax and give it time. |

100 less users, is a 100 less weak hands, Good thing the drop is so long so we can weed out the quick profiteers. Onions are cheap now, good time to buy. there is no such big drop, people just spreading FUD to buy cheap. Market will correct itself, this is crypto after all, lots of swing will still be encountered.
