464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ETC] EternalCoin * Afterlife Currency * Launched! * on: April 11, 2014, 03:36:45 AM
no github?

Note: We are not affiliated with the previous EternalCoin.

Announcing the release of ETERNALCOIN "your coin for afterlife expenses"!

Launch Countdown: LAUNCHED!

Theology

Have you ever wondered exactly how you will pay for necessities in the afterlife?  Of course you have.  We all worry about such stupid things.  Well, worry no more.  Simply point your miners to EternalCoin (ETC) on April 10th and begin amassing the kind of fortune only the most righteous of souls have dreamed about!  Gone are the days when you needlessly worried about building a bank of points to get where you want to go.  With ETC you are almost guaranteed an afterlife seat next to those that look down upon you in this life based on your chosen lifestyle.  Heck, you may even be able to buy them as your servants.  How cool is that?

We are launching this scrypt based ticket to freedom on April 10th.  Be sure to visit this post often for updates.

Coin Specs

  • Scrypt based POW (proof of worthiness) (regular scrypt miners will work)
  • Initial Block Reward: 10,000 ETC
  • Block Time: 60 seconds
  • Block Maturity: 5 confirmations
  • Difficulty Retarget: 6 hours
  • Block Halving Rate: 6000 blocks (rewards early followers)
  • Max Coin Supply: 120 million ETC
  • Premine: Of course!  This life changing shit wasn't cheap to procure.  0.83% (approx. 1.0 million ETC in the form of the first 100 blocks for bounties and past and future development fees)

I'm mining this immediately, it looks very promising! Prices are exploding, very low difficulty.

115 low difficulty ?

469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Isracoin on: April 09, 2014, 04:34:20 PM
whoever is not crypto currency friendly... we could vote them out Smiley

anyone can make a proof like the facebook page... on anything.
just someone wrote something the guy said. did he really say or write anything? no proof

i do want to see a list of businesses for the airdrop
and validity of each (if my niece is working as baby sitter, and accepting Isracoins as payment, then she is not a business..)

this is what worries me about the premine..
too easy to cheat

Not a proof? it is the Isracoin dev telling us he is going to create a national coin in order to dump his coins and get rich.

Nope, no proof.  I'm not saying if it is a scam or not but this is not proof.
Of course most new coin dev's have the idea to also make money - if that is the criteria then almost ALL coins are scams.

If anything the biggest hurdle for the coin will be regulation since the authorities here are not really bitcoin friendly.

470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Isracoin on: April 09, 2014, 03:56:05 PM
we can see in blockchain if anything has been moved..
they published the premine addresses, you can follow in blockchain too

we can't know if one of them is in a trading site.
proof here not FB

EDIT- anyone can make a proof like you showed.. on anything
i do want to see list of businesses for the airdrop
and validity of each (if my niece is working as baby sitter, and accepting Isracoins as payment, then she is not a business..)

The Israeli site http://www.isracoin.org.il/ is exploding with activity ... Israelies are known for taking risks and quickly adapting new technologies as well as being bold and stubborn there could be something here.

+1 for the heads up

Actually the Israeli community spotted this project as a complete scam and no one is participating (or buying).

This is just a short pump so the dev can shit his pre mined coins on your head, be advised !!

proof?

All proofs are here if you can read hebrew
https://www.facebook.com/groups/IsraelCoin/

The devs are known scammers, few months ago they had a public conversation about creating a new country coin in order to get reach (I will upload a screen shot if someone is willing to translate).
They have more pre mined coins then the whole airdrop and the address of those coins is not public.

473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Twecoin] [TWE] CPU/GPU - 4 op new hash| NO PREMINE| LAUNCHED! on: April 07, 2014, 05:36:39 PM

474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Buffalocoin on: April 07, 2014, 04:32:30 PM
he didn't insta mine anything...
the miners who compiled did Smiley

So the 'dev' releases the coin without a working Windows wallet and then goes on to offer the 90% of people that use Windows that they need to figure out the problem and complie their own wallets as a viable solution. All while he insta-mines his own shitcoin at 0.00002 diff! Classic, a new level of shitcoin SCAM. This crap isn't even worth a single latoshi, if it even makes on to an exchange.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Buffalocoin on: April 07, 2014, 01:31:53 PM
electricity bill waste ?

even worse if you consider you could have mined something else that might be worth something Smiley

any suggestion what would that be ?
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Buffalocoin on: April 07, 2014, 01:22:02 PM

477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Buffalocoin on: April 07, 2014, 01:12:15 PM
i got a feeling the dev smashed his own coin with some big hashes and has killed it before it even got of the ground lol

its not the dev
its miners ...
the guy with 700kh/s got more than the premine..
i got already 20k to sell
i have few coins wallets with worthless coins in them already, all on the correct fork
