Why are you comparing to DRK and try to be the one or the the other ?
You should have the eye on the bigger pic.
Crypto needs a privacy and crypto needs to be decentraliced.
For me there are only two coins out now that offers these things and have the background of devs and community.
Itīs VTC and DRK
Maybe you have to switch your balances between these two sometimes, but donīt cash out to BTC or even worster - LTC

People talking about wating for the dump and making BTC profits have to come to a newer thinking.
Is it worth more to have BTC than DRK? I was thinking about this since i made my last daytrades @ 260k
and lost 80 DRK i never was able to buy back. DRK for me since that is only long term, daytrading is too risky for me,
not to loose BTC but i donīt want to loose some DRK a second time.
By the way i did spend my BTC on VTC after realized iīll wonīt be able to buy back my DRK

Any reason for the price going up
If you have to pay for your electricity you cant mine it on a price around 20..22k level in EU. For me itīs 50% more "profitable" to buy than mine VTC. Also in US it should be for most of the miners not profitable to mine on these pricerange. In the same moment price was going from 20k to 25k diff grows from 245 to 265 I was wondering why so long price was so bad. After getting listed on Mintpal VTC got more trading volume A lot of people are reluctant to deposit significant amounts of money into Cryptsy. I can't really comment on that because I've only seen mentioning of missing funds. Never lost any there myself. Just long deposit times. Also, my KW/h cost is .059-.06 USD. Where do you come from ? Is you price regular or do you have a special contract ? I have to pay 0.36 USD / Kwh thats x6 of yours |

I think the same. Some people have running to ppol a did not share with their miners. On Poloniex there is one sell order with more than 6000 mon. Who should be able to mine this amount of Mon without ripping of itīs miners  ? |

I am still at http://hk.vertco.in waiting for them to start offering the " bonus of MON and PLX " not sure how they will pay me this if the pool only lets me put in a VTC address. I would like a pool that does all 3 coins or atleast VTC / MON and that i can keep track of whats going on and not just a random point your miner to us and we pay you  We are still fixing bug in both stratum server and payout system. So, right now it doesn't support both MON and PLX yet. We wish it will be done before Sunday as we promise with miners that we will make it in this week. Will take awhile to get eaten up. A coin with zero premine, top shelf devs, a secure blockchain and a rather small total supply should be a no brainer. Mon needs to find an inspiring raison d'ętre and community support it to really take off I think. Then again, it's stability alone could make it an great speculative instrument. I'm gonna grab a few  As Mon had a very fair start with diff 2 on start and increasing reward of 24h before full reward came it only can be pools that have not paid their miners and dumped now everything they had before itīs getting totally worthless. price will become better within the next days when they have sold out their stolen coins. |

@ BorisTheSpider: Any info on a real p2pool client for mon? (you know, like vtc!) Its hard to solo mine mon if you arn't owning a 6mh/s and more rig(s)... And no, i will not join any "pools"... decentralisation... anyone remember?  now as we have seen the worth of mon isnīt that big as expected it makes no longer sense to mine it decentraliced on a pool like simple vert |

Better buy MON while it is ultra cheap...
it is very cheap to buy MON coins seems to be 1BTC= .08 MON now. MON is go to worth crap so hold on to your VTC coins
MON is first merged minable coin,no premine,fair launch,only 8.4 millions to be mined,currently in circulation 170-180k,net hashrate over 2.5ghs,diff 80+...this coin should be worth at least .002 only noobs sell at this prices yup,and now ppl are geting it,its jumped from 0.00020 to 0.00060 in 10 minutes and its still too cheap... Not sure if such merged coins will be worthless. Looks like people are not much interested in these coins. I wonīt sell them on this prices but also would not buy. |

why all sell? God from 3000 satoshi to 1500!
Could be that simple vert dumped a lot of plx because they mined nearly all coins with their 1gh hashrate? In the beginning they started triple mining nobody has set the paymentadress and they only give a 10% Bonus to people they have already set a plx paymentadress. Can you imagine how much coins you can gererate with a 1gh hasgrate for free mining 24hours. On the other hand they had to cover their cost for set up their pool. I did set my parallax adress within the first 15min they started. By now i have around only 100 plx by sending 1.2mh to simple vert. Maybe people do dump all plx they get on mining vtc what means nobody will buy them in future and it will become totally worthless. I think i lost 2ltc by buying in plx :-( |

Probably the biggest buy so far. Another record broken lately. We're heading towards 2000 LTC volume, which is also pretty cool If mintpal would be clever they should move the market back to BTC, so they can make much more profit |

I mined with simplevert.com for ~14hrs and I stopped 10 hours ago and I still only get ~4 MONs.
Where as when I mine on p2pool network 1 and network 2, for each of the three previous days I Get ~47 MONS - 55 MONS a day. This is with 1.28Mh/s.
Nothing wrong, diff already by 82 Coin warez diff calculator gives me 7.6 MON on 1.28Mh using VTC calculator and modify diff to 82 and reward to 25  not sure how you get these numbers... Trying the calculator myself...with 1.28mh/s and 82 diff gives me 15.7MONS a day. So half a day or (~12hrs) on simplevert should give me 7.6 MONS. Instead I got less than 4 MONs. Assuming VTC calculator works for MON anyways . You have to reduce block reward from 50 (VTC) to 25 (MON) |

Simple Vert now supports triple merge mining VTC/MON/PLX. 10% bonus on PLX, 2.5% on MON
Hopefully they donīt dump them on poloniex. There are block after block and nearly no user has set is paymentadress now. If they would give away all mined coins they minimum have to set the bonus to 50% for now |

its always the same. some people try to hold it down and during this time they buy buy and buy. After a lot of owners are pissed off they pump and all sellers are again pissed off donīt sell any before a price is around 3000 |

Have the files been uploaded? I can't see them in the releases section yet.
As someone else said, upload is taking a while. Zipped files are about 2GB but my upstream is being a bit slow. They'll be up ASAP. Running a own node is nice because you have no problems with getting paid and latency and you can easily switch between the 3 nets depending on your hash. With a small hash i think you will no longer be able to find a block MON or Parallax. Iīll try a while on 1.2Mh. I had not much luck with using a p2p pool and got only a few mon, mabe i find one solo but not a big hope |
